President Trump has announced a new tariff regime against Germany, the UK, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands and Finland. The two-stage tariffs are in response to European leadership undermining U.S. strategic security discussions with Greenland.
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “We have subsidized Denmark, and all of the Countries of the European Union, and others, for many years by not charging them Tariffs, or any other forms of remuneration. Now, after Centuries, it is time for Denmark to give back — World Peace is at stake! China and Russia want Greenland, and there is not a thing that Denmark can do about it. They currently have two dogsleds as protection, one added recently.
Only the United States of America, under PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, can play in this game, and very successfully, at that! Nobody will touch this sacred piece of Land, especially since the National Security of the United States, and the World at large, is at stake.
On top of everything else, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown. This is a very dangerous situation for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Planet. These Countries, who are playing this very dangerous game, have put a level of risk in play that is not tenable or sustainable.”
“Therefore, it is imperative that, in order to protect Global Peace and Security, strong measures be taken so that this potentially perilous situation end quickly, and without question. Starting on February 1st, 2026, all of the above-mentioned Countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland), will be charged a 10% Tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America.
On June 1st, 2026, the Tariff will be increased to 25%. This Tariff will be due and payable until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland. The United States has been trying to do this transaction for over 150 years. Many Presidents have tried, and for good reason, but Denmark has always refused. Now, because of The Golden Dome, and Modern-Day Weapons Systems, both Offensive and Defensive, the need to ACQUIRE is especially important.
Hundreds of Billions of Dollars are currently being spent on Security Programs having to do with “The Dome,” including for the possible protection of Canada, and this very brilliant, but highly complex system can only work at its maximum potential and efficiency, because of angles, metes, and bounds, if this Land is included in it.
The United States of America is immediately open to negotiation with Denmark and/or any of these Countries that have put so much at risk, despite all that we have done for them, including maximum protection, over so many decades. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
My message to those who worry about President Trump committing us to something protracted that will eventually end in our being pulled into a European theater of conflict vis-a-vis Ukraine, is to quit worrying.
Trump is telling the EU to quit talking and start actively being responsible for their own security. In the background Trump has bigger plans.
Hans Mahncke has a solid take on the bigger picture:
“The notion that America wants Greenland for its raw materials is either insanely ignorant or just engagement bait. Extracting anything in the Arctic is prohibitively expensive, and often physically impossible, with extreme cold, thick ice, equipment that won’t function, and no roads, rail or ports to move anything once you have it.
The real reason America needs Greenland is its immense geostrategic military value, which should be obvious to anyone with a functioning brain, especially anyone who has ever looked at a map from above, with the North Pole at the center.
Sure, some tasks could be outsourced to NATO, but that alliance is on its last legs, burdened by too many countries with conflicting priorities, and has mainly served as a way for Europe to freeload on US security guarantees. Relying on it for American national security is reckless. It’s far smarter to cut out the endless middlemen and take direct control.” (source)
Mahncke is correct. On one side of the ice, you have North America. On the other side of the ice you have, well, the reason for President Trump to order dozens of icebreakers.
The position of Denmark and Greenland is pathetic. Denmark demands the USA protect the “territories of their kingdom” (their words) including Greenland, which they admit they “cannot do without the USA military.” However, they outright reject the notion the United States should gain something, anything, for providing that protection.
Stephen Miller just said the quiet part out loud about Greenland.
Denmark may claim ownership — but America is footing the bill, defending the territory, and staring down the next global battlefield.
MILLER: “Greenland is essential for America’s national security.”

As also noted by Jim Ferguson: “Ursula von der Leyen just went on camera and declared that Greenland “belongs to Denmark and NATO” — directly rebuking President Trump.
Let’s translate that. This isn’t about the Greenlandic people. This is about Brussels panicking because Trump is exposing the Arctic power game.
Greenland controls:
• the northern missile corridor
• Arctic shipping lanes
• and the gateway to North America
That makes it one of the most important strategic territories on Earth.
And Trump said the quiet part out loud: If the U.S. doesn’t secure it, China or Russia will.
Von der Leyen’s response wasn’t to protect the West, it was to protect EU control.
She wrapped it in pretty words about “NATO unity” — but what she really meant was: Brussels gets a veto over American security.
That’s what this is about.
Trump isn’t breaking the alliance. he’s breaking the illusion that unelected EU bureaucrats get to decide the future of the Arctic.
Greenland is not a Brussels bargaining chip; it is the northern shield of the United States, and for the first time in decades, America has a president willing to say it.
Ursula doesn’t hate Trump because he’s reckless, she hates him because he won’t let Europe freeload on American security while selling the future to Beijing.”
October, 2025: Finland is slightly smaller than Montana and wedged between Sweden and Russia. Finland, a nation of approximately 5 million people, has a security outlook shaped by its geography, a strategic position within the new NATO/Arctic strategy.
President Trump holds a bilateral discussion with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, as the two leaders’ complete terms for eleven icebreaker ships valued at $6.1 billion. Under terms of the deal, three of the ships will be built by Davie in Galveston, Texas, and four by Bollinger Shipyards in Houma, Louisiana.
Finland is the world leader in icebreaker ship building and will help teach U.S. ship building companies the latest advances in the technology. [SOURCE]

December, 2025: Appearing on Fox News to discuss the Ukraine v Russia conflict, Finland President Alexander Stubb is questioned about the conflicting U.S. intelligence reports pushed by Reuters saying Russia will invade Europe, versus DNI Tulsi Gabbard saying Russia has no capability or intent to invade Europe.
President Stubb notes his agencies work closely with U.S. intelligence and in his view, Tulsi Gabbard is correct regarding President Vladimir Putin’s intention. [SOURCE]
President Trump is dancing through a geopolitical minefield, deconstructing numerous long-standing manipulative institutions along the way, while simultaneously keeping 100 domestic agenda plates spinning on sticks.
It is amazing to watch his navigation skills. Smile and enjoy this.

So, does this mean we don’t have a deal anymore? 🤔
Fact Sheet: The United States and European Union Reach Massive Trade Deal – The White House
July 28, 2026
MAKING GLOBAL HISTORY: Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump announced a trade deal with the European Union (EU), fundamentally rebalancing the economic relationship between the world’s two largest economies.
The deal marks a generational modernization of the transatlantic alliance and will provide Americans with unprecedented levels of market access to the European Union.
The deal bolsters America’s economy and manufacturing capabilities. The EU will purchase $750 billion in U.S. energy and make new investments of $600 billion in the United States, all by 2028.
Through decisive leadership and an unyielding commitment to American workers, President Trump has delivered yet another agreement that positions the United States as the world’s preeminent destination for investment, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.
REACHING A HISTORIC TRADE DEAL: President Trump’s agreement with the European Union achieves historic structural reforms and strategic commitments that will benefit American industry, workers, and national security for generations:
The United States and European Union reached a Cooperation Agreement on Reciprocal, Fair and Balanced Trade.
This colossal deal will enable U.S. farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and manufacturers to increase U.S. exports, expand business opportunities, and help reduce the goods trade deficit with the European Union. The EU will remove significant tariffs, including the elimination of all EU tariffs on U.S. industrial goods exported to the EU, creating enormous opportunities for American-made and American-grown goods to compete and win in Europe. This new market access will drive growth across the American economy—fueling exports, expanding production, and allowing American businesses of all sizes to reach millions of new customers across the Atlantic.

Do the math. It’s fairly simple.
27-(x+1)=20
Where x = the number of EU countries that have just been hit with additional tariffs.
2025
I was wondering about the predictive powers of whoever wrote that Fact Sheet.
Not Yet July.
Not even the 28th of Jan.
The White House wrote it..
Your concern is noted.
Am strong supporter of PDJT but this stuff is too much making him look petty and childish.
All of the capture of Greenland could be done without the theatrics.
I agree but on the other hand all the exploding heads is nice.😉
Without the United States…
Greenland is basically iceolated.
¡That’s cold!
💯
Denmark should just Leif.
The uppity EUnuchs really are pathetic. This goes beyond securing the North American continent. It really has as much to do with stopping the Chinese goals of world dominance. That weak Canadian piece of garbage Carney is currently in a partnership with China producing the Fentanyl bioweapon killing people in every major US city.
Carney’s policies are just like the policies Harris would have inflicted on us. Carney sees the CCP as his savior. CCP sees Canada as the EU looks at us…A Tick looking at its next meal. Canada will become the next Cuba. While Cuba becomes the next Argentina. The deck chairs are certainly being moved.
Communists and their propaganda start to believe it and start to believe that talking is results. The collapse is going to be horrific.
not going. IT is already there…
EUnuchs. Brilliant!
The 1951 Agreement Allowing US Military in Greenland
The 1951 Defense of Greenland agreement granted the U.S. the right to expand its military presence in Greenland far beyond World War II levels. The largest addition was the construction of Thule Air Base (now Pituffik Space Base) in Greenland’s frozen north, which was manned by more than 10,000 U.S. troops at the height of the Cold War.
When Denmark was occupied by Germany during World War II, the United States signed a pact with Denmark’s U.S. Ambassador to protect Greenland—then a Danish colony—from Nazi invasion. After Germany was defeated, U.S. forces were prepared to leave Greenland when a new threat emerged: the Soviet Union.
In April 1949, after several Eastern European countries fell to Soviet-backed communist revolutions, 12 nations—including the U.S. and Denmark—formed the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as a defensive alliance against Soviet aggression. Months later, the USSR successfully detonated its first nuclear bomb, raising the stakes of the Cold War even higher.
With the threat of Soviet bombers flying over the Arctic to strike targets in North America, Greenland became critical to U.S. and NATO defense strategies. Under NATO’s direction, the U.S. and Denmark met in 1951 to negotiate an updated agreement for the defense of Greenland.
“The treaty of 1951 was all about positioning the United States so we had the presence we needed in that emergent nuclear world,” says Barry Zellen, a senior fellow in Arctic security at the Institute of the North.

Great! Let’s put our 💰& our troops into Greenland wherever we are “allowed” to so that we can pay in blood & treasure for the security of a continent of freeloaders.
Such a deal they got for us!!
We’ve have unlimited free military access to Greenland per a treaty with Denmark since 1951.
You would rather spend hundreds of billions to buy Greenland then tens of billions more each year when we already have the military access we need for free?
What happened to balancing the budget?
What happened to paying down the trillions in debt?
What happened to elimination of the income tax?
I thought we’re going to establish a new relationship with Russia. Now we have to defend Greenland from a Russian invasion?
Seems like no matter who we elect for President of the United States we get John McCain!
An ego in permanent display mode, mistaking volume for authority. Classic Donald Trump, a flashy real estate developer from New York turned media personality, turned POTUS.
When President Trump was recently asked who convinced him to hold off on attacking Iran, he quipped, “I convinced myself.” Not the polished I carefully weighed all available intelligence, consulted our allies, and decided, for now, against the military option. No, that would suggest process, deliberation, and restraint. Instead, he had to remind everyone that he alone is in charge, circling the geopolitical block and leaving scent marks on every lamppost, just in case anyone forgot who owns the territory.
I must admit that I sometimes enjoy watching him put these world leaders, particularly the more arrogant leftist Europeans, in their place. But when it’s done constantly, incessantly, and obsessively, it stops looking like confidence and starts looking like compulsion, less a show of strength than a public audition for reassurance, the telltale twitch of an inferiority complex dressed up as dominance. It’s quite annoying.
It’s quite fun watching the Donald put arrogant intellectual-ists on the spot, by annoying them, too.
No, my priorities are just different from yours. I’m not a fan of theatrics and permanent outrage.
Interesting none of you ever blame the Europeans….as I said above, tell us you’re not paying attention without telling us…
Or, you’re trolling to whine about Trump. You pretend to “understand” what’s going on, but then thrn around and say “but, but, but Trump!”
Trolls belong under the bridge you are on the wrong site/bridge trolls.
I have no problem with blaming Europeans. Particularly the UK, Germany, and the rest of the freeloaders. But unlike you, I’m also capable of thinking about more than one thing at a time.
What’s going to happen if the SCOTUS justices, annoyed by Trump’s behavior, take the tariff tools away from him, huh? And don’t even start talking about the Constitution… You should know better by now that the Supreme Court is not really bound by the text of that document (well, they are in theory, but there’s no recourse if they decide to ignore it), and they are very good at making excuses to make their decision appear credible, preferably with a straight face.
Where does Greenland fit in this mealy mouthed ramble?
It doesn’t. The only purpose of the mealy mouthed ramble was to allow an outside agitator to vent his spleen.
Having worked with plenty of Fortune 500 CEOs back in my investment banking days in New York, I’ve met this archetype more times than I can count. The kind who, like Trump, needs to continuously remind everyone that they’re the most important, most famous, and, naturally, the smartest person in the room. For them, there’s no such thing as a win unless it’s a “kill.” Collaboration is optional; humiliation is mandatory.
Unsurprisingly, they typically ended up paying about twice as much as necessary, achieved less than they should have, and managed to torch any remaining goodwill along the way.
The best part came later, of course, when they’d call back, genuinely outraged, to complain about having overpaid as if this outcome had arrived from outer space.
Which brings me to my last point: I’m not about to be on the hook for higher taxes just because someone can’t keep his oversized ego in check. If you’re already coughing up six figures or more in taxes every year, you’d understand.
You should be asking yourselves where SCOTUS fits into this equation. I bet you didn’t think about that. What if they say Trump can’t use tariffs the way he does, huh? That would be highly embarrassing, wouldn’t it? That’s why things like this are better resolved quietly.
After one year.
While the rest of us were sleeping…
And President Trump was not…

Let me know when the Ukraine debacle ended is on the list! 🏧🤔
My goodness, dear Patriot…
Voltaire wrote that “The perfect is the enemy of the good”, though an accurate translation says, “The best is the enemy of the good”.
Either way, we all pray for an end to the abomination of that war.
Were President Trump the sole arbiter in ending it, it would be ended.
But he is not.
There are multi faceted evil forces, foreign and domestic, opposing him and his efforts. That’s just a fact. Landmines have been laid everywhere by his demonic predecessors and their acolytes who are profiting from its continuation.
President Trump is looking beyond. He is interrupting the bigger war of which it seems too few (relatively speaking) are cognizant. One prosecuted by the One World elitists. A spiritual war.
And as such, he is (perhaps unwittingly) following the advice of the great Catherine Austin Fitts, who states that in order to fight against entrenched political corruption and those who profit from it we must begin at the local level to root it out, destroy it, and rebuild from the bottom up.
Think of America as the “local level” in this war for this analogy.
For the moment, please accept the good and remember…
With a Harris/Walz administration there would be none.

Over her head? Or complicit?
Whichever, she needs to be gone.
Don’t blame it on Bondi, although she’s implicated. It’s the Senate confirmation process. They won’t confirm a MAGA AG.
I take trump seriously but not literally. He’s not a good orator but he he’s driven to succeed for the benefit of many. This country has had presidents that were good (practiced) at speeches but terrible for our country so it’s refreshing to have something completely different and watch the established order squirm as their plans are foiled. Pass the popcorn.
Gravy, VERY well said! Too many people just listen to pretty words but ignore the facts.
Zzzzz… ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Concern troll straight from the Sea Island/Alligator emoji gang.
Huh? Whatever you’re trying, it ain’t working!
I’m surprised he went all in before the SCOTUS ruling on tariffs. If SCOTUS says he can’t use tariffs the way he does, it would be rather embarrassing.
People throw phrases around without ever defining what it is they mean – ‘northern missile corridor’, ‘gateway to North America’ and so forth. Were Russia to ever launch hypersonics, they would immediately be picked up by one of a dozen satellites the US has in orbit, at which point the citizenry could settle in for a short while and wait for them to hit, as there is currently no defence. The ‘gateway’ argument is obviously false, the Golden Dome will be stillborn because of the hypersonic issue and pretty much everything Trump said is, therefore, dreck. I get that there are ‘Arctic shipping lanes’, but I imagine the Strait of Hormuz has more strategic value. So, an alternative explanation is likely and Thiel’s plans for the island – and it’s inclusion in a proposed American Technate – are probably it
Laughable.
Alphabet soup or the other side of the coin posting?
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
What happened to those that said 5 billion was too much for many of you for a border wall – speaking of John McCain –
What happened to those of us on this blog – that know nothing of what Trump is exposing to us – Now once exposed we are the armchair quarterbacks on this issue – the last issue and the next issue – which you would neve have been aware of.
I give him more brownie points than that
I’ll keep my 600 hitter in baseball any day of the week – even if he might give the opposing pitcher the finger as he walks to the plate – (who knows why) and then cranks another double to left field to win the game and provide a peace for our grandchildren that China or Russia would have surely done the opposite
Of all the Presidents in my lifetime, none of them deserved the trust I gave them. They were mostly talking heads being led by a group of RINOs or Leftists. For the first time, We have a leader that is a doer, thinker, and lover of America.
I will follow him to the ends of the earth. For the first time in my life we have a President that puts the American Citizen first.
If you don’t know the difference between the Man and the Manchurian…
Grow up.

One person defined the goal & showed everyone the roadblocks to completing a goal.
Some people have to do something to eliminate the roadblocks & that isn’t quite done yet. But I get it… PDJT is such a slacker. 🙄
How is spending tillions on a Golden Dome boondoggle and tillions on buying a worthless iceberg with $$$ we don’t have the fault of Congress?
How does a Golden Dome in Greenland defend against Chinese and Russian submarines 25 miles off the East and West Coast of the United States from nuclear missiles and nuclear torpedos that can reach LA, New York City and Washington DC in a matter of seconds?
You can only blame the Democrats, the RINOS, the EU, China and Iran on our fiscal mess so far, Mom!
If only there were a way to give a thumbs down.
👎
It’s for our own defense first and foremost
When a reader collapses a complex strategic dispute into ‘we’re being used’ and ‘we’re being played,’ they cease to read as a system architect and instead read from a position of resentment
This reader didn’t read either a ‘system architect’, or any resentment. I read a completely understandable comment from a soldier’s Mom. Kindness helps….
So we can protect America.
Not China or Russia there no no
thank you President Trump
The threat today, explained in two minutes:
Hollywood explains Greenland.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTjR5zdkXbV/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Worth the watch.
I don’t have instagram so it won’t let me open to watch it.
Recommended watch. Sometimes Hollywood gets it right. Watched “Wag The Dog” recently. With the emergence of AI, patriots need Godly discernement as we watch social media & propaganda press videos. Media psyops is a serious thing. Gaza, Ukraine, the streets of Minneapolis; who knows what is real & what is fabricated.
That’s the argument for the military need. But all that land?
All the ‘White Acres’?
“Land stretching out so far & wide…”
Thule/Pituffik is way north of Nuuk, the supposed capital.
Trump should request to buy the NW & NE chunk of Greenland, & leave everyone else alone.
The US doesn’t want to take care of the Greenlanders, just missile defense.
He should be more aware of his audience.
Trump sounds like one of the ugly American tourists on a 1st visit to Europe, who just tries to push everyone around.
I trust Trump 1000% more to get done what needs to get done and how it needs to be done than your boomer instincts. I’ve watched what they have done to this country for 40 years and I’ve seen the results of Trump’s approach for 5. This is not a blind opinion
💯

Bingo; the same boomers who fave tge EU and everyone everything on the backside their children are once again chicken littles.
I say “boomers” to speak of a very specific group of those generation….there are many from that same generation who are very happy with everything.
Enough of US sons/daughters/dads/moms putting their lives on the line for the defense of Europe; it’s time it’s for the defense of our country (allied neighbors).
Paul, I’m a boomer and I totally support Trump’s America First agenda. Don’t throw all of one generation in the same box. Many of us boomers have been fighting against the uniparty eunuchs for decades. I was a Pat Buchanan supporter back to the 90’s.
Feel the same but why the boomer comment? Many of us have been on the forefront challenging both Democrats and Rinos for a long time. Some created Tea Parties and fought audits, GOP party regulars and expised progressives. Let’s work together.
“one of the ugly American tourists”
This did the trick for me.
Point taken… You’re not wrong.
Nope not at all…
The EU is going Communist. SO lets keep them in charge of the people so we can have an effective 5th Column right next to what we are doing?
I generally don’t like to make improvements to land I do not own. You can be kicked out anytime. No security in that.
We have 800 military bases around the world. Are you suggesting that we buy everything? 🤔
NYET! It is making him appear realistic and direct, with a significant dose of cojones.

Please enlighten me on how this could be done.
“without the theatrics”
“Politics is the Entertainment Division of the Military-Industrial Complex” – Frank Zappa
True, who knew more about theatrics than Zappa?
Oh really?
I am seeing more hysterics from the freeloaders than from anyone else. The EU and others are not entitled to a veto over American security, nor shall it be granted.
Freeloaders have the time and disposition to be hysterical. 100% over the 🎯
Care to expand upon how the “capture of Greenland” might be accomplished? “Capture” was an interesting choice of verb.
Watch…
If multiple European countries move into Greenland without transparency, creating risks they cannot sustain, why should the United States refrain from taking decisive measures to protect global security?
It was initially tried w/o the theatrics. EU von Ursala Nato insisted on pretending and as a result we have the theatrics. Sit back & enjoy the entertainment. 😉🇺🇲
Did you read the article or listen to President Trump’s reason as to why we need Greenland? Greenland is in our Western Hemisphere. President Trump wants our military to protect the United States because China wants to control Greenland. President Trump has said this multiple times. He wants China out of our western hemisphere. The EU will not protect Greenland from China.

Just call it the Trump Doctrine.
The EU will not protect Greenland from China.
The EU will not protect the EU from China.
Or Islam.
Or protect 14-year-old Scottish girls from sexual predators.
The only thing they protect is their own money, power and perversion, while President Trump defends America and Civilization itself, under the anointing of the Lord, Hallelujah!
Psalm 89
19 In a vision you spoke to your prophet [Samuel] and said, “I have chosen a splendid young man from the common people to be the king— 20 he is my servant David! I have anointed him with my holy oil. 21 I will steady him and make him strong. 22 His enemies shall not outwit him, nor shall the wicked overpower him. 23 I will beat down his adversaries before him and destroy those who hate him. 24 I will protect and bless him constantly and surround him with my love; he will be great because of me. 25 He will hold sway from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea. 26 And he will cry to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and my Rock of Salvation.’
Yes and Amen!
The EU “cannot” protect Greenland from China, they are incapable of protecting themselves. Until they decide to invest and project actual power they will be riding in the rumble seat of history.
The 14 year old girl sexual predator story speaks volumes. Amen to Psalm 89. We should all be reading the Psalms & Proverbs at this exciting time in history.
The EU is an economic alliance not a military one. The EU is part of NATO and NATO is a military alliance.
NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Greenland is in the North Atlantic Ocean.
So, Greenland is already protected by NATO. 😉
Try to keep up,we are NATO.
I’m a strong supporter of PDJT, but this tactic he’s used time and time and time again is just too much for me this time. Lol
Then go live in the EU…you’re avoiding blaming those who are actually creating the theatrics and as I already said “…but, but, but 👉👉👉👉 TRUMP!!!! 😭😭😭😭
To quote President Biden, “Come on man.”
To quote Bitme, “Come on man.” There that looks better.
Giddy Up, PRH! You saved my fingers from typing.

Liberty, you have it so don’t whine about it, use it.
I’m not a friend of Denmark. In fact, I dislike Nordic mentality and attitude; they are arrogant collectivists and very convinced of their own moral superiority. But turning the politics in WWE match every time is not a good policy, unless the goal is noise, ego, and very expensive theatrics (for which we’ll be presented with a devastating bill in November).
You mean the theatrics of those EU countries posturing as if they could/would even defend Greenland. I understand Denmarks reluctance but the rest of them prove to be more gimmegrants and welfare recipients having a meltdown over having their scams and freebies taken away! Entitled rich crybabies, having a temper tantrum!
We appreciate your concern…..
It’s revealing the enemies undermining America, both abroad and at home…. so no, the theatrics is well designed.
are you the same person that went along with the mean tweets period as well?
Obviously you have ignored the Art of the Deal and Sun Tzu’s the Art of War.
In an effort to help you stop looking ill informed, at least try reading this:
https://newsletter.amuseonx.com/p/trumps-art-of-the-deal-was-always
Please explain how in your words?
Well, go tell that to the Europeans; tell us you’re not paying attention without actually telling us.
Speaking of theatrics….
Being nice and using diplomatic-speak won’t get us anywhere. The only thing these dopes understand is straight talk backed up by actual force. Do you really think that the left in the US would behave if Trump sweet-talked them? Hell no. Everyone needs to put their big pants back on and support what Trump is trying to do for our country.
The EU is like a pair of big pants in a way…..cuz they need good ole US suspenders to hold them up!
How?
Calm down, Skippy. His approach exposes the infantilism of the EU.
Please tell us how.
Quit listening to the anti-Trump propagandists.
No war.
No capture.
It is in black and white above. Trump’s own words.
“until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland.”
Purchase! Deal!
Pres Trump did not send Congress men to Greenland to grandstand He does not direct the mainstream media to create the fear and misinformation. Sundance’s article explains beautifully Pres Trumps reasoning. There isn’t any theatrics.
“petty and childish” is the same strategy used on many.
It works beautifully. They all fall for the slap.
Disagree.
Know what petty looks like and it doesn’t fit.
President Trump does not operate with a small mind or in a spiteful way.
He loves America and so do we.
He has a lot to repair from shrubs, ozzomos and
autopen.
All of the “theatrics” are being performed by the EU, NATO, the UniParty and the Corrupt Corporate Media. Not President Trump.
All of the above hyenas are screeching about possible military intervention and a “forever war” initiated by President Trump to “conquer” Greenland. That’s performative nonsense and an absurd premise on its face. Andy and Barney from Mayberry PD could “conquer” Greenland.
The above “theater kids” are howling about President Trump “stealing the land” from Denmark and the citizens of Greenland. Of course, that’s land that the U.S. taxpayers spend many billions of dollars defending with very little contribution and absolutely no appreciation coming back from Denmark or anyone else in Europe.
And now we’re supposed to just roll over and let Denmark cozy up with China and give the Comunists control over the most strategically important land mass in the Western Hemisphere?
There are no theatrics coming from President Trump. “Theatrics” is another word for “dramatic pretending.” President Trump never pretends. All he wants is to protect America from all enemies, foreign and domestic. This is bare bones national security.
It’s the opposition globalist cabal, acting as their own nefarious theater company, that is doing all of the performing.
Theatrics?
I think he is just being transparent while the slimeballs in Brussels are much harsher and shrill in private.
I am thankful for the light President Trump shines on their hypocrisy!
If you have ever been bullied in your life, you have an aversion to bullies and their tactics. I like almost all of what PDJT does, but dislike almost everything he says. Not because of how it affects me, but because he comes across to others as a bully.
Rather than threaten on the world stage, how about negotiations behind the scenes. Remind the Greenlanders, and the Danes of how many times the US has used Greenland as a base and a stepping stone to Europe. It was vital to getting bombers to Britain in WWII which helped to defeat the Nazis. Perhaps the Danes have forgotten their occupation and the death camps.
The US has requested, negotiated, and attempted to acquire Greenland over the ages without success. These bullying tactics are not the way to achieve success.
I, for one, don’t accept your premise of “bullying tactics.”
That said…how has requesting, negotiating, etc. over the ages been working out?
Time for a more direct and open dialogue…which is EXACTLY what we’re seeing. Too many people simply cannot except open, direct straight talk, so they run from it and cry “BULLY”.
The EU on the other hand, are the ones who are actually attempting to use bullying tactics to keep their undeserved and failing status.
Hope that helps.
And then there’s Bacon. Don’t get me wrong, I love bacon but not Don Bacon.
That strategically illiterate buffoon has gone on the record stating his support for PDJT’s impeachment over… Greenland.
Paging a primary opponent! No One voted for Mr. Bacon to conduct United States domestic and foreign policy!
Rep. Fatback is resigning or retiring from CONgress and is exploring a run for POTUS. I recall reading this a couple of months ago.
Once again, Sundance, you’ve kept us up to speed! Thank YOU.
We Thank The LORD for you and ask HIS continuing protection over you. These are Truly Exciting & Amazing times in which we are living.
BLESSINGS everyone!
Live your Best Life.
Tomorrow, a day of Worship…see you all on Monday, LORD willing…and we do believe HE’S willing. Much left to do!
This is not just a desire, it’s a strategic imperative. PDJT Will do what is necessary to obtain this territory & I support 100%!
And for all you naysayers who believe this is “over-the-top”; you can pound sand. This is a cornerstone region for the Golden Done & also provides us a critical defense posture to protect the northern part of our hemisphere. If this doesn’t make sense to you or align with your beliefs then educate yourself before you decide to spew nonsense.
You will also be supporting the 50,000 alcohol and drug addicted Inuit Eskimos that Denmark pays $3.2 billion a year for their food, shelter and medical services.
50,000+ that will have opportunities for a much better life with just a modicum of economic development necessary to build out and operate vital defense infrastructure for the United States.
Earning a decent living is much more dignified then living on handouts.
We should try your idea first in Alaska and see if it works before we buy Greenland.
Alaska as a State is responsible for most of its own business.
Yes, you’re right! Alaska is a state and not our problem. However, your idea…
“a much better life with just a modicum of economic development” is brilliant.
Maybe we should try it in Baltimore?
Baltimore is not lacking for economic development. Try again.
Thanks for your concern.
Eastern Europe and the French seem to do well with their addictions.
Another case of governmental enabling.
Reducing an entire population to addiction statistics is not a strategic argument; it’s a moral shortcut used to avoid addressing the actual security issue.
This, especially in a region that’s a territory of countries that say they are loving and caring for their people…
Bingo!
LOL 😆 🤣 😂! What are we doing now????
Geez, I guess Denmark forgot about sterilizing the Inuit as well.
Sunriver “Patriot” is fully aware Danes didn’t forget about Inuit sterilization. ….as stated in his(?) post yesterday. …
“Greenland is an economic black hole fueled by it’s 92% drug and alcohol addicted Inuit Eskimo population that costs Denmark $3.2 billion a year in food, shelter and medical services. I guess the Danish government was trying to keep unmarried teenager girls from having babies. It doesn’t seem outrageous when you consider the circumstances!”

“The Pentagon plans to equip the United States with a unique missile defense system, dubbed “Golden Dome,” combining four layers of protection—one space-based and three ground-based—with 11 short-range batteries spread across the mainland, Alaska, and Hawaii. This flagship project of the Trump administration, revealed in an internal presentation obtained by Reuters, aims to be operational by 2028.”
“The projected cost is $175 billion, but uncertainties remain over the final architecture. The exact number of launchers, interceptors, ground stations, and missile sites remains to be determined. “They have a lot of money, but no clear target on spending yet,” commented a US official on condition of anonymity.”

In my (GGHD) opinion: with >all the Welfare fraud, freeloaders and layabouts in our country, cut-out the welfare freeloading and have more people working, the government dollar savings in about >three weeks would pay for the Golden Dome.
Smiling & enjoying immensely! Thank you, Sundance! God Bless you greatly for the intel you share. Thank you! 👍❤️🇺🇲
The Supreme Court was expected to make some kind of ruling on tariffs a week ago. What is the delay? Politics? Are tariffs instrumental to our national defense? Or, as others would argue, is it merely a tax?
There are some on the Supreme Court who can’t define what a ‘women’ is. Does one actually expect them to comprehend what a ‘tariff’ is?
🤣🤣love it!
It depends. Whose yard?
Back yard or front yard?
Questions to the deep thinkers on the Supreme Court are open to interpretation.
This yard?
Or maybe this yard:
“I know that for America there will always be a bright dawn ahead. Thank you, my friends. May God always bless you.”
lol ir depends whose feet 🙂
The mistake is treating tariffs as ‘merely a tax.’ While their legal form is fiscal, in practice they can function simultaneously as economic tools, strategic leverage, and instruments of national security—particularly when the executive explicitly invokes national security authorities to justify their use.
I forgot my rhetorical tag.
I hope PDJT breaks up the nazi caliphates of Brussels, Berlin, London and Paris.
PS How did Denmark justify selling the Virgin Islands to the USA?
$$ … I think they lost Holstein & Schleiswig provinces to the Prussians in a conflict, & wanted to buy it back.
They are beginning to break up on their own. What they have collectively done cannot be sustained.
This is a serious question: If the tariffs are linked to international diplomacy, security and even military actions where the President has greater constitutional powers is the Supreme Court less able to strike down the tariffs?
What kind of Pretzel will Robert’s twist himself into this time?
Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the US Constitution grants Congress the power “To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises,” note: duties on imports are tariffs.
Also, one branch of the gov’t cannot delegate its powers to another branch without limits or standards.
Since 1892, the Supreme Court has allowed delegation of tariff power if Congress provides an “intelligible principle” to guide the executive (from cases like J.W. Hampton in 1928 and Field v. Clark in 1892). These decisions enabled the regulatory state, and specifically allowed the President to implement or adjust tariffs per Congressional authorization.
With all of that precedence, the Court would vote against the President if they find the emergency act (International Emergency Economic Powers Act) does not have an intelligible principle. An intelligible principle is a guideline Congress gives when letting someone else (like the President) make rules, so it’s not a total blank check.
So to summarize, the President is in charge of foreign affairs, but Congress in charge of imposing duties (tariffs). Congress has delegated that tariff power to the President, but it cannot give a blank check, it must give guidelines.
That is where we are: are there guidelines to limit the power given to the President? Giving effectively unlimited tariff authority to the President risks violating Article I unless Congress supplies clear, enforceable standards.
You didn’t cite all of the Tariff authorities. From Brave…
Presidential Tariff Authorities: Congress has granted the President broad powers through several statutes:
It figures that a concern troll would leave relevant facts out of its argument.
I think Ursula should get Maduroed
No. It is up to the European people to do that themselves.
Similarly in Iran, good people outnumber the regime. They need to overthrow that regime themselves, and institute a functional government. All we can or should do is add a “bump” when it will get them over the hump.
Look at how President Trump is handling the transitions in Venezuela and Gaza.
Sun Tzu pointed out that a war is won before it starts.
Trying to overthrow Brussels and the unelected bureaucrats is about as easy as overthrowing DC and our corrupt politicians. Otherwise I agree.
Agreed. European citizens need to take a stand against their Nazi overlords, and this time, we will applaud them from the sidelines.
Trump makes us all uncomfortable at times but that is great leadership. To make progress one has to welcome and overcome being uncomfortable.
Excellent article Sundance.
I have no idea why the Trump administration couldn’t resolve the issue with Denmark quietly, without making inflammatory statements or threats. After all, Denmark is not an enemy and not even a competitor. Greenland is also not part of the EU.
That said, I’d closely watch the SCOTUS. Its decision on tariffs may remove some options from the table.
And the recent controversy re EU and Greenland might influence the SC decision on tariffs.
It’s the same pathological impulse every time… Everything must be public, personal, humiliating, and framed as dominance play.
Diplomacy becomes WWE, allies are treated like insolent subordinates, and any hint of “no” is received as a personal insult demanding retaliation.
You sound like the New York Times op-ed page.
Cry me a river. 🙄
Do you have any idea who is in cahoots with HRC, and other democrats who are undermining out country? You obviously have no idea whom you are talking about relative to some of these EU countries. Take note the group of Democrats that just went to EU upon Trump stating we need Greenland! They are saying there is no need for us to have Greenland, yet they claim Russia is a threat at the same time….. and we must fund Ukraine war…. They are full of SH!T and everyone knows it.
Not everybody.🤦
Interesting. That was never taught in high school geography or history.
Looking at the top of the world and the entrance to the Northeast or Northwest passage, brings to mind a comment made by Sarah Palin and the view she enjoyed.
And that narrow entrance to the Arctic Ocean. Which could very easily be controlled by nefarious forces.
To the north and west of mainland Greenland, who owns those islands? Greenland? Canada?
Side note…I know a Marine who did ‘winter training’, in Japan…learning to ski, snow shoe…etc…now it makes sense.
Canada is owned by the British…. and that’s why Rothschild crony and banker (anti American) Carney was installed….. the Royal family also owns Denmark…. so they are claiming it all….. just as they would love to claim America with their Democrat foot soldiers and double agents in our Govt.
BabyLon is falling down…
And the EU is basically the foot soldiers for the New World Order.
Best insult of the day!
In public schools we were almost exclusively shown maps that use the Mercator projection.
That makes the juxtaposition of the Northern Hemisphere land masses closest to the North Pole very difficult to recognize.
Wonder if that was deliberate.
We had those old pull down maps bolted to the walls above the blackboards…
My cousins and I were discussing their long ago trip to New Zealand…and pulled out an old fashioned desk top globe…that round thingy we are all familiar with from grade school back in the day….
It gave a huge perspective as to the location of said island nation…on this thing we call planet earth…
In 1957, we set up the DEW line across Alaska and Canada to give early warning of Soviet Bombers.
Airplane traffic to Asia tends to prefer the shorter route over the pole.
So when it matters, people become aware.
But mostly we are too self oriented. America at the center. North is up and East is right.
Yep. Part of NORAD.
As a kid I remember hearing Christmas Eve news reports “from NORAD” about Santa Claus being detected leaving the North Pole and heading south…..
It wasn’t until later I realized the con – from the North Pole, ALL directions are south. Silly me.
But the DEW Line was impressive that it could detect a relatively small sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer…..
That bright red nose of Rudolph gave it away.
🤣🤣
Palin said Russia can be seen from Alaska. Which is very true. There are two little Islands, just a few miles apart. One Russian and one part of Alaska.
Some idiot comedian twisted the true statement to a ridiculous absurdity. And everybody mocked Palin for what the comedian said.
Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live.
I wonder if last week the UK threatening to kick US out of Diego Gracia and EU threatening to take over the US bases there, had anything to do with the calculus.
I still grin thinking about Russia’s offer to help US take over Greenland.
When I looked up Diego Garcia, AI said it was a joint military base of the UK & USA since 1970(1). Could the UK actually throw them out at all? Of course it’s time to stop supplying the UK with US military intelligence and weapons because they are slowly becoming the enemy of free speech and have become overpopulated with foreigners.
When you see the word “joint” think section 8 renters, they built nothing, they maintain nothing. They are guests. They have no use for Diego Garcia without the U.S. logistical support that makes it viable. When you hear on the news that B-1’s or B2 bombers have dropped ordinance in the Mid east they have flown from Missouri to Diego/ to the target/ back to Diego / then home to Missouri. They only time we’ve ever stationed B2’s abroad was Pres. Bush Lite placing a half dozen om the tarmac in Guam for N.K. to see.
Diego is going nowhere.
I asked Santa for a huge wall map of the world for Christmas. It is now pinned on my wall. Oddly, I noticed Diego Garcia is not on the map even though other islands of similar size are.
It says Gulf of America rather than Gulf of Mexico.
MUST WATCH:
Worth the watch, Hollywood explains Greenland. Two minutes.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTjR5zdkXbV/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
P.S. I enjoyed the first season.
I count 37 😉
Well, plus an extra dogsled, so maybe 38(1 musher).
What a joke!
39 EU troops to protect Greenland!
Meanwhile UK is wanting to mobilize all its army up to the age of 60.
Germany is introducing conscription and has now instituted Muslim “chaplains” in its armed forces.
Absolute joke
The UK and EU cannot even protect its girls and women from Muslim murderers and rapists
Ah, but the real question is how many dogsleds did those Europeans bring with them?
If we put our own skin in the game when the risk is at its highest, why do you block us when the issue is our strategic security?
.
Please take a moment to consider Peary Land, the North East of Greenland.
There is no ice cap on Peary Land, the air is so dry the is virtually no precipitation.
It is deeply indented by major fjords, and on one, Citronen Fjord (which leads into Fredrick E. Hyde Fjord, there is what is thought to be the worlds largest resource of zinc.
This is being developed by an Australian mining company, Ironbark Zinc, in partnership with, effectively, China.
There being no ice cap or glaciers to deal with, the company is not concerned greatly with ice impeding shipping movements- whatever sea ice could be dealt with by icebreakers, Chinese or Finnish, as the case may be.
There is a great deal of potential here.
It is interesting that germanium has been located in the mine alongside zinc and lead.
Germanium arsenide (GeAs) makes for a higher performance semiconductor used in the defense industry.
https://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/189993/ironbark-moves-to-financing-stage-of-zinc-strategy-189993.html
Normally, I would drop a Buford T justice quote here.
Unless Zartibartfast really did sign his work, (Douglass Adams) I thought fjords could only be made by glaciers. Well, ice melts.
How about a “two-for”? Greenland today … Canadastan tomorrow?
The Alberta Referendum could take place in the autumn of 2026.

PURE PROJECTION: Gavin Newsom Says ‘Trump is Trying to Stoke a Civil Warhttps://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/01/pure-projection-gavin-newsom-says-trump-is-trying/
“Who do you think you arson?”
Neither Rubio or the light-weight Vance can carry on the Trump agenda in 2028.
That’s OK, we will make up a new acronym for post-Trump.
But, damn, this stuff is amazing. I can’t wait for Trump to beat down the democrat grift this year.
Happy new year!
I hope the deals he is creating will be, and a poor choice of words, I know, be bullet proof…meaning they will last long after the current obstructionists are out of office.
Funny that. I like both Marco Rubio and JDVance for 2028. My favorite though is with President Trump as Vice President,
No can do.
I’d rather have a President intent on doing what he thinks is right for America and honest about it.
Between Reagan and Trump, almost no Republican candidates were honest with us. Debates were about pretending to be the second coming of Reagan.
If they can’t permanently smear Trump, after Trump, we will have finally replaced all the Reagan pretenders with Trump pretenders.
While I do get a kick out of imagining flip-flopping Romney swallowing his bike and pretending to be Trump, severely so, only having pretend fake Trumps to choose from will be as bad as only having pretend fake Reagans to choose from.
Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain and Romney. If they didn’t lose and let the Dems ruin us, they won and did their own ruination.
Are you a member of the GOP? Why?
You don’t miss much trust me.
IMO – I think a lot of Americans are turned off by the optics and directness of Trump and only see him as being a bully from their perspective. Most people are woefully uneducated on the subject matter or too brainwashed to believe anything he does is good or correct. These same people would turn around and blame Trump for being incompetent if he allowed Russia or China to have a foothold in the Arctic after the fact.
Look at Maduro in Venezuela. During his first term, he was accused of being too soft on the Maduro regime, this term he removes him and he’s an off the rails dictator. Almost half the population and the MSM will be against any decision he makes, because Orange Man bad, so you know what? I agree with him just telling it like it is and doing the right thing for our country. F ‘em
Trump has made changes to the current situation of our country’s “governance”…that are so different, that almost everyone is against it…mostly the con’s in congress because they were comfortable in the old ‘statist’ ways.
The Prince should be required reading…
That is exactly what the TDS propagandists want us to think. So three cheers for freeing Trump from their abuse.
Now how do we free those duped by the TDS propagandists?
I don’t think we can win this. I mean, with those 37 troops in Greenland I just don’t think we can take them. And we’re not even counting the two dog sleds!!!

It’s important to note that the us already has bases in greenland, including the Pituffik Space Base (formerly Thule Air Base)
Both denmark and the US signed a treaty (Kauffmann Treaty 1941 & 1951) that allowed the us to built bases in greenland.

Sometimes community notes completely miss the point, like here. It doesn’t matter whether the United States has, or could have, bases in Greenland. Without sovereignty, it means nothing, especially given that Europe cannot be relied on over the long term due to societal suicide.

EU-US trade deal ‘on hold’ after new Trump tariffs
https://www.politico.eu/article/eu-us-trade-deal-on-hold-after-new-trump-tariffs
I see that a large gaggle o Concern Trolls are here this morning, “concerned” about PDJT and seeing no value in Greenland.
I know it’s super cold in Minnesota, so trolling the Treehouse while you sip your hot cocoa during insurrection break is a welcome distraction.
Pearls duly clutched!
Somewhere, here I think, I read that other Presidents considered the same things regarding Greenland…so its not a new idea. Those trolls were never taught about it while attending their indoctrination and re-education centers known as public school.
IMO, there’s definitely US politicians grifting off of the status quo. The following ‘Congressional delegation’ went to Greenland a few days ago, supposedly to assure the Greenlanders that PDJT’s idea is not going to get through Congress, or whatever. But, I’m sure they really went there to cover up whatever Minnesota-like fraud is going on. Dick Durbin, who is retiring from his Senate seat, gives away the plot. I don’t think he would make the effort unless there is something that endangers his future.
Leader: Senator Chris Coons (D-DE)
Republican Senators: Thom Tillis (R-NC), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Democratic Senators: Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH, Ranking Member of Senate Foreign Relations Committee), Dick Durbin (D-IL)
Democratic House Members: Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Gregory Meeks (D-NY), Madeleine Dean (D-PA), Sara Jacobs (D-CA), Sarah McBride (D-DE)
Maddie Dean is a real piece of work.

What we are witnessing is the uncomfortable aspects of diplomacy.
PT isn’t hiding his contempt for the WU anymore. Pretending that all is well, when it’s not.
He is telling the world that the Europeans are greedy self sieving leeches and he won’t stand for it.
As I told my wife all these decisions are to build the rationale snd solid basis to pull the US out of NATO; that will eventually include bringing those US military bases (and personnel) back home to the continental US, where they belong.
It’s long past due; Europe needs to defend itself.
The EU leadership is only pissed because they know all the free stuff they offer their citizens will go “poof,” especially with all of the hordes they imported.
The ‘NATO response’ in Greenland is laughable – symbolic only.
But symbolic of just how pathetic the EU is – could they have done much more, if there were a REAL threat (Chinese/Russian) to Greenland?
And if this issue – Greenland – is the breaking point of NATO – perhaps it is just as well.
Was NATO Ever meant to be eternal?
I think our bases offer a benefit…

GOP Congressman Says It’s Very Likely The US Acquires Greenland And Breaks Down EXACTLY Why It’s Needed, ‘China Attacks Us Every Single Day’:

” Trump named a special envoy to engage directly with Greenland, bypassing Denmark. Danish officials demanded involvement once it became clear any US acquisition would pay Greenlanders alone. Both Greenland & Denmark are now at the White House discussing next steps. Denmark forfeited any claim to compensation when it accepted Greenland’s right to independence, but now wants back in as real negotiations begin.”
Read full article:
The Globalists in Western Europe (as well as America’s enemies) Hate Trump because he won’t play the game of America being subservient to the EU’s whims. Like many “modern” feminized Western women, they have a problem with irrational delusions of entitlement. They want to go back to the days of managed decline in America. The want America on a leash, rather than a superpower. They want America to be only strong enough to protect Europe and to subsidize their unsustainable Socialism and “Green” initiatives, but not strong enough, nor independent enough to be able to rock their comfortable boat.
NATO has become a useless relic, in a military sense. It’s only remaining use is to propagandize the EU’s “subjects,” fact check and criminalize their free speech, manipulate elections, use Alinsky tactics on “out of step” politicians and political parties (such as the AFD) and sponsor regime change in Eastern European countries who do not toe the self-destructive Globalist / Socialist Western European line. In short, NATO has been repurposed to defend Western Europe’s Globalist / Socialist ideals, rather than Western civilization and the ground upon which they tread. WHY do we continue to participate in and subsidize this repugnant situation?!?!?! Western Europe has gone their own way! We should wish them luck and go our own way, too!!!
The verbal beat downs will continue until the uppity EU parasites attitudes improve. They would give Greenland to their communist colleagues in China if given the chance.
Why now?
The Cold War went from 1945 to 1991.
The USSR never threatened Greenland.
Putin has more than enough problems in his backyard.
That he wants to create new problems
by trying to control a restive population of Greenland natives,
not to mention how the U.S. would counter his attempts at control,
is absurd.
Likewise, if the U.S. tries to control Greenland,
it too will have to deal with a restive native population.
As to China, it has neither the sealift nor the airlift to move forces to Greenland.
(If it wants to control any island, that island would be Taiwan.)
If either Russia or China tried to control Greenland,
their long supply lines would be extremely vulnerable to interdiction.
There is no way they could support their forces there for any significant length of time.
How much money would attempting to do that cost them?
This whole Greenland obsession is absurd.
If the people in Greenland vote to cut their ties with Denmark
and form some sort of alliance with the United States,
then by all means we should agree to that.
But polls in Greenland show the opposite.
No they don’t, they currently run 47% in favor vs, 45% opposed with minds being changed daily.
What poll are you referring to?
I am familiar with this one:
https://www.reuters.com/world/poll-shows-85-greenlanders-do-not-want-be-part-us-2025-01-29/
“An opinion poll indicated that 85% of Greenlanders do not wish their Arctic island – a semi-autonomous Danish territory – to become a part of the United States,
with nearly half saying they see interest by U.S. President Donald Trump as a threat.
…
The survey by pollster Verian, commissioned by the Danish newspaper Berlingske and Greenlandic daily Sermitsiaq,
showed only 6% of Greenlanders are in favour of their island becoming part of the U.S., with 9% undecided.”
Of course, different polls may show different results.
All may have biases.
what about Canada?
It represents a greater threat than Russia
Mice must have eaten the porridge. Goldie ate the meat.
Wait till President Trump offers to buy Taiwan….
Who does Greenland belong to? Denmark or the EU?
‘Europe’ wants it both ways. They want a European Union and they want European nation-states. That is incompatible. They need to choose. It is not practicable for the United States to deal with both. Either nation-states or a union. If they choose a union, then NATO is obsolete. The EU could try to negotiate a security arrangement with the United States.
If they choose a union, then the European nation-states are obsolete. They become provinces or states. The current prime ministers, etc. become governors. I.e., there is no reason for the United States to have embassies in the provinces of Gemany England, Italy. There should be one embassy in Brussels, the rest become consulates. There should be no such thing as foreign policy between a European province or state and the United States.
If they choose to be European nation-states then there is no such thing as foreign policy between the United States and the EU. The EU should just be concerned with internal issues in Europe. 🤔
Correction England isn’t (technically) part of EU.
Is Greenland for sale?
Maybe it is just a matter of price? 😁
Yup. Done deal. Just need to finalize the terms sheet.
The Marshal Plan is over .

Now do Ireland.
All the “concern” being shown by “commentators” attempting to prove that Greenland is of no significance to the USA………
are using the current status quo of world power players. Look into the future and Russia may not be controlled by a reasonable president. China may become aggressive if their communist stranglehold on their peoples is threatened. It is no longer far fetched to envision the EU or parts of it to become open aggressive enemies as their economies fail and they are invaded by immigration. Some of the EU nations are building up their military capabilities as we speak….the EU is now a rival who has had their economic pacifier removed.
As for the hyper sonic missile having no defense against it? That is only true at the present and possibly already not even true.
Every new weapon has a counter weapon under development almost before the new weapon is deployed.
What president Trump is telling the citizens of the USA is he has “Star Wars” in his back pocket and we need Greenland.
“Now, because of The Golden Dome, and Modern-Day Weapons Systems, both Offensive and Defensive, the need to ACQUIRE is especially important.”
stated another way …Why would you knowingly choose to remain under a (Mutually Assured Destruction) MAD scenario with Russia/China/the EU or any other nuclear missile capable nation? President Trump is working on a safety shield for the public that would defend and protect from any potential adversary!
Look into the future and recognize the strategic importance
Addendum.
Look at that polar map again in another perspective; look at it offensively. Greenland is a dagger pointed at the Eurasian continent no matter who controls what parts of the continent.
You can tell it’s a Great Idea by who hates it.
Absolutely.
