Hundreds Of Thousands Attend DC March For Life…

WASHINGTON DC – Thousands of young adults thronged the National Mall on Friday to protest abortion and cheer speakers who called for overturning the 40-year-old landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

Protesters — drawn by social media and church youth groups — flocked to the annual March for Life despite subfreezing temperatures and snow in the forecast.

“We are winning with young people. I see it right in front of me today,” said organizer Jeanne Monahan, president of the March for Life Education & Defense Fund.

As one abortion opponent after another addressed the crowd, Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey drew the loudest applause with an attack on the court ruling: “Forty years ago this past Tuesday marks the Supreme Court’s infamous, reckless and inhumane abandonment of women and babies to the abortionists.” (more…)

updateHere is the link to the Bill O’Reilly Talking Points Segment CLICK HERE

Will air any minute…Finally, I guess I’m going to have to take back the stuff I said about B.O.R. Well, maybe….

For almost a year, and through four refused FOIA requests, we have been trying to get the 911 call tapes from the Virginia Pilot Beatings.   It appears Fox News Bill O’Reilly has been able to twist enough arms and will air the call tapes tomorrow (Thur) on his show.

Whether he has, or will air, the “FULL” tapes, is unknown.   But, at least they are finally going to be heard.

The original postings about the racially based beatings are: (more…)

Video of the fight was released to the public  at a trial for the four suspects: Andrew McCray, Martrell Terrell, Shadia  Brackman and Christopher Montanez, who are all from Yonkers.  (link)

The Stories From Algeria’s Hostage Crisis….. What About The Americans?

There is an interesting compilation of stories from some of the non-U.S. hostages who survived the Algeria terror attack.

The Missing

JAPAN:  One Japanese worker at the plant remains unaccounted for, according to employer  JGC.
NORWAY: Five Norwegian employees of Statoil  are still missing, the energy company said.
BRITAIN: Two other Britons still missing and  feared dead, the UK government said.
UNITED STATES:  3 Americans dead the US has confirmed. A US official said seven American  hostages escaped.
MALAYSIA:  Two Malaysians are missing, the government says.
PHILIPPINES: Four Filipinos are  missing.

Ask yourself this question as you read:  “where is the U.S. Press in similar coverage of our guys”?   Are they so interested invested in covering for the failed foreign policy of the Obama administration they cannot bring themselves to report on the most horrific of all terror attacks in recent history? NY Journal News Removes Map Of Gun Owners, Cites Provision In New Gun Law…

Yesterday, another break-in and robbery of a house outlined in the Journal News Map.  This is the second such burgalry targeting homes with firearms outlined in the short-sighted map.  It is only a matter of time before the financial liability of the newspaper, comes into the courtroom.   So, Journal News makes up an excuse to remove it….

LoHud 1

Follow Your Instincts – Oklahoma Home Invasion Thwarted By Armed Woman Home Alone…

The reason I link this prog-race baiter to this article is to show “self defense” has nothing to do with color.   As idiots like Nat Jackson can never fathom, the victim is not the one profiling – they are the ones being profiled.

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -Armed with a gun and ready to shoot, a Shawnee woman defended her home as man broke down her door. It happened in broad daylight and she didn’t back down.

Pam Loman and her husband, James, say they’ve lived on Homer Lane in Shawnee for over 10 years and have never had any problems. But early Friday afternoon, while Pam was home alone, she quickly figured out, three men outside her home were up to no good.

“I still feel queasy sick at my stomach, a little shaky, a little nervous,” Pam said.

Pam was cleaning her home Friday afternoon when she heard someone knocking at her front door.

“One was knocking on the door, but there was two in the car. So I thought that was kind of strange, and they looked a little scary,” she said. (more…)

Report: Obama Leaning Toward Denis McDonough for Next Chief of Staff….

Um, toldyaso…   The architect of the Oval Office defense behind Fast and Furious, AND the architect of the Benghazi defense, Denis McDonough, is going to be rewarded with the office overlooking the Don Regan patio.

(Via The Hill) President Obama is leaning toward choosing Denis McDonough, currently a deputy national security adviser, as his next chief of staff, sources told Bloomberg.

McDonough, who worked on Obama’s 2008 campaign, is considered deeply loyal to the president. He was a longtime congressional aide who worked for Obama when he was a freshman senator. McDonough also served as foreign policy adviser to then-Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle (S.D.) and legislative director to then-Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colo.), who is now the secretary of the Interior. (more…)

An Opinion on Gun Control – Soup To Nuts Long but worth the read….

Authored by Larry Correia, who is the New York Times bestselling author of the Monster Hunter International series, the Grimnoir Chronicles, and the thriller Dead Six.

gun_mama-1I didn’t want to post about this, because frankly, it is exhausting. I’ve been having this exact same argument for my entire adult life. It is not an exaggeration when I say that I know pretty much exactly every single thing an anti-gun person can say. I’ve heard it over and over, the same old tired stuff, trotted out every single time there is a tragedy on the news that can be milked. Yet, I got sucked in, and I’ve spent the last few days arguing with people who either mean well but are uninformed about gun laws and how guns actually work (who I don’t mind at all), or the willfully ignorant (who I do mind), or the obnoxiously stupid who are completely incapable of any critical thinking deeper than a Facebook meme (them, I can’t stand).

Today’s blog post is going to be aimed at the first group. I am going to try to go through everything I’ve heard over the last few days, and try to break it down from my perspective. My goal tonight is to write something that my regular readers will be able to share with their friends who may not be as familiar with how mass shootings or gun control laws work. (more…)

Dear Mr. Security Agent….. A message from one who will not be disarmed to those who would be doing the disarming….

cropped-defiance-bayonet.jpg

Written by Matt Bracken

52-policeDear Mr. Security Agent, Federal, state, or local. You, the man or woman with the badge, the sworn LEO or FLEA and those who inhabit the many law enforcement niches in between and on all sides. This essay is directed to you, because in the end, how this turmoil about gun control turns out will depend largely upon your decisions and actions over the coming months and years.

I sincerely wish that members of Congress—who may soon be voting on new gun control measures—would read this essay, but I realize that’s a pipe dream, considering the impenetrable bubbles around those exalted entities. So I’ll settle for you, Mr. (or Ms.) Security Agent, since you already gobble up everything on the internet, and I don’t have to seek you out.

A decade ago I wrote the novel Enemies Foreign and Domestic, a tale about how tragic events involving the misuse of firearms can be used by an evil administration to misinform and mold public opinion to support its malign anti-freedom policies. (more…)
