Josh Earnest Talks TPP Deal – Potus Signature and Vote May Wait Until After 2016 Election…

~ Have Tar, Need Feathers ~

Politico is reporting that congressional leadership may not present the TPP deal for approval until after the 2016 election, during the lame duck session. Obviously this solidifies a particular reality all too common in Washington DC: If it is only politically safe to vote on the deal when no political election risk is evident, then you can be assured the deal is not in the best interest of the electorate.

Washington – Mike Sommers, chief of staff for Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), said at a Ripon Society meeting that Congress was unlikely to move on the massive trade package until a lame-duck session more than a year from now.

Hazen Marshall, policy director for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who was also at the session, agreed that a TPP vote was more likely to happen in a lame-duck session, and added that the White House was trying to work with congressional leaders on timing. (more…)

Considering the Nevada poll was conducted during/after Marco Rubio spent 4 days in the state, the Nevada results are devastating to the RNC/GOPe preferred narrative.   It cannot be emphasized enough how wide, deep and committed the Trump coalition is to his campaign.  (more…)

Precursor to Tripwire Alert Part II – The Election, Media and Wall Street Converge…

This analysis is the precursor to the second part of what was written here yesterday: the first part of the latest Fox News poll.

patriotWithin the prior analysis we shared:

“Don’t expect the remaining embargo data (most likely GOP polling data) to be favorable to Donald Trump.  Remember, there is a goal which never stops – THAT GOAL is the removal of Donald Trump at all costs.  Promoting Ben Carson and Marco Rubio (to a lesser extent Fiorina) remains the media strategy”. (link)

The goal behind that strategy is the nomination of Jeb Bush.

The second part of the poll is now released, and exactly as predicted it shows exactly what we said it would most likely contain.  However, in order to explain the content we first need to revisit the construct of why these events are surfacing with such intense predictability.

Simultaneously, it is also necessary to discuss and deconstruct another Fox Business report that John Kasich is being touted as a possible Vice-President pick by Donald Trump.  Both the Fox Poll agenda, and the Fox Business report agenda are tied to the same overarching goals.

Bear with me because, despite my earnest efforts, more than likely this analysis is necessarily going to go in the weeds, it’s unavoidable. (more…)
