I really wanted to hunker down and ride it out.  But the insufferable propaganda around the death of Nelson Mandela is too much to ignore. Rather than deconstruct all of these ridiculous liberal CNN-isms and talking points, let’s just cut it down to brass tacks and stick to historical facts.
Apartheid as a political structure in South Africa was bad. Oppression under any guise is always wrong.
But with Apartheid you must step back to the geo-political map of 1976-1990 and evaluate the alternatives.
A bunch of stuff happened between the fall of the Shah of Iran and the collapse of the Berlin Wall / Soviet Empire which framed the backdrop for U.S. political discussion and eventual activity in South Africa.

Expect to see a significant attempt to *use* the death of Nelson Mandela to pump up the associated progressive causes; the Che Guevara of Africa.
The claims of victimization, inherent in the ideological goals of the progressive left, need emotional boost to maintain their disconnect from the sunlight of actual and truthful consequence.     Nelson Mandela’s death presents an opportunity to return to the use of emotionally connected Cultural Marxism to advance their cause.
It will be large, it will be massive, it will be substantial – and it will take place using the full weight of the progressive left, the professional grievance industry, labor unions, socialists, communists, marxists and all forms of radical left-wing ideology. (more…)

(Via Gateway Pundit)  Media Report by KOB New Mexico – On January 2, 2013, David Eckert was leaving Wal-Mart in Deming, NM and reportedly failed to make a complete stop at the stop sign. He was immediately pulled over by police. Law enforcement then asked Eckhert to step out of the vehicle.
According to reports Eckert appeared to be clenching his buttocks so law enforcement concluded that Eckert was hiding narcotics in his anal cavity.  The officers detained Eckert and secured a search warrant allowing for an anal cavity search.

Actor James Woods tweeted the adage to me a few weeks ago, if you scratch away the surface of a leftist, you expose a fascist. Nowhere is this more evident and proven than the suggestion by The New Republic’s Senior Editor Julia Ioffe’s suggestion that Obama act as Boris Yeltsin did when he shot up Russia’s Parliament building with T-72 tanks.
I have now heard it all. I have seen it all. What we are witnessing is what “The Great One” Mark Levin calls “Soft Tyranny.” Such tyranny is a slow walk to 25% of our population being murdered, as Stalin, Pot, Mao, and Castro did, to name just a few of the most illustrious and storied Marxist “revolutionaries” who murdered all of those who couldn’t be “retrained”…as Obama crony Bill Ayers promised to do in his manifesto. From what can be gathered within a myriad of media reports is that Sec. Kerry / POTUS have agreed to leave “U.S. threat of force” out of U.N. resolution against Syria for non-compliance.   Meaning if Assad does not comply with U.N. mandate to disarm himself of chemical weapons, the U.S. had conceded a strike by us will not be one of the consequences.
Instead, the “stick” per se’, to non-compliance from Syria, would be a return to the U.N. Security Council for a resolution allowing the “use of force”.  
D’oh..  Russia can, by structural Security Council set-up, veto any such follow-up proposal.

This issue is actually one of a larger context.    It has been a topic of EXTREME leftist concern since the “blogosphere” took down one of their mouthpieces,  Dan Rather.
What the Limo-Liberals fear  more than anything else is a loss of control.   This control need and fear is, in the purest sense, at the core of liberalism because the structure of their ideology is antithetical to Freedom.    They need to maintain a ruse.
Ask anyone who has lived in, or been subjected to, information controls like former Soviet Union, China, North Korea, and many Middle East nations; they’ll tell you what value exists in communication with like-minded patriots.  It is the core of morale.
Progs, leftists, Democrats et al, need to control because the construct of their ideology cannot survive the scrutiny of sunlight.   Hence, all of their moves are to restrict free expressions of ideas and information. (more…)
