Epstein was not the only person in this country abusing women, a crime which takes places constantly, even today. The only relevance the Epstein story has to our day-to-day lives is a feeling of just vindication that the rich and powerful, who perpetrate such things, be as liable to punishment as we would be. That’s it. But as a priority for the Trump administration? It’s not that high on the list nor should it be.
I would really like to see Bill and Andrew and whoever else was allegedly involved prosecuted in this lifetime for any offenses, I really would. But as it pertains to me, it would be schadenfreude – my life would not change one whit because these people just don’t matter that much to me. I want to see justice done for the sake of the injured, and to see it prevail, but if this became a fixation of the President I’d be greatly disappointed.

Would argue any of the domestic side of it would be entirely moot if the international part of the agreement was kaput.

Also, the turbo setup is not as conducive to the longevity of the engine as compared to a naturally aspirated one. Always trade-offs, more wear and tear for sqeezing more performance out of a comparatively smaller engine then just making a somewhat bigger engine with a higher baseline.
Ditto more complicated (read expensive) transmissions with more gears. 10+ speed transmission in a pickup truck? Really? Not going to touch on the CVTs being a more reliable design reputedly by the industry.

Because of the CAFE standards vehicles have become overly complicated and that is a big reason why there is a shortage of mechanics. Hopefully they will become less complicated so people can work on their cars and trucks and not have to have thousands of dollars worth of tools to do so.

Canada is squarely in the crosshairs of a disruptive economic missile of nuclear proportions. Failure to plan on Canada’s part does not constitute a concern on the U.S.’s part. Just convert the Maple Leaf flag from a national symbol to a state symbol.

Well, we’ve all known for awhile now that Trump is ready to reconfigure our trade agreements with Canada and Mexico. Sheinbaum has already signed a bi-lat and moved on. It’s just Canada who remains, laying there picking their noses and scoffing. They just don’t have enough brains to understand that their days of freeloading are over.
So do you think Canada will end up as a vassal state of China or do you think the US will forcefully prevent that and claim Canada for ourselves? I can’t imagine Canada remaining an independent country at this point. Their idiot government has screwed the pooch a bit too forcefully to go back now.
