Fox News host Bret Baier was given exclusive access to President Trump during the much-anticipated summit in Alaska.
Baier interviewed President Trump on Air Force One going to Anchorage and during the day’s events. In this interview, Baier asked President Trump what his expectations were going in. Trump noted it is not his place to negotiate the terms of a ceasefire on behalf of Ukraine, however, he is willing to be an intermediary in a focused effort to stop the conflict.
Stopping the killing is President Trump’s main priority, and peace is the elusive prize. In the background, as previously noted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the administration accepts the conflict in Ukraine is essentially a proxy war between the former Biden administration officials, NATO warmongers, international banking interests and Russia.
In a moment of genuine sunlight upon the backstory, President Trump notes he told President Putin, “There’s no way we are going to make a deal … impossible … because I have wise guys who created a phony deal, the Trump-Russia collusion hoax; and until those things are settled up, a reset in the relationship with Russia is impossible.” WATCH:
This framework essentially validates what a small group of deep weeds walkers, including myself, have suspected. From the perspective of Trump and his big picture objectives, the recent Russiagate releases and declassifications are not so much to get accountability upon the perpetrators, but rather to make the backstory so well known, that a strategic reset with Russia is no longer impeded by manufactured domestic issues inside the USA.
The value in Russiagate declassification and information releases, is more about laying the groundwork for a reset – and stopping the political opposition therein. That’s the Big Picture value to President Trump.
That is quite a big and significantly magnanimous position to take by President Trump.
Hopefully, the MAGA base will eventually come around to this understanding, because right now they are intensely expecting criminal accountability. That’s not President Trump’s goal; he’s thinking much bigger and more consequential than holding the irrelevant gnats accountable.
Apparently, Hillary Clinton can see that. It’s such a big altruistic position, her tribe appears genuinely stunned. Hopefully, the base of MAGA will also accept this strategic purpose.

President Trump is very magnanimous. However in March he was in a different state of mind.
When President Trump went to the DOJ (March 14?) it was like he was taking a victory lap. In his speech he said:

It remains to be seen what Bondo Bondi and Kash Patel are going to do to carry out the President’s directives to take legendary action to put those rogue actors and corrupt forces in jail for their egregious crimes and severe misconduct of which was levels you’ve never seen anything like it.

Oh, and was it really just an amazing coincidence that of the Pentagon’s 4,600 foot perimeter, the missile–I mean the aircraft that hit the Pentagon on 9-11 just happened to destroy the Office of Naval Intelligence that was investigating the DoD funding irregularities? And if we go down that 9-11 rabbit hole, what was it in WTC Buildings 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7 that had to be destroyed? What SEC investigations of funding irregularities had to be wiped out in Bldg 7?

It’s been interesting to read Sundance’s posts on X and here as well. He’s really digging in and doing a great job trying to make sense of all the cross currents. I think he’s right about where President Trump is going, that like SD says, “he has more consequential” things he wants to accomplish, like on-shoring manufacturing back to the USA, dismantling and destroying the woke mind virus and hopefully setting a path for 10 more years of government policies led by people who share his America First game plan. The damage done by Obama is going to take some time to erase and repair. I’ve been critical of SD and reflecting on it I realize he’s just been processing everything that’s been happening, that he’s been two or three steps ahead. I do think accountability is important, but pursuing it aggressively will hand over to the Media just the narrative they want about a dictator seeking retribution. I was making this point from the beginning — the worst part of this scandal was creating an enemy out of Russia, a country that miraculously had pulled itself out of the worst situation of the last 40 years. This interview shows that President Trump has a realistic perspective on what has happened and what he can control. He must have great ability to forgive and move on and not let what the perpetrators did to keep him or affect him doing an amazing job for the American people. If President Trump spent his time on get them put them in jail or perp walking them, and so on he would have no time to fix the problems these evil ones have caused. They will be in control again and every member of Trumps cabinet today will face retribution. If the “recent declassifications” were merely to make some kind of record for the sole purpose of Ukraine/Russia negotiations, we would have heard a lot more, not merely about a few documents from Gabbard, 7 burn bags, and an email about a stale Clinton server issue.

Take him at his word. He has been saying over and over, that the Russia hoaxsters must be held accountable, meaning indictments and arrests. When he says “settled up”, that is EXACTLY what he means.
This won’t be the first time you whiff, but this is your biggest whiff ever. The reason it’s such a miss is because you are completely missing the big picture of what the Trump Revolution is destined to accomplish. The hoaxsters getting off would ultimately be the death of the Trump Revolution…and that is not part of the plan.
It’s not that there won’t be indictments and jail sentences, but that is not the underlying goal of President Trump in bringing all of this to light for the American people to finally understand. When all is said and done, everyone that is sane will realize that the 2020 election was rigged and fraudulent.

Agreed. Far more valuable than convictions and jail is full exposure, undeniable evidence, and majority understanding as to what happened, really happened. From there we separate the sheep from the goats.
I think I understand why and how President Trump’s focus is not on Russiagate for the purpose of getting revenge or “seeing justice done”.
There’s a difference between being out for revenge or retribution, and cleaning up the mess that is the corrupt DOJ/FBI/CIA, et. al.
For the future of America, our children and our grandchildren, it is imperative the heads of those institutions rout out the lawless perpetrators, expose and prosecute criminal activities wherever they find, but most especially within the walls of their agencies.
That is THEIR job. If they do their jobs, then President Trump has the freedom to focus on the more important tasks that only he can see and fix.

First it was the Epstein files, and now it’s this. I really worry about the last point SD made. If you don’t follow this site then you don’t understand the big picture. There’s too many clickbait, hopium, charlatans who get the base riled up via Faux news that there will be accountability and indictments. Trump’s team (the actual patriots) need to do a better job of portraying this message…we are looking for a reset with Russia as the main mission by whatever means possible, even if that means Hillary Clinton and her Russia, Russia, Russia hoax co-conspirators walk free. Trump needs to lay out this case-as clear and as concise as possible. I don’t think the same strategy he tried with the Epstein files is going to work here either. It’s a precarious situation, and people need to hear the truth as ugly as it is. If there will be no accountability besides sunlight I sure pray that it is articulated to the masses…asap! They won’t keep supporting maga if they keep feeling misled, lied to, and void of promised accountability. The truth has no agenda!
