In this context, left-wing protestors will not be able to manipulate the emotions of sympathy and guilt on a mass scale, as they did with George Floyd. Ultimately, the spectacle of masked Antifa-style protestors occupying campuses over a foreign conflict and supporting Hamas-style “decolonization” does not offer a clear and significant upside.
But there is a significant potential downside.
In other words: make the Left own its pro-Hamas faction, or, alternatively, force the Left to deal with it – by breaking up the encampments, punishing wrongdoers, and restoring order, at whatever political cost this may exact. Let Ivy League presidents discover the consequences of their actions (or inactions)—and gently increase pressure from the outside.

Project Vote appears to be directing DOJ resources toward particular states; is having meetings with DOJ staff; and is even recommending lawyers to work in the Justice Department Voting Section that will oversee the 2012 presidential election.
Project Vote also appears to have played a role in the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s administration, which aims to force the state to increase voter registration in welfare agencies and drug treatment offices.

He mentions Lou Dobbs, Jeff Sessions and Sarah Palin as possible candidates who could take over the party apparatus by their running. A few minutes later in the interview, he discusses how President Trump came along and became the 2016 nominee.
Pretty interesting to see how the process worked then and is being reinvented under President Trump in the Trump era.
