(Via NBC News) When Marie was two years old, a woman in her village in Africa cut off her clitoris and labia. Now 34 and living thousands of miles away in New York, she is still suffering.
“I have so many problems, with my husband, with sex, with childbirth,” she told NBC News, withholding her real name to protect her identity. “The consequences on my life are all negative, both physically and psychologically.”
The practice of Female Genital Mutilation is common across much of Africa, where it is believed to ensure sexual purity before marriage. But Marie says FGM is also “very common” in some communities in America.
“The pressure to get daughters cut is great,” she said.

Disclaimer: Recent publications within the blogosphere paint a rather remarkable possibility. HOWEVER, what I’m outlining here is the connection of them, and NOT the validation of them.
That said, a recent EXPLOSIVE ASPECT is either a very sick mind at play who has a really good technical capacity to create a possibility, OR – the genuine, albeit frightening, event.

Y’all know what our initial take was. If you don’t well, go look through the 3 weeks of archives. When the possibility of a “false flag operation” was raised, we outlined specifically who would benefit from it, why they would do it, and why they would do it now.
This latest web-reporting development goes in the direction of that “false flag”.
It begins with the discovery of a picture uploaded to the web reported with the following headline: “IBM ENGINEER TAKEN FROM HIJACKED FLIGHT 370 GOT A SELFIE OUT TO THE INTERNET” The article is HERE.
In essence the article says that MH-370 Passenger Philip Wood was able to post a picture to the web on March 18th 2014 along with the text:
I have been held hostage by unknown military personal after my flight was hijacked (blindfolded). I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone in my ass during the hijack. I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly.
Erdogan declares victory in local elections, says enemies who have accused him of corruption “will pay for this.” http://t.co/kqLmcbs74A
— Jim Roberts (@nycjim) March 30, 2014
(Reuters) – Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan declared victory in local polls that had become a referendum on his rule and said he would “enter the lair” of enemies who have accused him of corruption and leaked state secrets. “They will pay for this,” he said.
Erdogan spoke from a balcony at his AK Party headquarters to thousands of cheering supporters as early results showed it winning some 44-46 percent of the vote, and the opposition CHP trailing with 23-28 percent.
Erdogan accuses a U.S.-based Islamic cleric, a former ally, of mounting a smear campaign using a network of followers in the police force to concoct a corruption case against him. In response he has purged the police force of thousands of members. (more…)
*tap*tap*tap,… *ahem*… Not to be all Captain Obvious, but what was the CIA Benghazi mission about again ?
The dots are all brutally obvious. Team Putin (Iran/Russia) squishing Team Bam-Bam in EU and Syria. In retort, Team Bam-Bam (Saudi Arabia/USA) poke eye of Assad. Bam-Bam’s BFF Erdogan (Turkey) openly planning false flag operation against Assad. …. and Who was Ambassador Stephens meeting with on 9/11/12 ? Uh huh.
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — (<– Huffington Post ) The Obama administration is considering allowing shipments of new air defense systems to Syrian rebels, a U.S. official said Friday.
President Barack Obama’s possible shift would likely be welcomed by Saudi Arabia, which has been pressing the White House to allow the man-portable air-defense systems, known as “manpads,” into Syria. Obama arrived in Saudi Arabia on Friday evening for meetings with King Abdullah.
Allowing manpads to be delivered to Syrian rebels would mark a shift in strategy for the U.S., which until this point has limited its lethal assistance to small weapons and ammunition, as well as humanitarian aid. The U.S. has been grappling for ways to boost the rebels, who have lost ground in recent months, allowing Syrian President Bashar Assad to regain a tighter grip on the war-torn nation. (more…)
Within 36 hours of Malaysian Flight #370 “going poof” our in-house aviation military expert [still active] said “watch the Maldives“.

Our response resembled the typical Tree House intellectual eloquence we are known for: “Huh“?
At the time everyone was looking at the China Sea and East, why the heck would this jackrabbit say “watch the Maldives”, and more importantly “where the heck are the Maldives”? Have another beer, borrow another $250, lets see if we can buy a vowel and get a clue.
International pesky GMT’s always hamper communication when you need it. It took several days of phone tag before we could interrupt the seemingly perpetual BBQ and ask the question: “why the Maldives“?

CALIFORNIA – State Sen. Leland Yee withdrew from the California secretary of state race Thursday, one day after his arrest on public corruption charges, his attorney said.
“This was a very personal decision on the part of the senator,” said Paul DeMeester, his attorney, at a news conference outside the federal courthouse in San Francisco. “This is what he wanted to do.” (link)

SAN FRANCISCO – If you thought the charges against Leland Yee would be bad, you had no idea. As in, he offered to set up an arms deal with Islamic rebels for $2 million in cash. As in, he has ties to a gangster named Shrimp Boy. As in, he makes corrupt state senator Clay Davis from The Wire look like George Washington.
You can read the whole affidavit here, but it’s really, really long, so we’ve gone ahead and pulled out the highlights. The allegations (and for now they are only that—allegations) are cinematic, staggering, and remarkable in their scope. Here they are, in descending order of sheeeeeeeeeeeit: (more…)
Sometimes it helps to pause and reflect, then evaluate for yourself:

IRAN – In 2009, from the now infamous Cairo Speech, an uprising of the student led “Green Movement” striving for a voice amid the heavy hand of hard-line Islamist governance began. President Obama chose to reach out to Iran’s leadership and ignored the calls for assistance from the young reformers. The Green Party was killed. The Mullahs reigned supreme. Through inaction Obama sided with the Islamists.

TUNISIA – (Where the West claimed the “Arab Spring” began) Tunis caught the global political elites off guard. It should not have come as a surprise. We were outlining the growing immigration powder keg for years. Tunis exploded as a consequence of Ben Ali and Quadaffi taking billions from the EU to shut the immigration gates.
Simultaneously, in the WEST, the more willing to engage ‘New Media’ began to report the speeches from UK, France and Germany that Multi-culturalism had failed. However, few connected the dots to Tunis and how the shutting of the North African gates created a bottleneck within Tunisia and Libya. It was simply a matter of time before economic anxiety exploded within the cultural petri-dish. It did, in a big way.

(Australia) […] (N)ew satellite images released yesterday found about 122 objects floating in the southern Indian Ocean.
HMAS Success remains in the search area about 2500 kilometres southwest of Perth and was joined by four Chinese ships — Xue Long, Kuulunshan, Haikon and Qiandaohu — in the search area. Two Royal Australian Air Force P3 Orions, a Japanese Gulfstream jet, a US Navy P8 Poseidon and a Japanese P3 Orion will fly sorties throughout the day.
Five civil aircraft will fly to the search area.

The objects detected by a French satellite, measuring from one metre to 23 metres long, were picked up four days ago and sent to the Australian search co-ordinators yesterday.
Some of the objects appeared to be bright in colour and possibly of solid material.

This article summed up in two words: “Allahu Akbar” !!
(Via UK Daily Mail) The pilot of doomed flight MH370 was devastated over his wife’s decision to move out of their family home, and could have taken the plane for a ‘last joyride’ before it crashed into the southern Indian Ocean killing all 239 people on board, says a long-time friend of the pilot.

The friend, also a pilot, said Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah didn’t appear to be in the right state of mind to be flying, warning that it was ‘very possible that neither the passengers nor the other crew on-board knew what was happening until it was too late’.

The Malaysian authorities are seemingly incapable of confronting the severity of the issues which would surround the disappearance of flight 370. Western media, trapped inside the zone of political correctness, are unwilling to dig through the obfuscation.
Islam and Radical Muslim issues around a hijacking are far too disconcerting for the central Asian authorities to confront. They just don’t want *that* conversation.
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — It was the unwelcome, anguishing news that families of the missing had dreaded, and when they heard it from Malaysia’s prime minister Monday night there were shrieks and intense heartbreak: The missing Malaysian Airlines flight whose fate was a mystery that consumed the world had crashed into a remote corner of the Indian Ocean.
Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak , left, and acting transport minister Hishammuddin Hussein speak during the press conference for the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, MH370
The news, based on fresh evidence gleaned from an unprecedented analysis of satellite data, meant it was all but impossible that any of the 239 passengers and crew on board the jetliner could have survived.
