After one of the most ridiculous and absurd life stories was seemingly accepted by the Cambridge University academic community, they raised Jason Arday to a professorship of sociology and education in 2023. Then slowly it surfaced that the guy was a professional plagiarist and was passing off the academic work of others as his own.
Everything unraveled as those outside the university system started looking at Arday’s scholarship and life claims. The absurdity of it all ended up with massive embarrassment for the university and those within it.
Arday resigned in disgrace; but prior to the discovery of his fictitious life story being sold as real, he signed a book deal which was scheduled to launch this week. I suspect the publisher did some serious hindsight research and discovered the material in the book was entirely made up. Something happened, and today Mr Arday was found dead.

I used to do chores for an old black woman and her husband. I was 14 or so, so 50 years ago. She had me painting her house, probably 1200 sq ft or so and used one gallon of paint. Every penny was squeezed in her purse.

Jason Arday was a Brit, but at least he had the decency to spare us the irritation of following his decline.
His blood is on the hands of the “progressives” (or whatever name they hide behind). They helped build his pretend life story, supported the caricature they helped to create. And then, when it fell apart, they acted surprised. A very sad ending to the life of a clearly disturbed man that was played by his “friends and supporters”.
I am glad Arday’s fraud was discovered.
I am sad that he may have taken his own life.

USPS has similar situation. DEI hires, promotions. A first class letter under USPS guidelines is allowed to take up to 7 days to be delivered.😳
Experienced that first hand. We had a mail carrier – not sure what they call them – he was Asian. Hubby and I and one of the neighbors always tried to be nice to him, you know “hello”, “have a good weekend” etc. All we received in response were grunts. We took to calling him him Mr. Grump. What we did not know is that he could not speak a word of English but he someone managed to pass whatever test they administer for mail carriers.
Hubby met another mail carrier and was having a chat with him and found out his language deficiency. Apparently he was the butt of jokes at the local post office. I am willing to bet he voted as well…
I recently got a call from a Home Depot credit card company about an unpaid bill. I had sent it July 1. Got the call on 7/29. I called the card provider and after speaking to a VERY polite man from India (of course), I paid over the phone. $18.28. They waived any late fee. Then on August 5th I check my bank account online and see that the check had been cashed. I called the company again and they said they would send a refund….which I have received. It took over a month for a simple little bill to get to its destination. The USPS has become a joke. Not to mention you can’t trust so many of the workers.
