Maybe it’s just because he’s never actually spent any time reflecting about meaning;  Or maybe it’s because the audience is made up of people who thrice denied accepting the existence of God in their national party platform;  but a RIGHTEOUS God is nothing to fear.

God is not to “be feared“; such a concept is actually quite silly. What would any person of compassionate -or even deliberately honest- constitution, have to fear from our Lord and Savior ?

God does not hold forth any disposition for our existence to be based on fear or threat.

It is not the Wolf of God – It is the Lamb of God.   The absence of God is fear filled – Not the “presence of“.

Sharon hits the nail squarely on the head:

barackhusseinobama has no personal fear of God. He believes he is qualified to play the role of God (see his August 2011 comments to the Jewish rabbis describing himself as being “a partner with God in matters of life and death”) and he considers it appropriate to describe his task as putting the fear of God into an audience.

Anyone who actually fears the Sovereign God does not use that kind of language toward anyone, out of some level of understanding of their own need to fear God.

Believe what obama says about himself and what he reveals about himself. Do not doubt him.

We’ve written about the intellectual debate capability of Kirsten Powers before.    As a self-described avowed liberal you can often see her struggle to reconcile the flaws within liberalism, as a political ideology, with current events.   
Powers is honest enough to notice the “consequences” of liberalism when exhibited to its natural conclusion; yet the foundational anchors of her youth, and the modern social circle of greatest influence, i.e. ‘the society of her comfort’, make it difficult to walk it all the way out.  
Her recent article posted at Christianity Today is well worth the read.

We spend quite a bit of time on this website talking about the need to stand in the sunlight of your own beliefs and not be discouraged.   There is a reason why President Obama tells our national audience to stop listening to talk radio, bloggers, and those who stand in opposition to the leftward march of his rigid ideologues.  They would prefer you to find comfort amid the shadows.
Their reason is the same now as it always has been. The Fabian’s need to convince you your views are in the minority.   They hold a collective view of all governance, and individual liberty and freedom principles run directly in opposition to their own goals.
The Fabian goals are achieved by destruction of common acceptances and “Remould Closer To Their Heart’s Desire”.    Hence, they need you to actually operate against your beliefs of individualism, and they need to continue convincing people to vote against their own individual best interests.
Considering the morale of liberty against the backdrop of the Fabian intents we have drawn historical references to the Polish Solidarity movement.

I saw this on TV a few days ago and it really is quite incredible. A guy walks into a McDonalds intent on a mass shooting. He pulls the trigger five times trying to shoot people, nothing happens. He walks outside and fires into the air, no problem. So he walks back into the McDonalds and tries again to kill people; pulls the trigger another three times, and nothing happens. Then he walks back outside and the next two trigger pulls work as he shoots a car twice.
God was watching over those people in the McDonalds.
TEXAS – When Jestin Anthony Joseph walked into a McDonald’s and asked for a cup of water, that’s not all he was after.
Witnesses say the 24-year-old soon pulled out a gun and pointed it at employees and customers — who were with children — demanding their possessions.
Fort Worth police say surveillance video shows Joseph pulling the trigger at least five times while pointing it at individuals inside the restaurant — but the gun wouldn’t fire.
At least one man tried to wrestle the gun away from Joseph, who then went outside and fired a shot into the air, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram says. (more…)

This really is no surprise.  We have well documented how the average Egyptian held disdain for President Obama based on the reality that Obama supported the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi; while Morsi was slaughtering Christians, taking over the courts, and even allowing Christian crucifixions to take place immediately outside his residence.
The average Egyptian does not welcome political Islam, terrorists, Jihadists and extremists.   They have tasted freedom and like the people in Western Libya they are not going to accept Salafist dictates and Sharia type governance;  all of which were supported by the insufferable duplicity and willful blindness of Senator John McCain, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Secretary John Kerry and the entire Obama administration. 
So this recent example of the Egyptian sentiment should be expected.  –  Egypt’s Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy told the London-based Al-Hayat daily that Egyptian relations with the U.S. were “turbulent” and the Egyptian public has “unprecedented negative views” toward the United States. (more…)

A few things become concerning with the information coming out.   At the top of that list comes the fact most of the terrorists *travelled to* the country to carry out the attack passing through multiple security levels.
New York Times […]  The building’s blueprints were studied, down to the ventilation ducts. The attack was rehearsed and the team dispatched, slipping undetected through Kenya’s porous borders, often patrolled by underpaid — and deeply corrupt — border guards.

A day or two before the attack, powerful belt-fed machine guns were secretly stashed in a shop in the mall with the help of a colluding employee, officials say. At least one militant had even packed a change of clothes so he could slip out with fleeing civilians after the killings were done. (more…)

Last week U.S. liberals coast to coast were proclaiming that Pope Francis was welcoming to Homosexuality, endorsing of Abortion rights, and darn near a Democrat.  They thought they had their Pope Heinous The Great…. 
Now this….
…..  [Telegraph]  From all of last week’s headlines saying that the Pope wants to forget this nonsense about abortion and gays, you’d imagine that Germaine Greer had been elected to run the Catholic Church. Actually what the Pope was saying was that he wants the Church to talk more about what it’s for than what it’s against. But that doesn’t mean it won’t still be against those things that contradict its teachings and traditions.
Just ask Greg Reynolds of Melbourne – a priest who appears to have been both defrocked and excommunicated because of his radical views on women clergy and gay marriage. From Australia’s The Age:

(Via UK Daily Mail)  Americans were injured in a terror attack by  as many as 10 gunmen at a Nairobi, Kenya, shopping center that has left at least  40 people dead and as many as 300 injured – a female Canadian diplomat and a  pregnant popular Kenyan radio journalist are among the dead.
The US State Department has confirmed that  four Americans were hurt in the mass shooting Saturday in a statement issued  from the US Embassy in Nairobi, but declined to give names or an exact number of  Americans hurt. Americans are not  believed to be among the dead at this time. The dead range in ages from two to  78-years-old, according to a Kenyan government official. Five hostages were  released around 2am local time.

(FLORIDA)  A Florida ministry that feeds the poor said a state agriculture department official told them they would not be allowed to receive USDA food unless they removed portraits of Christ, the Ten Commandments, a banner that read “Jesus is Lord” and stopping giving Bibles to the needy.

“They told us they could no longer allow us to have any religious information where the USDA food is going to be,” said Kay Daly, executive director of the Christian Service Center.
So why did the government have an issue with the religious group’s religious decorations? A spokesperson for the Florida Department of Agriculture told me they were following the guidelines written by the USDA. (more…)

James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time.  The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of “Cat”, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept.  “I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it”, she said. “I think that’s what he would have wanted.” (From a public Facebook page)
