I heard earlier this week that U of M will be giving only “pass” or “fail” grades this fall for the “first semester only” of new students. Reason given was that new students first semester is soooo stress full. They claim they will record their actual grade but keep it hidden.

Another snow flake has melted itself. Cambridge University has the same oversight that our Congress has ZERO.

The story remains that a man who belonged on a psych ward was hired by Cambridge University, which was as keen to believe his fantasies as he was.

He was exposed, as he was always going to be, and the pressure seems to have killed him. It is not so much sad as it is bitterly and predictably farcical.

The source of that pressure is Cambridge, which wanted a token black on its faculty. The guilty party is Cambridge. Any department found to have hired a man like this should be wound up immediately.

He might have been a petty swindler except that they elevated him so far above his station. He might have been found out earlier, and in a less febrile atmosphere, except that he was shielded for so long by an army of exceptionally White Knights.

But this is Britain, so rather than this prompting accountability from Cambridge, and the broader DEI establishment (because there are certainly many more like him), the media will spend the next few weeks lamenting that the racist right wingers drove an innocent man to suicide.

It is lazy to focus on Arday. He did NOT hire himself into Cambridge. A high-ranking person at Cambridge, and/or a committee at Cambridge, hired this Arday. And some other Cambridge personnel gave overt or tacit approval. Still more personnel at Cambridge considered this hire to be a point of pride. They all should pay.
These were persons of authority at Cambridge. Can you name any one of these perpetrators? They should be identified and mocked with at least as much energy and publicity that Arday generated. Out them, mock them and make them publicly denounce the evil process they enabled.
This obviously mentally-deranged character committed suicide, and the enablers go on with life?

It’s not just the unraveling of the fabulist story concocted on his behalf, but his own students, who had an unqualified person foisted onto them, complained more than once that he severely shortchanged his lectures and seemed to lack knowledge and preparation of the subject matter. But it was not acted on by those who had the power to do something because of the investment in the narrative and the fear of being called racist.

There are consequences to elevating unqualified people to certain positions due to something as phenotypical as skin color just to substitute for our own lack of virtue. You can’t live your virtue through another person and any lack thereof will have to be remediated through our own redemption. That’s what it means to be a person of integrity. And now a young man is dead because he couldn’t live up to the lie and the expectations that flowed from it.

Cambridge administration failed not only its students but also Jason Arday by being co-conspirators in his role-play. (I see the same tragedy playing out with those who encourage the transgender delusion.) If they collectively wish to set an example, then the most virtuous thing they could truly do would be to begin submitting resignations.

As bad as things are these days one of my first thoughts was ‘did the publisher kill him to increase sales of the book?’

That’s probably not the case. What is sad though is all of the people that enabled him in his fraud. So I believe that they are partialy responsible for his death. If indeed he did commit suicide. He was most likely so shamed that suicide seemed the only way out. And if was not for the enablers he wouldn’t have been put in that position in the first place.

If that is the case his blood is on their hands.

A lot of famous people have attended Cambridge and its second cousin Oxford. I wonder what they think about all this?

From what I’m hearing, he didn’t just poach from academia. His book is said to have poached from cultural and entertainment media.

Behold a true victim of DEI, and I mean that sincerely. Why push yourself to achieve and accomplish if it is not a requirement of success? The irony is that Professor Arday was pushing the same bill of goods that established his downfall.

The committee at Cambridge who selected Mr. Arday bear a significant responsibility for their role in this tragic end to a young man’s life – regardless of his actions and background.

If the selection committee had done the minimal amount of research into his background, they would have discovered his plagiarism, picked a more qualified candidate – and avoided the discrediting of their selection process as well as damaging the Cambridge University reputation for academic excellence.

While I do not condone Mr. Arday’s actions, I send prayers to his family and loved ones who will have to live without his presence in their lives.

Those at this platform gloating or otherwise mocking this young man’s tragic end should pause and reflect upon their statements.

I knew a fabulist. Nice guy whose stories belied his circumstances, and then I met more people who’d known him. We began comparing stories, and then there was no doubt.

I don’t think anyone becomes afflicted with this without having gone through some terrible life experiences at a very young age.

I feel nothing but sadness for Arday. My anger is for all the people who have the power to put troubled, confused, mentally ill people on to a positive, therapeutic track. But instead, they use these people as props in their schemes to corrupt institutions and corporations with DEI, and to further confuse the young and impressionable with claims of gender-fluidity.

If you’re against slavery, against dehumanization, then you’re against the “Cambridge administrations” of the western world.

Suicide. That’s bad juju. It would have been better if he just faded out of the scene like Juicy Smollet.

Given his great claims of miraculous feats, maybe we should wait three days to see if he has one more miracle in his quiver.

I find many of the remarks here odious and disgusting. This was a disturbed human being who deserved the embarrassment that came as a result of his lies being uncovered. But to mock or condone the end of his life is evil. There are many here who need to examine just what they believe and hold dear. For example, I wonder how many of you call yourself Christians. If Jesus was sitting next to you as you typed your thoughts, would he have approved? Once you answer that question honestly, admit your sin and repent.
