The French authorities are dealing what they feel may be a “copy cat” attack against one of their active duty military members on “anti-terrorism” patrol in a crowded Paris street on Saturday.  The soldier was attacked from behind with a box-cutter – the same tool used in the 9-11 hijackings that brought down the World Trade Center.  While the US media remains silent, the UK’s Daily Mail helpfully reports:

A uniformed French soldier on anti-terrorist duties in Paris had his throat cut by a knife-wielding man tonight.

The savage attack follows the murder of a British soldier by two men using weapons including knives and a meat cleaver. One of the suspects said they were acting in the name of Islam.

Today there were fears that the Paris attack was a copy-cat crime and that a radical Muslim might once more be responsible.

Police in the French capital described the attacker as a being ‘bearded, of North African origin and wearing a light coloured jihab’ under a jacket.

APRIL 27th 2013 –  It was revealed for the first time today that the body of murdered Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens was recovered by a secret two man Special “Ops” team that was not affiliated with any of the other security entities involved in the Benghazi attack..

This team, acting under their own initiative and armed with their own weapons, undertook this mission despite very little intelligence available for this exceedingly hostile and volatile environment. The information came to light this morning on WVOX’s Vernuccio/Allison radio show.

(Via Campus Reform)  The U.S. government is working to murder 2 to 3 billion people worldwide using genetically altered food and depleted uranium bombs, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan told students at a school-hosted speech at Tuskegee University late last month.

[Hat Tip WeaselZippers] LIBYA – Libyan Islamists detained 48 Egyptian Christians in Benghazi last week, torturing them and using acid to burn off tattoos of the cross, according to family members. The Christians, who are peddlers, were arrested by Islamist Salafists in Benghazi, who said they had Christian icons at their marketplace stalls, according to Mideast Christian News.

The men were later reportedly freed and await deportation, but their family members back home told the Egyptian press they were abused while held, initially on charges of proselytizing. “When the residents of the village told me that he was imprisoned, I embraced his sons and told them they would not see their father again,” Fardoos Salib, the mother of Coptic farmer Atif Kamel, told Egyptian newspaper al-Watan. Turkey, once a key ally of Israel before Erdogan took office, is calling on Syria to attack Israel as retaliation for the Israeli pre-emptive bombing of chemical weapons depots in Syria.   ….. You know that neighborhood jackwagon who is always looking to instigate trouble,…. well, that’s Turkey now in Obama’s term(s)….

TURKEY – Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu slammed Israel’s alleged strike in Syria, urging Damascus to retaliate, the Hurriyet news agency reported.

“Why didn’t (Bashar) Assad even throw a pebble when Israeli jets were flying over his palace and playing with the dignity of his country?” Davutoglu told reporters Saturday on his way to an international conference on Syria in Munich, which Defense Minister Ehud Barak is also expected to attend. What information would force Erdogan to make a move on Osama Bin Laden Jr?  A move that Erdogan does not want to make hot make because his Islamist colleagues will not be happy.    The answer is  HERE.

Several weeks ago when doing research into Denis McDonough, Obama’s pick to be his Chief of Staff, we ran accross this older insightful comment from a former member of Chuck Hagel’s staff.   I book marked it to review again during the confirmation hearings. Wow, this former employee of his staff really hits the nail on the head.

At one time I worked in Senator Chuck Hagel’s office. I believe readers may be interested in my observations of Senator Hagel.

He has a limited educational background, and worked as a local broadcaster in Nebraska before getting his start as an aide to a Nebraska congressman in the 1970s. Before that, he fought in Vietnam, where he was seriously wounded. With his Capitol Hill background and war record, he obtained a high position in the Reagan administration’s Department of Veterans Affairs. Then he had some friends who were investing in the new cellular phone field; he sold his car to raise the funds to invest with them. That’s how he became a millionaire.
