Secretary of State Marco Rubio appeared on Fox News last night for a discussion of current geopolitical events. The segment starts with an open-ended question about updates to the terror plot surrounding RAF Fairford base in the U.K against U.S. military targets.
Secretary Rubio was very measured in his response, noting he could not discuss too much and did not want to get out ahead of the investigation; however, he did confirm the terrorism plot “clearly involves the hands of a foreign actor.” People in American and the U.K are puzzled by the British authority position to release the suspects on bail, less than 24 hours after they were arrested. Everything surrounding this event is very weird. WATCH:

Here’s a comment for you. The residents of the area around the base have been kicked out of their houses and the criminals who brought who knows what kind of explosives or whatever are free. Beware the Brit in all things they are not your friends.

Used to be that a comment with 3 or more web links would be prevented from posting by the spam filter that used that as a criterion to judge “this is probably spam”. Moderators didn’t look at your comment and judge “we’re gonna delete this guy’s comment”
Then there are “offensive word” filters
I used to have to code words such as r@pe when I was posting about a news article, otherwise my comment would be caught by the offensive word filter and fail to post

Rubio would still be correct in saying “Foreign Actors” if it’s the British who helped with this caper, which IMO appears to be a test run. Next time the vans are likely to be full of drones once the planes are in. It doesn’t appear to be a good idea to have our planes out in the open in a country like the UK any longer. Perhaps it doesn’t seem to be a good idea to have them in the UK at all, especially if on a whim, the British government will not allow us to use the base when we need it.
Should we even be sharing our intelligence with the Brits at the same level as we always have?

Something tells me President Trump KNOWS the British were in on this. Our bombers had been moved. The President said, “We have been watching these guys.” With solid proof, President Trump could tell the British he will divulge ALL proof of their betrayal of the USA if the Brits keep it up.

I think it’s mostly because they have opened their borders to the followers of Mohammed who now seem to be mostly in control of that country so many of our ancestors came from.
Yep, my English ancestors started arriving on the Mayflower, then the rest of them were in New England by 1700. That’s on Dad’s side. My Mom arrived as a 20 yr old in 1922, escaping the Russian Revolution.
Still hard to ignore this incident came on the heals of the US Commander of NATO calling the EU to provide proof, of the EU’s claim of the Russian Boogieman preparing to conduct hybrid warfare vs EU members.
To date NO PROOF has been offered even via the MSM to answer the NATO Commander’s request.
The only proof offered so far has been the BS NEWSMAX story of … a RUMOR, of a CIA report that might exist, that might have been delivered to the director of the CIA … then a follow-up by Briebart that reworded the NEWSMAX story … both also adding hype of some EU member clutching their prayer beads.
The NEWSMAX story actually was the one that spawned the US NATO commander to demand proof of the EU claims.
And the hands of the foreign actors are the EU and UK among some local U.S. actors.
Obviously the base security was on lunch sipping tea with their biscuits.
Base security would NOT normally be driving off base territory onto local streets. Luckily, that local young lady was astute enough and apparently, the area had already been warned of potential attacks so she acted ! Need many more like her!!
Our five eyes “allies” are not our friends. It’s past time to drastically alter this “special relationship”.
While this episode may fizzle out due to no more follow-up, it is troubling that the EU-UK was willing to go this far to conduct an operation vs a US asset to create necessary headlines and “evidence”.
Can’t help but think and be highly concerned as to what may be tried next.
Just as happened in Garland, TX in 2015 when an off duty policeman foiled a terror attack supported by the Obama FBI … we were lucky that some British civilian stumbled onto the operation in progress and was brave as well as persistent enough to call in the LOCAL COPS (who were not read into the operation after she got NO ANSWERS from the MI-5 Hotline and RAF Base Security numbers).

I hope Marco Rubio is the next president. If there was a fire in the building, he’d pull a fire extinguisher out of his coat pocket. He’s extremely knowledgeable about what’s going on in the world; he’s absolutely presidential material no doubt about it. Compare and contrast that to a Democrat trying to handle all this or even former Republican presidents trying to do what President Trump has done. Impossible.

Phoning the police on yourself smells of M16 involvement, possibly in the whole plot.

No one in the media has asked the question, “Was US Military Intelligence consulted before the British police decided to release the suspected terrorists?” Newsmax did an article today quoting the President as saying he was surprised the British would release them, that he knew exactly who they were, and he would not have released them. He declined to elaborate.
It appears there is treachery afoot. The question is, is it within the British law enforcement arm, or within US Military Intelligence, or both? It seems we have to rely on the host country to supply security for the parameter outside our bases? If that is the case we need to get the Greenland bases ready yesterday and then exit the EU. We should not be relying on countries who have been compromised with a large Islamic voter block to provide security for our military bases. If they won’t allow us to use our own military personnel to provide security for the parameter around our bases, then they don’t deserve to have our military there protecting them.
Too bad we don’t have an FBI or CIA that we can trust.
It would seem the time is near for the U.S. to adjust the relationship with England. I don’t believe this will be the last “incident” of this type in England.
