Attorney for Covington High School student Nick Sandmann, Lin Wood, discusses the ongoing lawsuits against media enterprises including the Washington Post and CNN:
Traditionally, Ash Wednesday and Lent are associated with Catholicism, but that no longer holds true. More Christians are taking advantage of the “forty days” (it’s really 46) to prepare for Easter.
Lent is a time to fast, pray, give alms. Many Catholics will give something up. Sweets, alcohol, meat, cursing, something that is supposed to be sacrificial and difficult. We perform acts of penance, and frequently take part in public prayer, such as the Stations of the Cross, which most parishes will have weekly, often before a Lenten meal.

Unfortunately a bill introduced in the Senate to protect babies who survive abortion has failed a cloture vote. The “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act” was rejected by forty-four Senate Democrats earlier today. [See Vote Here]
Three democrat Senators voted to support the bill [Casey (PA), Manchin (WVA), and Jones (AL)], all others voted against protecting the babies. President Trump responded to the vote via Twitter while aboard Air-Force-One en route to Vietnam:

CTH doesn’t like to draw attention to the political extremists because often it only advances their objectives. However, the recent story today of a young conservative college student brutally assaulted is horrific and authorities are looking for the attacker.
CALIFORNIA – University of California police want the public’s help tracking down a suspect whose brutal alleged assault of a conservative activist on the Berkeley campus was caught on video.

While in Budapest, Hungary, Secretary Pompeo participates in a joint press availability with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto. The political and national values carried by the U.S., via President Trump, and Hungary, via PM Orban are in alignment.
[ Interestingly, AAG Matt Whitaker was attending the prayer breakfast with President Trump and administration officials. Hours later, he made an announcement. ]
President Trump delivers remarks today during the National Prayer Breakfast.
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump announce their guests for the State of the Union Address to be held tomorrow night:

Matthew Charles – Matthew Charles’s life is a story of redemption. In 1996, he was sentenced to 35 years in prison for selling crack cocaine and other related offenses. While in prison, Matthew found God, completed more than 30 bible studies, became a law clerk, taught GED classes, and mentored fellow inmates.
On January 3, 2019, Matthew was the first prisoner released as a result of the First Step Act.
Debra Bissell, Heather Armstrong, and Madison Armstrong – Gerald and Sharon David of Reno, Nevada, were tragically murdered in their home in Nevada by an illegal immigrant in January 2019. The terrible loss has devastated both their community and three generations of their family who will be represented at the State of the Union: the Davids’ daughter Debra, granddaughter Heather, and great-granddaughter Madison.

Attorney Robert Barnes explains to ‘Fox & Friends’ that any ‘false statements’ made about the students needs to be retracted and corrected within 48 hours or the subjects who targeted the Covington High School students will face lawsuits.
Mr. Barnes explains the specific laws that apply to minors; the process for libel damages under the current circumstances; and further outlines he is providing his legal services free of charge in order to stop malicious smears.
During his opening monologue today Tucker Carlson brilliantly outlined the madness that took over media surrounding a completely manufactured falsehood.
It was not a ‘rush-to-judgement’ decision by the media; it was not a mistake by media; it was an intentional and purposeful decision by the media to isolate, ridicule and marginalize their opposition.
