Following the introduction President Trump told the assembly of business leaders there was no need to repeat his prepared remarks and instead spoke off-the-cuff, giving thanks and praise to the audience specific to his intents and purposes. The second thing you notice is: “Why is nobody else in the room also talking this way?” Say you’re from another country, and you’re left wondering why “your” politician isn’t talking about putting “YOUR country” first! (Good question.)
Trump is now a “politician,” yes. But he’s one that you can actually DISagree with, if you have a counter-argument. He forces you to think. Precious few “politicians” can do that.
