WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Saturday promised that “explosive” congressional hearings over the Benghazi, Libya attacks are on the way.

“There are more Benghazi hearings coming, I think they’re going to be explosive,” Gowdy said on Fox News.

Gowdy, a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said the hearings are going to be “coming quickly” and seemed to hint that the public might for the first time hear from witnesses to the September assault that left four Americans dead. (more…)

We call it “his money” because in the world of all things progressive they view wealth, or income, as belonging to the State.   Progressives in a larger sense view wealth as a static amount of available resource, a single pie to be divided – the Scarcity mentality.

Therefore all production value, the income earnings of your labor, actually belongs to the State, and they alone will determine how much of their money you are allowed to receive.  It is, in its most direct sense, the essential tenet of fabial-socialism;  Which is, as you know, the essential ideology of modern progressives (Democrats or Liberals defined).

WASHINGTON – President Obama’s 2014 budget calls for a trillion dollars in new taxes, almost twice as much as previously thought, The Washington Examiner has learned.

“Of the more than $1 trillion in new taxes, about $800 billion is raised through the individual income tax system, about $125 billion comes from new excise taxes — including new taxes on tobacco and financial companies,” a source familiar with the president’s budget explained. “The remainder comes from reverting back to the 2009 estate tax parameters and other miscellaneous tax increases.” […]   (link)

FACT:  The last federal budget actually signed into law took place in September of 2007 for fiscal year 2008.  It was signed by President Bush.

FACT:  Since then, and due to the Democrat party spending objectives, not a single day of the Obama administration has been with any budget restrictions at all.

FACT:  The ‘spend at will’ Democrats had full control of both houses of congress and the White House for Fiscal Years 2009, 2010, 2011 and they never passed a budget.   The Senate never even proposed one, and the Obama budget proposal only got 2 votes in 2011, and -ZERO- votes in 2012. (more…)

…. President Obama was forced this morning to sit stoically at the National Prayer Breakfast while a world-renown pediatric surgeon who dragged himself up from poverty recounted his story, espousing conservative values and policies as a means of healing the nation and its poor. (link)

We have written, researched, shared, discussed and dissected the “Decepticons” at great length.   Decepticons are Deceptive Conservatives.  

Many people are familiar with the term “RINO”, Republican in Name Only.  But that is NOT a Decepticon.   RINO’s are openly anti-constitution, anti-freedom and self-interested Big Government types (See John McCain and Lyndsey Graham).  Occasionally RINO’s align with freedom principles over issues like Benghazi.  But in general RINO’s are totally comfy with the TSA, The Patriot Act, and other freedom reducing aspects of big government.

Decepticons on the other hand, are the back-stabbing sneaky types; manipulative Super-Rino’s, or RINO’s on steroids sitting in Corinthian Leather chairs, drinking taxpayer-funded cognac, eating sandwiches without crusts, wearing pinky rings and plotting how to manipulate, and yet keep their machinations hidden.   Karl Rove, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Orin Hatch are examples of Decepticons. Chris Matthews says President Obama’s inaugural address comparable to Abraham Lincoln.   Time magazine says Obama talks in terms too complex for the ordinary earthly person to understand.   The Congressional Black Caucus says Obama is fulfilling the Martin Luther King legacy with Obamacare as an example.    NBC’s Brian Williams says Michelle Obama is the most fascinating woman since Jackie Kennedy.

President Obama’s campaign director, David Plouffe, says that Washington, and this nation, is not worthy of a man as great as Barack Obama and the opportunity he presents.  Newsweek has declared President Obama as the second coming of Jesus Christ.

WASHINGTON DC – The White House has informed House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) that it will miss the legal deadline for sending a budget to Congress. […] “Late Friday evening, Deputy Director Zients confirmed that for the fourth time in five years, the president’s budget will not be submitted in compliance with the law,” the aide said.  (article)

Yet today President Obama presents his administration as concerned about the fiscal state of the union, and declares “we are not a deadbeat nation”.

There’s really not a lot you can debate about when the disparity between people is this large.   Polar Opposites actually – you could not get more distant than Obama/Reid/Pelosi and anyone who cares about the fiscal spending insanity.

WASHINGTON — House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) urged the president on Sunday to drop his resistance to the idea and simply bypass the upcoming debate over raising the debt ceiling by deeming the entire cap unconstitutional.

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Pelosi offered her strongest endorsement to-date of the 14th Amendment option, which holds that Congress doesn’t have the power to use the debt ceiling as a hostage-taking device because the validity of the debt “shall not be questioned.”  (read more)

I mean, seriously, what are you supposed to do when the President of The United States is operating his fiscal programs without a budget, borrows $4 billion per day,  running $1+ Trillion annual deficits, and our nation is nearly $17 trillion in debt.  Yet he proclaims “we do not have a spending issue”. I am tempted, VERY tempted, to take a trip down to DC and challenge New Jersey, New York Republicans on this issue on camera…..  weighing logistics and timing, but the vote is Friday…..

Chris Christie is not, repeat NOT, a conservative – He is a progressive.   He just wailed, screamed, protested, begged, belittled and held out his tin cup on TV for federal money to bail out New Jersey from Hurricane Sandy.    He continually used the term New Jersey “innocent victims”…  well, exactly what other kind of victim is there?

First, there is a big difference between feeling empathy and sympathy for those in the affected areas, and seeing lives impacted by the overwhelming force of mother nature.  I feel sorry for them to have felt the brunt of such a storm, and now for so many to have to rebuild their lives.   But to watch people begging the federal government to “make them whole” is  the ultimate in-your-face nanny statist expectation.

Since when does the federal government have a role in mitigating risk and underwriting personal decisions? (more…)
