Shellie Zimmerman sat down with ABC for an interview. ABC of all outlets? The same organization which manipulates edits in interviews to sell a specific narrative. Look at what they did to juror B-29. Why sit down with ABC? Unreal…..
The article below, which ABC is using as the precursor, is generally the interviewer, Christi O’Conner’s descriptions of what Shellie Zimmerman said. So take that for what it’s worth….

( VIA ABC ) The Florida investigative journalist who is the first reporter to sit down with George Zimmerman’s wife, Shellie, said that during their “stunning” hour long interview, the acquitted killer’s wife said that her husband has “beaten down her self-esteem,” but she is “looking forward to getting her life back.”
Christi O’Connor spoke with ABCNews.com today about her experience locking down an interview with Shellie Zimmerman as the media focused its attention on her husband, who was acquitted of second-degree murder charges in the death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old, in Sanford, Fla., in February 2012. When asked why George Zimmerman was not in the courtroom for his wife’s plea hearing Wednesday, Sims would only say, “That’s an excellent question.” (link)
Shellie Zimmerman misled the court because she had been told by others to say “maybe that’s not my money,” her attorney, Kelly Sims, said after the hearing. (link)

He was acquitted now he wants more: #GeorgeZimmerman to ask state to pay $200k-$300k of his legal expenses. #Trayvon. http://t.co/mPrqxbF3IJ

She just can’t seem to stop herself…. even now. “He wants more”? Really Rene? Really?
ORLANDO – George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who killed Trayvon Martin, plans to ask the state of Florida to cover $200,000 to $300,000 of his legal expenses, his attorney told the Orlando Sentinel Monday evening.
Because Zimmerman was acquitted, state law requires Florida to pay all his legal costs, minus the biggest one: the fee that goes to his lawyers.
That includes the cost of expert witnesses, travel, depositions, photocopies, even that animated 3-D video that defense attorneys showed jurors during closing argument that depicts Trayvon punching Zimmerman.
Defense attorney Mark O’Mara said Monday that he would soon prepare a motion, asking Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson to authorize the payments.
That motion, he said “is in the works.” (more…)
SANFORD FLORIDA — Attorneys for George Zimmerman’s wife, Shellie Zimmerman, have deferred a hearing that was supposed to take place Wednesday. Instead, a status conference on her upcoming trial will be held next week.
Shellie Zimmerman is facing perjury charges for lying in court about how much money the couple had during a bond hearing for her husband. Her perjury case was put on hold until after her husband’s murder trial. [… because it is ridiculous /SD]
Those expected to testify at her upcoming trial include George’s sister, a court reporter and investigators from the state attorney’s office. (link)

Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, and a legion of like-minded grievance specialists, is/are trying to get Stand Your Ground (self-defense) laws removed from twenty six states who currently have such laws on the books.
This is not a new proposition for the ideological fellowship. They have been working on this for a few years now. Actually, the backstory of SYG opposition prior to the Trayvon Martin shooting helps to understand why they chose to use the Martin incident as their springboard.
The Coalition To Stop Gun Violence, which is actually a stealth gun removal team, released a PSA to support their endeavors. To say the PSA is a false construct is a massive understatement:
There are actually multiple grievance issues in current alignment. The Trial Lawyers Association do not like ‘Stand Your Ground’ because it provides for financial immunity in your defense; thereby eliminating the possibility of wrongful death lawsuits.
However, the Black Racial Grievance Industry, the social engineers, have perhaps the most absurd of all alignment positions.

First the FAIL – TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Florida’s Republican-controlled Legislature is coming out solidly against a special session to repeal the state’s “stand your ground” law.
The Department of State on Wednesday released a list that showed more than half of the state’s 160-member Legislature has already voted against the idea.
The vote was triggered earlier after 33 legislators asked for a special session in writing. They were urged to do so by the Dream Defenders group, which is upset with the July verdict in the George Zimmerman case.
Under an obscure state law, the written requests required an official poll. A yes vote by three-fifths of the Legislature would have resulted in a special session. (more)

Interesting and VERY comprehensive construction of the George Zimmerman story by a South African Journalist – James Myburgh. A “mere snippet” reflects:
[…] In the chapter on “national delusions” in his 1852 work Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, Charles MacKay noted how “In reading the history of nations, we find that, like individuals, they have their whims and their peculiarities; their seasons of excitement and recklessness, when they care not what they do. We find that whole communities suddenly fix their minds upon one object, and go mad in its pursuit; that millions of people become simultaneously impressed with one delusion, and run after it, till their attention is caught by some new folly more captivating than the first. “
The Trayvon Martin story is a case study in how, even in the modern day, an advanced industrialised democracy can completely lose its senses; and how difficult it is for it to then recover them. In this particular matter a whole society seemingly fixed its mind on the one object of having George Zimmerman arrested, convicted and sent to jail for life, in reckless disregard of the evidence and the law. The mainstream media, so-called civil rights organisations, the Democrat President of the US, the US Attorney General, the Republican Governor of Florida and his Attorney General, and State Attorney Angela Corey all combined forces in an effort to destroy a single, isolated individual. WASHINGTON DC – Newly uncovered Democratic anti-NRA talking points urge anti-gun advocates and politicians to hype high-profile gun incidents like the Florida slaying of Trayvon Martin to win support for new gun control laws.

In talking points likely followed by top Democratic leaders including President Obama after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in December, the anti-gun “guide” urged gun foes to speak out when a shooting “creates a unique climate” to shout down the National Rifle Association. (more…)
Good article at American Thinker – with one flaw. The last line.
Learning from Rachel Jeantel – To quote Nancy Pelosi, we can now see what’s in the Zimmerman-Martin case “without the fog of the controversy”. I think the biggest lesson to be learned was from Rachel Jeantel, a friend of Trayvon Martin that testified at the trial.

Rachel Jeantel has just had her 15 minutes. Predictable packaged responses full of defensive fury were covered very well by Thomas Lifson’s AT article. The left has exhausted her value by attacking and chiding all white people about the racist thoughts they have decided we are feeling. They skipped the fact-gathering and evidence stage and went right for the punishment in a fawning and self-righteous defense of someone not really under attack. I have to hand it to libs, they stand by their own and as long as anyone remembers the girl’s name, she will be one of their own. Their message regarding Ms. Jeantel is: (more…)
