Senator Lindsey Graham (U-DC) has never met a military combat operation he didn’t like. In his career Graham, like his friend John McCain (RIH), has always supported war against every country.
However, beyond the unquenchable bloodlust there is one thing Senator Graham fears, an exit from NATO. With the Iran conflict providing buckets of citations for why the United States should pull back from the NATO alliance, citations that Graham cannot easily refute, the war monger is worried the old war ethos of NATO could be lost.

I watched both versions of “Red Dawn” over the past couple of months. I was younger when I first saw them. I paid little attention to the beginning of the movies where they established what had led to the invasion of the USA. Among them was the US exiting NATO.
I’m not saying we need or want NATO. It doesn’t serve its function or purpose. But as vicious and hateful as the EU and the UK have been to us lately? It’s NOT hard to imagine they wouldn’t be PART of the invasion of the USA if that moment came about.
They will be, one day, because Europe will be an Islamic caliphate IMO.
As many have said, Europe needs a new Charles Martel. But sadly, his genes are no longer in the European gene pool.

Short answer is the town was on the way to occupying the heartland further south. Most of the movie takes place in and around Ft. Collins even though there are hints of invasion on both coasts as well as from Mexico and Canada.

There’s another primary challenger too, think the name is Paul Dans or Dan Paul. Regardless, it’s the splitter strategy. Mz Lindsey is currently at around 40% in the polls (not good for an incumbent) however with the splitter strategy that the GOP uses along with the open primary it’s almost impossible to get rid of an incumbent. That’s how it works in TN. They’ve been trying to close the primary here in TN since I moved here in 2005. Tried again this legislative session and it’s been blocked.

At one point I thought that exiting NATO would give China a win he didn’t even have to work for. But the more I see the dysfunction in NATO, how much each country’s (except Hungary and Slovakia) leadership is a form of puppetry, the more I realize NATO is more of the Dutch-British imperial system that wants to control the world.
I don’t think NATO has accomplished anything positive PERIOD.
Trump is making NATO into a vestigial organization: it only serves negative purposes and isn’t needed anymore. Trump is going to find a way to work with Russia and China to create a new decentralized financial system, not one in which the cabal benefits no matter who wins in any war. And what did I find? Plenty of comments by this 70-year-old Senator with no military experience other than having been a comfy “JAG” Lawyer, fishing for un-earned promotions.
He said that he thought it was a wonderful idea to “send the Marines” to “take the island.” Obviously with no idea, and no concern, as to whether this would be a militarily appropriate thing to do “in theater.”
Likewise with no concept of the cost.
He obviously has no interest in that. He simply wants to try to goad the Commander-in-Chief into a political quagmire, and it is of no concern to him how many American lives might be wasted by such a foolish decision, if Trump were likewise so foolish as to take it.

For forty-seven years, we have been threatened by the theocratic madmen at the head of the Iranian government. We have watched as they chanted “Death to America” as if it were just a slogan, not a national goal. No presidents past have done even lifting a finger to do anything through the years of witnessing our embassy being attacked and occupied in 1979, with its staff held hostage for 444 days. We watched 241 service members being slaughtered in the 1983 bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut, and thousands of our brave military members being killed and maimed by Iranian-supplied shaped-charged IEDs in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. Any one of those acts of naked aggression, and many others, would have justified massive retaliation against Iran, but a succession of presidents, starting with the feckless Jimmy Carter, allowed them to continue unpunished. President Trump put an end to that shameful practice, starting last June.
NATO’s weakness is not new. Graham have signaled a shift toward burden-shifting within NATO, where European allies are expected to take greater responsibility for their own defense. What happened there Miss Lindsey? European allies are expected to take greater responsibility for their own defense. Why doesn’t Miss Lindsey talk more about what the Democratic leadership been doing day in and day out – currently fighting tooth and nail not to allow ICE agents to arrest and detain criminal illegal aliens prior to their deportation. They are also against requiring proof of citizenship and photo ID to vote in our elections. What could their motivation be for this stance? After all, proper photo ID is required for many other activities we do on a regular basis.
Let PDJT Trump do his work. Miss Lindsey should stop worrying about NATO’s weakness and concentrate on what threatens America on home soil. That; proper photo ID be required for voting and the purging of corrupt officials and businesses involved in election cheating. If the Democrats are successful in taking over the House and Senate in the November midterms, it might end up being the proverbial straw that breaks the camel’s back. An overwhelming number of United States counties voted Republican in 2024. Democrat controled counties were mainly around Democrat controlled cities.

The Russians have their hands full with the Ukranians. Poland and Hungry would hardly be push overs. Germany, France & the United Kingdom likely count for very little. All three are in the process of surrendering their countries and Western Civilization to Islam. The notion that they would put up a serious fight against Russia is not serious.
We are rapidly approaching a point where the United States will have more common interests with Russia, Poland, Hungry and perhaps a few smaller European countries than with the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain.
