Sunlight does strange things to people’s dispositions. The local NBC News affiliate WMC5 in Courtland Mississippi appears to have found a new job title for the owner of the M&M First Stop Gas Station, Ali Alsanai.
Only a few days ago they were reporting that Ali Alsanai, aka Basem Alsanai, aka Ali Fadhel, was the 19-year-old owner/operator of the business. After 48 hours of scrutiny into the background of Mr. Alsanai all of a sudden, poof, he becomes a “clerk” at the store.
The title of their on-line article passes him off as merely a “worker”, now.

Couldn’t have anything to do with the sunlight now upon the business, beer and wine licenses, ATF agents, and ears perked by USDA (*hint* EBT fraud), and IRS interests combining with FBI agents dispatched, while eyes seem curious about his successful entrepreneurship. You can’t make this stuff up folks.
PANOLA CO, MS (WMC) – The man who may have been one of the last people to talk with Jessica Chambers says he is being threatened, and he is being called the leader of a gang that may have been involved in Chambers’ death.
Jessica Chambers, a 19-year-old Panola County resident, was murdered on December 6th. She was found burning next to her car, which was also on fire. (more…)
Glenn Reynolds – Americans have been living through an enormously sensationalized college rape hoax, but as the evidence accumulates it’s becoming clear that the entire thing was just a bunch of media hype and political opportunism.
No, I’m not talking about the Rolling Stone‘s lurid and now-exploded fraternity gang-rape story. Whatever the truth behind that story, it’s now clear that basically nothing that Rolling Stone reporter Sabrina Rubin Erdely told us happened, actually happened. But the hoax is much bigger than one overwrought and perhaps entirely fictional tale of campus goings-on.
For months we’ve been told that there’s a burgeoning “epidemic” of rape on college campuses, that the system for dealing with campus rape is “broken” and that we need new federal legislation (of course!) to deal with this disaster. Before the Rolling Stone story imploded, Sens. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., were citing the Virginia gang rape as evidence of the problem, but now that the story has been exposed as bogus, they’re telling us that, regardless of that isolated incident, there’s still a huge campus rape problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. “What do we want? Dead Cops”
“When do we want them? Now”
(Via Daily Mail) A manhunt has been launched to find two young men who were filmed slapping and taunting an elderly man on a subway train in Chicago.
The men, both African American in their late teens or early 20s, towered over their victim as they laughed and jumped around him, hitting his head, on a CTA Blue Line train. At one point the slaps become so hard they are audible on the clip, which was filmed by their friend and posted on Facebook.
Though the man tries to kick back and gingerly lifts an arm to swipe at them, they cackle with laughter and jump out the way. (more…)
On Wednesday August 13th 2014 the FBI and local investigators sat down with Dorian Johnson in the office of his attorney, Freeman Bosley Jr. This was five days after the shooting death of his cohort, and strong arm robbery suspect, Michael Brown.
Wednesday August 13th was the day after Police Officer Darren Wilson had also given recorded statements to the investigators.
Prior to today the Federal Department of Justice had refused to release the official record and transcript of that interview with Dorian Johnson. Speculation has grown as to what the motives of the FBI would be to keep it hidden.
Apparently the FBI changed position and allowed Saint Louis Prosecutor to release the information. Today the transcript was released.

~ WHO KILLED JESSICA LANE CHAMBERS ~
Day #2 HERE – Day #3 HERE – Day #4 HERE – Day #5 HERE
To say the last 24 hours of research has uncovered significant information would be the understatement of the year.
We are going to attempt to share the discoveries and keep the text digestible, but the depth here is really consuming. So we’ll start with a troubling outline of the investigation and then share more alarming evidence of big trouble in a small town.
Here’s a video of District Attorney John Champion and Panola County Sheriff Dennis Darby, giving a press conference on Thursday. If you pay close attention you can hear cause for initial concern. What we outline after is jaw dropping:
“I do not anticipate any arrests“..
First concern – given the current framework and national sentiment around racial crime, you can quickly identify why DA John Champion would be the absolute worst possible person to seek Justice for Jessica Chambers. Once you know about his own racial issues, given his racial controversies in the Johnny Lee Butts case, well, you can see how he would be easily leveraged/pressured by the professional grievance industry.

Typical New York Democrat and hypocritical liberal elitism on display. Mayor Bill de Blasio puts a fence around his mayoral home.
NEW YORK – Mayor Bill de Blasio, a self-declared progressive “man of the people,” has erected a massive new “privacy fence” to keep his constituents from looking in on Gracie Mansion.

The new fence — constructed just inside an existing red brick wall and a wrought-iron fence ringing the historic property — was actually dubbed a “privacy fence” by de Blasio and first lady Chirlane McCray, sources told The Post.
“So much for being mayor of the people. That brick fence was good enough for Rudy Giuliani and his family, and for Ed Koch and all the mayors before him,” a law enforcement source said.
Sources said the increasingly thin-skinned mayor demanded the extension because he was sick of nosy people in Carl Schurz Park peeping in while he hung out in the yard. (read more)
The last federal budget was signed into law September 2007 by President Bush. Since then the past 7 fiscal years have been funded under continuing resolution bills.
In a sane world the Republicans would have only funded Fiscal Year 2015 through April, and taken the position of waiting to see President Obama’s budget proposal for FY 2016 which is due in February. (President Obama has never met a statutorily required budget submission deadline). Alas, another year funded by CR.
Via Politico – In a big win for House Republicans and President Barack Obama, the House passed a $1 trillion-plus funding bill Thursday night that will keep the government open into next year.
The final vote, which came after a high drama day of behind the scenes arm twisting and vote counting, was 219 to 206.
The Senate passed a two-day funding bill following the House vote, avoiding a government shutdown starting at midnight Thursday. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), however, warned that the “cromnibus,” as the massive spending package has come to be called on Capitol Hill, may not pass the Senate until Monday. (more…)
We have withheld a discussion thread on the entire Rolling Stone / UVA Rape Scandal because, well, quite frankly, we’ve got our hands full just dealing with the inbound hate from the professional grievance crowd. The last thing we would like to add is a strong dose of inbound fem-Nazi’s (ie. the ideological compatriots of the BGI with an additional gender grievance). There’s only so much moonbattery you can take.

That said, when you see the far left media trying to sulk their way to the exits you know the point has been reached where it’s safe time to call the baby ugly.
The entire controversy was constructed around a seriously unstable, attention desperate, false victim. Her Tawana Brawley-like story was then collected by, solicited by, promoted by and sold by, a rabid similarly minded fem-leftist working at Rolling Stone; Sabrina Erdely playing the role of Al Sharpton.
It was all BS. ALL OF IT.
This is the first time, and most likely the last time, you’ll ever see a Slate article shared here – however, the mere fact they are being cited should show how ridiculously false this entire construct has been from the outset. With that, we bow out: (more…)
Forbes picks up on the IRS scandal being coordinated by the DOJ…
(Via Forbes) Sadly, the 18 month investigation into the IRS targeting of conservative groups isn’t over, and it may be worse than anyone thought. A federal judge has broken loose more emails that the DOJ had surely hoped would never surface. The picture it reveals isn’t pretty. The documents prove that Lois Lerner met with DOJ’s Election Crimes Division a month before the 2010 elections.
It has to be embarrassing to the DOJ, which may not be the most impartial one to be investigating the IRS. In fact, the DOJ withheld over 800 pages of Lerner documents citing “taxpayer privacy” and “deliberative privilege.” Yet these internal DOJ documents show Ms. Lerner was talking to DOJ officials about prosecuting tax-exempt entities (yes, criminally!) two years before the IRS conceded there was inappropriate targeting.
