Report – Team DeSantis Splitting from Superpac Amid Anger Over PAC Inability to Boost Florida Governor

There is an interesting report from Politico expanding on the conflict between the campaign of Ron DeSantis and the Never Back Down SuperPAC that was intended to support him.  [SEE HERE]

Essentially, the Politico sources from within the DeSantis operation are claiming the campaign is furious about how the SuperPAC has spent tens of millions, yet the Florida Governor is less supported now than before the campaign launched.  As the article is framed, we are watching the final stages of the DeSantis implosion as a more favored new SuperPAC is launching for a last-ditch effort at rebranding.  That would be reboot 5.0.

That said, I would caution applying too much credit to the actual split, because Ron DeSantis previously deposited his entire leadership and leftover campaign account from his Florida race into the NBD SuperPAC.  DeSantis is stuck with Jeff Roe and Ken Cuccinelli regardless of their incompetence.

(Politico) – Tensions between Ron DeSantis’ struggling presidential campaign and his allied super PAC are boiling over, with the campaign losing confidence in Never Back Down’s leadership and ability to orchestrate a TV advertising campaign, according to two people close to the Florida governor.

The criticism comes amid mounting questions about the strength of DeSantis’ campaign, and that of Never Back Down. The super PAC has suffered two major departures over the last week, with the organization’s CEO, Chris Jankowski, and its chair, Adam Laxalt, stepping down.

Chairman of Ron DeSantis Superpac, Never Back Down, Quits

It’s like watching a slow-motion train wreck of Sea Island billionaires.

Last week the Chief Executive Officer of the DeSantis “Never Back Down” super PAC, Chris Jankowski, backed down and quit.  This week the Chairman of the SuperPAC, Adam Laxalt, quits.  …And Florida now dislikes DeSantis, so there’s no easy return home.  Best primary election ever.

Associated Press – The chairman of the most powerful independent group supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential ambitions has resigned, marking the second major departure at the pro-DeSantis Never Back Down super PAC in the last two weeks.

Never Back Down Chairman Adam Laxalt, the former Nevada attorney general and a close DeSantis confidant, submitted his resignation on Sunday, according to a copy of the letter obtained by The Associated Press on Friday. The New York Times first reported Laxalt’s decision.

“Effective immediately, I am resigning from the Board of Directors of Never Back Down. After nearly 26 straight months of being in a full scale campaign, I need to return my time and attention to my family and law practice,” Laxalt wrote to the super PAC board. “I will continue to support Governor DeSantis in whatever ways I can, and I hope and pray that his campaign will be successful.”

Sad Meatball – Paul Ryan Tells Wisconsin GOP to Support Nikki Haley Over Ron DeSantis

Poor meatball is being kicked to the curb by his BFF Paul Ryan.

Then again, on the DeceptiCon playground of the professionally Republican, the cliques are always so tenuous.  Former Ryan endorsed Ron DeSantis now has big sad watching the ‘Never Trump’ GOPe run to Nikki Haley as their best hope to stop Godzilla Trump.

(Via Politico) – […] during a flight from Canada to D.C. on Tuesday morning: former Speaker PAUL RYAN attempting to persuade Rep. MIKE GALLAGHER (R-Wis.) via text message to endorse Haley’s presidential bid.

“I think now is the time for a guy like you to endorse,” Ryan wrote, per photographs reviewed by Playbook. “Plus, Her foreign policy/world views track closest to yours. She brings the most excitement. I like Ron, but don’t think he is the growth stock Niki [sic] is. Just following up per our talk [in] September. Go Packers!”

Said a Gallagher spokesperson, “As Congressman Gallagher has repeatedly said, he has no intention to endorse any candidate at this time.” A spokesperson for Ryan, who opposes DONALD TRUMP’s re-nomination but hasn’t endorsed an alternative, noted that the former speaker publicly praised Haley as “the growth stock” in a CNBC appearance yesterday. After Pledging $70 Million, Charles Koch Selects Nikki Haley as the Vessel to Remove His Trump Problem

In the era where they refuse to accept their irrelevance, billionaires and their political money are easy parted.  So goes the game of grift amid the professional political class when contrast against the power of We The People.  It’s actually quite funny to watch and doesn’t annoy me one bit.

Charles Koch, a man of notorious disposition who loves open borders and multinational trade – which puts him on the outside of the America First movement, had previously pledged to spend $70 million (through his Americans For Prosperity political action committee) to remove President Trump.  Today, Charles Koch selected Nikki Haley over Ron DeSantis to be the vessel for his effort.

Via Daily Mail – The conservative U.S. political network headed by billionaire Charles Koch on Tuesday endorsed Nikki Haley for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, saying she was the best candidate to beat President Joe Biden next year.

It is the latest boost for the former South Carolina governor who has seen her stock rise with strong debate performances and improving poll numbers.

Her traditional conservative positions also align with the Koch network, which uses its money to push for tax cuts and less government regulation.

Setting out its reasons, the group said beating former President Donald Trump in the primaries was a top priority.

Ron DeSantis Paid Evangelical “Indulgency Fee” for Bob Vander Plaats’ Iowa Endorsement

I was going to try and write about this last week; however, my previously scheduled research time in Budapest, Hungary, was more critically time-urgent and stunningly more valuable.  Despite the DHS anxiety and fingerprinting upon return, I will be sharing those incredible details in a password protected post to come shortly. Yes, I am pushing the envelope.

That said, Ad Rem made note of the Vander Plaats revelation {SEE HERE} as it highlights perfectly the fraud that is the Ron DeSantis campaign.

Yes, Ron DeSantis paid evangelical Iowa leader Bob Vander Plaats a $95,000 “indulgency fee” for his endorsement.  However, providing even more sunlight upon the nature of the U.S political apparatus, the Vander Plaats payment was not the first, or even second or third.   The club system, to construct the illusion of choice, long predates the current political race and carries multiple “indulgency fees” that are paid by professionally Republican candidates.

2011 – DAVENPORT, Iowa – An Iowa Christian conservative leader who bestowed his highly sought-after endorsement on presidential candidate Rick Santorum this week is now at the center of a controversy over whether he asked for cash in exchange for his public support.

Less than 48-hours after receiving the backing of Bob Vander Plaats, the head of the prominent evangelical group The Family Leader, Santorum disclosed that the prominent Iowan told him he needed money to make the most out of the endorsement.

And sources familiar with talks between the conservative heavyweight and representatives from several of the Republican presidential campaigns went a step further, describing Vander Plaats’ tactics as corrupt.

Moms For America Endorses President Donald Trump

Moms for America is a dedicated advocacy group for women and children against the modern cultural Marxists.  Today they endorsed President Donald Trump for 2024.

[Endorsement Link] – […] What we need most right now are leaders who will protect the Constitution, defend the family, and stand for truth and commonsense even when it isn’t popular to do so. We need leaders who are not afraid to fight for what’s right, who will defend the Constitution and put America first. That is why Moms for America Action is endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Donald Trump has already proven himself the leader we need in these turbulent times. As president, Donald Trump was a steadfast champion for moms. He took action to keep our children safe in schools by rescinding Barack Obama’s co-ed bathroom policy – in his first week in office. He reduced taxes and cut regulations to ease the burden on hard-working American families. He instituted policies that allowed America to achieve true energy independence for the first time in half a century, slashing the prices of gas and electricity to the benefit of moms and their families.

After Demanding Texas AG Ken Paxton Resign to Support George P Bush, Congressman Chip Roy Endorses Ron DeSantis

In the next several months you might notice a more deliberate tone to the CTH postings that may create some discomfort for those who prefer a more delicate approach.  Having met with several people who are now accepting the non-pretending framework, and having a seemingly enlarged support network ready to see things as they are – and not as we would customarily wish them to be, it becomes more important than ever to provide brutally honesty within all review.

Congressman Chip Roy previously aligned with the George P Bush clan and called for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to resign {SEE HERE}, thereby showcasing his ideological alignment with the professional republican apparatus who constructed a completely fabricated political hit against Paxton. As a consequence, it does not come as a surprise to see Representative Roy align with the professional republican, Ron DeSantis.

There is nothing “truly good or decent” about the DeSantis couple who would scheme, lie and connive with the billionaire donor class of Never Trumpers to deceive the Florida and national electorate.  Everything about the DeSantis operation is astroturf, fabricated, false and manipulative.

The time for half measures is no longer.  If we are to accept the great awakening, we can no longer provide quarter to those who would continue the era of battered conservative syndrome.

Trump Leads GOP Primary Field With 67%, Dominates Biden +8 and Harris +12

An interesting follow-up poll from Harvard Harris [DATA HERE] shows the continued strength of the Trump MAGA base against the field of GOP/Dem candidates and useful idiots.

With Donald Trump holding a commanding 67% lead over all other GOP candidates, one must ask why they remain in the nomination process without being able to break single digits.  The answer to that question reveals their corporate agenda.

[DATA HERE]

Remarkably on page 25 of the poll the results show Kamala Harris is the most favored candidate to replace Joe Biden for the 2024 nomination.   Harris holds 24% as the replacement for the DNC nomination.

However, on page 33 of the poll, the question of Trump -vs- Harris is asked and President Trump handedly crushes Kamala Harris 52% to 40%.

Be of good cheer….  The nominee coming out of the DNC convention is unlikely to be Joe Biden.  However, as this poll reflects, even the substitute will start with an uphill battle.

Billionaire Donor Twitches – DeSantis Falls to Fifth Place in Bifurcated New Hampshire

New Hampshire is made up of two generally strong dispositions inside the Republican apparatus.  This is a similar state operation to the Wisconsin structure of corporate club republicanism.   Wisconsin and New Hampshire GOPe are very similar to each other.  [POLLING DATA]

In New Hampshire, you have the traditional control apparatus (Bush group) and the voting base of Republicans (TP/MAGA centric); the two groups are deadlocked in a battle for control.  Essentially, the party apparatus vs the will of the people.

In 2016, using the ground organization of Corey Lewandowski, the Trump team was able to overwhelm the club apparatus in New Hampshire and give the TP/MAGA voices the directional power.  The party apparatus does not like that and has been fighting back ever since.

The billionaire class have been looking for a savior, some candidate that can supplement the DC Lawfare attack against Trump and provide an alternative.  They have failed miserably.   In part, their failure is because the traditional billionaire club control apparatus talks to themselves inside an echo chamber; much like the DC beltway, the professional Republicans just don’t understand the issues and dynamics of core Main Street, core MAGA voters.

WE THE PEOPLE continue to overwhelm the GOPe apparatus, because we refuse to be controlled.  It’s a new era, the message is understood; the awakening is well underway… old schemes like the plans used to destroy the Tea Party will not work because there are more people paying attention to the accurate aspects of U.S. politics.

DeSantis was the GOPe foil; everything planned to enhance and support the DeSantis candidacy was planned long ago.  Long before the DeSantis campaign launched, the RGA/RNC and Sea Island billionaire donors had that plan well in place.  The 2022, a $20 million contribution from the RGA to DeSantis was part of that laundry mechanism to provide support for a 2024 presidential bid.
