One cannot praise the fighting resolve of the Kurdish people in Kobane Syria too much. The Kurdish men, and especially women, are amazing fighters and together with ordinary citizens including grandparents and children, they are striking back against ISIS.

It isn’t a snapshot but a more formally posed picture. The girl has lively eyes, a pleasant smile. It was taken shortly before she left a note for her parents telling them she was crossing the border into Syria to join the Kurdish defense militia, the YPG. That was six months ago and last week she contacted him and explained she was fighting the militants of the Islamic State in the besieged town of Kobani.
There is both sadness and pride in her father’s eyes. Ali, a 47-year-old shepherd and father of ten from a nearby village, says, “She is greater than me. I can’t be like her. I have not reached her level of commitment.” (more…)

Mom says 18-year-old baby Vonderrit was eating a sandwich and contemplating which college classes would be better – considering his recently edited white paper on Gravitational Inconsistencies as applied to Quantum theory. 
A local politician, Senator Nasheed, says the police walked up to Vonderrit while he was kneeling down in prayer and shot him in the back of the head.  
There appears to be a disconnect in here somewhere;  somewhere between reality and a new flat screen TV...
ST. LOUIS • An autopsy has shown that Vonderrit Myers Jr. was shot from five to seven times during a fatal encounter with an off-duty police officer Wednesday, police sources said.
Sen. Jamilah Nasheed suggested at a press conference earlier today that the teen had been shot in the back of the head, but medical examiners did not find any gunshots to the back of Myers’ head, police sources said.
There were seven wounds to the teen’s body, five of which are clearly bullet holes. Investigators still are trying to determine if the other wounds are exit wounds, sources said. (read more)

(Via Sharyl Attkisson) At least five children infected with the respiratory illness known enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) have died in the U.S. in the past month.
The latest confirmed victim was a four-year-old New Jersey boy, Eli Waller. He died at home on September 25. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) confirmed the cause of death Friday night. But health officials say they have no idea how he contracted the virus.

A health official says Eli was “asymptomatic and fine” when he went to bed but died overnight. He had no known preexisting immune weakness.

Two Britons and two American hostages have now been brutally decapitated by ISIS as they vow to continue the beheadings until their demands are met.  American Peter Edward Kassig is a former Army Ranger who was on a U.S. AID mission when he was captured.

CAIRO (AP) — An Internet video released Friday purports to show an Islamic State group fighter beheading British hostage Alan Henning.
The video mirrored other beheading videos shot by the Islamic State group, which now holds territory along the border of Syria and Iraq.  The video ended with an Islamic State fighter threatening a man they identified as an American.
“Obama, you have started your aerial bombard of Shams (Syria), which keep on striking our people, so it is only right that we strike the next of your people,” a masked militant said.
The Associated Press could not immediately verify the video’s authenticity, though it was released in the same manner as other Islamic State group videos. (more…)

In addition to the Ebola outbreak confirmed in Dallas Texas, health officials in both Kentucky and Washington DC are now reporting they have each isolated patients from West Africa who are exhibiting Ebola Symptoms.

WASHINGTON DC – A possible case of Ebola is being investigated at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Friday. “We’ve admitted a patient in stable condition following travel to Nigeria who is presenting symptoms that could possibly be Ebola,” university spokeswoman Kerry-Ann Hamilton told The Hill. She added that the patient has not tested positive. The patient is reportedly under quarantine. (link)
Meanwhile In Kentucky – […] Two patients have been hospitalized with Ebola-like symptoms, according to Fayette County Health Department officials. The locals doctors have quarantined the possible Kentucky Ebola patients as a precaution, noting the potential public threat caused by the release of Texas Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan. (link)

We essentially already knew this because Darren Wilson has testified to the Grand Jury already.  Wilson would traditionally be nearly the last to be questioned.  The prosecutor is now confirming the investigation is over.   Now they need to time the release of the Grand Jury decision in an attempt to minimize the looting and violence.

(CNN) — The investigation into the controversial shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown by a police officer in a St. Louis suburb has been completed, the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office said Wednesday.
Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed the 18-year-old in the middle of the day on August 9 after allegedly telling Brown and a friend to get out of the street.
Authorities could have charged Wilson themselves by filing a criminal complaint, but St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch instead opted to present the case to a grand jury to decide whether to indict the officer.
“The investigation has been basically completed that is being conducted by both the FBI and St. Louis County PD,” Ed Magee, the spokesman for the prosecutor’s office, told CNN.
A grand jury is expected to decide by the middle of next month if Wilson will be charged criminally for the shooting, which sparked weeks of unrest on the streets of Ferguson and calls for a federal civil rights investigation. (read more)

Patient ZERO is named: “Thomas Eric Duncan“

Yesterday the head of the CDC, Tom Friedman, claimed “I have no doubt that we will control this case of Ebola so that it does not spread” – today the CDC announces they are evaluating patient number two…. and that patient Zero had contact with several children of various ages who have also attended various schools.

DALLAS – Health officials are closely monitoring a possible second Ebola patient who had close contact with the first person to be diagnosed in the U.S., the director of Dallas County’s health department said Wednesday.

All who have been in close contact with the man diagnosed are being monitored as a precaution, said Zachary Thompson, director of Dallas County Health and Human Services.
“Let me be real frank to the Dallas County residents: The fact that we have one confirmed case, there may be another case that is a close associate with this particular patient,” he said. “So this is real. There should be a concern, but it’s contained to the specific family members and close friends at this moment.”

The pattern of Jesse Matthew’s abductions, rapes and murders is going to come to light IF the media keep up the pressure.   But unfortunately ONLY if the media keeps pressure upon the law enforcement community.

In addition to Hannah Graham,  Matthew is already linked to two  other rapes (02′ and 05′) and two abductions and murders: Morgan Harrington (20) in 2009′, and Cassandra Morton (23), also in 2009.   We suspected he would be and outlined as such HERE.
That makes FIVE known victims – but we think there are at least SIX MORE

Not only do the victims have a pattern, but there’s a geographic pattern as well as a specific timing pattern.
Almost all of his victims coincide with College Terms: “Spring” and/or “Fall” semesters – but we don’t know if the police have connected that pattern yet.

~ “THE BACK TO SCHOOL KILLER” ~

There are two issues which might impede thorough investigation.    The first issue is that an arrest was made in one of the potential victims, 17-year old Alexis Murphy.
The second issue is the sheer political correctness leading up to the Hannah Graham abduction which created an environment of law enforcement paralysis.  It became impossible within Virginia for law enforcement to broadcast a black male suspect in multiple killings of young girls between 2009 and 2014.
We are going to tackle the first issue here.  We’ll highlight the second, broader issues, at a later date.   Please continue reading with an open mind, and understand there are obvious reasons the police and local politicians would have a vested interest in not pursuing this. (more…)
