Giddy Up… Here It Comes: White House Officials Say Obama To Move “Quickly” On Gun Control And Full Immigration Reform… (Strike While The Iron Is Hot)….

In case you were wondering what “quickly means” in the mind of President Obama  allow me to give you a few recent (last 48 hrs) examples, you decide:

victory - obama

#1 )  The Senate was forced to vote on New Years Day, at 2:00am, for the “Fiscal Cliff Bill” exactly THREE, count them, 3 minutes after receiving it.   That means they had exactly 1.16 seconds to read each of the 154 pork-loaded pages, and analyze the “budget score.   (Bill pdf)

#2)  From the Golf Course, by Dictatorial Fiat, President Obama, through the Department of Homeland Security, granted immediate amnesty to current illegal aliens effective March 4th.   […] illegal immigrants who can demonstrate that time apart from an American spouse, child or parent would create “extreme hardship,” can start the application process for a legal visa without leaving the U.S.  […] The change is the latest move by the administration to use its executive powers to revise immigration procedures without Congress passing a law. PREVIOUSLY,  In August, the Obama administration launched a program to halt the deportation of young people brought to the U.S. unlawfully as children.

So what exactly do you expect with his recent promise of “fundamental change” for gun ownership against the backdrop of a new promise to “move quickly”?….

Obama meet the pressSomething fundamental in America has to change,” said Obama, who visited on December 16 with families of victims of the Newtown, Connecticut, school shootings.  (link)

The president said Sunday he will put forth a proposal next year to change firearm laws.  [we now know he plans to have it completed by the end of January – his first month]

Wishful Thinking? Report: Boehner Will Either Resign Speakership Or Be Forced Out Tomorrow…

*sigh* If only……

JOhn Boehner - Media(CNS NEWS)  I have confirmed with a group of Congressmen that House Speaker John Boehner will not be reelected Speaker tomorrow.

He will either resign or be forced out tomorrow.

Only 17 members are needed to block Speaker Boehner’s election tomorrow. A Speaker needs an absolute majority of all votes cast for a specific person. (more…)

Cronyism Running Amok – Pork….. Pork….. Pork…. Spending ! Spending ! Spending !

The media is drumming the beat of “Sandy Relief” all day in their insufferable effort to ridicule the House of Representatives for failing to “Bail Out” New York and New Jersey. Why? Because they will NEVER want to expose the pork stuffed into the “fiscal cliff deal”….

undefined(Via ABC News) The “fiscal cliff” compromise has been heralded as a saving grace for middle class taxpayers, their families and the unemployed.

But buried in the fine print of the 150-page deal are also some lesser-known New Year’s gifts to some of Washington’s favorite industries. […]

The mix of tax perks covering the next year, but with budget implications for the next two years includes everything from incentives for employers to hire veterans to incentives for employers to invest in mine safety. But it also includes these:

  • $430 million for Hollywood through “special expensing rules” to encourage TV and film production in the United States.  Producers can expense up to $15 million of costs for their projects. (more…)

Update Fiscal Cliff – House Vote Soon : Word is Out The CBO Cost of Senate Bill is $4 Trillion: House Switchboard (202-224-2131)

89 to 8 – Marco Rubio and Rand Paul Among Eight Senators Who Could Not Deny Their Principles…

But most Republicans were spineless twits…. as expected (vote tally at bottom).

“Mark my word, you’ll raise tax rates and you feel good because you went out there and you got those rich people. You said you were.  You campaigned against rich people.  And you got enough envy whipped up in the country. And you’re going to stick it to those rich people.  But guess what?  You may not get any more revenue.  You may not get anymore economic growth.  But you can say, “I stuck it to the rich people.””

marco_rubio_hiresSenator Marco Rubio of Florida says the Senate’s fiscal-cliff compromise, which passed the upper chamber early Tuesday, was a political mistake.

“I just couldn’t vote for it,” Rubio told reporters. “I ran, just two years ago, on the idea that I wanted to be part of solving the long-term problems this country faces. Time and again, we’re given choices here that don’t involve that.” (more…)

2:00am New Years Fiscal Vote Passes Senate – By Any Means Neccessary – Now To The House….

FLASHBACK – It was 1:33 am Christmas Eve 2009 when Obamacare legislation was manipulated through the Senate by Harry Reid…… Crisis Control, with the emphasis on control, because he did not want Senators returning home only to have them witness the ire of their constituency because 70% of Americans were against their action…

Reid-Schumer

So fast forward to the faux-Fiscal Cliff Crisis of 2012, and once again Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid keeps the Senators sequestered while he manipulates another legislative construct fraught with flaws, schemes, and manipulations in the dead of night….

The Crisis Bill contains $41 dollars in more spending for every $1 in new taxes, and he, along with President Obama are proud of that…..

and already spiking the football in the face of Republicans claiming they historically forced the Republicans to break their tax pledge and raise taxes…… (more…)

A Grassroots Positive Outcome To End The Year….. More of this is needed for 2013….

flagskyThis is my flag.  We call her “Old Glory”.  She is the flag of the United States of America.

This is my flag.   These are my colors.  I will not honor any other flag, nor recognize the need for any other.

This is my flag.  I will stand beside all those patriots who will defend her.

I will never surrender this flag, nor my country.   Never!…..  Sundance.

Mark Levine(Via American Spectator)  The Boehner Tax increase he called it.  After weeks of taking on Republican House Speaker John Boehner over Boehner’s insistence on trying to make a deal over taxes with President Obama, by the night of December 20 — as House Republicans were being pounded by the GOP leadership to vote that very night for Boehener’s “Plan B” — the backlash dam finally broke on Mark Levin’s radio show.

[…]  It’s worth going back to the evening of December 20 to note something that was overlooked as the Christmas holiday overtook the news on the defeat — by House Republicans — of Boehner’s Plan B.

As Levin’s show went live at 6pm Eastern, he opened with a sharp, passionate look at Republicans on the verge of rejecting longtime conservative principle — not to mention basic economics — by raising taxes. (more…)

In Your Face America ! President Obama New Years Eve Message on Fiscal Cliff…

Obama just had what was possibly the most insulting press event I’ve ever seen from a President — I’ll post the video when available, it will infuriate you.  But force yourself to watch it.

He spiked the football, overtly insulted Republicans and Congress, and laughed that he is on the verge of getting what he wants. Either he wants to nix any deal, or he’s actually just enjoying his victory but is emotionally incapable of being presidential about it. Everything you ever wanted to know about our dysfunctional government was on display.

It is disheartening to continually read, listen to and watch conservatives failing to recognize what is happening right in front of their face. President Obama is rapidly taking us to a place of no return. Some might actually argue we are already there. I would be hard pressed to disagree with them. Consider these facts: (more…)

Wrong Answer: They Just Don’t get it…. Nor Will They – It’s Up To YOU !!

What do Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, The RNC, Mitt Romney, Wayne La Pierre,  The NRA and NRA President David Keene have in common?

They don’t know their enemy, nor how to fight back against them.   They are insufferably out of touch, out of sync, and have no rhythm because they are all operating on broken historical paradigms.

Consider this latest round of NRA pushback as summed up by Jim Hoft in this headline at Gateway Pundit:

NRA Mocks Feinstein’s Ignorant Gun-Ban Bill: Next She’ll Want to Add “Nuclear Bomb” to Banned Gun Features –    “Mocking“?  Strong in the stupid force is this crew.   Hoft puts a link to the NRA article which includes:

Feinstein’s 1994 ban listed “grenade launcher” as one of the prohibiting features for rifles. Her 2013 bill carries goes even further into the ridiculous, by also listing “rocket launcher.” Such devices are restricted under the National Firearms Act and, obviously, are not standard components of the firearms Feinstein wants to ban. Perhaps a subsequent Feinstein bill will add “nuclear bomb,” “particle beam weapon,” or something else equally far-fetched to the features list(link)

This is the same insufferable mindset behind the “oh, no they can’t“, “they wouldn’t“, “that’s impossible“, approach toward legislative manipulations: (more…)

S.P.E.N.D.I.N.G P.R.O.B.L.E.M. – Feds Deficit Spend/Borrow $4,800,000,000.00 per day ($4.8 Billion)

Humor in NatureYet for some insufferable reason the truth of this fiscal insanity cannot penetrate the blood brain barrier of infected congresscritters.

(CNSNews.com) – The federal government ran a deficit of $292 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2013 – October and November 2012 – amounting to $4.8 billion of borrowed money each day.

“The federal budget deficit was $292 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2013, $57 billion more than the shortfall recorded in October and November of last year,” CBO said in its Monthly Budget Review Friday.

This means that the government borrowed $4.8 billion for each calendar day so far in 2013.

If the Treasury Department restricted its borrowing to only weekdays, its per day average would jump to $6.5 billion per day thus far in fiscal year 2013. CBO reported that federal revenues rose by $30 billion – a 10 percent increase over last year, but spending increased more, going up by $87 billion or 16 percent.  (more)
