U.S. Chamber of Commerce Spends $17.9 Million Lobbying Senate For Trans-Pacific Trade Deal….

As we have continued to outline, it is important to understand the interests of the CoC.  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the Wall Street construct to look out for the best interests of stock valuations.  The CoC then pays lobbyists to bribe Senators for support for Wall Street’s best interests.

Peel all the skin off the onion, get to the rotten political core, and this is ultimately the source and origin of the GOPe angst against Main Street via attacking Donald Trump.

(Via Reuters) Washington lobbying by companies and groups involved in global trade boomed in the past nine months, records show, as Congress debated a landmark trade pact proposed by President Barack Obama, the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Lobbying expenditures by members of a pro-TPP coalition increased to $135 million in the second quarter of 2015, up from $126 million in the first quarter and $118 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, according to Senate Office of Public Records reports reviewed by Reuters.

The spending surge occurred among members of the U.S. Business Coalition for TPP, a group that hopes a final TPP deal can be completed by the end of 2015.

Trade negotiators from the 12 TPP countries will gather in Hawaii next week for meetings aimed at wrapping up the deal.

“I’m confident that everybody is going to do everything they can, but the U.S. won’t take a bad deal,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce senior vice-president for Asia Tami Overby, one of many private sector representatives heading to Maui for the talks.

The chamber, Washington’s largest corporate lobbying group, led the pack in spending in all three quarters. From April to June, it spent $17.9 million, excluding subsidiaries, up 29 percent from the first quarter, the Senate records show.

Another big spender was Business Roundtable, an association of U.S. company chief executive officers. Spokeswoman Amanda DeBard said lobbying on fast-track was a “significant part” of the company’s overall expenditures during the second quarter.

U.S. labor groups, which fought fast-track and oppose the TPP because of worries about its impact on jobs, said they intended to redouble their efforts to fight the trade deal after the fast-track legislation was approved by Congress.

Labor union AFL-CIO increased its lobbying expenses by more than 43 percent between the first and second quarters to $920,000, not including subsidiaries.

The overall lobbying expenditure rise coincided with a congressional battle over legislation to give Obama “fast-track” power to negotiate trade deals and speed them through Congress (read more)

Begin With The End In Mind – The only way to defeat the enemy is to know your enemy better than they know themselves.  Teach your friends, family and co-workers what the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is all about.

Remember to teach them there is a difference between the local municipal chamber of commerce in your town – and the national U.S. Chamber of Commerce which is funded by Wall Street and the 50 largest companies registered in the U.S.  These two entities, while holding a similar name, are Apples and Oranges.

The U.S. CoC represents Wall Street, not Main Street.  The U.S. CoC advocates for policy which benefits Wall Street, not Main Street U.S.A.

Remember, this guy is counting on us:

Watch Trump demolish most of the senators in the debate over TPP – with the exception of Cruz who switched at the last minute to oppose it, if memory serves. If these presidential candidates want to be as popular as Trump they might trying not sucking so bad.

I was involved in a public forum with my State Senator. He was out in front, giving the Party line about TPA, TAA, & TPP. ‘We can’t do away with the IM bank’, ‘89% of all global trade is outside our borders,’ ‘this will benefit all of American workers’ ad nausea.
Years ago, the NAFTA trade deal was presented in the same vein. Since there is no information as to what is contained in the TPP, I studied England’s trade bill which was being debated and which included American involvement. I took the 12 countries involved in the TPP and started to research. I compiled analysis, I studied religious demographics, I looked at import and export records, I look at the corporations that would benefit, I looked at what my state was selling and buying, I compiled Gov’t statistics, etc., etc., etc.
I used all my information and contacted my Congressional “peeps”. Responses received left no doubt, my “peeps” back in Washington, DC, are “owned.”
    “Know thine enemy”.

Congressmen/women have not written any original legislation in decades. Law are now written by think tanks and lobbying groups after enough palms have been greased.

Now the serious question can Main Street beat Wall Street? We the people have to decide this. Correct?

This is why they do not care what the American Citizens have to say. We need TERM LIMITS and vote them out when they no longer represent us. Arizona must ignore everything McCain promises, all of his ads and remember what he has done to us.

How come no howls about all the foreign workers imported here from India? Or all the jobs that are being done remotely by corporations in India? If those jobs alone were brought back here, our economy would improve. And I won’t even mention the hundreds of thousands of jobs companies like Apple, etc. have migrated to China.

Foreign workers from India? Aren’t those the HB 1 visa jobs? Ted Cruz, Jindal and all other candidates support that openly.

The big lie with that is that the tech jobs being sent to India and elsewhere are low level jobs. Not so. They are the good bread and butter IT jobs that were in demand and paid well and are very technical. I know as a fact!

NAFTA – was the first shot towards TPP + – it destroyed most of Mexico’s middle class and poor citizens including most farmers going out of business.
Illegal immigration and importing cheaper labor was the motivation and intent all along – while neutralizing and destroying the American middle class.
That trade deal signed into law by Bill Clinton was the scheme designed to tear down the southern border and allow anyone coming into the US to be pitted against American workers and also allowed the global elite to be one step closer to the TPP + – tearing down the sovereignty of the US – the global elites not only final goal but also ‘the’ step needed for their global one-world-government.

Also – if anyone still thinks that the drought in California came about ‘naturally’ – no, it was man-made and a small number of scientists are being so alarmed that they are beginning to warn and ask americans to wake up before it is too late.
Geoengineeringwatch dot org caused me to rethink much what is going on – all the dead bankers, the non-reported and increasing number of ‘dead’ doctors all throughout the US is just flabbergasting.
