We have discussed at length how the EU/NATO intelligence apparatus will do anything to keep U.S. President Trump and Russian President Putin in conflict against each other. Now, two simultaneous oil refineries explode. One of them a Russian-owned refinery in Romania, the other a refinery in Hungary that processes Russian oil.
According to Daily News Hungary, the Romanian explosion happened in Ploiești, in the Wallachian region, the refinery is one of Romania’s largest, with a capacity of over 2.5 million tonnes. the refinery is owned by the Russian company Lukoil.
The refinery in Hungary at Százhalombatta refines Russian oil. It erupted in flames on Monday night. “The fire broke out on Monday night at the Dunai Refinery’s AV3 unit. It was swiftly contained, and firefighters have remained on site since, MOL stated in a press release issued last night.” […] “According to information obtained by index.hu from industry insiders, the entire oil refinery faces the possibility of a complete shutdown. Prime Minister Orbán Viktor, in his morning post, has promised the strictest investigation into the fire.”

What most people don’t realize is that the CIA and all the other intelligence agencies are largely autonomous, meaning they can and do operate outside the control of the U.S. government. They have sources of funding other than that which Congress appropriates to them, and they essentially govern themselves. So, even if Trump managed to “get rid of them” officially, they would still exist outside the government’s control. They would simply go underground completely and likely become even more dangerous than they already are.

My Dad was at the same base as those guys at one time. His unit (85th Bomb Squadron, 47th Bomb Group) flew A-20 Havocs doing close air support for Allied ground forces in Italy. Dad said the heavies were on the other side of the strip.
Fast forward nearly fifty years. I was an Army recruiter in Overland Park, Kansas. I was at lunch at a fast-food joint near the recruiting station.
There was a table full of old guys wearing Ploesti hats eating lunch. I introduced myself and shook all their hands. They were in town for a convention.
Every one of those guys was a hero.
They lost a lot of friends on those raids.

I don’t want to appear unnecessarily nit-picky, but I just don’t understand the red dots on your map. Ploiesti, in Greater Wallachia (the south of Romania), is only 35 miles or so north of Bucharest in Prahova County, and not in northern Romania as depicted on your map. Likewise, Szazhalombatta (in Pest County) is 10-15 miles southwest of Budapest. I know both of these locations very well. The Lukoil location (Ploiesti) has a large office building on the Strada Mihai Bravu, which technically is part of the refinery, but not actually on the ground with the main refinery infrastructure. I know the Danube facility in Hungary, although I’ve not been to AV3 section, specifically.
The dots are just to assist the reader in locating the country on the map. Nothing more.
