Senate Republicans are not going to sit on their hands and watch President Trump and Secretary Pete Hegseth think they control the United States military.
Recent troop movements away from Senate approved military bases in Romania, combined with the Trump administration not pushing advanced weapons into the battlefield of Ukraine, have Senate Republicans planning to take immediate action to control military operations.
Somewhere in the evolution of Presidential authority, the Senate now affirms they alone have the authority to control the organization, priorities, spending intentions and troop deployments from their chambers in Washington DC.
War must be had according to the upper branch of the legislature. The Senate is not going to accept any effort to work around their foreign policy objectives, regardless of these insufferable ‘peace’ initiatives of the White House.
WASHINGTON DC – […] Armed Services Chair Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) said he’s seen an “unsettling trend” of Pentagon moves that he argues undermine Trump’s stated commitments to NATO and other international efforts — and he singled out Colby’s office in particular. It’s a distinction the Mississippi Republican often makes when criticizing administration policies — President Donald Trump has the right idea, but officials lower down in the administration or Pentagon are going about it the wrong way.
For example, he cited a decision last week to remove a rotational Army brigade from Romania, which Wicker criticized at the time.
“Members and staff of this committee have struggled to receive information from the policy office,” Wicker said. “This does not match our experience with the first Trump administration.”
“The situation needs to improve if we are to craft the best defense policy,” he said.
[…] Senators also cited other controversies tied to the Pentagon’s policy office that blindsided Congress as well as other parts of the administration — including confusion over a reported pause on some assistance to Ukraine, a review of the AUKUS submarine partnership with Australia and the United Kingdom and a new reshuffling of portfolios in the policy shop.
“I understand media reports can be wrong,” said Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) “But it just seems like there’s this pigpen-like mess coming out of the policy shop that you don’t see” from other offices, he said. (read more)
For those who are critical of President Trump endorsing Senators like Lindsey Graham, please put these kinds of reference points into your contemplations of the dynamics. The Republicans in the Senate are critically unaligned in their support of Trump’s noninterventionist foreign policy.

The only way we win this is if Trump pulls an Egyptian coupe and has the military arrest every politician in this country.
The Republicans aren’t our friends in this.
Been waiting on that very thing.
He’s always said that “we” caught them all.
Round them up DJ!
Take No Prisoners Sir
BLAH BLAH BLAH. All we ever get is BS talking points. Anybody arrested yet? They just stole the vote in NJ by calling in bomb threats in Republican Counties and yet F’ing Nothing. PDJT doesn’t back Sears in Virginia, and we lose that race. People stealing billions thru SNAP and yet no arrests. Nothing Zilch NADA. I am so tired of paying taxes to Illegals getting benefits that Americans are getting. Just think about where we are right now: NYC was the financial capital of the world, after today not anymore. And the best is that we have Black Robes, telling the President of the USA what he can and cannot do. Pull the pin on the grenade Trump, before it is all lost.
I understand your disgust and disappointment. I feel the same way, too, but don’t give up the fight.
I don’t think he is giving up the fight, he is suggesting that PDJT fight harder and I agree.
What are all of you doing besides crying and whining and blamecasting?
President Trump is virtually ALONE in this endeavor. I’m ashamed of the fair weather “friends” who are so quick to abandon him at this hour. Just like the coattail riders during the campaigns. SMDH.
Sears was against Trump. She cut her own throat by saying she did not support Trump. During her campaign she made it a point to distance herself from Trump. Virginia is a state heavily populated by, and dependent on, the critters of the DC swamp, i.e. the blue belt bandits. Where was the VA GOP during this campaign? Richmond is a woke democrat run city also. The large population centers in VA are run by democrats, just like CA, OR, WA.
Virginia is a racist state which grew rich on breeding blacks for slave sales.
The Buck vs Bell case made it legal for rapists in VA to have girl victims sterilized against their wills on false charges of promiscuity and dull-normal intelligence.
This is why Patsy Cline’s mother didn’t prosecute her husband for raping Patsy, but took her away immediately. Virginia authorities would have sterilized Patsy to protect her incestuous rapist father.
We need men like Phil Sheridan and US Grant to burn the movers and shakers of that miserable state to the ground again, especially the Richmond area, the Norfolk area, and Northern VA.
May red county Virginia officials take West Virginia up on their offer to take in all VA counties who want sane government. Let West Virginia become Greater West Virginia in the same way Idaho should expand deep into Oregon, by the will of the people. Let “Virginia” wither and die unmourned and unloved by a nation who views the scum who run the state as traitors to the Union, organized criminals, and sex offenders who wish to neuter boys and molest girls.
To paraphrase Little Phil Sheridan before he let his soldiers loose on Loudon County VA, where in a four-day period they burned every barn and grain mill, destroyed all grain and hay, and confiscated or slaughtered all the livestock and horses because the people in that county shielded Mosby’s Raiders —- “I will show those (censored) people there is a God in Israel!”
You got a whole lot’ta ugly hate going on………karma is a very real thing for haters. Praying that you may be spared.
STFU
Monticello, before you lecture me, be aware Tom Jefferson and/or his brother did use an underage pretty black serving girl Sally Hemings for sex at Monticello. DNA testing of her and their descendants proved it.
Good men and women naturally recoil from having to deal blows to the enemy because of these men’s and women’s basic goodness.
But it has to be done.
To quote the tribune in Ben-Hur, who addressed Judah Ben-Hur as a wrongfully sentenced galley slave:
“Your eyes are full of hate, 41. That’s good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength.”
In WWI and WWII we had to set up human-looking targets for rifle practice and bayonet drills to get our men ready for what they would have to do to the Krauts and the Japs.
I served in the Vietnam Era, and had to do likewise.
Joan of Arc prayed for her enemies. But she told the Brits her mission was to kill them if they continued to oppress her countrymen and countrywomen and refused to leave France.
DC was so full of swampers back in the day that Webster, Clay, Fillmore and other leading Whigs danced on the grave of Zachary Taylor, a good man who used strength to stop secessionists and looked for a solution to end slavery despite being one of the largest slaveholders in America. Democrats and speculators were dancing on Old Zack’s grave too. They hated Old Rough and Ready, the hero of Indian wars, the War of 1812, and the Mexican War (Taylor even paid Mexican priests and nuns money for supplies to care for Mexican wounded as a humanitarian gesture …. out of his own money) because he served the people of America, not the elites. Taylor was looking at a proposal by his supporters Seward and Honest Abe Lincoln to buy the slaves their freedom with federal money and resettle them in the West, North, and South when he died or was poisoned. Abe served under Taylor in the Black Hawk War … and so did his unwanted son-in-law Jeff Davis.
Andrew Johnson had to have the Lincoln conspirators tried by a military tribunal because DC was so loaded with hateful Copperheads that a jury of white men in DC would have acquitted them all. (Even Rebel worthies like General Joe Johnston and spy Belle Boyd mourned Lincoln’s murder but not them.) And there was the practical problem of dropping Mary Surratt far enough to kill her but not far enough to decapitate her, which has always been an issue in hanging since women’s necks are typically not as strong as men’s necks.
My point is to take out the hateful, good people need a lot of righteous anger to overcome their good natures that lead them to mercy instead of justice.
Even Geoffroy Therage, the executioner who took Joan of Arc’s life at the stake, confessed his great crime later that day to one of the three loyal French priests who stayed with Joan to the end. He had wanted to behead Joan with the sword to minimize her suffering, and he wanted to put a chain around her neck to choke her to death before the fire got too hot …. but the English would not allow it.
Like the Copperheads and leftists who celebrate the murder of good people, the English and their lackey Bishop Cauchon the collaborationist Frenchman, were so infused with demonic hatred of Joan that as soon as her head nodded down and she stopped shouting Jesus’ name, they ordered Therage to knock down the fire so they could see her dead body. The fire had burned off Joan’s clothes but had only scorched her thigh boots. They saw Joan was naked, female, and dead. When their perverse curiosity was satisfied, they told Therage to rake the fire back into place and burn her body completely. Therage said Joan’s heart and some of her intestines did not burn, so he had to put them in a bag and throw them into the River Seine.
My point here? Even some executioners have scruples and consciences. But not the enemies of America and you and your loved ones who wish to live in peace. It takes an awful lot to make a sentient human being of goodness to do what might be needed to be done.
I pray that you and others like you awake to your duty… and that we all do what we can to save this nation and our homes and loved ones. Look at your children and grandchildren and ask yourself if they deserve to live in fear, hunted like prey by government people, leftist vermin, and criminals of all colors, creeds, and places of national origin.
God bless all of us Treepers, President Trump and Lady Melania, and all the good men and women who work for them and us to save this nation.
Buck v. Bell, sterilization of imbeciles, trans genital mutilation. Do you see the connection? It is eugenics.
You missed Planned Parenthood, whose people refuse to report the molestation of underage girls because they profit from these girls’ repeated victimizations.
But you are on the right track.
BTW, there are investigators building cases vs PP for these crimes. Please pray for their success.
yeah, let’s support and turn loose war criminals.
Sherman made Rebs quit by devastating their homes and forcing them to choose between their loved ones and a Lost Cause built upon the blood and sweat and tears of slaves whose partisans were so intent on their greed that they started a war that cost about 10 percent of the white male population of the Confederacy their lives, and crippled or blinded hundreds of thousands of other valiant Southerners. Not to mention the devastation, sometimes casual, sometimes deliberate, sometimes collateral, that a war brings to a people whose home area is invaded.
Sherman shortened the war without killing so many. Even Lee and Joe Johnston admitted the attacks on Sherman were overblown.
The ultimate war criminals were the slaveholders who gulled their states into rebellion.
And officers like Nathan Bedford Forrest, who murdered captive black Union soldiers.
And Jeff Davis and the miserable Confederate Congress, who forced their people into rebellion, war, and devastation.
Forrest and Davis escaped the hangman. Union officers even let Varina Davis and their daughter be with Davis during his imprisonment before he was allowed to go free.
The Beltway Bandits and the elites of VA richly deserve the punishment that Sherman and Sheridan dished out in the Civil War.
There are no clean hands, ever.
The original Republic was created by all individual states voting to form and then join it.
A rebellion is an attempt to regime change a government.
Voting to secede from a government is democracy.
I am not whitewashing Southern society, but to pretend Yankee society was morally superior is inaccurate.
After reuniting all the states by genocidal force we no longer had a Republic and the worst aspects of the 2 regions were combined for the basis of the new norm.
You are entitled to your opinion.
The two presidents most forcefully against secessionists before Lincoln were Andrew Jackson and Zachary Taylor. Both men risked their lives repeatedly in defense of America. Both men were Southerners and slaveholders.
William Henry Harrison died before he could show his hand as a president. But he too was a war hero, a Southerner, and a slaveholder who opposed secessionists.
What of the other men?
John Calhoun was a bitter obstructionist who worshiped slavery.
Martin Van Buren as president was a weenie. He appeased slaveholders. Then he entered the 1848 election as an antislavery candidate, whose actual purpose was to try to keep Taylor from beating Democrat Lewis Cass — another doughface (Northern Democrat who supported slavery).
Millard Fillmore was Taylor’s VP. A Whig from the Buffalo area, Fillmore was to Taylor like Bush 41 was to Reagan and Pence was to Trump — a ticket balancing scumbag placed on the ticket to hinder the president. As soon as Taylor died of natural causes or poisoning, Fillmore signed the Fugitive Slave Act and the Compromise of 1850, which made the Civil War inevitable. Taylor was prepared to veto all of those bad measures and make California and New Mexico states to outvote the secessionists in the Senate. Taylor also threatened a number of Southern congressmen with hanging to their faces if they tried secession.
If we had broken up the Union, we would have separately been targets of British and French aggression.
Before you pontificate, understand the situation on the ground.
You are entitled to your opinion.
The two presidents most forcefully against secessionists before Lincoln were Andrew Jackson and Zachary Taylor. Both men risked their lives repeatedly in defense of America. Both men were Southerners and slaveholders. Jackson was from the Waxhaws along the NC/SC border and made his fortune in TN. Taylor grew up in KY and was a border captain who helped push the frontier westward. He lived in IN, IL, MO, and MINN. His military duties had him and his family living in MS and LA at the time of his election. I have stood in the Hermitage, and have visited the blockhouse Taylor grew up in.
William Henry Harrison died before he could show his hand as a president. But he too was a war hero, a Southerner, and a slaveholder who opposed secessionists. He was from VA, but his duties led him to be military governor and war leader in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. We have stood in his mansion/fortress in Vincennes, IN, from where he ran the Northwest Territory before they became state.
What of the other men?
John Calhoun, SC, was a bitter obstructionist who worshiped slavery.
Martin Van Buren, NY, as president from 1837-1841, was a weenie. He appeased slaveholders. Then he entered the 1848 election as an antislavery candidate, whose actual purpose was to try to keep Taylor from beating Democrat Lewis Cass — another doughface (Northern Democrat who supported slavery to suck up for votes).
Harrison died a month after his inauguration in 1841. VP John Tyler, a ticket-balancing Virginian, was pro slave lobby during his miserable presidency. He would secede with VA in 1861.
James Polk (TN) was president from 1845 thru 1849. He was proslavery but more than anything else was pro-Democrat. He was right to flood the Pacific Northwest with settlers to thward the Brits. He also waged a successful Mexican War. He hated Winfield Scott and Zachary Taylor, his two best generals, because they were Whigs. When Taylor succeeded him, Polk was so mad he went back to TN with the fedearal job ledger to thwart Taylor in making civil service appointments. Polk died suddenly, and his widow wisely avoided politics. Lincoln saw to it she got a pension despite living in Rebel territory.
Taylor was president from March 5, 1849 thru July 9, 1850, when he died. Neither he nor his wife Peggy wanted the presidency, but he felt it was his duty to serve.
Millard Fillmore was Taylor’s VP. A Whig from the Buffalo area of NY, Fillmore was to Taylor like Bush 41 was to Reagan and Pence was to Trump — a ticket balancing scumbag placed to hinder the president.
Taylor also acted against the Mormons. He cut down their territory to not much more than the present-day boundaries. At the time, Bring-em in Young was trying to take the entire Great Basin, and California from the crests of the Sierras down thru San Bernardino and Orange Counties. He also wanted western CO, SW WY, southern ID, SE OR, all of NV, and NW NM. The Mormons celebrated when Taylor died, and the evil polygamist and murderer Young said he was glad Taylor would be in Hell. (During his rule, Mormons beheaded Mormon women who befriended American soldiers. And he ordered the Mountain Meadows Massacre in 1857.)
If we had broken up the Union, we would have separately been targets of British and French aggression.
Of all the Euro powers, only Tsar Alexander II of Russia favored the Union. He would eventually sell us Alaska for a song.
Lincoln and his team tried their best to save the Union, and planned reconciliation, before a Copperhead Democrat actor took his life on Good Friday 1865.
Before you pontificate, Tundra, understand the situation on the ground. Feudalism looks terrible from 2025, but it was a system thought up by serious men to protect the peoples of Europe. Feudalism was preferable to life under Moslem or Mongol rule or constant Viking raides. Given more than a decade of Southern slaveholder aggression, the Civil War was bound to happen. Lincoln and his team had to defeat it.
Take care, and thanks for at least caring and trying to make sense of it all.
Yes, indeedy!
Virginia politics has always been ground zero for the illusion of choice.
The Repub Party of VA is right beside the Dem Party apparatus in everything they do. Dems amass power, by buying votes from Repubs, who amass fortunes from the selling. It has been crooked since the Mills Godwin machine perfected the tactics.
Maybe just a slight silver lining to the black clouds …. Congressman Brandon Gill (R-Tx) filed Articles of Impeachment today against the Black Robe Tyrant, James Boasberg. (See: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-resolution/229/text)
However, something tells me it’s all Kabuki Theater, so I’m not holding my breath.
The Judge should be indicted and arrested, jailed, and put on trial as he clearly violated the law. An impeachment means nothing, they will never convict him in the Senate…then he will go back to the Court and be worse than ever! The DOJ needs to act immediately. Jack Smith et. al. need to be indicted, arrested, and await trial from a jail cell. Indict all players in the Grand Conspiracy, arrest them and put them in jail until a trial can be held in a Military Court. You either enforce the law or you don’t. Law Enforcement should not take a backseat to the Legislative Branch Impeachment process takes place. The Senate would do nothing but impeachment trials for the next 5 years. They are not afraid of impeachment, but they are afraid of a jail cell awaiting trial.
You’re probably right. Cruz is making the most noise (TX). I see this guy is also. Probably promised some kind of favors.
My congressman reached out wanting to know how I felt about the shutdown & did I know anyone who was affected. I didn’t know anyone affected. I gave them an earful about the impeachment of Boasberg though.
Totally kabuki.
Civil disobedience is what the anti/Trumpers are working and hoping for. We can not acquiesce.
If Trump is unable to right our fiscal ship before the fiscal iceberg is hit, it will not matter who is receiving our tax dollars. This shutdown is a message to those who depend on all the forms of welfare provided that it can no longer be counted on. Some will get the message, most won’t. I am thankful that the GOP is take a hard stand on limiting these monies to citizens.
The knowledge has been buiding. More and more of We the People know the truth and have the wisdom to restore the republic. It is getting harder for the RINOs to hide ad pretend they are for our Nation. Progress is being made.
Is it fast enough? Probably not, but it is progress. We have made good progress.
Do not grow discouraged. Every citizen needs to be working every contact they have. Studying to know the truth and studying more and practicing to be able to articulate it — Charlie Kirk style.
..we came to the point…..only ML is solution …saadly…..
12 f n yrs ago
ML will not work, it will be demorat controlled. Game over.
Wasn’t that the point of creating a woke military?
I believe that rot is being removed by Sec. Hegseth and is being replaced by real men and women since recruitment numbers have surpassed expectations under CiC Trump and Sec. Hegseth.
Correct. We have crossed the Rubicon. But for like the 50th time. And this time we have the most clout ever. Just f’ng do it.
A fight is coming. Might as well be the lead in the fight! Stop worrying about public opinion. It does NOT TRUMP FACTS AND WHATS RIGHT!!
Your dream would be a nightmare..
We would then be a third world country, a bottom rung third world country.
The American experiment would be extinct. Like the dinosaurs.
BTW, what about that military oath about defending the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic?
Do you think everybody had their fingers crossed like in grade school?
He is not stating that he WANTS the fight, he is just saying it is coming and to be ready.
Congress is not our friends. They are con artists and swindlers. They have the power, influence and money and have the game rigged in every way possible; we can’t win.
We can win, but not by observing their rules or remaining completely civilized about all of it.
They are at war with us all. It is past time to be prepared for worse.
I wouldn’t bet much money on that R F.
It’s not money that concerns me.
There can be no future for us without those willing to suffer and endure for it. The price for our liberties is eternal vigilance.
So essentially, there is no future for us. Not really breaking news is it?
When forty two million people are living off the backs of the working class, to the degree our leadership are willing to steal it for them, do you honestly feel as though your vote counts? When non citizens are the preferred over natural born citizens…..The Great American experiment has already failed.
The battle is not yet complete.
Mass civil disobedience is step 1 in what the Declaration commands us to do
THEY can do very little without US.
Very important point.
That is why you make holding office like jury duty on a capital murder case. With more compliance than you can shake a stick at.
It should be a duty, not a career.
Republicans aren’t our friends.
Given the foreign assisted 2020 Presidential election theft, I find it probable that PREDICATED FISA warrants were activated and have been in effect since at least January 20, 2021 when Joe Biden stepped up and sealed the deal. The waiting is the hardest part.
So, what exactly does that scenario look like?
“Has the military arrest every politician in this country.”
I want a brief synopsis on how that plan is acceptable, workable, and prosecutable.
Otherwise that suggestion is exactly describing a modern gestapo.
Btw, Is the coupe a two door?
Get your own house of congress in order Senator!
Cotton is a POS. His state harvests organs from the elderly then murders them
Balderdash…….that’s pure BS.
Arkansas has many areas that deserve to be put to the torch also. They have an incredibly high rate of sex crimes and inbreeding. And people escaping charges. Like Ada Hutchinson’s son, and everyone in and around the Clintons. And the progeny of Jim Bob Duggar.
Why do you think the establishment Republicans of every state with a team in the SEC or the ACC who are south of the Potomac except for Florida and Louisiana are OK with their states being in the top dozen states when it comes to committing sex crimes against family members? They are degenerates also.
No GOPer in GA ever went after the hog mother of Honey Boo Boo for letting her boyfriends rape her daughter, the girl who just died.
South Carolina has Stikki Nikky Haley, who re[ortedly had trysts with multiple skeeves while her hubby was deployed overseas. And Nancy Mace, who is all too familiar with guys not her hubby. When she drops paramours, she reportedly accuses them of sexual assault. She is getting sued for making such claims.
Utah belongs in that group also, but their teams play in the Big 12. The LDS and state shrink programs funded and protected the Utah family that produced the missexed loser who murdered Charlie Kirk …. his family lives less than 40 miles south of where the Mountain Meadows Massacre took place.
Sherman was a thug.
A victorious thug, God bless his memory!
One of my ancestors, a soldier in the Army of the Tennessee, a unit Sherman called his “whiplash,” helped him bring his brand of urban renewal and railroad deconstruction to Atlanta, Columbia, SC the route of march thru GA and SC.
Sherman is nothing to be proud of.
I cant stop thinking how similar today is to what the Carpetbaggers and Reconstructionists did to the South. They set-up blacks who were not even literate in high level jobs then worked as the puppet masters (DEI is the current program)
The illiterate blacks didn’t get hundreds of thousands of white Southerners in Confederate states killed.
The secessionists did.
Even run by crooked carpetbaggers, the Southern states after the Civil War did not suffer the way they did during the war they brought upon themselves.
Too many Southern apologists want to whine away the guilt of those Reb instigators who made Sherman and Sheridan and Reconstruction necessary.
Even “responsible” Rebs like Jeff Davis and Robert E. Lee refused to report to President Zachary Taylor the Mississippi state government and government officials in Louisiana in 1850 were outfitting with state arsenal weapons and munitions a filibusterer invasion of Cuba to make it a slave state. This could have brought war with Spain, but Senator Davis and Col. Lee were derelict in their duties, like officers today who allow threats to our neutrality and sovereignty go unreported …. especially if there might be money in it for them because Narciso Lopez recruited them. Davis turned it down not because it was wrong but because his wife Varina didn’t want to live on a coffee plantation in Cuba. Lee turned it down because he didn’t think Lopez’ plan was good, not because it might involve the US in a war.
Taylor was not Lincoln. He was a slaveholder himself. He turned against slavery because he saw it was a threat to the unity of America.
Reconstruction didn’t go far enough. Whites in the South continued to oppress blacks thru the 1970s. I led a funeral detail of 101st Division soldiers to honor a black sergeant who survived Purple Heart events in WWII and Korea. The white inbreds of his town (Parsons, TN) tried to interfere with his burial because he broke the color line at the town cemetery. State police had to keep them out of the graveyard. The United Methodist preacher and his people lied to us about where the AME (black) church was in town, even though it was only 4 blocks away. That was the Sunday before Christmas 1978. The soldier we honored was SGT R.T. Scott, God rest his soul.
Oh yeah. The white Methodists heard my Polka Belt ethnic Catholic voice, asked me if I was Catholic, and when I said YEAH they wanted nothing to do with me. Even as an Army officer coming to pay honors to a war hero.
The shoe is on the other foot today, largely due to the bigotry of Southerners as a whole and the bigotry of the elites who pitted the various minorities against each other for job in the North and the Midwest to benefit financially from the divisions.
There was no attempt to integrate blacks into American society until the 1960s. For all their faults, the leaders of Latin American nations have done a better job of integrating Natives (Indians) and blacks into Hispanic and Brazilian societies that we have done.
My two cents.
???
The Boggy Creek Monster is native to Fouke, Arkansas.
You owe ALL the proof,,,,,or Go Away Quietly
Apparently, the science was ” trusted “in this particular case.
They’ve assumed authorities that were not Constitutionally delegated to them.
If they’re unhappy with troop movements & deployments then make them declare war.
If they’re unhappy with weapons transfers then make them legislate exactly what will be given/sold to whom.
Early on this millennium we allowed the Bushies (globalists) to go on a treasure hunt for WMD’s to keep that bubbling crude flowing. At the price of, of course, our bravest young men.
I will be encouraging my Senators and Representative to let this awesome man do what he was elected to do.
Let me repeat what a Treeper this morning said: Don’t let these 3 Dim victories discourage you from working your arse off in the next year.
Here in God’s country we know where the koo-koos reside. East and West. And ILLinois.
We’re not ILLinois anymore.
We’re “Deadinois!”
Our corpses are rotting in the cities, and in the cornfields.
We survived the war pigs, Obumbler & Xiden to reelect the best President of my lifetime… we persist.
I fully expected these communist victories. I also expected the war pigs to reassert themselves.
We pray. We stand together still. We persist.
In the words of our dear President Trump, Fight, Fight, Fight!
Amen
Amen and Amen!!
Eldridge Andrew Colby – Don’t let them push you around. You answer to Trump and what we voted for, not to the Senate.
Repubs are rinoRats, and rinoRats are Quislings… serving their Rat Cousins the democRats, who are Bolsheviks.
Obviously there is no need for the office of President of The United States of America because the Senate, Federal Judges and Governors and Mayors of “sanctuary jurisdictions” know what’s best.
Full speed ahead and be damned to the voters of America.
While the Senate has unique constitutional powers—such as providing “advice and consent” on treaties and presidential nominations, including top military and executive branch officials—it does not control troop deployments or military operations unilaterally. Period.
Drown and nuke the lot
Personally, I want to hear the “William Tell Overture” blaring across Europe as nations throw off the EU and the NATO overreach.
I say the “William Tell Overture” because that was part of the opera about the Swiss people throwing off the Austrian control of their country. It was coming to a vise grip. The Swiss men in the story realized that the castle that they had been hired to help build included a terrible dungeon from which escape was calculated to be impossible. They were being used to help build the dungeon that would imprison them.
The Romanian people threw off the control of the Ceasescu regime during Christmas in 1989 . . . they didn’t have cell phones, e-mail, Internet, weapons . . .
can they now throw out NATO and the EU?
“The Romanian people threw off the control of the Ceasescu regime during Christmas in 1989”
And it happened really quickly. Like, overnight. Little did they know the day before, that they were hours from freedom.
But now is vastly different, precisely because we have “…cell phones, e-mail, internet….”.
As someone above stated, ever since 47 was elected (and probably long before that), he and everyone on the right has been surveilled by the left, through “…cell phones, e-mail, internet…”.
Weapons we may have but will that be enough?
Republican’ts find a way.
i take issue with the term “Senate Republicans”
as apparently no such creature exists in the wilds of D.C.
is there no constitutional recourse for usurping powers duly delegated to the President?
can any attempt by the Senate to do so be litigated?
would this finally qualify as insurrection?
grasping at straws here because it just seems even when we win, we lose.
I wish Republican legislatures would fight this hard for U.S. workers and job seekers. Imagine if they fought this hard to stop offshoring to foreign nations, outsourcing of U.S. work to foreign firms, and to end the present in-sourcing of foreign replacement labor (both legal and illegal) into the U.S. domestic labor market. Imagine if they actually made America great again, instead of crying because they might not be able to profit off the trillions spent waging war across the globe.
Oh so the Senator’s globalist military industrial complex donors aren’t happy and their puppets mouths are moving
You nailed it right on the head, ORG! They all bow down to the K Street lobbyists. If the health and prosperity of we the people were there objective, such would not exist.
Their so-called governance is akin to pigs at the trough.
Sorry, I gave pigs a bad name there.
There’s this:
The Gospel According to Luke:(KJV)
8:30
And Jesus asked him, saying,
What is thy name?
And he said, Legion:
because many devils
were entered into him.
31And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. (abyss Romans 10:7)
32And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them.
And he suffered them.
33Then went the devils out of the man,
and entered
into the swine:
and the herd ran
violently down a
steep place into the lake,
and were choked.
(drowned)
The devil is always in the details and delusions abound.
The day is coming when Christ will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Let there be no misunderstanding: there shall weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Consider the possibility – real elections (paper ballots hand counted where cast) in 2026, which send legislators to Congress who actually are accountable to US workers and job seekers.
It’ll be 2035 before the lawfare gets settled and we’re told paper is racist, the lead in the pencils is toxic to alien voters, and the mail in ballots are too heavy for the Somali mail carriers.
LOL!
I’m sure the left is prepared for that. Holder and Elias are already planning on delaying those changes until after the mid-terms with lawfare.
Since Senator Wicker won’t sit on his hands, Trump should make him stand on the thick Oval Office carpet where President Trump can explain the US Constitution to him,.. thoroughly!
Trump is Admiral Farragut and RINO Senators are the torpedoes. “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” says the Commander-in-Chief!
Most insufferable bunch in the republic.
theres a lady i follow who has inside information ive yet to see her wrong in past few yrs, she keeps saying they will try to overthrow Trump after mid terms . guess we will see
Well that’s very disappointing to hear.
I see it as very predictable.
very predictable
All is not *Goldie* that glitters. Sowing seeds of doom are you? So Hateful! Sheesh!
Guess we’re just doomed then, eh?
/s
I’d argue it’s called leverage. Trump knows the Senate Republicans weaknesses (i.e., the lust for military industrial complex dollars). Never doubt that Trump doesn’t understand where and when to use leverage.
The Attack of the Uniparty!
Trump is trying to back away from the road to nuclear war with Russia that Biden (actually Obama) put us on when he forbade Zelensky to accept the peace deal he was ready to sign with Russia at the beginning of the war. Boris Johnson was sent to Ukraine to forbid it, then Kamala.
Obama was determined to have his proxy shooting war with Russia, arranging for the world’s two greatest Christian nations to fight an escalating proxy war over 100% Christian Ukraine. Gee, why would Barack Hussein want to do that?
How so many Republicans were able to sign on to this evil is an enigma. Sure, a few might be stuck on a cold-war mindset with a Russia that is no longer our enemy, but half of them?
And even cold warriors knew not to attack Moscow, or try to take Russia’s warm water port in Crimea, which they took from the Ottomans 250 years ago.
If by Republicans you are referring to those in Con-gress, remember the majority are faux Christians who say what they think we want to hear while doing the opposite.
DC is a pit of vipers, and Satan’s playground.
War with Russia is what NATO has been all about since WWII ended. Russia has the most natural resources of any country on the planet. UK, France, Germany, have zilch to offer anyone. Invaded, broke, invested everything in “green energy’ and it wrecked the countries. .
Why do you give that sock puppet such credit? He couldn’t get through a gate with an umbrella and you think he somehow masterminded the downfall of the U.S.
He was simply a tool, and still is.
A tool, in both senses of the word.
Just think how furious America’s Founding Fathers would be as they abhorred the very thought of a standing army, let alone one controlled by a single man. But who listens to them anymore? Seems like hardly anyone. And think about this – some day a democrat will be President. And it won’t be a Harry Truman, nor a JFK.
There are instruments so dangerous to the rights of the nation, and which place them so totally at the mercy of their governors, that those governors, whether legislative or executive, should be restrained from keeping such instruments on foot, but in well-defined cases. Such an instrument is a standing army.
– Thomas Jefferson
A standing army is one of the greatest mischief that can possibly happen. Without standing armies liberty can never be in danger, nor with large ones safe. A standing military force, with an overgrown executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defense against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people.
– James Madison (“The Father of the United States Constitution”)
When a government wishes to deprive its citizens of freedom, and reduce them to slavery, it generally makes use of a standing army.
– Luther Martin, Maryland delegate to the Constitutional Convention
Pol Pot comes to mind as the next democrat president.
SMH
Some day it will be a Ugandan.
Yep, I refer to him as mamganda
I would really, really love to know how the “defense” of the United States is served by having the US Army in Romania.
Simple, if you translate their words.
Stationing troops in Romania is defending their “democracy” in the United States and elsewhere. Ie the rules based (globalist) order.
Hold on to your hat!!!
As of 2024, the United States has active-duty military troops stationed in approximately 178 countries worldwide, according to data from the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
And on that note I would like to point out, similar to the demise of the Roman Empire, with our military stretched thin around the world, coupled with a crumbing dollar and an all but non-existent industrial force after outsourcing the same to everywhere and anywhere but here, further compounded by the erosion of Christian values and the rise of sexual deviation and debauchery as well as civil disobedience and violence- our once grand and powerful Constitutional Republic is hanging on by a thread, and it too, is badly frayed.
The Marxist anti-American traitors are all around us, and have been for the last 50+ years while growing stronger and getting bolder on an almost daily basis now. So, as I sit here poised as another “keyboard warrior” typing with a frenzy I see only trouble ahead and a vast, no, a huge number of Americans who remain completely oblivious to the on-going destruction of their homeland while they drown in their apathy, holding a big bag of Doritos & sucking down diet Pepsi (most likely purchased with SNAP benefits).
In short, we are at the Rubicon, and it must be crossed now – or forever hold our peace. That’s all I have to say.
“craft the best defense policy”??? Best for whom? You won’t defend the people who have to pay your salary. You all think the Military just wants to sit on their hands in Germany, Turkey, UK, Romania, waiting for Senators in their 80’s and 90’s to decide when to invade Russia? Roger Wicker is beyond the pale. He does nothing at home but has all the time in in the world to mess around somewhere else in the world ‘crafting the best defence policy’. The Senate only works sporadicly at best but they gotta have a hand in everything while finishing nothing.
Wicker is okay with all the law enforcement criminals in his state racketeering the invasion of illegals up the Mississippi Valley.
Wicker probably supported the murder of Medgar Evers. He is the poster pants-filler for term limits.
with a little help from our Russian friends…
Warmongers.
We need a list of all the NGOs and businesses employing spouses, children, and relatives of senators.
Could I get a little more butter on the popcorn, please….?
Those popcorn bits are turning into chunks so large you could not eat them if you tried. Why would anyone want to sit around eating popcorn when the future of our country and our liberty is at stake. Put away the popcorn. It’s not funny anymore.
stop with can I get little” more butter”….you are already faaat !!!
Time to go all in
What can we do? We know emails and phone calls are useless. Start erecting gallows in DC?
As long as you have a defeatist attitude, you WILL be defeated…
Accepting reality as it presents itself isn’t defeatist on any level of critical thinking. Attitude doesn’t conquer adversity, fortitude does.
Find and read ‘Unintended Consequences’ by John Ross. It starts as a history lesson and extrapolates to a potiential/possible/probable course of action. It can be read as simply an adventure story or as a treatise on circumstances.
War Pigs for Profit.
That’s the United States Senate.
I wish that was all they are. Liars, cheats, and crooks is more like it. Marble building with somone to push the buttons on the elevator for them.
Name them, shame them, and then bring them to heel.
These senators are about the money the military industrial complex gives them and their campaigns. It also supplies good paying jobs to a few of their constituents. They NEED war and killing to stay in office and get wealthier. All of the patriotism, democracy and defending freedom are nothing but talking points. As always, it is about the money, the money, the money!! The government is run by racketeers and pimps.
Cheney is dead. Are they jockeying for his position?
I am so disgusted with the Republican Senate. I am so tired of their complete self indulgent arrogance to think they have control of everything.
Please Mr. President, start a new party.
I once thought that even though the Dems and Republicans agreed on very little, they had the good of the country in mind.. Not so much anymore. These days it is hard to believe they have this country as a top priority.
Why would they have this country as a top priority? That’s not who puts in the votes for them. Get transparent elections for 2026 (no mail-in ballots, paper ballots hand counted where cast) and then they will realize they have a new boss – we-the-people!
I’ve been saying that for years CTHfan but most people here think we should keep working with the Repuke party and change it. Good luck with that.
Has anyone else noticed that it’s near impossible to even communicate with your “representative,” be it either State or Federal? They NEVER, EVER respond to an email or letter. If your “lucky” you may see a “form letter” stating “blah, blah, blah, thank you for contacting my office, blah, blah.” Seriously, it’s all kabuki theater.
They do not care about anything but their money.
First we will see if the Supreme Court acknowledges the right of the President of the United States, under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (the IEEPA) to impose tariffs – the case the court looks at tomorrow, and then
if they do confirm that authority, as opposed to the court ruling that only congress has the authority to impose tariffs – then we will see if the same Supreme Court will rule that indeed, the Commander in Chief actually has authority over the military and its movements at times when no war has been declared by Congress.
The pace of these things moving through the courts, in just the first 10, 11 months of a four year term, seems to say that President Donald J. Trump, the brilliant business man that rebuilt skylines on time and under budget that – he’s got this, he’s got a plan, mapped out with no intent of letting the traps set for him in his first term dictating what in his plan gets dealt with and what doesn’t get dealt with.
His letting the courts do their thing speaks of true respect to the founding documents.
The curious thing is Lindsey Graham, a former military lawyer turned politician. Does he play the pretend to not know things game or is he actually stepping up and providing sage advice to President Trump when the two of them play their rounds of golf.
I think the courts have given Trump 21 wins in the past 10 months.
Next – anchor babies,
recessions and such,
deportations,
total control of the Executive Branch and so-called independent agencies and much more.
Some of the “respected” talking heads on conservative talk radio are suggesting that the SCOTUS will rein in some of POTUS tariffing authority but leave it somewhat intact.
The Senate will not do its job yet it wants to direct the Military? The Senate can send men and weapons in a hundred different directions at once.
The Black Robe Syndrome has infected Kongress too?
War Mongers? Military Mongers?
What’s the difference?
They may not be synonyms, but I know they are not antonyms.
It’s not all of them, but some of them could very well be charged with TREASON.
The evidence that they’re providing is piling up em day by day. I think it would be cheered by those that have been watching it unfold.
The last person convicted of treason in the United States was Tomoya Kawakita, a Japanese-American man, in 1952. He was convicted for tormenting American prisoners of war during World War II while working as an interpreter in a Japanese POW camp. Although sentenced to death, President Dwight D. Eisenhower commuted his sentence to life imprisonment, and Kawakita was eventually released and deported to Japan in 1963.
Treason: the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of one’s country or of assisting its enemies in war specifically : the act of levying war against the United States or adhering to or giving aid and comfort to its enemies by one who owes it allegiance.
Of course.
Who is paying these scumbags for this?
Crap Weasel Neocons.
Better prepare yourselves for the pendulum swing away from MAGA that will be happening in 2-4 years.
There is no one with the gravitas to replace Trump.
I have said and I will repeat once again, the United States Senate is the deep state, and control of the Senate needs to be returned to the states. The 17th amendment is a complete failure; and instead of the corruption that came from the states, we now have the permanent corruption of a group of corrupt people who will never go away. And with life extension technologies they will live forever we will never be rid of them.
The “deep state” is large, far larger than the Senate. It is embedded across multiple agencies, departments, and in all three branches of government. Anywhere there is control of money, assets, and the power to weaponize money and assets to achieve their goals, that’s where deep state-cooperating personnel are working. Intel community is especially corrupt. LEAs are infiltrated with deep state operatives. Congress members, judges, LEOs, they’re all in it. It’s not a formal organization, it’s simply people who’ve been persuaded, bribed, or coerced to cooperate; mostly the latter two..
Don’t forget the 10,000 SES (Senior Executive Service?) members embedded in DC. You know, those ‘experts’ we need with unique ‘institutional knowledge’ to assist in ‘continuity of government’. Unelected bureaucrats who think they’re sacrosanct and think they run domestic and foreign policy.
Yes. The so-called “untouchables”.
I guess time will tell how touchable they may be.
Numerous of the Repub senators’ superficial support for PDJT and their muted animosity toward his commanding leadership style were certain to become obvious over time.
His multiple, exceptional successes have increased the jealousy of senators whose egos demand that they must exercise their will and perceived right to control his spontaneity, creativity, and authority. In brief, they cannot maintain his pace and operate at his levels of intellect and successful execution, and it irritates them.
The clashing of his and their wills is toxic, and destructive conflict could truly put the MAGA agenda at risk.
Given the strength and determination of the personalities involved, common ground must be found, and that will be a great challenge.
Without a successful collaboration between the Executive and Legislative branches, especially considering the slim Repub majorities in the Congress, the opposition to the President from within his party can greatly impair his ability to achieve his, and our, vision for the nation.
I lack confidence in the Senate allowing him to take charge and be his positively aggressive and winning self.
It is equally unfortunate and dangerous that party unity is fragile, and that there are too many charlatans within both the House and Senate Republican caucuses.
Mr Wicker – a Wicker basket (case) perhaps.
Something Wicker this way comes!
If the U.S. Senate allows the food fight, (not ending the filibuster) to continue then the color revolution may come to their, (and our) door earlier than anticipated.
2023-2024: “I will end the war in Ukraine on Day One.”
Day One…Two…Ten…Fifty…100…250: “Ending the war in Ukraine is, complicated.”
No. Ending the war on Day One was easy, fulfilling an unambiguous campaign promise. Ending it once Day 50…100…250 passed made it complicated. He owns it now. Just as surely as Nixon owned Vietnam.
This is why the Republican Party needs a thorough cleaning of their own house or their political representatives will end up undermining all their efforts to restore responsible and frugal government in the US. Supporting the Ukrainians will not fix the problems and clear the $38 trillion debt.
Remember how, during Covid, the public became aware of which politicians, organizations and doctors were being funded by the pharma industry? Perhaps it’s now time to become more publicly aware of who funds these politicians, when it comes to NATO, Ukraine and other military interventions.
Only GOD can save our country!
…and patriotic forces in the …MILITARY….kEZIA
Just one more step in the takeover of our country by congress.
They are critically unaligned with common sense and decency and what is good for America, or any other nation for that matter.
As Maine just voted down voter ID and voted in Red Flag Laws, I am as disenfranchised as I have ever been and 2 days from turning 65. The defeat is real and it doesn’t help to know they cheated and that system is as robust as ever. I have to believe deals were made…
Hey Wicker and cohorts, the 1900s are so over and its a new dawn in America. And read the Constitution. Plus, we know ya’ll are on the take of MIC cash.
This “Peace and Prosperity” thingy that President Trump keeps hammering home is a tough pill to swallow for the establishment permanent D.C.
Repeal the 17th!
So in other words, to many if our snitches are being dismissed.
Roger is bought and paid for. I bet there are plenty of errors to force him out, just like Bush did his predecessor.
98% of the military bases in Europe should be shut down and troops reassigned to US border and elsewhere.
We cannot afford this global military hegemon and misguided efforts to be the world’s policeman. WWII ended 80 years ago and we never left but have kept expanding our military footprint.
We are $38T in debt and can no longer afford this. All federal agencies need a downsizing and budget reduction and DOD is no exception, the corruption and graft there are legendary, the place cannot even be audited. This all needs to change if we are going to right our fiscal and economic ship.
Let Europe take care of European problems and security. They are some of the world’s wealthiest nations.
