CNN Democrat Debate – Open Discussion Thread….

Anderson Cooper (moderator) promises to go easy on the Democrat candidates:

dem debate 2

CNN’s Anderson Cooper will moderate the first Democratic presidential debate this week, and unlike the previous Republican debate hosted by CNN, Cooper said he won’t be encouraging confrontations between the candidates.

I’m always uncomfortable with that notion of setting people up in order to kind of promote some sort of a face off,” Cooper said Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” “Look, these are all serious people. This is a serious debate. They want to talk about the issues and I want to give them an opportunity to do that.

Cooper’s suggested style is a departure from the GOP debate hosted by CNN and moderated by Jake Tapper in September.  Before that debate, Tapper had said he was “trying to craft questions that, in most cases, pit candidates against the other.” (link)

Tripwire Alert – National Poll: Donald Trump Beats Hillary Clinton 45% – 40%…

Fox News has released portions of an embargoed national poll (pdf below).  Within the poll the reality of Hillary Clinton’s lack of electability surfaces.

The important aspect is not the data itself, Hillary’s weakness is brutally obvious for anyone who has followed the maneuvering of the financial power brokers who control the funding of election outcomes, ie. Wall Street.  The important aspect is the media being willing to publicly show it – That’s the Tripwire!

As said, it’s not the data per se’, you have to step back and think about the larger narrative as it has been continually presented by the media. (more…)

Seeking Distance – Jeb Bush Spokesman on Audience Plant: “Lauren Is Not A Staffer”…

The discovery that an antagonistic female questioner, Ms. Lauren Batchelder, (during a “No Labels” event yesterday) is actually a campaign worker for Jeb Bush, has created a rather embarrassing political situation for candidate Bush.

In an effort to draw distance from the brutally obvious set-up, Governor Jeb Bush lead spokesman Tim Miller is now claiming Batchelder is not a campaign staffer:

Busted ! CNN Uses Jeb Bush Staffer Planted In Audience To Frame Donald Trump Narrative/Hit Job….

During an appearance at a Jon Huntsman / The Hill “No Labels” event, a female audience member named Lauren Batchelder played the role of a female antagonist toward candidate Donald Trump.

However, Ms. Batchelder is not just an average audience member.  She’s a paid political operative of the GOP and a paid staff member of Team Jeb Bush:

Within minutes of her scripted performance at the event, the producers of CNN were quickly editing soundbites and framing a narrative.  That story was pushed into the media stream within hours.  CNN’s Jeanne Moos was the delivery vehicle for the a hit piece.

Here’s the CNN narrative as presented yesterday:

However, as previously noted, it didn’t take long to discover that Lauren Batchelder was not just an ordinary audience member, she is actually a current staffer for Senator Kelly Ayotte and also working in New Hampshire on behalf of the Jeb Bush 2016 campaign.

Batchelder’s LinkedIn profile shows she is a Jeb Bush For President 2016 staffer.

Given Senator Ayotte’s position being pro-life, and contrasted against the framework of Ms. Batchelder’s line of questioning being completely opposite of the boss(es) she is working for, it doesn’t take long to figure out this was a planted Establishment GOPe hit job targeting Donald Trump:

“Cold Anger” ACTION ALERT – RNC/GOPe Changing Delegate Distribution Rules….

This is an ACTION ALERT for those of you following the RNC/GOPe road map and actively engaged in following the maneuvers within the Republican Party.

Previously we shared the RNC rule changes which modified all primary elections between March 1st and March 14th 2016 to make delegate distributions “Proportional” based on a percentage of the vote.  All contests held on or after March 15th 2016 were then winner-take-all (or some assembly therein).

GOP primary 2

The construct of the 2014/2015 rule changes were specifically created to make the pathway for Jeb Bush and block any candidate who was able to garner a “movement” coalition, or what the RNC called a “momentum candidate” (ie. Non-Jeb)  To assist in that endeavor the GOPe road map entailed a “splitter strategy” to fracture the vote and create the pathway for Jeb Bush.

However, as most are well aware, since Donald Trump entered the race the RNC/GOPe road map was thrown off track and modifications to the original plan have been ongoing over the past several months. (more…)

Democrat National Committee Tells Their Own Vice-Chair Not To Attend Debate…

The DNC has told their own Vice-Chairwoman to skip the Las Vegas debate because she was non-compliant in expressing that she believed in more debates.

The New York Times is reporting representative Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii,  said she was disinvited (polite word for banned) from the first Democratic presidential primary debate in Nevada after she appeared on television and called for more debates.

DNC vice chairDebbie Wasserman Schultz

New York Times […]  Ms. Gabbard confirmed on Sunday that her chief of staff received a message last Tuesday from the chief of staff to Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the chairwoman of the national committee, about her attendance at the debate. A day earlier, Ms. Gabbard had appeared on MSNBC and said there should be an increase beyond the current six sanctioned debates.

[…] The person close to the committee insisted: “She was not uninvited. The D.N.C. team wanted this first debate to have all the focus on the candidates. Gabbard’s people were told that if they couldn’t commit to that, since Tulsi was trying to publicly divide the D.N.C. leadership last week, then they should consider not coming.” (more…)

Ted Cruz – The Reality of The Situation…

“Polarizing” is a descriptive term used by a pontificating media to disparage various elements they find antithetical to their own worldview.  Generally, when the term is used it is wrongly assigned. However, in the case of Ted Cruz it’s unfortunately accurate.

When Jason Johnson sits down to discuss his pathway to the nomination with George Will, it says more about Jason Johnson than it does about those who read Will’s opinion of the aforementioned pathway.  What it essentially says is there’s a need to affirm something that isn’t factually supported by any measure of quantifiable empirical evidence.

Ted Cruz Value Voters Summit

However, when you look at the recent CBS survey result (discussed here) what you’ll identify is half of the Ted Cruz supporters themselves state they don’t think he is electable.  Hence, you find the motive for Cruz Campaign Strategist Mr. Jason Johnson to give the outline; fraught with intellectual dishonesty though it may be.

Yes, 10% of the Republican Primary Voters hold ‘most-favorable-status’ opinion of Ted Cruz, yet the number evaporates to 5% when asked “can he win”?  Ergo the Cruz dilemma.

The expressed “Cruz pathway” carries numerous contingencies requiring an electorate to travel with the Cruz team on faith alone.  And yes, that’s an intended double entendre, because faith is the underlying element of the entire campaign.  (Insert first alarm bell here). (more…)
