The geopolitical baseline for Europe is often determined by the economics of their situation. In 2024 approximately 408,000 cars from China were sold in Europe. For 2025 that number is now expected to exceed 700,000 units despite tariffs.
Previously we highlighted the short-term ramifications of the European Union push to force the sale of electric vehicle (EVs) upon the consumer base. {SEE HERE} EU automakers unable to meet the compliance goal began purchasing carbon credits to avoid stiff EU fines. Many of those carbon credits were purchased from Chinese automakers, who then turned around and started using the extra EU revenue to discount Chinese cars sold in Europe.
In essence, EU car companies started subsiding China to undercut their own market. An outcome of the EU chasing the ridiculous green energy project throughout the European free trade zone.
Now reports are beginning to surface of how the non-EV segment of the industry is being lost to less expensive Chinese hybrid autos that: (1) are much cheaper, (2) not bad in quality, and (3) are not subject to the 35% EV tariff rate.
The EU tariff applied to gasoline powered cars or hybrids from China is 10%. That tariff is not enough to stop the imports. The Chinese hybrid autos are substantially less than European car brands, and there’s no financial incentive for China to build auto plants in the EU zone especially when you consider the EU is subsidizing those cars by purchasing carbon credits.
When analyzed from a cost and consequence, the entire EU dynamic toward car companies is a little funny. However, for Germany this is a serious issue, and with the German industrial economy already stagnant – every impact to their auto industry only makes the situation worse.
When you overlay the big picture of their expensive “green energy” costs, the EU find themselves in an unescapable downward spiral. Quite literally, all commonsense seems to have been lost in their green energy chase.
By focusing on energy targets, specifically by trying to force production of European electric vehicles that are not favored by European car purchasers, the EU is shrinking their economy to the benefit of Beijing exploitation.
EUROPE – This year, sales of Chinese-made cars across the EU, UK, and EFTA are expected to exceed 700,000. This is up significantly from the 408,000 that were sold in 2024.
The surge comes despite the fact that additional tariffs of up to 35 percent, on top of the existing 10 percent import duty, were instated in November of last year.
Rather than dampen demand, the tariffs have simply redirected it. While the added fees specifically target EVs and extended-range electric vehicles, hybrid and internal combustion engine (ICE) models remain subject only to the base 10 percent tariff.
Predictably, Chinese brands have leaned into that category, shifting their European strategy toward models that sidestep the higher costs.
Thanks to significantly lower production costs, up to 30 percent cheaper than in Europe, it doesn’t make financial sense for these brands to relocate production just to serve a tariff-guarded market. Instead, they’re exploiting the gap. (read more)
The only Chinese auto plant current in the works for construction is in Hungary, not coincidentally the country with the most common sense as it applies to energy costs. BYD (Build Your Dream) is building a plant in Hungary expected to manufacture 150,000 units/yr.
While most EVs are generally best for short duration use, the Chinese hybrid vehicles are not a terrible build quality if you are an auto purchaser that changes vehicles frequently. We dodged a bullet by electing President Trump in 2024, because Joe Biden (Blackrock) had positioned the North American auto industry toward a similar fate as currently happening in Europe.
Three Chinese automakers were going to spend $5 billion in Mexico creating new EV and hybrid vehicles destined for the U.S. market. However, Beijing abandoned those plans as soon as President Trump won the election.
The Europeans and leftists in the U.S. scoffed at President Trump for rejecting the premise behind the Green New Deal, which included electric car mandates. Those same Europeans are now watching as their industrial economy collapses segment by segment; taken over by far cheaper Chinese industrial outputs.

Which is better: Importing 700,000 Chinese cars or importing 700,000 Muslim workers to build German cars?
We can poll the 600,000 Chinese nationals we’ll be allowing in on student visas their opinions.
J
The correct amount is 300,000 Chinese students allowed to be in the USA for 2 years.
How about 1,000 instead of 300,000 or 600,000
I say zero!!!
the correct answer is ZERO
Yup.
Thanks for the reply. The number is 600,000 – I didn’t throw that number out carelessly.
But for the sake of discussion, let’s assume it was only 300,000. Picture a scenario where “only” 300,00 Chinese nationals, all beholden to the Communist party, studying and operating inside the U.S., is considered a more palatable number. Then consider that the true number is 600,000. It boggles the mind.
I’ve said before that the President is the titular head of the MAGA movement, but that it did not begin with him. Americans are a flexible, resilient people. They watched a regime allow a wholesale invasion of the U.S. for four years without rising in revolt. And Trump deserves full praise for what he’s done to address illegal immigration. But if he doesn’t find a sane policy vis-a-vis legal immigration, be it H1-B visas or foreign students, he’ll lose the immigration argument. Allowing that many Chinese nationals into the U.S. is not MAGA – it’s insane.
The American people are not obligated to swallow more insanity just because it’s Trump dishing it out.
J
muslims in germany do not seek employment
Nor are they required to apparently. Why bother when German benefits are beyond generous…and it would be “Islamophobic” to deny them for these “new Germans”.
The Germans who have to work to provide the benefits to the muzzies must love this as much as we do. I quit Comcast because they offered new customers way better deals than existing customers…seems to me this is what governments are doing with their imported voters.
And I’m sick of the words ending in “phobic” that the left uses to scare everyone into submission..too effectively like with the word “racist!”.. I’m gong to start accusing them of being “Christianphobic” or “whiteaphobic”. See how they like it.
Excellent idea: MAGAphobic; Whiteyphobic; Workphobic; Responsibilityphobic
Very good! And I like your whiteyphobic better than mine.
It’s all in our faces now, Scarlett. No need to obscure the blatant message, reinforced by quick arrests and prosecutions for daring to notice.
The use of the suffix “-phobic” when being charged or accused is disingenuous and just plain incorrect.
But as that’s their preference, carry on, dear lady. What’s good for the goose, etc etc…
The origin of muslim migration into Germany was Turkish auto workers brought in to address post war labor shortages in the early 1960s.
The Gastarbeiter program.
Between German engineering and automation, I wonder just how many workers are needed in the modern German auto factory:
Islamic culture does not value work.
It never has, going back to the ancient days of Bedouins raiding caravans in the desert. There are no Islamic cultural icons celebrated because hard workers, builders, creators, innovators.
There are numerous Islamic cultural icons who are celebrated for conquering, plundering and enslaving the infidel. The Prophet Muhammed is the most celebrated plunderer of all, the model all Muslims are taught to emulate.
Many years ago, Germany imported Turkish workers to build VWs and BMWs and Mercedes. They were not immigrants but somehow many stayed…and had families with children… and eventually became Germans.
Your question is irrelevant.
700,000 Muslims won’t work to build cars.
Right they can name the brand MMW.. (Muslim Men Working.). although working for a living is not part of their practice ..
So true.
Sand Mexicans no work, only take.
I think they are trying to do both, are they not?
Uh, how about they end their Socialist welfare state that is now broke and get off their asses and build their own cars?
I see this as great jobs that they don’t want to do.
And why is that?
Socialism creates very lazy people for one thing.
And they are also not even smart enough to see it all this way.
Well, since you put it like that. lol
Definitely, cars, they don’t procreate.
Regarding Chinese students … my son graduated HS in 1991 … by 1993, LSU was infested with Chinese students … the American students called them “bedheads” because they took OVER the Computer Lab cubicles – including sleeping in them … by the time the American students were inching towards graduation in 1995+ they distinguished the newest invasion as “dots”, “not feathers”.
The numbers of foreign invading “students” now, 30 years, later must be astronomical !!!
“………………they distinguished the newest invasion as “dots”, “not feathers”.
In my collegiate years there were two verities, the ones with the dot and the ones that wore a turban. Engineering students sometimes distinguished the two as being either “push to start” or “pull to start.” (Yeah…….children can be cruel.)
My Canadian grad school department in the 70s was 100% Canadian, American and British . In 2020 it was about 75% Chinese.
Muslims won’t work…
We dogged a bullet electing Trump.
His genius shines through every day.
The word salad hen the dems ran couldn’t comprehend this article if she read it fifty times.
The problem is that the low information mostly white democrat fool is too intellectually and
low IQ challenged to see it.
I disagree. trump is a temporary reprieve. all of the structural problems pre trump remain post trump. the time and opportunity should have used to organize a lasting alternative replacement to our current shitshow government. sadly I have seen none this. our idiots think we’re winning because we have Trump and have gone complacent once again which is shown in low turnout off year elections.
Can’t agree more. The goal was not to just elect a great president, but to fundamentally change back to what made America great.
That work still needs to be done and done quickly as time is running out.
If it’s not done, we are one step forward and 20 steps back come the next administration.
Feckless Rs of the DC Industrial Complex.
all on the Chinese payroll too
The meme of Biden on a leash, kneeling while Xi holds the leash, comes to mind.
The short Biden Dynasty can be called “Bidenus Interuptus”…?
90% of Trump improvements are via EO’s, which POTUS Crockett could over turn in the first day. Unless something is done well, done soon and settled with “The Judges”, don’t even talk about “winning an election”!
Unless CW2 starts. Dead criminals commit no more crimes that is a fact prove me wrong. Clean up government and judiciary. Designated Survivor comes to mind. Must include all judges.
Yup.
Our useless Congress is merely cooling their jets.
The entire institution needs to be retooled.
NO MORE NON-CITIZENS IN CONGRESS!
Low turnout off year election losses showcase 2 things.
There’s no appetite to vote for quisling UniParty republican’ts & the systemic fraud is still embedded in the system.
So true
Yet we do not see anyone fresh who will step up to the plate against the uniparty.
Begs the question: what changes do we really want?
The government is run by those that show up.
This is the most true statement there is.
So who good on our side is showing up?
Who are the locals in all our areas that could win and yet don’t step up?
This is on us.. no one is going to hand us our country back- to quote Steve Bannon, it’s very true.
It’s a “Bipartisan” effort to destroy our nation.
As George Carlin rightly observed long ago…
“The word ‘Bipartisan’ means larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.”
BUT the problem with this is that we’re handing races to Democrats!!
This right here is how the entire state of Vermont has been lost- the Republicans stop playing, handed the Democrats the state and now they are in deep trouble.
I doubt many will live long enough to regain the power to swing things more to the center again.
So the answer here is not to stop voting, it’s to start playing FOR REAL and get some candidates that can win running, AND Then get them over the finish line.
We seem to think that voting is all we need to do, that is but one thing.
Own the gameboard !!
Control the gameboard.
Build the gameboard.
Rebuild it if you gave it away.
Play the game and win it, own it.
To stop voting because you don’t like your choices? WTF retard move is that???
Get off your asses people.
Small supporting point. In Fairfax County, Virginia, a vote was held to replace a County Supervisor who was appointed to Congress to fill Gerry Connoly’s seat. The turn out was 17%. The vote was 60-35 Dem. The other five percent went to independents.
Didn’t know there are that many R’s in Fairfax county, home of the most gov teet feeders.
It could have been worse. In the special election to replace Connoly, the Dem won 75-24.
NOVA would vote for a bucket of poo if it had a D on it.
As I said 9 years ago, Trump is just a bump in the road to perdition.
End of the world apologists are so short sighted.
They already have nothing to lose.
Agree 100%, sadly
Right. It can all be turned around in one day with a slew of Executive Orders. We’ve got to dismantle the architecture.
As of today Trump is all that stands between us and ruin. When he steps down, the ruin resumes.
Don’t write off Trumps successors like Vance and Rubio just yet.
Trump dodged a bullet too. A real one.
Unfortunately the entire GOPe Senate is against us (MAGA) as are at least 40% of the GOPe /Uniparty House Reps and 80% of the federal bureaucracy (Adminstrative State).
MAGA simply isn’t profitable for their corrupt grifting.
I’m sorry – who is doing the grifting?
Shorter list, who isn’t doing the grifting?
Congresscritters: senate and house. If you are pro MAGA you will be attacked. If you are ProRINO, there is huge money to be made in allowing your votes to be for sale and great help in keeping your image polished and votes altered at election time to keep your seat — so long as you do the bidding of the the WEF/USCOC/DeepState
Well said!
Rep. Crenshaw threatens Shawn Ryan w/ lawsuit:
No surprise there…. (IMHO) Dan Crenshaw ranks at or near the top of the most disgustingly disingenuous anti-Trump/ anti-MAGA RINO grifters in CONgress.
It would be great if Trump would do a rally in Crenshaws district with a MAGA challenger.
Unless the voting there is rigged (which is very possible) a Trump-endorsed challenger should win by large #’s.
Discovery ought to be a hoot.
“The problem is that the low information mostly white democrat fool is too intellectually and
low IQ challenged to see it.”
And that’s the way the Department of Indoctrination intended to keep it.
So in the end, Europeans will be driving gasoline or diesel powered cars made in China instead of driving gasoline or diesel powered cars made in Europe.
Net change in carbon emissions = 0
Net change in unemployment = 3 million (give or take)
i’m thinking they’re going to be driving compact Flintstones if the EU has their way.
yabba dabba do!😂
Rubber roads and stone tires??
Bingo
Yes, the car manufacturers dodged a bullet just as Trump dodged a bullet in Butler, however… leftists are communist and play the long game. EV’s, windmills, carbon credits and solar will be back in 2027. This time they will not fail.
I bet you’re a regular laugh riot at parties. 😂
Nah. The Globalists are ditching the New Green Scam in favor of AI / digital ID as their preferred control vector of us Deplorables. AI requires massive amounts of cheap energy. It’s been, and will continue to be, fascinating to watch.
i keep sayign this, and wish people would look deeper than a couple headlines… the oligarchs have NOT abandoned green scams. all they have said is that their “messaging” was off and they need to retool it.
they will be back in force. as the debate above has stated, trump is but a reprieve; unless there are deep structural changes that prevent it from returning, emperor newsom is going to make obiden look like a walk in the park.
“massive amounts of cheap energy”? Cheap for who? The AI “builders” usually want 10x the current capacity in just a few years. The “builders” generally hesitate to step up and pay for it, arguing it’s a “public utility”. Using the electricity creates a LOT of heat that must be dissipated and most methods are quite noisy! You won’t want to live within 5 miles of one. Computer ANYTHING is generally obsolete in 10 years or less, so this is a recurring wave of increased Funding, Power, Cooling, Computers, and Profits! SHOW ME, how this investment will pay for itself to the public and the billionaires that are all excited about AI and pushing to make a ton more money.
TALK and VISIONS are cheap and subject to BUBBLES of IRRATIONAL EXUBERANCE!
When this bubble bursts, it will be World-Wide devastating.
You’re slightly incorrect. Every economy altering technology like the rail road, auto’s, planes, radio, TV’s, internet, etc…have always gone thru a Boom-Bust-Massive growth and technological advancements phases. In fact the majority of the financial growth is after the bust as well all of the real technology advancement of the boom comes after the bust. This isn’t speculation it’s historical facts.
Just exactly is the benefit from these AI centers? In plain language please. I only a site that accumulates more data on us.
One aspect….all those illegals…they clamor for and get health care. Health care is served on an electronic medical record. Along with our data.
All of our health care info eventually finds its way (is sent) to a “data warehouse”, so I wonder how the AI centers figure in that mess?
It’s always about where they think they can weild the most power.
Lol. Jahajaja
Otay!
Well, this just in
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2025/12/13/eu-to-abandon-ban-on-internal-combustion-engine-top-parliamentarian-claims/
Probably a little late but then again this is a bunch of power hungry Eurorats we’re talking about.
European socialism appears to be another brand of totalitarianism. It’s all about control of the sheeple.
Feudalism is what they want, but the “neo-princes” need to make more peasants first.
Precisely, neo feudalism serfs .
By it’s actions, the EU leadership is working for the benefit of China and against heritage EU citizens, against the U.S. and against Christian based Western culture.
That means the EU is an enemy to U.S. interests and must be treated as hostile. EU is engaged in warlike hostility against us.
Hmmm that seems like what the US leadership, both repubs and dems are doing to us.
We need to become an enemy of those clowns as well.
You are both right. We The People have a long list of mortal enemies who seek our destruction.
1. America’s UniParty-both parties in all levels of government.
2. America’s “Fourth Branch” of government. This includes the leviathan bureaucracy, the Deep State (FBI, CIA, etc), the corporate media and entertainment complex, and the social media platforms controlled by all of the above.
3. The Global Money Mafia-multinational banks, investment firms, corporations and the billionaires who control them.
4. America’s Education Cartel-responsible for creating multiple generations of poorly educated useful idiots for the benefit of an authoritarian regime.
5. Islam-a totalitarian system of government masquerading as a religion. Islam has made war with us continuously since the 1700’s, and they will never stop until we eradicate them.
One man (President Trump) cannot defeat all of these enemies on his own in four years (or eight years). Our President has done more by himself than any other President in history, but the job isn’t done. The job can only be done by Almighty God in response to a faithful people.
2 Chronicles 7:14
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Bruce Gordon,
Great summary, excellent post. Well done. Couldn’t agree more.
Thank you Mrs. Sunshine.
Best post of the decade!
Instead of complaining, we need to use our talents and faith to take back our country. President Trump is showing the way, but he can’t do it without us.
Heavenly Father wrote the scrip(ture) to this movie we are seeing/ experiencing now.
If we do as 2 Chronicles 7:14 says there is no fear as the Ending has already been written. Those who believe and read the Word know these things.
God’s grace is upon all that seek him.
John 3:3 “Truly, Truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. ”
All of these things will come to pass as it is written let it be done.
Cain’s progeny ((Muslims) have been at war with us since the beginning of time.
May we all live to experience the coming Rapture. Amen and Amen 🙏
We are the enemy of those clowns…or if you have not noticed, must be doing better than the average joe…
And yet the head of NATO Chief Mark Rutte has the gall, the arrogance to tell NATO to prepare for war against Russia!!! The tail is trying to wag the dog but fortunately President Trump isn’t falling for it!!! The time to get out of NATO is now let the EUweenies fight their never ending wars!!! JMO. Godspeed President Trump our Peacemaker!!!
I will say this, since Mrs. Sunshine has arrived here at CTH things seem a bit brighter!!! JMO
Thank you, Bubby; very sweet of you. I always enjoy your comments!
Edit: spelling error.
The Europeans live entirely in some sort of a fantasyland- it’s life as they imagine that it is, it’s not life as it all really is.
And the rest of the world doesn’t live this way- at all.
So nothing they are doing is right, or accurate, or going to work -because none of it is based upon Truth.
It’s insanity, they want utopia but live in dystopia.
They’ve created the Dystopia- while attempting to create the Utopia.
I’m reminded of that quote by Doc Holliday:
“There is no Normal Life- there is just Life”.
So if there isn’t even normal life, there certainly isn’t a Utopia !!
Stop wrecking the place trying to create your version of Utopia and just live your best life here in what it all is.. LIFE.
Be accepting of what is and what isn’t.
I’m sure there is something in the bible that states this all far better.
I don’t feel bad for Europe. They voted for their own decline. Weak men create bad times. All the alphas killed each other in two WWs. The subsequent generations of men were raised by beta collaborators whose primary goal was control, at the expense of personal freedoms.
We subsidized their socialist wet dreams for nearly 70 years. It metastasized into cultural and spiritual rot.
Now they need WWIII to cling to power, as they destroy their heritage natives for new imported serfs.
This is exactly it.
We’ve fed the wild animals and now they’ve become dependent, lazy and lost their own natural instincts and even desire to survive.
They don’t want to do the work of figuring it all out.
Instead they are on a constant quest for other peoples money- rather then be entirely self sustaining through self reliance.
Those ‘newcomers’ are planning to be their rulers, not their serfs. Yet the globalists can’t see what’s coming for them.
The only thing worse than German Nazis are German Communists.
That continent is in shambles. Not enough lampposts.
weimar germany was forced to make an awful choice between national socialists and bolsheviks.
they are in the process of choosing again.
BlackRock reference? Wasn’t Fink present at the Witkoff/Kushner negotians? Orwell was prophetic. . We are a corporate oligarchy.
I wonder where Europe will get the electricity to power those cars?
From the outlet in the wall, duh……🤪
Powered by windmills that won’t work and rainbows in trans colors….
Lolol.
Question regarding the expiration of the USMCA and the 2 bilateral agreement Trump wants.
So, these new trade agreements are negotiated by Trump, but then ratified by Senate, correct? How close to 110% will it be that Senate (esp GOPrick RINOrats) won’t ratify (even if, by some miracle, still in majority). And especially if the GOPrick RINOrats throw the November 2026 elections as is their plan? We know ratification would be after November 2026 elections.
What is the result, no trade agreement? What does no trade agreement look like?
Awesome
Mexico has just carried out Donald Trump’s most forceful geopolitical order in North America since his return to the White House.
It’s not just a tariff: it’s a historic dividing line.
When Claudia Sheinbaum’s government announced tariffs of up to 50% against China, it wasn’t making a sovereign decision: it was fulfilling Washington’s strategic directive to definitively separate Mexico from the economic influence of the Asian giant.
Trump understood this years ago:
whoever controls Mexican manufacturing controls North America’s industrial future.
And for Trump, the growing closeness between Mexico and China was a direct threat to the heart of the new American protectionism.
Today, what was unthinkable just a year ago has been consummated:
Mexico is fully aligning itself with Washington’s designs and effectively severing the most important bridge that China had built on the continent.
This tariff isn’t against goods:
It’s against a worldview.
This is a declaration that the USMCA is no longer just a trade agreement, but an instrument of geostrategic containment.
Sheinbaum, by yielding without resistance, sends a clear message:
Mexico is relinquishing its role as an independent entity between two superpowers and betting its entire industrial future on Trump’s priorities.
Not even López Obrador dared to go this far.
What does this mean for North America?
• The United States is consolidating its economic encirclement of China from its southern border.
• Mexico is becoming a disciplined manufacturing appendage, with no room to diversify risks or alliances.
• Canada is watching, knowing that the new North American order is not negotiated: it is obeyed.
• And China understands that the Mexican door has closed… not by Mexican decision, but by US mandate.
This is the real breaking news:
It’s not the tariffs.
It’s the confirmation that Trump governs not only the United States, but the entire geopolitical space of the USMCA.
And Mexico, instead of being an arbiter between two worlds, decided to become a pawn.
A pawn that is moving today… but not of its own volition.
Mexico cut the cord…to China that is! 😂
excellent comment, Bobo.
well thought out, astute observations.
i think you’re right on all points.
Trump is not looking to enslave Mexico.
The Mexican people are already enslaved to the cartels and their politicians.
Which nation might offer the best situation for the Citizens of Mexico to begin to experience liberty…China or the US?
Trump does not rule over other nations, but he is looking for positive relationships with them…..because we are demanding reform along that line.
IF you are complaining about the Tower of Babel being dismantled, you may remain under it’s purview by removing yourself to Europe or China.
i think Mexico made the rational choice – of their own volition – as to what was in their best interests
in terms of trade.
and to your point, i agree a closer working relationship with the U.S. offers Mexico a possible pathway to throw off the cartels – China would not.
and again you’re right, PT does not look to rule or enslave anybody, rather he gives options.
although in this case i think it was very close to an “offer they couldn’t refuse”. 😆
hope it’s not 2 degrees F wherever you are, like it is here!🥶
Perhaps you misread Bobo’s comment.
Mexico had to make a decision and before President Trump U.S. leaders made China the attractive choice for Mexico. That hurt our country not only in trade but our power in this hemisphere.
President Trump changed things so we are now the attractive choice and Mexico agreed.
By doing this, President Trump not only fixed trade but made a huge step in protecting our sovereignty both now and building into the future.
And!!! The weather is awesome in Yucatán. A nice 81 degrees!!!
Gracias Dios
“This tariff isn’t against goods:
It’s against a worldview.”
What a brilliant way to sum up what President Trump is doing.
For anyone who hasn’t looked at President Trump’s new national security policy, here is a link:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/national-security/
It’s written in plain, easy-to-use language.
And what caused Mexico to move to our side? What did we offer something in return?
Bobo said it in plain view: Liberty.
Please excuse my error. It was bara ex nihilo who sad it: the chance for Liberty.
Another important issue is that it puts pressure on Carney of Canadia, who is seeking to cozy up with China, who foolishly belives he can out maneuver PDJT.
I think Carney the sleep walker will soon awaken from his mis founded dream.
The Green New Scam has decimated the Euro Economy. Future growth will be driven by AI which requires even more abundant and cheap energy. They will be left further and further behind as they are required to “import” data center capacity.
The reports of President Trump ditching the EU / G7 in favor of a new alliance with Russia/Japan/Korea/India is the strategic thinking that’s part of what makes him great.
Now let’s deport all the illegal invaders and H1B grifters so jobs go to Americans.
A realtor I know in NC is spending Chrstmas/New Years 12/20 to 1/5 in London and Paris. I will report back how she reports.
Do we know if the frequent videos we see are away from main tourist areas? Do the commie leaders make it a point to keep tourist centers clear of detritus? Kind of island of normalcy? Don’t they keep Carribean island that way? Tourist spots/beaches are walled in and tourists protected?
They try, however it is getting much harder to hide.
Numerous towns and cities ( not just London) have city councils and Mayors that are Muslim dominated.
The U.K. ( where I was born and raised) is as my good mates still there state.
Is Fecked!
Cheers!
We were in the UK and Spain over the Summer for a couple weeks and had a beautiful time (wife, three younger kids).
Most of the time we felt safer over there than here in the US.
Don’t believe eveything you read and hear from the paid shill influencers. The people are just as nice, the streets are just as safe, and the food is just as wonderful as ever.
If you don’t believe me, take a trip over there, and see for yourself.
We are going to Japan and South Korea this coming Spring.
It depends on where you go- and the same exact thing can be said for our own country.
Did y’all happen to go to Seville?
My granddaughter is going there for a semester of study abroad at the university there. Of course, I am anxious. Any info or opinion would be welcome.
Thanks.
I was in Seville about 20 months ago. It is a perfectly safe but tourist-filled place. It is easy to get lost in the city.
I visited a very nice food market.
That sounds good.
Thank you.
Well, please forewarn her.
Paris has cancelled their Christmas and New Year celebrations for “security” reasons. The White Flag has been raised once more but this time permanently.
I know also that the detritus in London are moving into the parts which are normally considered free of it.
Advise her to not wear expensive jewelry, leaving valuables (including passport) with the hotels she is staying in. Not in the room, but with managment. They have safes for that purpose.
And at all times, keep her head on a swivel.
Americans often have romantic visions of Europe. It was once as they think of it. Not any longer.
When travelling I wear a jacket. I keep my passport, debit card and big money in an inside pocket to which I’ve sewn a zipper.
Pickpockets are a danger in Europe.
Kate Middleton and Prince William
skee-daddled out of
London in 2022 for a safer area with no intent on returning.
Well when you have many castles to choose from, who can blame them?
Europeanism is a mental disorder.
This isn’t done blindly. They want to destroy the middle class on purpose. Every policy is designed to do so under the guise of virtue.
Yes: In the Name of Love; In the Name of Safety; In the Name of…..
Yup. Some Barons, Dukes, Lords, and lotsa, lotsa serfs. The Yerpean middle class needs to start practicing cap doffing and forelock tugging now as it will soon be mandated when they are in the presence of the ruling class.
Oh, but there’s good news. Their ration of moldy bread will be increased from 800grams to 500 grams. So there’s that to look forward to.
I haven’t seen any in person – just video reviews on Youtube – but a lot of these Chinese vehicles look great, and the build quality and finish are supposedly really good, too. Eager to see them here one day. The US auto industry needs a good shake-up.
Disclaimer – Been driving German cars only for the past 20 years. Audi, Porsche.
i’ve been in and driven them several times. they are quite nice.
the question will be longevity. i don’t think the “chinese junk” epithet is unearned. my dishwasher and fridge looked and operated nice for awhile too… but they died a lot faster than the stuff it replaced.
See your foot..? Now shoot it.. The rot of the Clinton administration still haunts the world today
Clinton administration will haunt the banking industry forever.
Who in Germany can afford a BMW, Mercedes or Audi? Maybe the politicians?
Germany has destroyed the working class in favor of the welfare class. Not good for luxury car sales at home.
There are plenty of Luxury cars being driven in Germany.
Here in our Canadian border town BMW, Range Rovers, Audi’s Mercedes, etc etc are a dime a dozen.
Not to mention, 100,000 plus new Denali SUV’s and trucks..
IMO opinion marketing is ( other than Big Pharma ads) targeting only the upper 10% and the lower 30% of income earners.
This home is “ mid table” and are tightening our belts, and being even more mindful of anticipated future expenses, and fixed costs.
Cheers!
Also many never buy those luxury cars, SUVs and expensive trucks, they lease them. It’s about the monthly payment not owning one.
That’s been good for me, lots of good used cars out there only a few years old, still under warranty and you can actually afford to buy one and drive it for years. I had my last truck 14 years. This one should last me until I die.
👍 We have family in the auto business, they are past bothering/teasing me about the jink I drive.
The daily driver is a 1997 Suzuki JLX Sport Sidekick, the other a 1995 GMC 3/4 4×4.😎
You are correct, the finance office is where the real money is made.
Cheers!
those cars are not nearly as expensive there as they are here.
When a EU car company buys carbon credits fron a Chinese car company are the taxed? 🤔
The EU seems to be going ahead with permanently freezing roughly 210 billion euros in Russian assets so that it can then use it to take out loans to fund Ukraine. This is going to have all kinds of ramifications.
Brussels Moves To Block Russian Assets Without Unanimity, Confirming Orbán’s warningshttps://europeanconservative.com/articles/news/brussels-moves-to-block-russian-assets-without-unanimity-confirming-orbans-warnings/
Pirates.
The patents and copyrights of European companies will be awarded as compensation.
Most of Asia and the Middle East will come to Russia to get cheap knockoffs of otherwise expensive drugs made by Indian and Chinese experts.
These leftwing governments are purposely destroying each of their own countries!
There’s A Lot of videos about Chinese cars. Some quite funny; some not.
Can’t wait until they ask Russia to take all those scrap cars in the future like they do with their nuclear waste despite the “sanctions”.
wherein russia will turn them into tanks and drones.
The Jaguar commercial can be viewed as a microcosm.
Chasing a fantasy, forcing a top down transformation, dismissing criticism as hatred. destroying value, and not only ignoring reality but demeaning your base in the process.
Come to think of it this is also the democrat playbook.
The Jaguar commercial was a demon pageant.
IMO.
They don’t have enough power, yet they recharge their “clean” electric cars at NIGHT. Which means burning gas and coal.
In the biggest scam, companies “pay to pollute,” since there is no other way to operate. That money goes to … competitors.
You simply gotta luv it. 🤡 It makes utterly no sense, but there they go. Saving the planet.
Do they double as refrigerators?
Couldn’t happen to a greater group of elitist scum….
How’s your globalism now?
EU cars are JUNK anyway….
NO MERCY!
‘An outcome of the EU chasing the ridiculous green energy project…’
It only seems ridiculous if you don’t grasp that it is part of the intentional managed decline of EU and US.
Once you grasp that, you see that it is brilliant.
As are other parts of the Program working together with “green energy” to bring the west down as the east rises:
Plandemic + genetic manipulation shots.
Ukraine.
Wokeism.
Dumbing down education.
“Feminism”.
Offshoring industry.
Mass immigration flood.
AI slop and programmed bias (epistemic degradation and control).
A brilliant synergy.
.. in a sinister, evil way.
the global warming lie chickens have come home to roost in the eu. 😏
People here talk about elections and the weak participation of Republican voters. But so many elections are lost because of election fraud. There are no more legitimate elections. Election fraud is baked into every election. Election fraud rules the day.
The thing to remember is that Europeans do not drive the distances that we in the U.S do. At least in Texas. Many Americans live in the suburbs many miles away from the city or industrial complexes and drive long distances to work. Europeans do not and see no difficulty in having EVs because they do not travel far enough to worry about loss of power and over the top electricity usage.
It’s like the EU leadership is owned by the CCP, otherwise, why would they destroy their economies to build up China’s? Anybody with a working brain can easily find out that so-called “green” energy is anything but.
In the “those who do not know history are condemned to repeat it” category, we seem to be watching a replay of “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire,” EU edition.
None of this is by mistake. These are not policy errors.
These are sophisticated actions designed to create the outcome that is occurring.
The EU is deeply infiltrated/controlled/aligned and/or blackmailed by the CCP.
The way the rules always keep helping China isn’t an accident.
Likewise, keeping the eastern front war (Russia) hot is a huge distraction that benefits China by keeping focus and resources out of the Asian Pacific area while depleting Western stockpiles.
It is time for IQ test results to become required disclosures in western politics.
I’m serious.
It is true. Africa is ignorant and we are headed that way too. Folks have to get their kids out of public schools. Keeping them home and doing nothing is better than going to public schools……..and safer.
As if the elite care about their own manufacturing industry. This is all by design as they now get their ‘cut’ from CCP and bypass EU industry altogether. Everything as planned. Why worry about a bunch of different companies when you can consolidate and get your cut from a single country. Much easier to control.
From the article …. “Now reports are beginning to surface of how the non-EV segment of the industry is being lost to less expensive Chinese hybrid autos that: (1) are much cheaper, (2) not bad in quality, and (3) are not subject to the 35% EV tariff rate.”
Focus on point #2 … “not bad in quality”
When the German, French and UK Auto Makers (you know that wonder association of the Ukraine Willing) set up shop inside China Inc. they sent more than money … they also sent design and manufacturing know how. One cannot evaluate the Chinese Economy using the same prism as other national economies. China is a single massive corporation and business who’s primary customers are EXTERNAL to the borders of the China Inc. Factory.
The population of China are the EMPLOYEES … the owners of China Inc., the CCP and PLA do just enough to keep the population focused on making stuff for the corporation … measuring the China Inc. Economy based on anything inside China is a fools errand.
The CCP are businessmen and they know what it takes to succeed as a business.
China Inc. is the MODEL used by the Globalists as they shape their economic system.
I refer you all a scene in the original of the 1975 movie “Roller Ball” with James Caan as Roller Ball Super Star Johnathan E.
Johnathan E was a Global Icon who became disenchanted with the Global Environment and he demanded to know the identity of the Puppet Masters of the global Corporation.
In the scene Johnathan E is so popular that he forces the Global Corporate Masters to allow him to go to Switzerland (WEF, DAVOS and BIS anybody) to visit the “Global Corporate Archives” where the evolution to the Global Economic System is described.
An interesting note: I believe the original 1975 movie hit a very sensitive nerve with it’s accuracy in describing the world as nations organized into Specific Product Focused Nation-Franchises that replaced Nation-States.
The context and environment of the 2002 Remake of this movie had zero in common with Original.
“The Europeans and leftists in the U.S. scoffed at President Trump…Those same Europeans are now watching as their industrial economy collapses segment by segment; taken over by far cheaper Chinese industrial outputs.”
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Overall EU strategy has been to phase out dependence on fossil fuel sources. Over 50% of EU electrical energy is now renewables sourced. This was achieved through many means including suppressing demand for fossil fuel (i.e., legal/policy means) and electricity, shifting suppliers (e.g., LNG to the US) for security of supply, subsidies to consumers, ensuring gas reserves are stocked at near capacity levels, etc. All part of the Green strategy. Part of the strategy has included containing the marginal cost of electricity.
That, at least, is what the literature on the I-Net reports from a cursory look. Whether or not gas/oil supply is serviced by rerouted Russian sources is not addressed, what the environmental and replacement costs are for all the renewable infrastructure is not discussed, what the impact has been on electrical grids and reliability is not discussed, what the sources and impacts/costs are on batteries/rare earth metals disposal or reuse is not discussed.
I wonder how these policies impact military capabilities. Many key components of force structure remain fossil fuel based – especially tactical aircraft. Another angle for looking at EU/NATO dependence on American military for security. A card in our hands to play in all this BS going on presently with FR, UK and GE.
Henry Ford is rolling in his grave.
Can’t cure stupid!
EU Clown World
And in the US carbon credits are what Tesla makes money on not selling EVs. They sell the carbon credits to other companies, just like the Chinese automakers are doing to European automakers. Carbon credits a government invented financial tool that should be eliminated. Won’t happen in Europe anytime soon but the US should eliminate them.
Carbon credits are not mandatory in the US at the Federal level. Many states have however imposed such controls. US aviation companies voluntarily participate in an international scheme for carbon reduction.
Ignorant voters continue to elect incompetent leaders who are unable to successfully manage the nations they were elected to manage.
Which is why there is a war footing with Russia. The EU needs the war to kick start their industries and keep their green dreams alive. We are under threat of recession unless the Military-Industrial Complex keeps churning out arms, so an EU war with Russia will have a sizeable fan-boy base in Congress, the Pentagon and K-Street.
Can’t put my finger on it, but somehow major war does not strike me as a path to cleaner water, pristine air, preserving forests for tree huggers, survival of hugely exposed renewable infrastructure, etc.
Agree with the rest of your post.
Personally, I don’t believe populations in FR, UK, GE, etc., will support major war for any lengthy period of time.
PeeceOSheeit Car
I got a PeeceOSheeit Car
Blanking pileOsheeit, never gets me very far
Let’s really think about CLEAN burning hybrid diesel cars….please. We have the liquid gold here…..but we do not even need that necessarily. Currently this family runs TDI diesel engine cars….many times filled with R99 “diesel”…that is one part diesel and the remaining a renewable resource….the cars run better with this product than the more current B20 blend….20% diesel.
Diesel can be a very clean fuel…..Obama wasn’t to have any of it. Somebody here knows…wasn’t the original diesel engine made to run on peanut oil? God knows there is a lot of that nut…ha!
Couple this very clean burning “diesel” product helped by a nationwide recycling of bio diesel precursors, e.g. soybeans, canola, food oils, etc., or farmers growing the correct products (they already do), and thoughtful lessening of emission rules (no harm, no foul), with electric power……
Let’s do it….
….and the mileage had? Currently 40 mpg….with electric hybrid power combined?….who knows…. A LOT MORE….let’s put it that way…
Yeah, I agree, as a diesel owner.
I recall those little VW Rabbit diesels were good for 300K miles at the least, 400K wasn’t unheard of.
This is how we save a whole lot of money, by buying vehicles that hold up like this.
We need to get rid of Planned Obsolescence and make solid stuff that lasts forever again.
This is what everyone wants !!
We’re never going to get ahead if we’re constantly forced to replace everything we own on a constant rotating basis.
THIS is what is using up way too many resources and polluting the planet..
THIS is filling up landfills, it’s driving up the debt we’re all in and that is holding us all back.. can everyone see this big picture?
This isn’t an accident, it’s the plan !!
“… and thoughtful lessening of emission rules.. ” – 58 Mikie
Unless this becomes reality, the rest of your statement is a fantasy.
And it will take some relaxing of government mandated CAFE and crash test standards as well.
The problem is that with these existing restrictions, gas and diesel technology is already approaching its practical limits.
It has already exceeded practicality regarding costs to the average consumer.
It’s not just the outrageous purchase price, it’s the falling off a cliff depreciation and upkeep.
A modern farm tractor. Do you know it can cost > $10,000 just for new fuel injectors? (Not a misprint)
Your Volkswagen may not be that expensive (yet), but factor in the expense of a turbo replacement, a head gasket as it ages, and things add up.
On the other hand, battery tech is just getting started. (comparatively speaking) . There’s lots of room for improvement. I’m not saying this is a sure fire answer, because it can’t be for a few years. But the status quo is not working.
When Trump had his agriculture round table meeting a few days ago, he mentioned getting rid of some of the regulatory burden on farm equipment and other commercial machinery. If sounds like he is going to have the EPA do away with the DEF requirement.
Apparently the constant and expensive upkeep on the newer machinery used in his businesses has been a thorn in his side.
At the same time, he warned the manufacturers that he expects them to lower costs to the end users as the government lowers regulations. (Listen up, John Deere.)
Once again, it is crystal clear that Marxist policies are never, ever about the issues proclaimed, whether it be children, the climate, elderly, etc.
The Issue is ALWAYS about power and control.
Any stupid pursuit that hamstrings individualism and free thinking is embraced by the State while allowing the gullible to feel virtuous.
Consequences be damned.
This is no mistake. People learn from mistakes. This is 100% intentional. The entire western world is destroying itself while enriching Asia. President Trump stands in the way. And that’s why they hate him. They cant afford for us to notice the difference….
