Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made her first public appearance since she conceded the 2016 election to Donald Trump last week:

Looking a little sketchy, Secretary Clinton was being honored by by the Children’s Defense Fund, and admitted she had a difficult time attending the event tonight due to her deep disappointment in the election results. (video below)

LONDON (Reuters) – Gold eased on Wednesday as the dollar climbed to a 14-year high against a currency basket, extending a week-long rally driven by a surge in Treasury yields after Donald Trump’s election to the U.S. presidency.
The metal has shed more than $100 an ounce from last Wednesday’s post-election high on the back of the sharp rise in bond yields and burgeoning appetite for risk.
Most Americans cannot fathom how fundamentally earth-shattering the Donald Trump administrative architecture is to the professional political class.
“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones”
Almost every American understands the existence of a corrupt DC UniPary apparatus because they feel the consequences daily. However, most do not fully understand the cause of that corruption because it has become so deep-rooted and systemic.

There are multiple stories surfacing about the President-Elect Trump transition team rebuking donors and lobbyists from influence – HERE and HERE – but it cannot be overstated just how devastating this concept is to the thousands of professional political affiliates dependent on generational scheme and graft; including corporate media.
For decades the Wall Street legislative priorities have starved the middle class to the benefit of Corporate Wall Street’s own indulgence. The reversal of this process is literally threatening their existence and removing trillions of dollars from their control.

President-Elect Donald Trump did not start the credibility decline of main stream media, he simply greased the rails to speed up their irrelevance…
(Via Washington Post) The Spanish-language media giant Univision Communications will lay off almost 6 percent of its workforce — between 200 and 250 people — after it slipped into the red last quarter, the company announced Wednesday.

The layoffs, along with a planned restructuring, “are in response to difficult times, challenging times,” Isaac Lee, Univision’s digital, entertainment and news chief, told The Washington Post in his first public comments on the moves. “We need to position ourselves for the future.”

A report from Fox News implies President-Elect Donald Trump is considering Texas Senator Ted Cruz for the position of Attorney General. –STORY HERE–

There’s a great deal of political irony in this possibility. Most of you know our research indicated the entire reason Ted Cruz ran for the Senate in 2011 was because he was rebuked by the Bush clan as inexperienced, over-reaching and thinking too highly of himself, when he wanted to be considered for the AG position by George Dubya.

In the continuing media saga/melt-down over President-Elect Donald Trump’s audacity to eat a meal in a restaurant with his family we find the following quote from former Obama administration spokesperson Tommy “Dude” Vietor:

Former Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor emails:
The White House Correspondents Association has to be ready to respond much more forcefully if Trump continues to ignore long-standing traditions of press access. That’s especially true for the five network bureau chiefs who hold most of the power.
I’d like to see them publicly detail their expectations as well as the potential repercussions if those demands continue to be ignored.
President-Elect Donald Trump went out to a steakhouse for dinner with his family this evening, and a wounded media completely melt down because they were not invited:

New York – Donald Trump ditched his press entourage to eat dinner with his family in a famous New York steak house – and was met with a standing ovation.
Trump slipped away from the press pack that usually follows him to dine at the exclusive 21 Club, located four blocks from Trump Tower.
It’s the first time he’s left the tower since he returned from Washington, DC on Thursday, and his surprise visit was met with applause from diners at 21 Club (link)

A report in the Huffington Post outlines some tremors within the activist civil rights division of the Department of Justice following the election:
(Via HuffPo) […] Former DOJ official Jonathan Smith, whose work included the Civil Rights Division’s investigation into widespread unconstitutional behavior by the Ferguson Police Department, said he suspects many attorneys within the division are already preparing to depart.
“My guess is that [Wednesday], half the division spent the day fixing up their resumes,” he said. “I expect that you’re going to see, starting almost immediately, an outflow of very committed lawyers who are going to look for other ways to make a contribution and to not stick through a Trump administration.”
“I’m very concerned about what’s going to happen to the Civil Rights Division and the progress that’s been made on critical issues around criminal justice,” he added. “It’s really quite terrifying.”
