(Via Reuters) The ringleader behind the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris had plans to strike Jewish targets and to disrupt schools and the transport system in France, according to sources close to the investigation.
Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a Belgian national of Moroccan origin, also boasted of the ease with which he had re-entered Europe from Syria via Greece two months earlier, exploiting the confusion of the migrant crisis and the continent’s passport-free Schengen system, the sources said on Friday. (more…)
SWEDEN Via UK Guardian – Sweden needs “respite” from the tens of thousands of refugees knocking at its door, the government has said, announcing tough measures to deter asylum seekers in a sharp reversal of its open-door policy towards people fleeing war and persecution.

The country’s generous asylum regime would revert to the “EU minimum”, Sweden’s prime minister, Stefan Löfven, said on Tuesday, revealing that most refugees would receive only temporary residence permits from April.
Identity checks would be imposed on all modes of transport, and the right to bring families to Sweden would be severely restricted, he said. (more…)
France’s socialist President Hollande was already in political trouble prior to the terror attack in Paris and this has only been exacerbated by recent events. In order for Hollande to remain connected to, and a viable leader of, the people of France – he must now embrace the reality of a growing nationalist sentiment. Enter Vladimir Putin….

( Via Fox News ) French President Francois Hollande and Russia’s Vladimir Putin agreed to share intelligence information and cooperate on selecting targets in the fight against the Islamic State group, raising hope for closer ties between Moscow and the U.S.-led anti-IS coalition following the Paris terror attacks.
Putin said that Russia is ready to more broadly coordinate its military action in Syria with the U.S.-led coalition, but he harshly criticized Washington for failing to prevent the downing of a Russian warplane by NATO member Turkey. Hollande said Tuesday’s shoot-down of the Russian jet was a “serious incident, obviously regrettable” that underlined the need for closer coordination between the nations which are fighting the IS.
The story of CENTCOM analysts accusing commanders of manipulating intelligence reports on ISIS to appease the White House is a story that has some interest in the mainstream media – but what if it is actually connected to a larger issue?
Washington DC -Allegations are mounting that senior intelligence officials at Central Command not only skewed findings on the ISIS war to please D.C., but tried to hide what they did.
In July, a group of intelligence analysts at the U.S. military’s Central Command accused their bosses of distorting and selectively editing intelligence reports about the fight against ISIS in order to portray that campaign as more successful than it really was. As a result of those complaints, the Pentagon’s inspector general opened an investigation.
Now, the allegations of misconduct have extended to a possible cover-up, with some analysts accusing the senior intelligence officials at CENTCOM, Maj. Gen. Steven Grove and his civilian deputy, Gregory Ryckman, of deleting emails and files from computer systems before the inspector general could examine them, three individuals familiar with the investigation told The Daily Beast.
One U.S. official said the alleged activity could amount to obstruction and interference with the inspector general’s investigation, which began last summer. (read more)
The presumption within the controversy (as it is generally discussed by the media) is that CENTCOM bosses changed the intel to give the impression of success to please the White House. But what if that wasn’t the reason?

Last Sunday Pastor Robert Jeffress discussed the nature of violent Islam within his sermon. Despite the discomfort, it is a discussion long, long overdue. As stated within his delivery “it is time for us, and for government, to act”.
There is much plain-spoken truth within this 6 minutes. However, I would nuance the conversation with our own families slightly differently. While it is essentially accurate to say we are confronting “Radical Islam”, and/or those who believe in “Authentic Islam”, there is a more accurate term for what we face.
The behavior we are confronting is “Islamic Jihad”. The Islamic Jihad has been a never-ending war against the West. Christians, Secularists and Atheists alike are all infidels; and as a consequence enemies of, and targets for, the Islamic Jihad.
Lastly, there is something rather significant to consider. Everyone notices there is a growing anger amid all people, on all sides. (more…)
Islamic militants waged yet another Islamic Jihad attack in North Africa. The death toll has now climbed to 19 as the majority of the Western media still refuse to accept the resurgence of the centuries-old jihad.

(Via Reuters) Islamist militants killed 19 people in an attack on a top hotel in the capital of Mali before Malian commandos stormed the building and rescued 170 people, many of them foreigners. Two militants were killed.
President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita announced the death toll and said seven people were wounded in the attack, which has been claimed by jihadist group Al Mourabitoun and al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). (more…)
RUSSIA – The United Nations has called the states to fight “a global and unprecedented threat to international peace and security” which is Islamic State (IS, ISIS/ISIL, Da’esh). All 15 members of the UN Security Council voted to adopt the French-proposed resolution.
