Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says she will not seek re-election:

“We all know that this is a very critical time in our city; many important decisions lie ahead, both in recovering from April’s unrest and managing our city through the multiple trials that are coming up. Over the past few months as I’ve been making plans for what I know is a vigorous campaign I realize that every moment that I spent planning for a campaign or re-election was time that I was taking away from my current responsibilities to the city. This Rolling Stone controversy is a brilliant opportunity to highlight how subtle, yet brutally obvious, presented broadcast media bias can be when combined with ideological opportunism.

Donald Trump said on Thursday the author of the interview, Paul Solotaroff, called to apologize for the way it was edited:

“The writer actually called me and said, ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and [publisher] Jann Wenner screwed it up’ — he told me that,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day.” “They added a lot of stuff, a lot of garish stuff, that I think is disgusting.” (link)

The author of the article, Solotaroff, appeared on CNN with Anderson Cooper and was questioned about this assertion by Trump.  The author appears to deny the assertion, however if you really listen to his answer, and accept his situation, you recognize there’s validity and affirmation to what Trump is claiming  – you just need to understand the context. Obviously CNN adding space for Carly Fiorina so she can participate in the debate on behalf of the GOPe agenda to create space for Jeb.
Meanwhile the MEDIA onslaught against Trump continues.  Both Salem Media Communications (religious and politically ideological right) and Main Stream Media (anti-religion and politically ideological left) are aligned on behalf of all their collective financial interests to remove the threat to their politically driven power structure.

Keep in mind:  ♦ no wrongdoing has ever been found;  ♦ Marilyn Mosby’s private attorney is the same attorney as Freddie Gray’s family;  ♦ The Gray family never filed a lawsuit, so this is not a “settlement” per se’;  ♦ The possibility of any police wrongful conduct being found during trial is quite probably nil; ♦ The maximum payout under Maryland state law, if lawsuit filed – and if police misconduct could be identified, would have been $400k.

UPDATE:  The nine-page agreement, obtained Wednesday by The Baltimore Sun, shows that Gray’s mother, Gloria Darden, will receive $5.36 million. Gray’s father, Freddie Gray Sr., will receive $640,000. The remainder, $400,000, will be paid to the “Estate of Freddie Gray Jr.”
The city agrees to pay $1.8 million within 15 days, to be divided proportionately among the parities, according to the document. Another $1 million must be paid by Nov. 1.
The remaining $3.6 million will be paid out in the next fiscal year. (link)

Officer Michael Slager has been in jail since April charged with murder.  The first judicial hearing for Officer Slager, and the possibility for bond, will take place this Thursday.

Today media reports begin to surface from attorney Andy Savage which glean a considerable similarity in defense to our initial research discoveries:

• Walter Scott was “on top” of Slager during the initial struggle. (link) [we first discovered this in our initial research]
• Walter Scott’s DNA is on the tazer Officer Slager deployed. (link) [this was anticipated as a result of the visible struggle identified ]
• During the struggle Officer Slager was “tazed” twice by Scott using his own weapon (link) [our research previously identified this distinct probability]
• Walter Scott was “fleeing” Officer Slager due to outstanding warrant (child support)
• A strong possibility exists that a weapon was on the scene between the originating point of the initial chase to the final disposition where the video of the lengthy struggle begins. (link)

Yes, he actually did that.  Secretary Kerry has created a new position within the U.S. State Department to insure they stop lying…. seriously.  This is supposed to make us feel better.  A transparency “email” monitor within the U.S. State Department.
Of course, the appointed Truth and Transparency Czar is a career politician highly skilled in deceit and manipulation.  Go figure.
(CNN) – Secretary of State John Kerry has tapped a former career diplomat as an “email czar” to coordinate the State Department response to the myriad of document requests mostly related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which have strained the department’s resources, officials familiar with the appointment tell CNN.
Janice Jacobs will serve as Kerry’s State Department’s Transparency Coordinator, charged with responding to Freedom of Information Act and congressional requests faster and more efficiently and improving the State Department systems for keeping records. (more…)

Reuters is declaring today that Hillary Clinton is proposing a new platform plank, ‘campaign finance reform‘, to rescue her increasingly flailing candidacy.
However, as much as I detest writing about Clinton, this proposal is so fraught with nonsense it deserves to be highlighted.

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton will propose a slate of campaign finance reform measures on Tuesday aimed at limiting political donations by corporations and large donors and increasing transparency in election spending.
Clinton, who is seeking the nomination to be the Democratic candidate in the November 2016 presidential election, identified measures she would pursue if she becomes president.

As a general matter we tend to focus most of our research toward the machinations on the other side of the coin, the RNC/GOPe side.  However, for Bernie Sanders supporters there is some commonality.

Did you notice that ever since Hillary Clinton’s worsening poll numbers the Wall Street financiers, who control the optics of mainstream media presentations, are now refusing to show head-to-head match-ups between Hillary and Bernie Sanders?
In every poll now (see below for yet another example) the media polling company includes Joe Biden as a possible candidate.  This is not accidental, it’s actually by design.  By adding Joe Biden the MSM can water down the Bernie support optic (he’s crushing her) and make it seem ‘as if’ Hillary has better polling than reality provides. Sound familiar?  Could you sing it if we only provided the first stanza?  Most likely the answer is yes.  The bigger question is “why”?
