(NY Observer) In perhaps the most stunning documentation yet of abuses by Eric Holder’s Justice Department, two former Assistant United States Attorneys spoke to defense attorneys and revealed appalling deceit and corruption of justice.
This latest litigation time bomb has exploded from multi-million dollar litigation originally brought by the Department of Justice against Sierra Pacific based on allegations that the lumber company and related defendants were responsible for a wildfire that destroyed 65,000 acres in California.
In what was dubbed the “Moonlight Fire” case, the tables are now turned. The defendants have discovered new evidence and filed a stunning motion. The new evidence and disclosures are being taken seriously by the Chief Judge of the Eastern District of California—as they should be. In a shocking action, Judge Morrison C. England Jr. ordered the recusal of every federal judge in the Eastern District of California. (more…)
The retreat continues…. Hopefully everyone is noticing the DOJ phased approach. Remember the federal DOJ/CRS is in charge of the activity on the ground in Ferguson and Saint Louis. All strategic arrests come pre-approved and fully supported.
FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – State senator Jamilah Nasheed has been arrested Monday night in Ferguson.

It’s understandable the family of Mike Brown doesn’t fully digest who and why information is leaking to the media from inside the “federal” investigation. The CRS is working on an exit strategy – to the family, the prior DOJ alignment is a challenging reconciliation against the backdrop of the DOJ/CRS walk-back.
This perspective is confirmed today by the former Police Chief:
FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOX) – Information about the Michael Brown fatal police shooting is starting to leak out, and former St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch says it’s no accident the feds are allowing the information.
A New York Times article indicates, according to federal investigators, there was a struggle that led up to the fatal police shooting of Brown.
Fitch calls the information from the investigation coming out as phase two – to “coordinate leaks to the media, and to start getting some of the facts out there to kind of let people down slowly,” he says. “When I say this is phase two – phase one was really Eric Holder’s announcement how they were going to basically do a complete review and take over the Ferguson Police Department.” (more…)
There’s a reason why the Obama administration is keeping the new rates for Obamacare hidden until after the election…
(IBD) ObamaCare shoppers in search of the lowest-cost plan may come down with a mild case of rate shock when 2015 exchange enrollment begins next month.
An examination of next year’s rates in the biggest city in 15 states and Washington, D.C., reveals that the cost of the cheapest bronze plan will jump an average of 13.9% for 40-year-old non-smokers earning 225% of the poverty level ($26,260).
In Seattle, the cost of the cheapest bronze plan, after subsidies, will soar 64%, from $60 to $98 per month, for individuals at this income level. Some other cities seeing notable gains include Providence (up 38%, from $72 to $99 per month); Los Angeles (up 27%, from $88 to $111); Las Vegas (up 22%, from $100 to $122); and New York (up 18%, from $97 to $114).
The surge in the cost of the cheapest subsidized bronze policy could negatively impact enrollment in 2015. This year, 39% of bronze plan choosers picked the lowest-price option. One might expect that share to rise in 2015, when millions of people who passed on ObamaCare exchanges this year are expected to enroll. (more…)
This is considered a staggering, albeit splendid, defeat considering Turkey was anticipated to be a shoo-in for a non-permanent U.N. Security Council seat.
Previously Turkey had claimed letters of support from 160 countries. However, the actual voting by secret ballot showed they only had 60 countries who supported their bid. The needed threshold is 128 supportive votes. Spain won the seat with 132 votes of support. New Zealand is the other contested victor who won in a previous ballot.
As Newsweek reported: “[Last] Wednesday night, Turkey’s foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, hosted a posh party for diplomats at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, where many of the guests predicted an easy victory for Turkey“.
Apparently the ‘pinky swear’ diplomats partook of the ritzy digs; but when push came to shove they knew their ballots would be secret so they ditched the Turks who have become more and more unreliable as Sunni Islamist President Erdogan pushes Turkey further and further into radical Islam. (more…)

After coming to the reality the Kurds were going to hold the city at all costs the Pentagon appears to be trying to save face. After reading many of the reports from the region it appears the political strategy of the White House is also coming clear.

In order to protect themselves from the natural questions which would flow from President Obama and President Erdogan’s prior position of refusing aide for the Kurds in Kobane – the White House needs a political explanation. My hunch is you’ll hear the White House claim they were intentionally luring ISIS into amassing around Kobane so they could target the enemy in one centrally located area. In addition, the ploy -per se- will be sold as pinning ISIS to a singular geography and then targeting their resupply efforts.
Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket.
It’s an explanation just like the White House intentionally drawing the Syrian WMD “red line” because Secretary Kerry knew Russia would step in to take charge of removing the Assad WMD stockpiles. Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket.

The #Ferguson protesters are embarrassingly pathetic – yet they appear not to even notice they have devolved into a parody unto themselves.
Saint Louis – Rams fans and Ferguson protesters fought Sunday afternoon outside the Edward Jones Dome after the Rams secured a victory over the visiting Seattle Seahawks, the defending Super Bowl Champions.
At around 3 p.m. a handful of fans argued with protesters, who were yelling and chanting, near the intersection of North Broadway and Cole streets.

The yelling escalated, a fan appeared to spit on one of the protesters and he was then struck on the head, at which point a melee ensued and punches were thrown. (more…)
When you write articles no-one reads; produce news shows no-one watches; pontificate opinion no-one else holds; you end up in a downward spiral. CNN downsizing now faces the ire of the BGI.
(Via Daily Caller) The brawl between CNN and a black media group just got nastier.

In a statement released early Saturday morning, Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) said the recent cuts at Time Warner are “troubling.” Specifically, though, its layoffs of African Americans in senior and executive roles at CNN, the company’s flagship news organization, that are particularly “concerning” for her.
Her statement comes on the heels of a few weeks of rough relations between CNN and the National Association of Black Journalists. Last week, NABJ condemned the practices toward black employees at CNN. This week, CNN supposedly pulled funding requested by NABJ for a jobs fair. According to Politico, CNN disputes that it has reached any final conclusions on the matter and that funding has not definitively been pulled. (read more)
