Given the increased scrutiny now evident in the Presidential Race it is interesting to note the Republican Party in Indiana has selected their contingent of delegates in advance of the primary election to be held May 3rd, 2016.
Indiana has 57 Delegates Available to the winner on a State and Congressional District level. 30 (10 base at-large delegates plus 17 bonus delegates plus 3 RNC delegates) statewide delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes statewide.

Somewhat quietly, though not without some water-cooler discussion, the Republican Party Leadership is warning membership to stay away from the upcoming Cleveland Ohio convention.
The media is describing the issue as centering around those elected politicians who may want to avoid the potential for divisive controversy. However, if you look at the actual landscape, and then look at the political ideology of those who are openly saying they are staying away, what you’ll notice is the RINO caucus, the ‘Decepticons’, are the most cautious.

If you spend some time digging through the professional GOPe messaging, what you’ll note is the party leadership seems fully aware something very dangerous might just come to fruition. Not dangerous in a violent way per se’, but rather dangerous in a very political and contentious way; there’s very good reason for this. (more…)
Michigander Charlie LeDuff has produced an amazingly good boots-on-the-ground video which shows how insufferably connected the chattering class of Vichy Republicans have become.
LeDuff showcases the disconnect by highlighting a series of articles in National Review, and then actually going to the locales belittled by the NRO staff and talking to the ordinary, hard-working middle class people who live within them.
Driving to New York – LeDuff actually interviews the people that NRO is figuratively writing about, the resulting contrast speaks volumes:
“Shocked by their support of Donald Trump, some elitist conservative thinkers are calling places like Garbutt, NY pockets of misery, welfare fraud and dope addiction. They say let these towns die. Turns out Garbutt is not like that at all”.
LeDuff masterfully tells a real life short story and simultaneously contrasts the pontificating arrogance of the Charles Cooke, Kevin Williamson, Rich Lowry and Johan Goldberg types at National Review. The resulting work is brilliant:
Actions Speak Louder Than Words – This is an older interview with Ivanka Trump from October of 2015. However, within the interview you see why the progressive left (within Hillary Clinton Camp) is desperately afraid of Donald Trump.
Candidate Donald Trump has an actual history of empowering, advancing, and promoting strong women within his organization. Everything about Ivanka Trump runs completely counter to the narrative the progressive left need to advance Clinton.
In this interview Ivanka absolutely destroys the archetype ‘sexism’ approach:
Dusty Keyboard Alert
At a Donald Trump campaign event in Janesville, WI, Mr. Trump took a question from 2005 Miss Wisconsin USA, Melissa Young. Young was in tears and thanked Mr. Trump for all his support and love during a time she’s been battling a devastating illness (details after video):

Harvey Leroy Atwater, or “Lee” as he was known, was an old-school republican political operative who was a master of the dark arts in political obfuscation, and denial.
What we are witnessing in this video, via the denials of Senator Ted Cruz, is straight from the Atwater school of political management.
When infidelities are discovered:
• Hide the spouse • Take her off the trail • Block contact • Delete Social Media • Present female spokesperson as intercepting agent for candidate • Keep interceptor with candidate at all times • Deny • Deny • Deny…. until denial is no longer a plausible option:
♦ The interceptor is to deflect attention away from the campaign. ♦ The Candidate must not answer direct questions. ♦ Reassert candidate’s humility perspective. This becomes paramount to give space if needed in phase two.
Phase Two – Interceptor drops out. When/if the candidate can no longer hide the infidelity, the reasons for prior obfuscation/denial was ‘embarrassment‘. Phase Two ends with re-entry of spouse to deliver the “we will heal / together” speech. Surround candidate’s optic with friends and family; or carefully host private one-on-one interview.
Atwater’s legacy continues….

The Easter Day Massacre
(Warning: Graphic Content – This is not a spoof)
An Easter egg hunt in Connecticut turned into a bloody rampage as hoards of violent parents stormed the fields around PEZ Headquarters in a frenzied attempt to garner the precious eggs.
Children were captured on video screaming in agony as mobs of adults tore baskets from their hands, beat the peeps out of them, and left them laying bloodied on the field of Easter conquest. As a two year old was having her little face shoved into the dirt by the heel of a crazed chaperone, the event organizers pleaded with the raging mob to stop.
Unfortunately, the chocolate covered blood lust could not be quenched until the last of the 9,000 eggs was captured. When the dust settled, ambulances were called to care for the youngest of the wounded…

(The Daily Mail Has a Full Outline of the Horror) An Easter egg hunt descended into chaos on Saturday after parents in Orange, Connecticut, stormed the field.
Children as young as four were trampled by adults in a rampage to steal buckets and grab as many of the 9,000 hidden eggs as possible from the third annual free event at the PEZ headquarters. (more…)

Easter Baby !! Congratulations Jared and Ivanka Kushner

How dare he. Just, well, how dare he. That’s the takeaway sense you get when you review the New York Times framing of a two hour ‘on-the-record’ interview with Donald Trump referencing a world-view and foreign policy outlook.
It is refreshing, and it is bizarre we can even use the word “refreshing“, to see an American candidate for the American Presidency, say their goal is to actually put America-first in all policy decisions.
It’s not protectionism, it’s patriotism.
It’s not isolationism, it’s common sense.
Almost all of Europe and most of Asia are capable of spending Trillions of dollars on their infrastructure, Airports, bullet-trains, high-speed rail, bridges, ‘Chunnels’, and the list goes on…. quite simply because they don’t spend much on their own national defense, and prefer to hide behind our military apron when needed.
To pay for this enomorus international military/police force, and overly generous commitment, we, in turn, put ourselves into debt and can’t spend on our own domestic needs. This is not international economic theory, it’s a reality – and for the first time in decades a politician is saying enough is enough. Charity begins at home!

The headline reflects the moment my previous support for Ted Cruz (2011/2012), which evolved to concern about Senator Ted Cruz (2013/2014), turned to admitting Ted Cruz was a phony. He had been in office for 18 months – I had sent him campaign contributions.
The date was Saturday, July 19th, 2014 – I remember it vividly because I noted in my journal “last straw in providing Cruz any benefit of doubt – done“.

The week leading up to that weekend DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson appeared before an emergency congressional committee and stated he needed $4,000,000,000 (billion) in emergency appropriations to deal with the enormous “humanitarian crisis at the border“.
We knew that claim was fake because we had been tracking border apprehension reports and comparing them to the expressed narrative from the White House.
There wasn’t a mass influx of unaccompanied alien children (UAC’s), there was a predictable and intentionally constructed swarm of illegal alien “families“. (more…)
