BOSTON – The Christopher Columbus statue in the North End was vandalized yesterday — with red paint dumped on its head and “Black Lives Matter” emblazoned on its base — in a defacing that left one local leader frustrated the cherished site was used for protest.

“For someone who was in the neighborhood, I certainly sympathize with the ‘Black Lives Matter’ discussions,” said state Rep. Aaron Michlewitz. “But, I think there’s a better way to get your point across than to vandalize public property — even with the complexities that surround Christopher Columbus’ history.”

Daunasia Yancey, founder and lead organizer at Black Lives Matter Boston, said her group wasn’t behind it, but “we fully support it.” (more…)

Black male walks up to random couple walking, takes out a shotgun and blasts the female in the back of the head.

The victim has been identified as Carrie Jean Melvin, age 30.

Even though police are desperately asking for help from the public, the article below -and  media broadcast- does not give a full description of the suspect.  To find that out, yet again, you’d have to scour around:

On July 5, 2015, around 10:12 p.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the area of Sunset Boulevard and McCadden Place. Officers found that a female in her 30s had been shot while walking with her companion on McCadden Place toward Sunset Boulevard when an unidentified male Black approached on foot and shot the victim. The suspect left northbound on McCadden Place in a black sedan. (link)

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas –  A 29-year-old man remains in the hospital after getting shot in the leg in his own driveway.  His longtime girlfriend, who does not wish to be identified, told Channel 2 he had surgery Saturday morning and he will be OK.

The 29-year-old was working on his truck outside his Mission Bend home in the 15500 block of Beechnut Street on Friday evening.

Home surveillance video shows an African-American man approach the boyfriend, then pull out a gun and force him to the ground. Surveillance video shows the suspect dragging the boyfriend across his porch.

The victim’s girlfriend was at work during the incident. (more…)

San Diego, CA – Authorities on Wednesday circulated surveillance camera images of a youth sought for beating up a 52-year-old man at a La Mesa transit depot.

The victim had just exited a trolley about 8 p.m. June 13 when the assailant jumped him, punching him until he fell to the ground and then kicking him in the head, according to police. (more…)

A San Francisco article gives some insight into how the decision to make a “sanctuary city”, has now made them a safe harbor for illegal alien criminals, murderers and rapists.  Alternate headline: “Donald Trump Is Right”.

CALIFORNIA – With the awful, senseless shooting of Kate Steinle, and the arrest of an undocumented immigrant who was convicted of seven felonies and deported five times, people are asking questions about San Francisco’s wrong-headed and dangerous Sanctuary City policy. I’ve been following the story for years. Here is some background.

I remember writing on it in 2007 here when then San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom (now Lieutenant Governor) announced the city would not cooperate with federal immigration “raids,” in keeping with a Sanctuary City policy adopted in 1989. Quoth the mayor:

“I will not allow any of my department heads or anyone associated with this city to cooperate in any way shape or form with these raids. We are a sanctuary city, make no mistake about it.”

The next year, the city’s sanctuary policy was shown for the danger to public safety it had become.  On June 22, 2008, Edwin Ramos, an illegal immigrant with a history of violence, shot and killed Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, because he wrongly thought one of the Bologna sons was a gang rival, it turned out. Thereby implying that non-whites are incapable of cognitive reason; ergo any discussion is fruitless because the foundation is built upon two distinct parties with polarities within their views necessitating conflict.  The absolute epitome of racism.

I doubt you could find a more succinct presentation of the moral divide currently infecting the U.S. In this example a liberal professor says the very construct of reason and virtue is a white anglo-perspective that non-whites are incapable of understanding. In the most direct of terms, this professor is stating -albeit without accepting- that segregation is the only recourse.  This is the exact ideological world view of George Bernard Shaw and the original Fabian socialists.  

(Via Daily Caller) A philosophy and religion professor at Syracuse University gave an interview to The New York Times Thursday in which he critiqued the notion of pure reason as simply being a “white male Euro-Christian construction.”

Prof. John Caputo was being interviewed by fellow philosophy professor George Yancy for the 13th installment of an interview series Yancy conducts with philosophers regarding racial topics.

Given its emphasis on first principles and abstract thought, it may be tempting to view academic philosophy as a turf where the race of participants matters little, but Caputo says that’s entirely untrue. In fact, race is of central importance, and it’s proven by the mundane phrases philosophers use. (more…)

This is exactly what Trump should do. And the reaction from the liberals in the media will exemplify why this is so dangerous to them. Remember, liberals jump on shootings to call for gun control, they exploit every tragedy for political benefit; yet they will now rail against Trump for calling for a secure border – against the backdrop of this story.   Do Not Back Down – Call Dem’s out on their hypocritical and selective moral outrage.

Kathryn “Kate” Steinle, 32, was shot to death in broad daylight by alleged shooter Francisco Sanchez in front of her dad and a friend.  Sanchez, 45, is a 7-time felon who should have been handed over to immigration authorities following a Bay Area arrest four months ago. Kate’s mother, 69-year-old Liz Sullivan said, “She just kept saying, ‘Dad, help me, help me'”. Two television news crews reporting on the killing were later mugged at the scene, with a masked gunman pistol-whipping a camera operator.

This is the winning 2016 campaign message: => President Obama empowered Kates’ killer to murder Americans. Candidate Trump has vowed to stop the illegal invasion of Mexican criminals.  Who will you vote for? (more…)

Shockingly, none of the 144 murdered were killed by flags.  Mayor Rawlings-Blake says the current level of slaughter is “disheartening”.  Last month, Rawlings-Blake said city police officers need to do their jobs or face internal discipline…

BALTIMORE – Danielle Wilder said she has moved from her Baltimore home but isn’t telling anyone — even family members — where she lives now..

“The next thing, one of us will be dead. We don’t know. We have moved, and I have not given my address to family members. We just don’t know,” she said.

Wilder lost her sister, Jennifer Jeffrey-Browne, 31, and nephew, 7-year-old Kester “Tony” Browne, last month when the mother and son were found shot to death in their Southwest Baltimore home.

The Brownes are two of the city’s 144 homicide victims in the first six months of the year, a 48 percent increase over last year. Much of the surge in violence has come in the aftermath of the April 19 death of Freddie Gray, which touched off protests, rioting, looting and arson in the city. (more…)

MACON, Ga. — Authorities in central Georgia say up to 50 teenagers bent on destruction raced into a Wal-Mart in Macon, smashing merchandise and causing an estimated $2,000 in damage.

Bibb County sheriff’s officials say some of the young people snatched a man from a motorized shopping cart and dragged him to the floor during the rampage around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Sheriff’s officials said one of the teens later told a Wal-Mart employee the goal was to see how much damage they could cause. Sheriff’s officials say floors were coated with broken merchandise. (more…)
