In short, as Canadian conservatives suspected, Mark Carney lied about everything!
U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer appeared on CNBC this morning to discuss the trade agreement between the U.S. and Canada and what caused the final breakdown at the last minute. Greer notes the Canadian team appeared to be negotiating at the end from the position of politics as the Canadian team were aligning themselves with a domestic effort.
Greer draws attention to the friction points being very small. The U.S. tariffs were on less than 5% of overall Canadian exports and less than .06% of U.S. imports. The U.S. made several offers to present Canada with the best trade terms in the world; however, Canada wanted more. Canada wanted to retain all their market barriers, retain all quotas, retain all tariffs and restrictions against U.S. goods and services, but remove all the tariffs against them.
This is a really solid interview to watch because USTR Greer doesn’t need to pretend anything. The terms offered were direct and consistent with benefit to both America and Canada. On the language issue, Greer completely refutes the claims by Mark Carney about the U.S. seeking to change the language of Quebec and starts laughing at the premise. The issue relates to Canada demanding that five percent of all tech income be given to Canadian tech companies they compete against. That demand is ridiculous. WATCH:

Canada will find out in the weeks and months to come, that their nation and its economy rely more heavily on the US than they ever suspected.
I doubt the average Canadian will understand that fast, the TDS will spread and then die off in time but by then it will be too late.

Most Canadians are not aware that their government blocks certain websites from their viewing so most of the information that they do have is filtered, censored, and highly biased against the US in general and President Trump specifically. Therefore they “hate” us because they have been conditioned to believe things that are absolutely untrue, both in a negative way about our government and a falsely positive way about their own!
I think that point is a world view. Just ask the folks who recently visited the U.S. for the soccer tounement.

Greer seems to be a straight shooter, well prepared and knowledgeable. Just the kind of person who would intimidate Carney, so Carney pulls out of the US market to make himself seem tough. If Carney chose the CCP over a solid trade relationship between the USA and Canada, he is a a flaming idiot, first and foremost.
I beg to differ re Carney. I think he’s very smart. But he’s focused only upon his goal of becoming a billionaire, he cares nothing about Canada and he’s pure evil.
He has to follow his puppet-masters – WEF and CCP – agenda to hasten the demise of President Trump’s burgeoning America, which is an existential threat to their New World Order.

Harvard University: BA in Economics (magna cum laude, 1987). He played backup goalie on the varsity ice hockey team.
University of Oxford: MPhil (1993) and DPhil (PhD, 1995) in Economics. His doctoral thesis was titled “The Dynamic Advantage of Competition.”
He returned to Goldman Sachs between his master’s and doctorate.
Career:
Carney’s early career at Goldman Sachs (1988–2003):
1988–1990: Started as an Analyst in the credit risk department in London.
~1990–1991: Transferred to the Tokyo office for about a year.Returned to London after Oxford graduate studies. Served as Co-Head of Sovereign Risk and Executive Director, Debt Capital Markets.
Advised sovereign clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on debt issuance and related matters.
He was involved in work around South Africa’s post-apartheid entry into international bond markets and aspects of the 1998 Russian financial crisis.
1998: Moved to New York as Vice President, Corporate Finance, working on mergers and corporate finance transactions.
2000: Transferred to Toronto to manage investment banking relationships in Canada.
2002: Promoted to Managing Director of the firm. By the end of his tenure, he had built expertise in international finance, risk management, sovereign advisory, and emerging markets.
In politics:
During 5 years of advising
Justine Castreau, followed by 1 year as Prime Minister, he’s used the bought-and-paid-for MSM and national pollsters to foment all-consuming TDS in the arrogant and selfish boomers.
They’ve sacrificed their children’s and grandchildren’s futures on the combined altar of safeguarding their home equity and competitive virtue-signalling of their TDS and suicidal empathy.
He’s carried out his masters’ bidding – WEF and CCP – as Governor of the Bank of Canada then Governor of the Bank of England, followed by a spell leading the Brookfield empire, and now this role which he secured by leveraging Canadians near-universal TDS.
He’s been an ally and advocate of the CCP for all of that time, and their active business partner during his time leading Brookfield.
When Governor of the Bank of Canada he influenced the financial and regulatory framework to facilitate CCP’s laundering of drug, gambling and real estate money.
He endeared himself to the CCP when at the Bank of England. He established the RMB clearing hub in London in 2014 which significantly increased China’s commercial power and reach globally.
This enabled him to
later leverage that relationship while Chairman of Brookfield and concurrently economic advisor to Justine for the last five years of the drama teacher’s time in power.
But he still loves America. His wife and children live there some of the time. His children were educated there.
He moved the headquarters of Brookfield to America 2 months before being “elected”. This enables Brookfield to escape Canada’s stifling tax and regulatory regimes, and makes it much harder for us to require information about his positions there.
And over 500 of his almost 600 stocks and shares are American. Only 3 are Canadian.
He stands to make tens if not hundreds of millions from Brookfield’s future success via Global Transition Fund 1 and 2 that he established while at the helm there. Note that he negotiated carried interest contracts not shareholdings.
These types of agreements are almost impossible to rescind, unlike shareholdings, should he ever get called on his conflicts of interest.
All of this has made him the optimum choice to lead the WEF and CCPs assault on America, from inside CCP-owned Canada, and cleared the path to his personal goal of being a billionaire through Brookfield.

Canada seems to be following the Iranian method of negotiating: make a tentative agreement, then demand new unreasonable terms, sabotage the deal, then blame the other side.
Canada believes that the Democrats will take the House majority in the midterm. Then be able to dictate more favorable terms to Canada similar to what happened in Trump’s first term when Pelosi dictated more favorable terms for Canada in the USMCA treaty. Could happen again.

I was told years ago by a very liberal brewery owner to vote with my pocket book. That is until he invited Hillary Clinton and Maggie Hassan in for a televised photo op.
