As we confront Iran, we know it isn’t just Iran. In the post-cold war era, a cabal has become exposed, with tentacles around the world. We are confronting much more than just Iran.
The criminal cartel starts in China and leads to North Korea, Burma, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis in Somalia, various African nations that owe China money, Brazil, Venezuela, Columbia, Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico, Canada, and Minnesota. The United Kingdom is coming under the influence of this syndicate.
It is guns and drugs smuggling, human trafficking, money laundering, gambling, sale of body parts, murder for hire, and every illicit activity that we confront in this cabal.
As we confront Iran, and shrill critics point fingers, the question is how much is enough? We have snatched Maduro, and parked ships close to Iran. But the extent of the pseudo-communist network is large, and it goes far beyond Iran and around the globe. It is what presents an endless war, not our response.
To confront all of it, or only a part? If it were only dominoes, and knocking down one would lead to collapse of the others. But what is certain, the way of life we have come to expect will not long continue, when these forces are bringing in fentanyl, for example, to kill our children. And paying money, to corrupt our leaders. There is no wall we can build that will keep out the influence of our adversaries.
So, it is once more unto the breach. Securing safety is a struggle, and it is why we have a military. We can pray that President Trump will do what is necessary and proper to defend our way of life. We can’t lose the rest of the world and save ourselves, as some would have. We live on a planet together, and all are inextricably linked. Sometimes securing a future of peace is a struggle.
I noticed both the Fox News channels, regular and the business one, are pushing the war with Iran is just moments away with scrolling words ‘peace talks’, ‘negotiations’ etc., etc. with Iran ended with no deal made while over on the Bloomberg business channel the scrolling words say ‘negotiations with Iran continue next week’ while Newsmax is going with the Guthrie kidnapping as their priority.
It’s Friday and we can already see the focus of what the general public is going to be fed over the weekend. Prepare optical and audio filters accordingly.

Rush Limbaugh had the same problem. He said some very funny things, in a subtle sarcastic way and people didn’t get that he was being funny. The left hated him too. I laughed at both of them many, many times for their humorous take on issues. The left has no idea what these very funny men were saying. Agree, and extend an apology for coming off somewhat tart. I read last week (on this site) that a first strike would result in an immediate 10,000 casualties. I wondered whether those casualties were military or civilian, or a combination of both.
I cannot justify 10,000 of our troops immediately perishing with perhaps tens of thousands more in a prolonged war. The President campaigned on no more wars, and no involvement in foreign wars, and yet here we are reading about embassies evacuating their employees.

I have mixed feelings, bjorkdream. On one hand, I feel for the majority of citizens there, good people (many Christian converts) who are being held hostage by the current regime, who are crying out for help — for our help — for Israel’s help — and who are taking to the streets and being mass murdered just for speaking out. President Trump has encouraged them to keep protesting, and that help was on the way. I have to assume that he has a plan, or he would not have given his word publicly. To back away or just do another meaningless “deal” that Iran intends to break would be a betrayal of those people.
On the other hand, I have wondered what the plan is after an attack — or how entrenched the military and bureaucracy there is as loyalists to the Ayatollah and his minions in power. I read this article that was very sobering to me — about how many tentacles the regime has into the military and govt agencies which are loyal to the current leadership — and would be prepared to carry out their mission, even if the head of the snake is taken out.

Investors buying up SFHs, doing minimal repairs and making the interior 50 shades of gray (like living in a clinic), and then selling them for 2X or 3X — and driving prices up by that much. Or renting them out for rates that have jacked up rents all over.
They have gotten away with it because the inventory has been so low, and no one has stopped them. You can see in the real estate section that almost all the affordable homes here (below $100K) are bought by LLCs. So I really pray that this Senate bill goes through and helps free up inventory and lower prices.

In our current era of massive election fraud, not just voter and machine fraud, but also candidate fraud as well, there are many attempts to pass legislation aimed at stopping all of the election fraud. But all efforts are not equal.
A friend in Tennessee recently sent me a note regarding a bill proposed in the State Legislature which on the surface, appears as “good intentions.” But the text of the bill indicates that the sponsors of the bill are horribly ill-informed, constitutionally illiterate, or maybe the intentions aren’t so good after all.

Actually, this well-meaning article is misguided in its references to “the Constitution.”
“The Constitution” only describes the highest-level structure of Federal Government, which of course is all that existed at the time. It then delegates to Congress literally everything else: the structure of the entire “subordinate” Court system; the structure of the “Executive Branch” offices, and likewise “Congressional” offices.
Beyond that – as the “10th Amendment” expressly declares – it is all left up to the States.
“The States” are, individually, able to specify rules such as these, which shall apply only to “their State.”

Afghanistan has said they would back Iran – so it potentially takes one potential attack vector against US forces off the board.
We can assist Pakistan, in exchange for getting Bagram Air Force Base back from Afghanistan. Biden abandoned Afghanistan as Iran began rapprochement with the Taliban, and Biden was in effect helping the Islamic Republic regime. The air base was in a straight line across Iran. Now, Afghanistan represents a place that the IRGC can flee to for safety. So, that avenue of escape can be shut off.
I want President Trump to reclaim that base. Here’s betting he wants that as well.

Regarding Iran, I’m wondering if the Pakistani and Israeli strikes on the Taliban and Hezbollah respectively, are all part of the operation against Iran, given these organisations allowed fanatical militias to go and help suppress the protestors. A shock and awe first strike, against key regime targets, that transitions into a mission to shield the protestors, both with kinetic and electronic assets, would be very hard to counter and massively reduce the US footprint required to overthrow the regime.
Who takes over and what does that look like?
I guess the people the administration have been in contact with for several years. The aim would be to avoid the Iraqi debacle by making it an Iranian operation to cleanse their country of the minority in power, and aim to have a democratic government installed quickly, failing that an interim administration.
From the Iranian exiles I’ve known the large urban areas seem to be far more Western orientated, with the conservative Muslims in the countryside supporting the current regime, though their economic incompetence and greed might have affected that considerably.
Removing the Mullahs from Iran would have a massive effect on the world, especially the local region, and pose awkward questions for those portraying the raise of Islam as inevitable, a force existentially far frailer than most people seem to understand. BRICS would be holed beneath the waterline and Europe and Canada’s economic saviour, in the form of the rapacious Chinese Janus, would be dealt a blow they have never experienced before.
I think the same operation is being mounted domestically, but the real effort seems to be concentrated further afield, though that is not to say that both are inextricably linked, especially Chinese funded, backed and supported destabilisation activities in the US.

In other observations….north of Kankakee and somewhat west…the sky has once again been ‘decorated’ with chem trails, literally all day long…and still going on as I type….of what I could see, that had not dissipated…there were over 30…am missing my friend from Illinois, Peoria Jones….
I noted that here there wasn’t a single one in the sky here – was a beautiful clear sky blue day. Also noted at one point that there was a plane at the usual altitude, but it’s real contrail was dissipating just a few degrees behind it without a trace.
Pritzker probably pays them double their usual rate to visit Illinois.
Anyone who watched “The Clinton Chronicles”, (2 hrs long) or read “Clinton Cash” knows both Clinton’s are lying through their teeth. Nuff said.
