Become Part Of The “Rebel Alliance”…. The Post-It Note Campaign

Several years ago patriots around the U.S. were disheartened by the overwhelming advancement of radical leftists. Then, as now, we maintained a common belief that Morale was key to defeating the ridiculous shift toward their “New America”. It is with this in mind a simple strategy can be effective at pushing back against an oppressive regime.

Via our Treeper Heroine YTZ4Me ( at StopShouting) Part of the charade employed by the existing Regime is to continue to make people believe they are alone in their dissent and/or dissatisfaction with the ruling class. They need to isolate you and make you feel YOU are the outlier. A recent example is the derision lobbed at those who questioned Obama’s spending and fiscal policies.

post it 6This has been written about extensively in various professional military training manuals. It has also been the subject of many papers, dissecting the evolution of an underground movement that overthrew an entrenched Regime, where to outsiders, the “sudden collapse” of an oppressive regime catches them by surprise, when in fact, it was predictable all along.

The reason for the “sudden collapse” is that the group knowledge finally reached a tipping point, where the “dissenters” realize that they are the MAJORITY, not the minority as the Regime would have them believe.

Sticky notes, as advocated at gas pumps and on stores shelves, represent what is known as “Counter propaganda”.

TEN RULES FOR LIBERTY GUERILLAS:

1. It is important to maintain a belief in final victory. Morale is everything.

2. Large numbers of [counter propaganda] appearing day after day, night after night, everywhere, will make the Regime nervous and raise the self-confidence of the population since such activities demonstrate the inefficiency of the existing Regime and the power and strength of the resistance movement.

3. Whenever practical, successful guerilla forces use non-electronic means to communicate.

4. It is a principle of political science that it is easier to persuade people to vote against something or someone than to persuade them to vote in favor of something.

5. Liberty guerillas form centers of resistance EVERYWHERE and they are always in action. Thus, when the Regime attempts to confront/solve one “media” crisis of anti-Regime opinion, another flares up. This serves to also drain the Regime’s manpower and resources.

6. Always, always, ALWAYS be on the offensive.

7. Short, snappy slogans spread the message. Advertising/marketing gurus know that to gain traction, a slogan must be 7 words or less.

“BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE”.

Turn the tables on the opposition: Palin’s “Obama: WTF indeed” is classic.

8. Mix it up. Never be predictable. But always be lawful.

9. Undermine the Regime’s morale and their propaganda by exposing their methods and by constant emphasis on the unjustness of their cause and effects on the population.
(Higher prices? Thanks, Obama).

10. Exploit the alternative media to communicate the ideas of the Liberty movement and resistance to the Regime. Be everywhere; be informed; make it known you are aware of the lies disseminated by the Regime and aren’t falling for them.

THE MOMENTUM IS ON OUR SIDE. Do not be deterred!

One of my long standing prayers has been, ‘ let the truth be known, regardless of who it exposes. Let the honest politicians be known for what they are doing, let the dishonest be known also. Regardless of party lines. The disturbing aspect of this prayer is that people have to be interested in the truth for it to have value in their lives. Therein I am seeing a problem.

Like those people whom, in a traffic stop, get shot reaching for their wallets. The perp (not victim, the ‘people’ were the victim) was shot as s/he tried to run over an officer/innocent people; perp made a furtive move towards his/her waistband; perp’s right shoulder drooped as officer approached his/her car, indicating to officer perp was going for a gun – the excuses are legend. Were a few of us wondering where the tasers were (all shot out from interrogating perps?) or why they didn’t use their cars to ram/PIT/boxer her in (no funds in budget for car repairs but funds for ammo).

Stella, that is Big question to ask when there are so many variables..you need to know how and what your 401k is invested in but chances are, you needn’t worry..Diversification is king, you need some/enough cash to carry you for minimum six months in case of snafu. You could rollover to self directed IRA in quality mutual funds – I like The Vanguard Fund family myself – partial to Founder, ole John Bogle who’s not really with but still has much pull. T.Rowe Price etc..remembver to keep maintenance fees below 1%..Your investments should be fine because Markets have been swimming in We Stimulus money and making new tops all year..that doesn’t mean it will go on forever tho. There will be a correction closer to “Debt Cieliing” battle coming up, but that will be a buy signal for many..Don’t forget to – as we, Mary and I mentioned – to “Pay Yourself First” by saving tons a bucks by cleaning up debts, paying things off, stay out of credit traps, do for yourself as much as possible, self sufficiency, frugality and common sense ..

I should have been more specific. My 401K is in cash and bonds right now – earning not much of anything, and I am retirement age right now. I also have a pretty good cash amount in checking and savings accounts. What maryfrommarin mentioned was the Greek government’s (also Cypriot banks, I believe) seizure of a portion of their bank accounts and retirement accounts. What could we do to avoid that?

Whoa Nellie ! Seizure is a bad scenario and fight in words to be sure.. You are not alone in the bond/income boat, many are that are retired, bummer !
You probably need to be diversified in dividend producing investments for income as well as a bit in bonds , money markets and cash (bank)… I hate to tell anyone to get into stocks (mutual funds) right now because the markets at highs (doing well) and I’m expecting ( have been expecting but not happened yet due to “Feds Easy Money” a correction (go down) when ” Debt Ceiling” battle begins but hey, this has been a baffling market to say the least ! Timing the Market has always been hard.
Still, IMHO, I think you should still diversify and be in stock Mutual Funds which you can do online easily..

                Stella,
After much reading, praying and soul searching, my husband and I sat down and talked. We talked about what if…, identified what would most impact our lives and what we could do to make ourselves feel more secure. While nothing is “safe” in our current environment, we did several things that increased our quality of life. A lot of this would not appeal to everyone but here goes. He’s retired, I’m not but I’m over 59 1/2. He has a small 401k. We paid down some bills and he took the opportunity to travel and spend time with his best friend. A small amount remains that will be used to do some repairs before we sell our house next year.

We took most of the money that we could from my 403B. The remainder is in the most conservative mix the company offers. We paid cash for a small farm and we’re using as much as I can withdraw to do improvements – an orchard, a tractor, repairs on the house & barn, etc. We’ll move to the farm full time when we sell our house in town. We hope to have enough that we can buy a small house in town so we can split our time between the two. (After living through the riots in the 60’s, being stuck in a city is one of my fears these days.)

We have silver stored in a number of places, as well as cash and silver coins. We kept 2 checking accounts and a couple small money market accounts for quick access in case of an emergency, divided between a bank and credit union. We pay cash for as much as we can.

Funny thing is, we’ve found that a lot of our friends and family are also preparing for unrest in the future. Everyone is approaching it in a slightly different way depending on personal needs and age. The most common things are paying off all debt, removing money from banks/retirement plans into gold or silver and switching to an all cash lifestyle. Don’t know if this helps.

                • Stella, This is what I have done not trusting mostly the stock market and the banks (somewhat). I rolled my IRA’s into a self directed IRA, set up an LLC’s and bought real estate/rental property. I rent out the property for income that goes directly into the IRA so it is tax deferred or tax free in a Roth IRA. I have check book control of the money coming in and can buy more property, silver or gold or invest in it the stock market. When I turn 59 1/2 I can use the rent money coming in to support myself without touching the principal I have invested in the real estate. I have bought in areas (Idaho) where you can buy something relatively cheap to rent out. My criteria is 9-10% ROI. but so far I am averaging 15-16% ROI. The real estate has also appreciated.

                • There are also fractional gold weights available, not coins – weights. If you buy gold there will be no way you can spend it if the lights go out, and dropping a 1 oz coin on bread is crazy. So there is a program that breaks it up into grams for you to store at home, I believe. Karatbars i think. This is the same reason that many choose the lesser metals.

Gold isn’t for everyone though, and the boom has seemed to come down, so you have to be careful and make sure it’s right, but again if the lights go out, and they seize assets, then the dollar will just be toilet paper with faces on it.

Does anybody remember the lady senator that said we should not have control of our 401k’s when the market corrected back in 2008? I personally see that as foreshadowing, and with all the assets wrapped up in peoples retirement, there are certain government officials that are foaming at the mouth to get their hands on something like that. A few trillion, I think.

A good well and good fishing and hunting nearby. Hopefully the electric grid will not go but be prepared anyways. Goods will be scarce because the demand will exceed supply because the producers can’t make profit. Shipments will be promised but never arrive. If they do arrive lines will be long. I have seen this in the 3rd world and unless Obama is stopped it will be here. People are now starting to see direct effect from Obamacare. It will get worse as the adverse selection continues in all areas of the economy. After all Socialism is adverse selection.
