For those waiting patiently for the USMCA termination announcement, this is a potential indication and/or signal of pendency.
When President Trump and USTR Jamieson Greer send the official notification, a six-month countdown clock begins running. As of right now there are no official statements that indicate the likely triggering, it’s a guess. However, there are datapoints aligning in that direction.
No one outside our assembly has contemplated the termination of the USMCA (CUSMA) or what would occur in the aftermath; however, the Bank of Canada has gamed out the financial consequences, briefly in their forward guidance. The ramifications are significant, perhaps more significant than any other global trade announcement.
[…] “it more likely that a new shock or a combination of shocks could cause several vulnerabilities to crystalize at once. If this were to happen, these vulnerabilities could interact and reinforce each other.
A cascading series of events could cause a sharp loss of investor confidence and lead to a spike in demand for liquidity or rapid asset sales. Funding markets could come under pressure, and stress could spread more broadly.” [SOURCE]
I suggest we keep a close eye on all U.S-Mexico discussions, as well as geopolitical leverage points that might surface in the U.S-Mexico relationship. My best guess is that once the U.S. and Mexico come to renewed terms on the ‘USMCA’ as a potential bilateral free trade agreement, that will be the moment when the planets are aligned for the termination notification.
The financial markets in Canada are tied directly to the independent strength of the Canadian economy. Which is to say, the financial system in Canada is dependent on historic ties to the United States. Pull out all of the dependencies within the economy, a result of a fracturing of the “geopolitical relationship,” and suddenly the Bank of Canada faces a “cascading series of events” they have not previously had to entertain.
A significant number of multinational corporations within Canada are geographically centered due to American proximity and the dependency that has historically been considered a partnership. That relationship has now changed, and despite Mark Carney saying that Canada can be stronger standing alone, there is no economic model for Canada to retain its wealth position without the inherent subsidy that proximity to America provides.
There is no ‘partnership’ with Europe and/or China, or a combination of partnerships, that can replace the one-way nature of the subsidies from the U.S. economy that Canada enjoys.
If the Canadian people, workers and companies therein, have to rely on their own domestic economic activity to fund their GDP, their lifestyle will have to modify in very significant ways.
Now, I want you to think about the Bank of Canada’s previous statement against the backdrop of this announcement yesterday:
The Dutch central bank (DNB) has transferred approximately 86 metric tons of gold out of the U.S. and Canada to the U.K., seeking to shore up its contingency planning in view of “increasing geopolitical unrest.”
Just over one-quarter of the central bank’s gold reserves held in New York and Ottawa had been shifted to London between March and August, DNB said Wednesday. [SOURCE]
Prepare your affairs accordingly.

Let the termination commence!
It’s time for Canada to “get busy living or get busy dying.”

All too well

Time for Mom/Dad to kick the 40 year old deadbeat son out of the basement!
Ummm… maybe hire a 24/7 guard first!
That exact situation got an entire 7-8 member family killed and their house burned to the ground last week.
Think MAID is bad in Canada now? Wait until their economy collapses and they can no longer afford their socialized medicine. Every child with a disability, every adult that cannot contribute, every elderly person will have a target on them.
ouch. great and scary point….
5% of all deaths in Canada are the result of euthanasia. Disgusting!
Already?
yes; already.
Some like to call it for what it is… MURDER!
I remind my wife all the time that we have got to take care of ourselves because the Medical Industrial Complex in the U.S. doesn’t give a damn about the elderly.
That number could be as high as 25% if you count abortion and Death By Communist Health Non-Care.
What is the source of this data?
Since legalization, the number of euthanasia deaths in Canada has steadily grown every year and showed little sign of slowing down. Between 2016 and 2023, over 60,000 Canadians have been euthanized, with over 15,000 in 2023 alone. Euthanasia now accounts for 4.7% of all deaths in the country, a rate second only to the Netherlands. Euthanasia is now the fifth most common cause of death in Canada.
The most commonly cited reasons for a euthanasia request are the loss of ability to engage in meaningful activities (over 95%) or to perform activities of daily living (over 83%). Just under 60% cite inadequate pain control (or fear of it). Over 20% cite isolation and loneliness, and for those not nearing death, the number was nearly 50%. Nearly half note that they feel like a burden on family, friends, or caregivers.

[It sounds like it is mostly used for people who are depressed, not people with genuine terminal illness.]
I wonder why they are depressed? /s
Wait until the Lazy ass Immigrants can’t get any benefits, then all hell will break loose.
Just make sure what happens in Canada, stays in Canada!
I keep saying….we need to build a northern wall.
YES!
They will probably shift the program to allow beheading of infidels by Muslims immigrants. To save money, of course.
Speaking of…….
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/09/canadas-assisted-suicide-laws-go-overboard-as-godless/
It was godless to begin with, executing undesirable children is the next step, then next will be forced suicides.
When life has no value all life is fair game.
Soylent Green with maple syrup
That is very sad, but oh so funny!
Well then start with Carney. He’s the most undesirable person I can think of right now.
Well, as long as the MAID “doctors” are bilingual in French and English then all is good. That’s What Matters.
My guess is that the Chinese, India-Indian, and Northern African people will be left alone.
Scary thing, they already have a target drawn on them. 😳
They won’t have to waste any money on the children as the women will take care of that.
Mass suicide, liberal eat there own
Well, bye!
I have no data, but I suspect MAID is only a native population phenomena. The recent imported cultures do not participate in it.
I recall before the huge importations, the Canadian population was about the same size as Los Angeles, about 23 million. Now it’s what 35 million? Millions of culture enrichers have moved in.
A MAID wipe away of millions of True North Canadians will have a big cultural effect I imagine.
The Canadian dollar will crash. What will happen to the overblown Vancouver real estate market?
Wait until Canadian economy does crash and all those cultural enhancement invaders will head here and it will make the Ceuta debacle look like a piñata game at child’s birthday party.
I’ve been saying for weeks we need to build a northern wall!
Yes, you have, and I have always agreed with you!
Horrific!
and that will be one of the first cuts, made no doubt.
Don’t most middle class Canadians come to America for surgery needs rather than waiting 3-4 years for their socialized medicine eligibility to kick in? Won’t that change if the middle class is squeezed financially?

Oh yeah? How about this!
And all they have to do to avoid the pain is sign the deal they already agreed to with the US, before Carney made up a bunch of “my dog ate my homework” excuses. He clearly takes his orders from London, and has been directed to tank the Canadian economy in their last gasp attempt to stop 47’s reinstitution of the Hamiltonian American System.
I expect 47 is timing the announcement for maximum impact. When would that moment be, to have the most impact? I am not well enough informed to guess.
The next iteration of a trade deal will not be as generous to Canada where their delegation blew it up for domestic politics, among other reasons. And there’s no one else to blame but themselves.
Meanwhile, America is making good deals with other nations that want our business. The longer Canada waits to make an earnest deal, the less of a niche they can reserve that was not already called for by other parties sealing trade deals with America ahead of them.
🎯 The City of London Corporation and the WEF and CCP above that who are Carney’s visible puppet masters.
I don’t want to burden you with yet another of my walls o’ text 😉, so here’s a link to info I’ve gathered on Carney for some more details – 3 posts, if of interest.
It covers his education, high society connections, career in FI, political career and the Great Green Grift he instigated while at Brookfield. This is what he’s currently leveraging as PM to further his goal to become a billionaire at any cost.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2026/08/18/president-trump-pauses-50-percent-tariffs-against-canada-hours-before-effect/#comment-12760470
He was told not to sign the deal by the City of London.
It doesn’t affect the city of London as much as it will affect the people in small towns. you pick the town, you pick the province. Those are the ones who will take it in the shorts, with their shorts still pulled up.
” When would that moment be, to have the most impact?”
It would have had the most impact on the mid-term “elections” if announced on the day Carney gave his “my dog ate my homework” excuses.
Every day the President waits, the impact is lessened…
The President must start doing some positive things now, before the “elections”…

I have Canadian relatives and every time we would bring an expensive wedding gift up there, like a Kitchen Aid mixer, we would have to hide them in the car somewhere so the Canadian customs inspectors would not see them and potentially charge us duty. I also noted that cars were more expensive up there than in the States. I would ask my relatives “Why don’t you buy cars down here in the US”? “We don’t because the added duties we would have to pay would exceed the price of the car up here”. I’m going back as far as the late fifties and the early sixties. This trade imbalance has been going on for a very long times.
I remember as a kid my mother would drive us up to see my uncle and cousins in Montreal from Massachusetts.
As a kid I could never figure out what a duty free shop was.
I just remember my mom filling up our gas tank before we got into Canada.
I also remember my uncle would buy everything down here in the states like a VCR and other electronics.
He had one of those old Chrysler vans and he would hide all the stuff in the van.
Fun memories.
What country’s or countries’ gold was it?
Netherlands, Dutch gold
Leprechaun’s
Z mans gold
The grift must continue
Here is a good, factual breakdown of what the Dutch central bank just did:
Ya, ok … International standards bs the EU is gabbing anything of value they can and park it in Londonistan … They will be back for the other 18% soon.
Thank you. Very informative.
The Eurotrash on YouTube are all over the comments saying they DNB did this because the USA can’t be trusted. Little do they know they’re going to be funding WWIII with that gold. The DNB knows.
And they may find themselves tromping around this winter in the frozen tundra, wondering what the H***?
Great find in that Clive Thompson video. Thanks.
No political turmoil in the UK? You may want to re-boot that thought process.

Ten years of zero economic growth in Canada with the moronic Liberals in power, while allowing millions of immigrants to enter the country can only mean a decreasing GDP per capita.
Life is hard, it’s even harder if your stupid,
-The Duke
Sounds kinda like Obama + Biden. TG for PDJT!
you’re. I’m sure you meant to use “you’re” as in “it’s even harder if you are stupid.”
You’re is a contraction of ‘you are’. ‘Your’ is a whole nother word …
I’m not Canadian, but how does one prepare for what appears to be an expected economic collapse?
The movement of the gold could imply that London is actively anticipating it.
How will this affect our stock markets and gas prices. This certainly seems well timed for the our mid terms.
It is shocking to me how openly our governments are working against us. Just because the media is t reporting on it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
stacking pm’s is essential
post the upcoming ff, they’ll tank the indexes by 60-80%
it’s not if, but when
plan accordingly
I sincerely appreciate the tip.
Is that for both Canada and US?
worldwide economic calamity, extremely probable
western country economic crisis a certainty
brought about by the unamed that orchestrated the shamdemic
I don’t want to believe that, but it seems to be the goal. Raid all the coffers, crash the system and then demand electronic currency they can control. Oh … and buy back cheap.
Hopefully Trump has positioned them to fail. He certainly changed the dynamics of the game board.
I wish our Congress and judiciary were not our adversaries.
I wish our Congress and judiciary were not our adversaries.
Better get to the store and buy bread and milk
I posted yesterday that it seems the globalist actions indicate they are desperate for cash. Stealing the Russian Wealth Fund, false flag operations that bring in immediate cash, nationalizing infrastructure – all follow a same desperate pattern of needing cash.
Are they planning a bank run to grab money from Canadian bank depositors? Did they already steal the depositors money and need a crisis to cover it up?
This seems like increasingly desperate moves to cover their existing losses.
Carney doent care. He can just move back to London and leave Canada in ruins.
Doesn’t Canada have something like the DNC have that they could put up for collateral?
Forgot the /s ending. My bad.
I think most of us got it. 😉
China is also looking for cash. They are going after wealthy Chinese.
those who cannot be named are never desperate for cash
they control the printing presses
and strap future generations with the bill
I think they’re looking for an excuse to fire up the printing press in a way that distracts the masses enough that they don’t lose what little faith there is in the fiat system. Before people realize the system is cooked, TPTB will buy up as many assets as they can with that worthless paper. That way, when they fire up the new system, they have all of the valuable assets. At this point, people need to cut every extra cost in their budget and buy things that have actual intrinsic value to protect themselves and their family.
they’re not so much interested in having more money
they control the presses
if they need more, they simply print more
their ultimate goal is for you and i to have none
a market crash, the likes never before experienced is a certainty
the timing is less certain, but zero doubts it’s coming
aren’t we past due a ff?
You got it. It is not that TPTB want more, they want us to have less… of everything.
Ursula Fond of Lying did make some kind of statement recently saying that the EU was looking into confiscating the savings of the member states’ hoi – polloi, estimated to be worth 10 trillion Euros. This was done at the national level by Greece about 10 to 15 years ago. Shades of Felonia Von Pantsuit (Mrs. Clinton) wanting to seize 401k holdings to fund Clintoncare. “But that money is just sitting there!”
Prepare accordingly is the best advice.
Those who don’t pay attention to the world around them will have the toughest time.
“Prepare accordingly,” is only good advice if it’s specifically outlined. Most of us do not know how to begin to “prepare accordingly.”
Perhaps one of you can make a list.
I agree. It sounds very ominous and I don’t have a clue. 😕
There is an excellent starting point here at TCTH.
Sundance is an experienced expert in prepping for hurricanes and has shared numerous articles.
Tailor the prep to economic rather than weather and start there.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/08/21/reminder-of-some-less-familiar-disaster-and-hurricane-prep-tips/#more-250151
You can search through the various hurricane articles using the search function at the top of the page.
Perhaps we can interest Sundance in sharing his thoughts on weathering a world wide economic crash
Anything Canadian will become a bargain for us as their dollar tanks.
We need to seal the border so we don’t suddenly get millions of economic refugees.
When you say Canadian, what might be a no-brainer choice?
The biggest deterrent would be new tariffs that make Canadian items too expensive even with a stronger Dollar. Since the tariffs have already taken effect I think any bargains to be had would involve physically going across the border and trying to bring them back without being discovered or more practically consuming them while in Canada (food, hotels, clothing that will look worn – think shoe soles – by the time you come back).
Look for exempt items or products already stateside but held by Canadian owned companies who want cash ASAP (as opposed to American owned stores that already purchased the merchandise).
Perishable items like food will be heavily discounted so it don’t become worthless after the expiration date.
Travel (hotels, dining) would become cheaper if you want to go behind “enemy” lines. : )
Maybe stock up on clothing once prices drop like boots and leather goods that will last for years.
Nanuk (similar to Pelican brand here) are well made camera and gear cases and trunks.
Pharmaceuticals that are already cheaper there.
I have avoided Canadian products for years because of their smug attitude. Was interrogated like a criminal the few times I went there for freelance work even though I was being paid by an American client. Wasn’t stealing a job from a Hoser. I’m looking forward to seeing their Customs officers laid off for lack of commerce.
I know nothing about investments. Sorry. Don’t have that kind of excess income to gamble.
I am on my way South ( it is just a five minute drive😉) We will be looking for a nice place to rent 😎
We here in Canada are in unchartered waters..oddly enough ( or not) our Canadian Bank Stocks, have been on a huge run up of late.
cheers to all the sane Americans here.
I’m not a financial person by any stretch, but the term “pump and dump” comes to mind.
I wish you well, Dekester. I’m sorry this is happening!
It seems ‘voting with your feet’ is the only immediate way to address the failures of government. Places to relocate have become extremely limited. And, of course, relocation takes $$$.
The US, under PDJT is one of the few remaining. When people who comment here whine about how PDJT is or isn’t doing this and that, or how whatever is such a failure, I just roll my eyes. We’ve been so blessed with this window in time.
Perhaps the thinking by investors is that the writing is on the wall, Canada is going to have to invest massively in its infrastructure, and that the banks will be first in line to finance the build out?
Wish you and yours do okay during this mess.
Wishing you and yours well in your travels, and rental hunt.
The movement of gold is telling.
Though, last I knew silver was undervalued compared to the historical ratios for the spread between gold and silver.
There are other precious metals that might be worth looking into, not that I would have any particular insights regarding detailed pricing points. Those are mostly Platinum group metals that include, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, palladium and osmium.
I am heavily invested in precious metals. Brass, lead, and copper.
Those metals may be the most important if everything else collapses. 😏
Especially those shaped like ammo.
Martin Armstrong (dubbed ‘The Forecastor” in a movie released a few years ago, but USA would not allow it to be shown here) did an interview on RT last month where he’s forecast gold will reach $7K/$8K by 2032, maybe even as high as $11K. His Socrates system has had accurate forecasts for 40+ yrs. sorry, no link.
Read the Promethean Action updates for this week. They explain who has been pulling the strings of destruction. We can literally THANK GOD for PDJT!!!
FWIW, I bought put January 2027 options on an ETF that tracks the Canadian stock market (ECW) back in February. Doubled my position in July.
Of course, their stocks just keep going up since then, so the options are almost worthless today.
In order for me to break-even now, their market needs to drop by 30% before January.
Since I have terrible luck, I expect their market will collapse in February after I lose all of my investment.
Mexico and Canada have nothing at all in common – except for one wee, small thing. Both have been shamelessly used as “cardboard box shuffling services” by China. And, China has convinced both countries to call it, “trade.”
Truth is: it is “exploitation.” And, not by either of them. They are not winning. Their people do not benefit.
These two countries should not attempt to be tied to each other. “One size does not fit all.”
The USA should firmly push back against this “transshipment” practice, and demand that each of these two countries negotiate individual agreements. Ones that are truly appropriate for their situation, and that actually benefit them.
If they “actually win,” so do we.
It really should be obvious how different the two countries are. Mexico is partly tropical, while Canada is partly arctic. As I said, the only thing that has “tied” them is that both possess ports, shipping cartons, strapping tape, and “Made in [X]” stamps that mean nothing. Both of you can do much better than that. “Go ahead. Try …”
Again, it just seems that unless the Canadian leadership is incredibly stupid (I mean really, really stupid) they are hoping for a shift in the political landscape in November to completely neuter the 47 administration. Plus there will be immediate steps taken to remove 47 altogether. Canada and their EU partners will try something, anything because ending the USMCA will cascade across to the EU financially and politically. EU nations are already under tremendous strain on both fronts.
Hence the increasingly aggressive push to draw us into a full scale NATO vs Russia war.
There are two important meetings coming up. The timing of the Dublin meeting is interesting.
The first on Sept 16-17 where Carney will address the EU Parliament in Strasbourg.
The second will be held at the end of October in Dublin.
BRUSSELS — Canada’s Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu has been invited to join his EU counterparts for talks in Dublin at the end of October, his spokesperson confirmed to POLITICO — potentially alongside U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.
Although Sidhu’s attendance hasn’t been officially confirmed, he is expected to participate in the informal meeting of EU trade ministers, according to his spokesperson, Huzaif Qaisar. Greer has also been invited, but he too has yet to confirm.
https://www.politico.eu/article/canada-invited-to-ireland-for-eu-talks-alongside-trumps-trade-envoy/&ved=2ahUKEwjg372xq9OWAxVlHIYAHd6DA6AQFnoECCMQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3FLl7NvCb6WhYqXNHkTpWZ
9/17 is U.S. Constitution Day.
“No one outside our assembly has contemplated the termination of the USMCA(CUSMA)or what would occur on the aftermath….”
NAFTA was an architecturally stupid agreement that only benefited China. Its successor was intended (by the USA) to be a temporary stepping stone.
What now needs to happen, for these very different countries, is two things:
(1) Termination of the “transshipment” deals which do not benefit them at all. If something says “Made in [X],” then it must (gasp!) be actually made there.
(2) Negotiation of real trade terms, two of them. Each of which are tailored to their unique situation, and genuinely(!) “mutually beneficial.”
Leave China by the wayside. They have done absolutely nothing for either of you.
“Make [Canada|Mexico] Great … Again!”
But China has done plenty TO both. In this and in many other ways which are existentialist threatening. Cutting out a cancer completely used to be considered a good thing.
Some people look at “trade” and see only: “Dollars.”
And specifically: in their [secret(?)] bank accounts . . .
“I spy with my little eye,” warns the phenomenal Scott Bessent 😎👍🏻
That Sundance quote is a frightening statement for one who actually wants it to happen.
Have we imagined it out of whole cloth?
Shouldn’t everybody around the President be contemplating it?
And with all the leaks inherent in DC, shouldn’t a lot of other people be contemplating it too?
I tried reading this into Trump’s press response in last night’s posting. I could spin his words into him contemplating ending CUSMA. But it wasn’t really in his words.
Same is true for the Truth that starts this post out. Unexplained bad things. Natural consequences? Trump’s response?
I want it. But I don’t see it happening. Not even as a threat to bring Canada in line.
And I am getting impatient.
First, Jim….and I’m only guessing, I believe those closest to President Trump ARE contemplating it, and the agenda going forward before any announcement is in place. But I suspect outside of these few, just like the initial Iran bombing which was planned down to last detail which took everyone by surprise, that agenda and its timing known by that select and trusted few is leak proof.
Second, trying to read what President Trump is thinking from his posts is probably a futile errand.
I think it is a very good thing that no one seems to believe an announcement of the US withdrawal from USMCA is being considered. The element of surprise and all that…plus can you think the intellect in DC and its attendant propaganda affiliates are even aware of that small “get out” clause? That any have actually read or understand it at all?
Just guessing that they have not and do not, so focused and marinated in their hatred of PDJT are they. I’m only guessing.
President Trump and his able lieutenants whom he has chosen wisely are attempting something which has needed doing for decades…disentangling America from an evil, manipulative system which has strangled her and her citizens.
This a war on a different level, and my view is that the General gives nothing away, unless it is to throw the enemy/enemies off course in a different direction.
As for patience, I was born with none, dear sir. Age, circumstances over which we have no control, and frustration haven’t helped matters.Never mind the fury we all feel watching corruption, malfeasance, and criminality walking around, confidant that they are escaping the consequences of their treachery and sabotage.
God above has this in hand, I’m so sure. It helps to keep saying this to myself over and over. If He did not, President Trump wouldn’t be sitting on the CoC chair. But he is…
Knowing this isn’t a cure all for my impatience, but it is tempered by remembering it. What will be will be, we cannot hurry it. Timing and preparation for what is planned is imperative, not a quick or easy process.
My view only while we wait. Each day moves us closer to reclaiming our Republic, free of malevolent forces which have worked so hard to destroy it. God be with the only man who is capable of seeing it through.
I think Trump is giving Carney (the expression) enough rope so that he’ll hang himself. Ditto for the EU and Ukraine problem.
Thanks Betsy.
All heck is going to break look in the markets, globally, I would think so he might wait until after midterms. then again he downn’t backdown from anything.
“All heck is going to break look in the markets, globally, …”
It was my sense that that is what Sundance means to warn us about.
Actually Canadian firms are gaming out this very scenario:
https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/u-cusma-exit-severe-not-090002856.html
‘U.S. CUSMA exit would be ‘severe but not cataclysmic’ for Canada: Deloitte report’
“The worst scenario would be the dissolution of CUSMA, which the report’s authors call “a possibility that cannot be dismissed.” The U.S. accounted for about 70 per cent of Canada’s exports in 2025.
“If that were to happen, Canada’s real gross domestic product would fall by 1.6 per cent, or $402 billion, over the next decade relative to the status quo baseline — U.S. tariff levels as of July 1 of this year and CUSMA intact. It projects employment would shrink by 163,000 jobs annually on average, dragging wages and consumer spending along with it…
“”The bottom line is a severe but not cataclysmic impact on Canada’s overall economy, although perhaps cataclysmic for some sectors,” wrote Stewart and co-authors Danielle Bochove and Trevin Stratton.
“Deloitte research from 2025 suggests that completely phasing out interprovincial trade barriers over five years would generate an additional $881 billion in economic output by 2040 and create 133,000 new jobs.”
Canadians are also aware of a possible annexation:
https://x.com/clashreport/status/2095238699453927896
A reporter asked U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Commander Adm. Samuel Paparo, “Under what circumstances would you obey an order to launch military action against Canada?”
Paparo called the scenario “absolutely and utterly preposterous” and the question “needlessly emotional.”
When pressed further, Paparo said, “Would you ask me please also what my attack plans are for the Martians?”
Wow. Talk about painting a poop.
“Deloitte research from 2025 suggests that completely phasing out interprovincial trade barriers over five years would generate an additional $881 billion in economic output by 2040 and create 133,000 new jobs.“
They could likely create many new jobs next year if they had worked with Trump to access American markets. Just
oil and gas alone would bring in billions.
Assuming that is what Carney & Co actually want.
I don’t believe it is.
Neither do I. They “could” do it, but they choose not to.
I’m just pointing out the article’s optimistic assessment is gaslighting. Canada could get better results tomorrow by signing a legit deal to fairly trade in the gigantic US market.
I understood you didn’t, Elle.
Information from many sources is useful and adds context, comprehension, and discernment.
As in exposing the actual motives of faithless so called “leaders” like Carney.
Who wouldn’t want that sort of economic growth and prosperity for his country, one might legitimately ask. And if he doesn’t, why doesn’t he? At that point, reasonable people would begin to smell an awfully big rat….
Or should.
I’m getting the feeling that there aren’t very many of those types of thinking individuals anymore.
Canada is chocked so full of non-canadian turban wearing, asians and Chinese that it would not surprise me that Canada joins arms completely with China. No one in Canada would know the difference.
China is for all intents and purposes Canada’s Daddy.
Canada will curry flavor with the spy-see Chinese
China doesn’t like Muslims, except as slave labor.
The Canadian turban wearers are mostly Sikhs.
That’s interesting you say that. I asked Google why they are different and this seems likely:
“No Local Proselytization: Sikhism is a non-proselytizing faith; Sikhs in China do not attempt to convert local Chinese citizens.“
Two completely different religions. They don’t share the same origins or theology.
Both like to play with knives, though.
yeah, I was struck by my turbanned taxi driver on a ski trip to Vancouver 25 years ago
He hit you or impressed you?!?
Some of you guys on this website are geniuses when it comes to money.
My question is what investment should be done at the moment to get ahead of this?
Does anyone have good advice for what is happening?
Whether it’s buy or sell?
Thanks for anything you have to offer.
Just got back from getting my new Alberta driver’s license. The whole building was full of “new” Canadians including the staff. I had to show a passport to prove that I was born in Alberta. Feeling a little cranky.
Carney looked a little down in the face this morning on CBC. I think the memes are working.
Well it’s good you had to show a passport.
Would say energy. Went into energy stocks heavy when PDT was elected in 2024. Made enough income in the last 6 months to out live my natural lifetime
Not a genius, but if I were investing it would be in oil & gas companies, and metal miners.
see my post above.

Think a lot of the outrage is coordinated with team D to try and gain maximum political spin. It will be interesting to see if the tone changes after the midterms.
Also, is the MX agreement finalized? I could see going slowly until that’s done.
“It will be interesting to see if the tone changes after the midterms.”
The tone will change markedly if the dims/commies take control of our “congress”…
For Example: President Trump will be impeached on day one of the commie control…
If the repulsicans retain control of our “congress”, nothing will change, the repulsicans will still hate President Trump’s guts, will keep Thune, will continue to block his appointments and his programs…
If the repulsicans win congress, President Trump will continue being a “lame duck” President…
Watch all the Pajeets trying to get into the USA.
OMG! They might take over the hotel/motel industry!!!
Oh, wait….
And service stations…….
Minimarts, no service stations anymore!
7/11 will rule the world.
Need to build a northern wall.
Don’t leave your gold in places where it might get confiscated.
100% same with Silver and other high value items
Forget about gold and silver…
Buy ammunition…
When the SHTF, ammo will be worth far more than gold and silver, and will be easier to sell or trade for what you need…
Get your money out while you still can, eh?
The DNB are pretending not to know, that it is the EU that is “increasing geopolitical unrest.”
What has been predictable:
Tariffs: PDJT has had a personal 40-year policy to introduce reciprocal tariffs.
Tariff Escalation: The ‘Reciprocal’ mechanism requires it.
Iran: An ongoing 47-year conflict being brought to a conclusion.
NATO: decades-old talking point about members not contributing appropriately. Now being brought to a conclusion.
Greenland: Denmark admitted the forced sterilisation of thousands of Inuit women, and colonializing Greenland, ‘something’ had to give. PDJT mentioned the idea of buying Greenland, back in 2017.
What has been unpredictable:
The EU is the one that broke a norm. No major power had ever:
Frozen a sovereign’s central bank reserves indefinitelyRedirected the yield to fund a war against that sovereignTied release to a $1 trillion reparations demand
“Frozen a sovereign’s central bank reserves indefinitely”
I think stolen might be more accurate. I suspect that money’s long gone. I am also wondering if they have already stolen their bank depositors money.
Could that be possible if you are the government?
Europe – Greece, Cyprus? – have already done depositor “bail ins” (they take a percentage of your savings deposits) in the last 5-10 years.
saw a video yesterday and ursela wants to do just that with the eu.
I mentioned that in a response to somebody upthread. 10 trillion Euros just “sitting there”.
…off topic; apologies; very important:
DEMS VOTE TO PACK THE SCOTUS
“Democrats’ intentions are not disguised. They mean to pack the court the nanosecond they get the chance.”
[…CBS reported, “House rejects GOP constitutional amendment to limit Supreme Court to 9 justices.” Well. More precisely, House Democrats rejected a constitutional amendment to limit justices to nine…
…No Republican voted against it. Only 1 Democrat, Don Davis (D-NC), voted for it, probably because he got confused and thought he was voting for a day of remembrance for George Floyd.
Democrats’ intentions are not disguised. They mean to pack the court the nanosecond they get the chance. Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said, “Trump’s followers in Congress now seek to freeze into place the political court that MAGA built, for decades to come. Thus, they urge us to give away another critical power that the framers vested in us.”
As I suggested yesterday, it is time to bow to the inevitable. How hilarious would it be if today, the Republicans called for a vote on expanding the court? The Democrats “JUST SAID” it was okay. They called it a “critical power” vested in Congress. They suggested 13 total (four new ones), but I think 21 makes more sense. Don’t do it halfway.
According to Democrats, we wouldn’t even need a constitutional amendment. Just a successful bill.
Come on, Republicans. Give the Democrats and the DSA what they want. Then PRESIDENT TRUMP can appoint all the new justices. It’s “win-win!”..]

If the Founders had intended to “limit,” or “further define,” the Supreme Court that they created in Article 3, then they certainly would have done so.
They necessarily would have created a rule, as they did in defining the apportionment of Representatives in the House. (Or, in the never-enacted Amendment that is “Paragraph #1” in the Bill of Rights document.)
They [purposely …] did not do so. This duty is left to Congress, where it belongs.
Kindly remember that “the first Congress” defined our entire “subordinate judiciary system” in the so-called “Judicial Act.” The Constitution defined only one Court, and left it to Congress to define the rest. The Constitution did not speculate as to what that resulting structure would be. (Or, would become.) The Constitution likewise did not define the constituency of the one Court that it did define: it only asserted that such a Court exists.
Our Founder’s actions in this matter are sensible and wise. We do not require a “Constitutional Amendment.” We simply require a Congress that will actually take its appointed duties seriously.
Yes, the Congress does possess the power to name the number of Justices that will serve on the Supreme Court. And it has exercised that sovereign power in the past, already. (Under the “adverse political winds” that were blowing at those times …)
If Congress attempts to float a “Constitutional Amendment” to avoid performing a duty that is within its appointed Constitutional prerogatives, then it is simply dodging. “It has the power, and therefore, the responsibility.”
President Trump will terminate the USMCA before Canada joins the EU.

Will the EU even let Canada join? The new buzzword “geopolitical” is being bandied about.
Do they consider Canada expendable for the grand globalist cause of bringing Americans to heel?
Have you read about the “Canada Strong Fund”, Miss Elle?
Here’s some information.
Hopefully, my effort to put it in an easily readable format is successful.

Any future involvement of European institutional investors, governments, or public capital would likely be announced later through official government communications or public investment agreements.
The Canada Strong Fund initiative, which broadly focuses on collaboration with trusted international partners on strategic sectors such as critical raw materials and defense, has led to the development of several investment agreements and collaborative frameworks between Canada and European countries.
1. European Investment Bank (EIB) – Canada Cooperation on Critical Raw MaterialsDate & Context:
PDAC 2026 conference, Toronto.
Instrument:
Non-binding Letter of Intent signed between the EIB and the Government of Canada.
Purpose:
To deepen cooperation on the exploration, extraction, processing, recycling, and innovation of critical raw materials.
Objectives:
>Support secure, sustainable, and diversified supply chains for minerals and metals critical to the EU’s green and digital transitions.
>Enable the EIB to operate in Canada consistent with the EU–Canada Strategic Partnership on Raw Materials.
>Potentially mobilize private investment toward high-standard mineral projects.
Scope:
Covers all stages of the critical raw materials value chain, reinforcing EU supply security while benefiting Canadian producers.
Status:
The framework is at the exploratory institutional negotiation stage, and is non-binding, intended to facilitate future investment agreements.
2. EU Security Action for Europe (SAFE) – Canada ParticipationDates:
Negotiations concluded: December 1, 2025.
Council agreement formalized: February 14, 2026.
Instrument:
EU SAFE Defence Investment Instrument (up to €150 billion in loans for defence-related investments).
Purpose:
Facilitate Canadian companies’ participation in EU defence procurement under SAFE.
Objectives:
>Allow Canadian contractors and subcontractors preferential access to procurements across EU Member States, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Ukraine.
>Support EU member states investing in defence manufacturing and address capability gaps.
>Foster joint security and defence collaboration under the EU-Canada Security and Defence Partnership (23 June 2025).
Current Status:
>Ratified agreement now permits Canada to actively participate, setting a precedent as the first non-EU country in SAFE.
3. Cross-Cutting Insights>Both agreements align with the broader goals of the Canada Strong Fund, which emphasizes collaboration with trusted allies on strategic, security-sensitive industries.
>The European initiatives are designed to:
*Strengthen economic and security resilience.
*Enable Canadian investment in EU-aligned strategic sectors.
*Provide institutional frameworks for private and public investment, respecting environmental, social, and governance standards.

Thank you for this info.
Forty years ago, when my husband and I were newly married, we would go to Canada for a vacation because the exchange rate was ridiculously advantageous for us – I seem to remember getting $1.55-1.60 CAD for every $1.00 US. After the passage of NAFTA during the Clinton years, the difference between the two currencies narrowed, and the Canadian government started adding extra taxes onto almost everything so it was no longer the same affordability as it had once been.
While I have sympathy for the relatively small number of Canadians who do understand the situation and are trying to push back, for the most part, their arrogant leadership deserves every bad thing that is coming their way and I, frankly, look forward to the collapse of their economy! Maybe an affordable ski trip to Whistler is in my future after all!
Hi,
We are just across the Washington State border from you, and Washington State plates are to be seen in numerous locations.
At our place on Vancouver Island we chatted with two couples that were driving vehicles with Texas license plates,
one couple had bought place there to escape what they said was oppressive humidity in the summer months.
Two cottages up from a us a couple from Scottsdale Arizona summer there.
Although we are most definitely highly taxed, it is extremely advantageous for frugal Americans to vacation etc here.
Me I am heading into “ the states “ soon to fill up the old truck, which equates roughly to a 40 cent a litre savings..we pay cash from our U.S. $ piggy bank.
Cheers!
I recognize your name, a with Dan Dale, as long time Troopers who understand exactly what is happening with your country and mine!
I wish you well and I pray that somehow we can both get back to the sanity that once drove our policies and prospered both of our nations!
Does anyone else recall when Jeb Bush was running to be the 45th American President?
If you went to his campaign site, you could order a genuine volcanic mortar and pestle for preparing your “Guac” (“Guacamole Dip”) or perhaps you might use it in the preparation of masa for making tortillas or tamales – kind of an odd thing to present on a Presidential campaign website –
cool, right?
I did not think so as it only served to remind me that Bush #41 promoted NAFTA to ultimately help the CCP-PRC to further destroy our own growers and makers, our industries that became part of the Rust Belt.
It reminded me of NAFTA that Jeb Bush was touting, to remind us of his great lineage as a sell-out. It was NOT America First and why in the double-hockey sticks I am seeing avocadoes from Santa Cruz, Chile in the grocery store when I am almost just down the road from all the beautiful California avocado groves of Fallbrook and surrounding communities?
It just irks me SO much to not have a beautiful Haas avocado grown right here in California. That’s the same thing messing up so much, for a “globalist agenda”.
So, what do we need SO much from Canada that is better than what we have here that we are willing to sell out our own growers and makers?
I love President Trump and all his great people standing up for “America First”!
It would be another thing if Prime Minister Carney was really for “Canada First” but he is not . . . what a putz!
Its not like Canada hasn’t been given ample opportunities to make things right for their citizens. Or serfs, you pick.
“Prepare your affairs accordingly”. Explain?
What is the significance of gold being moved from Canada and USA to Europe. Does it signify an economic war will ramp up between USA and European Union/China/New World Order?
What will this mean for USA stock market, economy, currency, etc.
Help a newbie out. 🙂 🙏
See the video I posted in a reply above. It’s a clear and factual explanation without too much over the top speculation.
Thanks 😊
Inflation degrades purchasing power. Currencies issued by countries have lost significant value over time. Central banks and astute folks recognize that unsustainable levels of spending and debt have consequences. This is why central banks have increased their gold holdings in % terms on their balance sheet in lieu of foreign currencies. FDR seized gold in 1933. Canada seized / froze private bank accounts in 2022. The Dutch are not waiting.
CACHICOMA (Canada-Chinese Communists Agreement) ahead!
🤣
Pronounced : Catch-a-Coma.
Beef up the security at borders crossings. The riff raff will leave first. Those that can afford it already have.
I watched Victor Davis Hanson say that Canada has about 41million people and California has about 41million people.
Canada’s GDP is half that of California’s.
Coupled with the lowest economic growth of any western nation.
Not good.
Most of California’s GDP is pure fraud…. the only real advantage they have is weather related, better overall seasons for working. Again most GDP is Fraud related and looting the Taxpayers at large via Govt’ programs.
Since gold was mentioned:
The Netherlands has 612.4 tonnes of gold reserves.
The United States has 8133.46 tonnes of gold reserves.
Mexico has 120.17 tonnes of gold reserves.
Canada has 0 tonnes of gold reserves.
🤔
Nonetheless: “‘Gold’ is symbolic.” Nothing more.
People get paid to schlep gold bars between one room and another in Fort Knox and in various catacombs of New York City, and in the end it means: absolutely nothing.
Don’t worry about Canadian gold. They have Chinese IOU’s for it, I’m sure. They’ll be good for it (wink*wink).
they have no oil reserves either.
Today:
Precious Metals:
• Gold increased 103.83 USD/t oz. or 2.37% to 4,491.61
• Silver increased 1.718 USD/t. oz. or 2.63% to 67.035

Happy babies and happy dogs – both so good for the heart!!
Sundance – Carney wants economic collapse – Trump is missing that as well. Economic collapse – which will be blamed on Trump – will allow Carney to introduce every Globalist policy he ever desired. UBI, Digital ID, CBDCs, Carbon rations etc etc.
Right out of the Marxist playbook, to burn everything to ashes, then rule over it. They never change…
It doesn’t bode well for retaining the USMCA, or as the Canadians like to say CAUSM trade agreement, when high ranking members of the Canadian company openly state that Canada is in a state of war with the United States of America.
C’mon Canadians, please wake up and take back your government from these war-mongering sell-offs to China, India and whatever other nation has sent unknown numbers of its citizens to occupy your lands.
And ‘native’ Canadians, do you really not think that China, once it has run out of MAIDing the white Canadians for its underground organ transplant programs they won’t come after you just like they have done with the Ughyers?
Maybe those Canadians will get there heads out of there asses, and stop thinking there better than other people. Carney is areal asshole and that fat ass ford will get a real taste of humble pie. He can share it with the rest of those liberal assholes.
say goodbye to the USMCA
Good riddance. Stupid treaty. Stupid idea. Apples are not Oranges, and they never were.
“Dyin’ ain’t much of a living, boy.”

“More like old habits….”
Well this will screw up my retirement if I have my pensions in Canadian peso, damn where do I where I can to even live a decent life?
Goddamn Liberals!
I totally understand your frustration. However, please do not use God’s Holy Name in vain. We need Him now more than ever. Thank you.
The same creeps who are keeping gasoline-at-the-pump prices artificially high will work hard to keep Carney cool when the heat comes down. The biggest traitors on earth against the American Way Of Life are in many of the corporate boardrooms.
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit their soul?
I posted about busting the monopolies… that is what we need. I think the Administration is looking at the Grocery sector right now. That is an obvious one…. with food prices more than doubling what they were before at a record clip under Biden. Gasoline ties right in to that monopoly. Where these Monopolized sectors are large enough that they can utilize their sectors to manipulate the populace and their voting patterns based on costs of living.
Alas for the Canadian people!
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you
. . . . .
Better solidify the northern border or we’ll have all of the Indians, paki’s and muslims heading south.
Good point.
Short CAD
??
Profit
It would be interesting to see who is already shorting it and when.
The Canadian Midgets Association denounces any trafficking of little people for profit!
Corny’s eyes are watering – who’s gonna blink?
Here’s how to abolish the monarchy in Canada (and say goodbye to King Charles)
https://policyoptions.irpp.org/2023/05/abolish-monarchy-goodbye-charles/
“…. once the U.S. and Mexico come to renewed terms on the ‘USMCA’ as a potential bilateral free trade agreement, ….”
Simultaneous withdrawal by US and Mexico?
I suspect that one of the first things to deteriorate in Canada will be its Universal Healthcare System, known as Medicare. This is not a joke. They call it Medicare; you can look it up.
When export revenues decline and businesses collapse, the business and income tax revenues that support the Canadian Medicare System will dry up. As a result, doctors and hospitals will stop getting paid on time. After Varney takes drastic action, the system will likely crash. Once the Canadian Medicare-for-all system fails, Carney will be on the next plane to Brussels or Beijing..
Perhaps the Dutch are trying to avoid Canada seizing assets in the same way Europe is currently seizing Russian assets.
Oh, the irony.
You mean like how the majority of Russia’s foreign held sovereign wealth funds were in Dutch banks?
Or the way that Canada seized bank accounts in 2022.
China should stop hiding behind their proxies, and the World should stop pretending China is not hiding behind proxies.
Trumps moves here are to soften the blow of China’s insincerity when it comes to business on the world stage, and how that insincerity affects the livelhoolds and well beings of Americans.
Canadian leadership….. pssshhh, total clownshow.
“… this is a potential indication and/or signal of pendency.”
Man, I hope so. I know that things often happen slowly at a federal level, but we just can’t cut Canada loose quickly enough.
Loose the Goose!
