President Trump special envoy, Steve Witkoff, outlines elements of the talks between President Trump and President Vladimir Putin in advance of a meeting tomorrow with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and EU leaders.

US troop presence in Ukraine should be a full stop NO!
A sure guarantee to get our people killed and maimed is on a “peacekeeping mission”. Our military is designed to kill people and break things and not to play cop with ROE that ties their hands from self protection.
Let NATO and the EU provide “cops”.
In my humble view we need to disassociate from the EU, NATO and the UN and not provide more hostages to fortune, nor let others determine our foreign policy.
No NATO either. That gets US involved. Strictly EU providing security for non-NATO member.
I was pleased to hear Witkoff say without NATO and with European partners. Hopefully they will be most of that support, not us.
I keep wondering how the guys and gals from Langley are going to be ejected from UKR and indeed all of that continent. And DC! (Is it from a Treeper that I read about their color revolution efforts in Serbia?)
Meloni of Italy months ago send none of her military will be there.
I’m confident, she’s saying out loud what what other EU leaders are thinking.
👍
Bottleblond Bream sure has perfected the condescending sneer to accompany her preferring endless war and US bodies, I mean boots, on the ground.
The Murdochs must have a great deal of them there Trillions Of Dollars… At Stake.
Certainly glad you noticed this too… the only “more perfect character” than condescending-sneer is/was clause schwab and his right out of 007 movie evil villain schtick.
(Rump) Schwab is definitely Ernst Stavro Blofeld material.
It’s a Regime Change war with the Putin regime the one the left wants changed. Putin reminds me of Clovis, the King of the Franks, during the slow fading out of the Western Roman Empire, but with the Eastern Empire in Constantinople still trying to keep their hand in what happens in the West. Clovis “converted” to Catholic Christianity, which made him very popular with the church and with Emperors like Justinian, the Eastern Emperor who ceded Gaul to Clovis’ sons. The other German kings ruling over their respective tribes, Visigoths, Ostrogoths, and Burgundians were Arian Christians who didn’t believe in the Trinity. It is questionable that Clovis sincerely converted from Frankish paganism to Christianity, since he still killed family members to maintain his power, but it still made him popular with the right people. In Putin’s case, that only helps him in Russia. In the West, particularly the United States, Putin’s lack of support for the LGBTQ+ community, including no Pride parades, Rainbow flags over the Kremlin, and no drag queen story times in Russian schools put a target on him. The Left wants Putin gone. A clone of Hitler could take over in Moscow as long as a drag queen sings the Russian anthem at the next ruler’s inauguration.
Paragraphs are your friend. Coherence too.
Appreciate the history. The era you describe is something I have not dug into. Don’t know if I have enough years left to dig, but still asking, is there an author you particularly trust on the topic?
Yes and her mouth is so very pursed together. She won’t like what does to her skin. 🧐
Good tactic for Witkoff to drop this pill on a Sunday show. It’ll be a couple of days before Mom & Pop America hear about if (if they do) and say that their own Unilateral Article-5-Like response is: “Hell NO!” Funny how the “we’re not going to conduct negotiations in public” always becomes exactly that. For most of America (except maybe the Graham Coaltion of the Slitherers) that American boots on ground thing is a deal breaker.
We are watching this transition in the making of it:
America First and Europe is its own security guarantee (mostly)
This is just what it looks like when Europe has to “figure it out in public”.
NOW…
Are we going to get at TRUTH considering WHO ran the “color revolution” in Ukraine in 2014ish and WHY diid they do that?!
Who bombed the pipeline? ha ha
Dear Shannon,
Are you a real blonde?
She sounds like a spokesperson for the worst leader of a country since Biden. Oh! Wait! Biden is the REASON the little shrimp-boat was successful in killing the youth of his country’s future.
Fox News is a shill company for globo-influence concerns.
Boring loser.
I fully expect Trump to make an offer to Zelinsky that he cannot refuse. However, he will because his puppet masters are going to allow Ukraine to burn to the ground to protect their secrets.
Sounds like we are going to commit NOW to be dragged into the NEXT European war. sigh
Of course, Putin wouldn’t dare do anything while 47 is president. That bomber that flew overhead was a FAFO message from 47. But the next democrat president will likey have to deal with ANOTHER invasion by Russia, which is to say we would do nothing. And Putin knows that.
Russia didn’t invade by choice. They were staring at a Uke/NATO army that was poised to invade them. They seized the military advantage by striking first, instead of letting their opponent set the initial rules of engagement. Wise move. They’ve never lost that advantage.
On opening day, they declared what their objectives were and were not. They’ve never deviated from that. Russia is not after Western-style “territory.”
“They were staring at a Uke/NATO army that was poised to invade them.”
Complete bullshit. If that were the case, we would not have had serious and authoritative people here at this site (ahem) constantly reassuring us right up until the day of the invasion that Putin would NEVER invade, that it was just posturing, that the European countries warning of a Russian invasion were just taking the bait, and cautioning everyone here not to do the same. Putin characterizing the breakup of the Soviet Russian empire as the “great tragedy of the 20th Century” says all anyone needs to know about his intentions.
The context of the Russian “invasion” is important. You do realize that the areas in contention voted themselves independent of the Ukraine. The Ukrainian military was shelling the areas daily killing ethnic Russians. The Ukrainian army was building up forces to invade the independent territories. Russia didn’t wait and struck first to prevent the killing of the Russian populations. This is all true, never spoken of but documented. When you read western media you will learn that, Ukraine was actually bombing terrorists in Donbass not civilians, Russia rigged the votes for independence, the votes do not really count for anything and Russia broke all of the Minsk agreements. All of which is propaganda put out for your consumption and belief. You may well believe things are true that are merely distortions used to sway your opinion.
All I am hearing is a parroting of Russian propaganda used to justify its invasion of an independent European country that had NOT attacked it. No one recognizes the “vote” to join Russia. It was a farce.
Well, Bless your heart.
🙄
How is it that you are able to discern propaganda from truth so correctly? Do you ever wonder? Can you tell us your source for truth so we can all benefit from this wisdom?
It’s hard. I read a lot. Not just stuff I agree with, but stuff I doubt or outright disagree with. Every site, every source, every magazine, seems to have some axe to grind, some “side” to promote. Getting actual facts, from which to glean truth, is a lot of work.
It often feels like working in a civet coffee facility. You know, the coffee where they feed the beans to civet cats, whose digestive systems partially ferment it and then pass it. Someone has to pick through their feces to get the partially digested coffee beans out, then they package it and sell it. Gotta sift through a lot of sh*t to pick out the facts.
Unfortunately, there are very few beans in anything Russia says. Most of it is the other stuff. Always has been that way. And the same goes for Ukraine. Neither one is Western, so that may be part of it.
I’d as soon walk away from all of it and let Russia have all of Ukraine. They broke it. Let them fix it. But that would freak out the Europeans, wondering which of them would be next. 1939 wasn’t that long ago. And for that matter neither was the Holodomor.
If you read a lot over a far range of sources then why the bias against Russia? You waved away Russian sources as “very few beans” based on your readings. Those are the sources I asked if you would share.
BS
Always wrong but never in doubt. Right, trap? 🤣
Always right and often cranky about it [wink]

Sure wish more Americans knew this!
It’s not what you don’t know that gets you in trouble; it’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.

They were staring at a Uke/NATO army that was poised to invade them, don’t forget biden on TV at least twice a day for months saying Putin doesn’t have the stones to invade and how that would be biden’s line.
right on…
Russia could destroy Europe without using one soldier. Blow up all pipelines. Cut all fiber cables (which modern financial systems depend upon). And other actions I can’t even imagine.
And you wish they would, don’t you?
My wish is that people like you could see the restraint Putin has shown. If he were as nutty as the EU and the Ukrainian leadership, we likely would already have had nuclear war.
This war has perhaps the greatest potential to kill people than the world wars. That hasn’t happened in large part by Putin not using all the weapons at his disposal. When Biden was President, Putin certainly knew that between Biden and the EU he could have easily won.
I thank President Putin for not doing more than he has done, even though what has happened is horrible and I hate it.
The Biden admin pushed NATO when Putin said no NATO and the Ukrainians killed ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Neither of those can be disputed. They wanted Putin to act. They goaded him. And he reacted because both of those things are problems for Russia. Let’s not even talk about the biolabs they built near the Russian border.
Our problem is not with Russia. Our problem is with the globullusts (on stage now as EU provocateurs and leading around a Ukrainian nut job).
By focusing on Russia, you miss the point of how all this affects us.
I believe she is implying that Russia is exercising restraint…
Russia was staring at 30 u.s. bioweapons factories on their doorstep, Ukraine.
And to dispel any doubt about this, there was a huge cover story in that leftist propaganda factory called the NY Times in which the authors describe being allowed to see those facilities- ON the border.
I can’t recall if there was a post about that here. But Childers covered it in a Coffee & Covid post when it happened.
Nonsense. That Russian accusation was debunked long ago. Why is every Russian lie taken at face value and held onto for dear life, and anything incompatible with America hate or West hate is dismissed?

“Nonsense. That Russian accusation was debunked long ago. ”
No it wasn’t.

If His Excellency Putin announced that NATO was maintaining a base of space alien Bigfeet in Ukraine we would read it earnestly and repeatedly parroted in comments here.
BS
“That bomber that flew overhead was a FAFO message from 47.”
The only FAFOing happening right now is NATO poking the bear.
.@SEPeaceMissions Steve Witkoff: “We were on the phone with President Zelensky moments after the Alaska summit ended… it was absolutely acknowledged as a win.”
There is no ‘win’ until the CIA allow a win.
“@POTUS, as a mediator, was looking for ways to solve the crisis,” says @SEPeaceMissions Steve Witkoff on the Alaska summit.
“He understands that it is for the Ukrainians to decide how… they might make a deal with the Russians…”
I support moving all troops out of Germany, Italy, the UK, Romania, and all of NATO and putting them in Ukraine. We, de facto annex Ukraine so Blackrock can rape the hell out of the country to the benefit of all. /s
But seriously, Putin can promise a lot of wonderful concessions because he knows the CIA will not allow the war to end.
Can VSGPDJT… can send Mr.Ratcliffe and rest of see eye a to front line secure luhansk ????
War Room’s Steve Bannon and Jack Posobiec on Mainstream Media Ignorance of Shared History of US and Russia (VIDEO)
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/08/war-rooms-steve-bannon-jack-posobiec-mainstream-media
Bannon is really good at reminding his audience of how the Russian people are our friends, and has described their sacrifice in WW2 quite eloquently.
I am less enthused about other stuff he puts his focus on, but history is a strong suit.
No entangling foreign alliances! Per George Washington.
Our whores in Congress have allowed these foreign escapades to rob we legitimate citizens in the USA of the money we worked for. Their pot of gold is our tax $ – “pay your fair share” they say while they make millions off their duplicity.
Meanwhile the USA is struggling and crumbling. Thank God for Donald Trump!
The Murdoch hatred for President Trump and MAGA was on full display.
Back in the day when I watched FNC, Ms Bream won my admiration. It’s diminished seeing how she represents the Murdoch establishment.
Witkoff did great. Of course.
