Trump: "We either have a country or we don't" – Sessions: "Election Offers Simple Choice"…

trump and sessions(Senator Jeff Sessions Op-Ed) – For the first time in a long time, this November will give Americans a clear choice on perhaps the most important issue facing our country and our civilization: whether we remain a nation-state that serves its own people, or whether we slide irrevocably toward a soulless globalism that treats humans as interchangeable widgets in the world market.
In Donald Trump, we have a forceful advocate for America. Trump has said that our trade, immigration and foreign policies must be changed to protect the interests of American workers and our nation. (more…)

Gnats and Irrelevant Nuts – The Economically Dissonant Opposition…

Beyond the larger context of Globalists VS Nationalists, the internal opposition to Common Sense economic conservatism/nationalism can be fundamentally broken down into two categories:

♦  The first group are those who are fundamentally naive about large and historic economic issues; and how the economy was changed, forced to change, through the past forty years by financial interests who created a second, “false“, paper economy.
This first group is generally young, pseudo-intellectual, and their only reference has been while formally educated within the last thirty years (they’re under 50).   Most of the oppositional (conservative) punditry falls into this category.  Important to note, this group is also joined by the majority of politicians who are approximately the same age.

♦  The second group are those who truly know better; they are older and wiser, they know the truth because they saw it unfold.  However, they are also financially dependent on retention of a narrative that sold the change in the past 40 years.  These are the willfully blind who have sold-out to the benefit of, and enrichment from, the false economy.
This second group is intent on retaining a historic set of false assumptions by fraud and deception.  Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Chris Matthews and Hugh Hewitt fit into this second grouping.  Their framework echo-chambered and passed down to group #1.

Honduran Woman Brutally Beaten By Mexican Smugglers Attempting To Rape 11-year-old Daughter…

Last year one presidential candidate pointed out the brutal reality of Mexican rapists and human smuggling at the U.S. Mexico border….
honduras 1LA GRULLA, Texas  ̶̶  Agents apprehended a woman and her 11-year old daughter late Saturday night. The woman, a Honduran national, told Border Patrol agents she was robbed and beaten by smugglers after she refused to let them rape her 11-year-old daughter.

The Honduran national, traveling with her cousin and her daughter, told agents that two smugglers floated them across the Rio Grande on a raft. Once on the American side, the smugglers threatened to rape her daughter.
The woman protected her child by attempting to fight them off. The two smugglers then pinned her down and repeatedly punched her in the face and stomach as her daughter watched screaming and crying. (more…)

Donald Trump Meets With DC Leadership Who Cannot Produce Budget – Omnibus Ryan Holds Presser…

There are inherent ideological differences in policy between Donald Trump and Paul Ryan. Trump representing the will of the electorate, and Paul Ryan representing the will of the GOPe party establishment. (more…)

Mr. Trump Goes To Washington…

Lets be politically and intellectually honest. At the scheduled meeting today between Donald Trump and Paul Ryan, Speaker Ryan needs Trump more than Nominee Trump needs Ryan.
A strong argument can be made Ryan set up last weeks media construct, including the call to Jake Tapper requesting a CNN interview, to retain his own relevance.

eat-your-own-damn-peas1House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan

Against a growing electoral insurgency openly dismissing the Omnibus version of conservatism represented by Ryans’ inept and ineffective and self-centered leadership, Lyin’ Ryan could soon to be seated at the pouty table if he doesn’t seem important.
The pouty table is currently occupied by the dispatched professionally irrelevant members of congress (identified by their hashtag profiles).  Hashtag Gnats sitting together with most current radio talk show hosts, and almost all of the beltway punditry and opinion writers.  However, there’s still plenty of room for more. Oh my goodness.  Mr. Lou Dobbs just lit the fuse on Paul Ryan’s ‘splodey vest…
Rupert Murdoch will probably fine Dobbs for this one:

Paul Manafort Interview on Election Night and State of The Race – (With Bonus Video)…

Great interview with Paul Manafort.  [Chris Matthews is an insufferable dolt 99% of the time.  Then there’s the 1% of the time when he’s an ordinary dolt.]

Chris Matthews responses to Manafort in this interview made me remember a rather large forum speech Matthews gave about Trump in the fall of 2015.
It is really well worth watching. In the video below Chris Matthews is speaking to an exclusive DC based audience of limo-liberals.
The Aspen Institute Washington Forum has an average audience member income $850k /yr.  That’s about $15,000 per week.  (These are the beltway people paying $5k to have their Christmas Trees decorated professionally each year).
We’ve previously mentioned how disconnected the DC, MD and VA beltway communities are. In this video the elites are trying to understand what’s going on in flyover country amid the rubes. Matthews is explaining to them who those torch carrying vulgarians are.

The Nuttery of Identity Politics – Gender Edition…

Sometimes you might find yourself having an imaginary conversation with the insufferable moonbat pundits on TV:

hillary stroke 2

• Pundit: Candidate Donald Trump has a woman problem…
SD: But he’s winning large majorities of women voters in the primary and polling.
• Pundit: That’s only Republican women…
SD: Well, actually Republican and Independent women, but that’s women.
• Pundit: But he needs to win women in the General Election…
SD: He’s winning women so far.
• Pundit: But that’s only republican women.
SD: Republican and Independent women are general election voters...
• Pundit: But that’s only republican and independent women.
SD: So, you’re saying he needs to win non-Republican women, Democrat women?
• Pundit: Yes, exactly.
SD: Are you saying Democrat women are going to vote for a Republican?
• Pundit: No, heavens no. Of course they’re not.
SD: So why should he change message to appeal to a constituency with no intention of voting for him?
• Pundit: Well, um… because.
SD: Thanks. Carry on.

One of the best Trump attributes in the current political season is his ability to campaign on common sense. Unfortunately for the media enterprise, this makes much of their influential punditry seem silly. It’s not a matter of Donald Trump defying the intellectual logic of the professional political class; it’s more a matter of just plain common sense.

Paul Ryan Presser: "We come from two different wings of the party"…

House Speaker Paul Ryan answered a few questions from reporters today about the upcoming meeting with republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.  One of the continuing phrases Ryan repeats is his belief that he and Trump come from two different wings of the party:

Speaker Ryan’s response highlights the 2016 electoral shift.  A ‘common sense’ conservative movement (wing) is focused on fiscal responsibility and solutions. While the preferred Ryan (big government wing of progressive UniParty) constructs focus on Wall Street’s legislative agenda. (more…)
