The U.S. State Department released more of Hillary Clinton’s emails today.  One of those emails is noted as originating on March 22nd 2011, the exact day President Obama launched the attacks on Libya.

The newly released email confirms what many already knew – it was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice and Samantha Power who convinced President Obama to go to war in Libya:

“Turning POTUS around on this is a major win for everything we worked for”..

There may indeed be a feeling of disappointment amid many political followers who support Donald Trump today. A sense of disappointment because he did not win the Iowa caucuses.

However, long-time readers here will probably not hold as much angst at the result; and just about all of us are overly familiar with the sense of futility against it all.

These 2016 events are predictable, very predictable.  They are so predictable we outlined exactly how they would take place back in 2013, more than two years ago.

Before reading further – GO HERE AND SEE – These events are not organic, they are born from a very specific origin.  We stated in November of 2013 that Senator Marco Rubio would be propped up by the political machine in the 2016 Presidential race, for a very specific purpose.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration confirmed for the first time Friday that Hillary Clinton’s unsecured home server contained some of the U.S. government’s most closely guarded secrets, censoring 22 emails with material demanding one of the highest levels of classification. The revelation comes just three days before the Iowa presidential nominating caucuses in which Clinton is a candidate.

The State Department will release its next batch of emails from Clinton’s time as secretary of state later Friday.

A new Florida FAU poll (full pdf below) shows candidate Donald Trump extending his lead and nearing the 50% threshold.   At 48% Trump has increased his lead by 11 points since the same poll was conducted a month ago.

Ted Cruz comes in a distant second at 16%, with home-state Senator Marco Rubio at 11% and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush 10% – the rest of the field is irrelevant in Florida.

The polling also includes the general Florida electorate enabling head-to-head match ups between the Republican candidates and Democrat candidates.  (more…)

(Via Fox News) Hillary Clinton’s emails on her unsecured, homebrew server contained intelligence from the U.S. government’s most secretive and highly classified programs, according to an unclassified letter from a top inspector general to senior lawmakers.

Fox News exclusively obtained the unclassified letter, sent Jan. 14 from Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III. It laid out the findings of a recent comprehensive review by intelligence agencies that identified “several dozen” additional classified emails — including specific intelligence known as “special access programs” (SAP).   (more…)

Washington DC – A top aide for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign on Monday ripped attacks on Bill Clinton’s past infidelity by GOP rival Donald Trump, saying Trump has gone “in the gutter.”

Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta also issued a warning to Clinton’s Democratic rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to stay away from the topic.

“I hope he’s not going there,” Podesta said of Sanders during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” after the host noted it seems “there’s some piling on here” by Sanders.  “He said that he’s going to run a positive campaign, that he wasn’t going to go in for personal attacks and I take him at his word on that,” Podesta continued. WASHINGTON DC –  A former U.S. Attorney predicts a Watergate-style showdown in the Department of Justice if Attorney General Loretta Lynch overrules a potential FBI recommendation to indict Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“The [FBI] has so much information about criminal conduct by her and her staff that there is no way that they walk away from this,” Joseph diGenova, formerly the District of Columbia’s U.S. Attorney, told Laura Ingraham in a Tuesday radio interview. “They are going to make a recommendation that people be charged and then Loretta Lynch is going to have the decision of a lifetime. Former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair previously gave testimony to an investigative panel of Parliament regarding the decision-making in/around the 2011 overthrow of Libyan leader Muamar Gaddafi.  Blair was acting as an intermediary trying to resolve the crisis.  As a result of that testimony a transcript of a February 25th, 2011, phone call has also been released.

It is important to remember on the date of this phone call, the U.S. decision to intervene in Libya was very much undecided.   U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was working with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and U.K Prime Minister David Cameron.

President Obama was specifically, and at the time, notoriously, absent from publicly commenting one-way or the other.  Pressure was building on the White House to weigh in on the Libyan issue.  The interventionist activity was the original construct of Secretary Hillary Clinton, U.N.
