• ♦ 11 police officers shot  ♦ Five Dead ♦ Three Critical
• ♦ At least four suspects.  ♦ Three in custody (one woman). ♦ Two in custody from a stopped vehicle noticed leaving the scene.  ♦ One female in custody
• ♦ One suspect in current standoff with police claiming bombs planted in parking garage.
• ♦ Police Chief states four possible snipers using elevated triangulated fire at specific point in protest rally march.  ♦ Appears to be planned coordinated to occur with Black Lives Matter March.  ♦ No motives ruled out.

It has been a devastating night. We are sad to report a fifth officer has died.

A video segment aired on overnight TV was a cell phone video capture from an eye witness to the initial shootings in Dallas.  One of the gunman can be seen firing toward multiple police officers.
As one officer moves in to engage the shooter he is overwhelmed by the gunman’s firepower, is shot from behind and then shot multiple times as he lays on the sidewalk.

Against the earlier shooting in Baton Rouge Louisiana, unfortunately this police shooting will lead the news cycles – guaranteed.
This latest shooting happened only a few hours ago.  Police said the incident began with a traffic stop around 9 p.m (link).
Sketchy Details / No media yet – As best we can determine, a woman named Lavish Reynolds (aka Diamond Reynolds) immediately began live-streaming video of the aftermath from a police officer shooting her boyfriend four times.  A four year old girl was in the back seat. (more…)

It’s a little odd to see a “not guilty” plea, considering Michael Sandford previously admitted to the plot to assassinate presidential candidate Donald Trump.

LAS VEGAS (AP) – A British citizen pleaded not guilty Wednesday to U.S. federal charges alleging he tried to grab a police officer’s gun to shoot presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at a Las Vegas campaign rally.
A judge set an Aug. 22 trial date for Michael Steven Sandford, 20, on charges of disrupting an official function and two firearm possession counts.
Sandford stood wearing a yellow jail jump suit with his federal public defense attorneys during his brief arraignment. (more…)

(Via Time) A 37-year-old man who had previously been charged with providing support to Al-Qaeda was handed a three-count indictment in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday for soliciting the murder of the federal judge presiding over his case.
Yahya Farooq Mohammad was charged with attempted first-degree murder of a federal officer, solicitation to commit a crime of violence and use of interstate commerce facilities in commission of murder for hire, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.

A Canadian documentary filmmaker has produced an independent documentary about the Walter Scott shooting that is almost identical to the research review we presented in April of 2015.
The title of the film is “Frame 394”. You decide if there’s a rather curious similarity:

New York – A blast in Central Park severed the left foot of a young man visiting New York from Virginia Sunday, witnesses said.

The NYPD’s bomb squad was investigating the area of the park near E. 60th St. and Fifth Ave. Cops at the scene suspected a mishap involving fireworks and said it did not appear an explosive device caused the boom heard from blocks away around 11 a.m.
The victim was identified by sources as Connor Golden, 18, from Fairfax, Va. His foot was “all but gone,” one witness said.

Perhaps you’ve read or heard about the 29-year-old California driver, Stacey Sanchez, who was driving drunk, hit a pedestrian, and continued driving home with most of his body impaled in the front windshield.   One of 69-year-old Jack Ray Tenhulzen’s severed legs was also sticking out the back window when Sanchez parked and went inside her home to sleep.  Story Here

If you read yesterday’s local media update to the horrific story, when Ms. Sanchez appeared in court, way down at the bottom of the article you’ll find this:

[…]  Superior Court Judge James Mangione kept Sanchez’ bail at $1.5 million. She also has an immigration hold, which means that if she were to be released she would be turned over to immigration authorities to determine whether she may be deported.  (link)
