On June 3rd it was previously announced by her office that representative Sheila Jackson-Lee was battling pancreatic cancer.  [I wrote about it/her here]

Today, her office announced she died.  Cancer is horrible.  While it is sometimes difficult to find resilient grace and appropriate words for prayer; that does not absolve us of the commands of our faith. I will pray for Mrs Sheila Jackson-Lee and her family.  Understanding the path of light was fully within her control.

Dear Lord, we come to you seeking strength and grace. While we ask You to protect us from those who give no thought to the harmful consequences of their irresponsible actions, we also beg for grace -and forgiveness- within our prayers for those who blindly trespass. Shield us from the injurious situations they cause, let their malicious intents be hindered and target our prayers when comeuppance arrives.

As we earnestly try to live in peace with everyone, keep us away from contentious people who might incite us to react without pause or grace. Provide us with gracious, strong yet gentle words for healing that may help pacify the troubled hearts of the malicious. We make effort to glorify You and give testimony of our faith at every opportunity.

Guide and comfort the family of Mrs. Sheila Jackson Lee. During this time of loss and sorrow, bring them closer to You.  We beg You to wrap Your wing of love around them, in the way that only Your purity can provide.  In Your name of mercy, we pray.

President Donald Trump will deliver his acceptance speech tonight to close out the 2024 RNC Convention.  He is expected to touch on his attempted assassination last Saturday.  First Lady Melania Trump and the entire family will be present.

The intention here is crystal clear to those who do not pretend.  Robert F Kennedy Jr’s son, release a recording of a conversation between President Trump and RFK Jr.  The intent of the leak was to stop RFK Jr from forming an alliance of any interest with the Donald Trump.

The roots of the Kennedy clan tree are doing what the Kennedy clan does, regardless of what the RFK Jr branch of the tree wants to do; remember this.

According to most media reports, the conversation took place on Monday the first day of the RNC convention, prior to President Trump announcing JD Vance as his vice-presidential running mate.   Further reports indicate President Trump and RFK Jr also met in Milwaukee later on.

WASHINGTON – […] Trump spoke with Kennedy before he announced Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) as his running mate during Day 1 of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. In the leaked call, Trump could be heard on speakerphone saying he agrees with some of Kennedy’s stances on vaccines.

Apparently, this recorded conversation was leaked by the Kennedy clan after RFK JR and President Trump met in person.  A really low-brow and underhanded move by the people around RFK Jr.

POLITICO – Former President Donald Trump met this morning in Milwaukee with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to discuss the possibility of the independent candidate endorsing the Republican nominee, according to multiple people familiar with the huddle.

Asked about the meeting and a potential endorsement, Kennedy denied that he plans to drop out of the race. (more)

The intention of the leak is to ensure there is no national “coming together” between Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr.  Therein lies the core of what many people will pretend not to accept.  The tribalism of clans is generational and forms the root of their identity.

Journalist Salena Zito was in the stands on Saturday because she was pre-scheduled to interview President Trump on the return trip to Bedminster, NJ. Obviously that interview never took place. However, today on the flight to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, President Trump talked exclusively to Mrs. Zito, who writes for the Washington Examiner.

A reflective President Trump seemingly begins to absorb how fortunate he was to have the protection of God in a split second.

Salena Zito – Former President Donald Trump has completely rewritten his convention speech in light of the assassination attempt against him on Saturday and will call on Thursday for a new effort at national unity.

[…] “The speech I was going to give on Thursday was going to be a humdinger,” he said, “Had this not happened, this would’ve been one of the most incredible speeches” aimed mostly at the policies of President Joe Biden. “Honestly, it’s going to be a whole different speech now.”

Many of us have attended MAGA rallies to hear President Trump and experience the patriotic unity of our assembly.  The tragedy that unfolded yesterday lends a person to say, “there but for the grace of God.”…

The deceased shooting victim has been identified as Corey Comperatore (50), a retired fire chief from Pennsylvania who died while shielding his daughters from the barrage of gunfire.  A GoFundMe has been authorized by President Trump [SEE HERE] to collect money for the Comperatore family and for the families of other victims wounded in the horrific attack.

( VIA MSM) – The victim killed at the rally, Corey Comperatore, died a hero while protecting his family, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said at a news conference Sunday. The governor said Comperatore’s wife told him that Comperatore “dove on his family.”

Dear God, we come before You to seek Your protection.  Strengthen President Donald John Trump with the power of Your righteous might. Dress him in Your armor so that he can stand firm against the schemes of the evil that seeks his downfall. We know his struggle, like ours, is not simply against flesh and blood; but against evil manifest, against the powers that corrupt man, against the world forces of those who succumb to darkness, against spiritual forces of wickedness and malevolence. 

You are President Trump’s keeper, O Lord. You are the shade on his right hand. Protect him from all forms of evil and keep his soul safe. We beg Your might to guard his voice, his going out, his coming in and his steadfast determination to protect his flock.

Lord God, we thank You for Your outcome today, and humbly ask for Your angels to continue standing guard in his path.  We plead for Your perfect wing to continue forming the perfect shield.  From this moment and forever until the end of our capacity, we pray for Your protection. In Jesus’ name.
