Fox News host Bret Baier was given exclusive access to President Trump during the much-anticipated summit in Alaska.
Baier interviewed President Trump on Air Force One going to Anchorage and during the day’s events. In this interview, Baier asked President Trump what his expectations were going in. Trump noted it is not his place to negotiate the terms of a ceasefire on behalf of Ukraine, however, he is willing to be an intermediary in a focused effort to stop the conflict.
Stopping the killing is President Trump’s main priority, and peace is the elusive prize. In the background, as previously noted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the administration accepts the conflict in Ukraine is essentially a proxy war between the former Biden administration officials, NATO warmongers, international banking interests and Russia.
In a moment of genuine sunlight upon the backstory, President Trump notes he told President Putin, “There’s no way we are going to make a deal … impossible … because I have wise guys who created a phony deal, the Trump-Russia collusion hoax; and until those things are settled up, a reset in the relationship with Russia is impossible.” WATCH:
This framework essentially validates what a small group of deep weeds walkers, including myself, have suspected. From the perspective of Trump and his big picture objectives, the recent Russiagate releases and declassifications are not so much to get accountability upon the perpetrators, but rather to make the backstory so well known, that a strategic reset with Russia is no longer impeded by manufactured domestic issues inside the USA.
The value in Russiagate declassification and information releases, is more about laying the groundwork for a reset – and stopping the political opposition therein. That’s the Big Picture value to President Trump.
That is quite a big and significantly magnanimous position to take by President Trump.
Hopefully, the MAGA base will eventually come around to this understanding, because right now they are intensely expecting criminal accountability. That’s not President Trump’s goal; he’s thinking much bigger and more consequential than holding the irrelevant gnats accountable.
Apparently, Hillary Clinton can see that. It’s such a big altruistic position, her tribe appears genuinely stunned. Hopefully, the base of MAGA will also accept this strategic purpose.

POTUS and Team Trump understand the need for accountability to reestablish a single rule of law in this country quite well. Things must be done in stages.
There has to actually BE a country to accomplish that goal of restoring the Constitution and the rule of law.
A country has borders, and control over all of its land, so that’s where he started – he closed the southern border, and is now in the process of subduing the geographical areas (for example, DC) that have been occupied in reality, if not in name, by foreign powers using domestic traitors and useful idiots.
Chinese owned land, Chinese owned government officials . . . if you really survey the landscape, there is a big task just securing the rule of US law and the ability to enforce it, and to even deploy military force within the geographical US as needed.
Add in the fact that we have both a red diaper baby problem (and a CIA diaper baby problem) and an imported foreign birthed first or second generation communist judges problem, and you must reach the conclusion that a good portion of the solution is squaring away the geopolitics and subduing the foreign interferers first.
So, in Trump 1.0 POTUS spent about two years going around the world securing submissions. Now in Trump 2.0 he is cleaning up the Ukraine and Middle East mess and putting the brass knuckles to the holdouts and the ones who went back on the 1.0 deal.
The domestic house can be cleaned much more easily when the foreign powers stop blowing dirt and throwing IEDs through the windows.
The ritual humiliation pictures of Starmer and Macron and Merz are a good indicator the front facing puppets in Europe are under control. Progress. We are getting close to the beginning of the end. The move on DC (captured and presented the flag, and erected the 88 foot flagpoles flying Old Glory) is another good indicator we are nearing the conclusion, after which arrests and justice can proceed. I’m not sure what the plan is about the judges, but I’m sure one exists.
In sum, the indictments and arrests will happen, but not before time and not before the administration has completed the task of “educate and bring along” the American public to normalize and build support for the need to swat the gnats.
If anyone deserves accountability, it is Donald Trump. In this respect, I am willing to follow his lead.

As I have often said the damage to our nation of NOT doing anything vastly exceeds the damage of doing so. Consequences are absolutely necessary or the behavior will continue and be repeated over and over. This truth can be clearly seen in every aspect of events, from the actions of the domestic enemies of our nation to the repeat criminals in the deep blue cities of our nation.
The only real question is the form in which said consequences materializes and the timing of it.
The time, energy, effort, and distraction of doing so at this time in the criminal courts may not be wise. On the other hand, the court of public opinion is another matter entirely. If their reputations are destroyed and their deeds are laid bare, that IS a consequence – one which may be almost as bad as one in criminal court, particularly when coupled with the one thing they crave more than any other – power and influence (including the money flow which is already being severely curtailed with actions such as the elimination of the USAID pipeline).
It may be up to we the people to convict and prosecute them – possibly including in CIVIL court. That said, if they loose all power and influence, their reputations are destroyed, their history fully exposed, and their schemes obliterated it may be a fate worse than death to them. As with a child, the best punishment is taking away that which is dearest to them – and in this case that is indeed their power and influence. If at the same time our nation is restored, that is far from their actions being consequence free. Yes, would love to see them face the criminal consequences as well, but not if it prevents the greater good for our nation and her people.
As many situations are oft described – it’s a complicated matter. The phrase, the greater good comes to mind – as does the undeniable truth that they will all face judgement by our Lord and Savior.
Retired Magistrate here: If President Trump can live with what they tried to do to him, and us, to stop the killing, get a re set with Russia and attempt peace, I can live with it also.
Realistically, there might be convictions of a few sacrificial individuals, but the real perpetrators will probably not face judgment in this life. However, there is eternity coming for everyone and JESUS will be the judge.
I will try to find the part where he talks about forgiveness, but our pastor preached about the Lord’s Prayer a few weeks ago. He said that he cannot believe he hasn’t do a sermon on it before (he keeps extensive notes and notes he’s done a few none Sunday message on it, but never on a Sunday morning). My first thought listening was exactly what Sundance said about the MAGA crowd and “convictions”.

I just re-listened to the part of forgiveness as I was trying to find it. He notes that the ONLY part where Jesus gave commentary after giving us The Lord’s Prayer was on forgiveness: For if YOU forgive other people when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you (Matthew 6:14 NIV)

I agree. The real criminals will probably not get rounded up and get justice served. However, they have been exposed, tarnished, accused with evidence. Basically Trump saying we are going to get this done. We are going to be watching everything and everybody and we will come down fast and hard on anyone who masses things this time. Settling up with those who orchestrated Russia gate will have to include what Putin called the root causes of the war. The long game includes the mid-term elections where big wins will be unifying. When we ask God to bring down the corrupt in our governing class, the most important aspect of that is stripping them of every vestige of power. Shame, contempt, exposing their lies are all more important that finding a judge and jury to convict.
Trump may very well be doing the right thing. This country needs to start over, and that would never happen if prosecutions take place.

Think of this as an analogy of President Trump fighting illegal immigration with the criminals and gang member and murderers imported into our country by the past Demoncrat administration.
He is removing them from our country, cleaning up the streets, closing down sanctuary cities, removing them from social security, and government benefits, etc. to correct the problem that has infected our entire system to weaken us as a nation. This illegal system collapses a country and changes the character of a people. This system is designed to remove the heritage people and to replace with slaves of ignorance and servitude.
Cleaning up illegal immigration, bringing back manufacturing, etc, etc means nothing if these internal enemies are not taken down and brought to justice.
It’s still in our capable hands to hold these people accountable. NY State set precedent for a state, I’m looking at you Texas, to hold a person accountable for federal offenses. If not formal justice, then these people should fear to walk down the street.
I am quite convinced that we should and must have both: (1) a reset with Russia and an end to manufactured war-for-profit, AND (2) criminal accountability. Because “the lack of fear of one” is what breeds the other.
If these people can do something very damaging to international relations, and ruin people’s lives, and everything they did is declassified and stands revealed – and nothing happens to any of them – then we simply need to disband the “Department of Justice.” Because clearly, there is none.
They will learn this truth, and do it again and again with impunity. And “We, the People” will eat bananas. 🍌
When these people – who have overthrown national governments – are brought to justice, then peoples of other nations will also experience a sense of Justice Served.

I suspect a lot of Indian Americans will also have come to this realisation by now.. it’s an all too familiar feeling… People in power are transparently crooked and they will face no consequences for their crimes.. i suppose God will take care of them, but it’s clear that they will escape consequences on this planet

Maybe people are learning just how much these criminals are guilty and will escape justice. However, now that they have seen the evidence and understand the depth of the corruption, the light will be turned on for future criminals who try the same things. No more wasting time or waiting and passing the statute of limitations before exposing them and moving for consequences.
Maybe people had to be woken up and shown how bad it has been, shown the truth. Going forward is all we have. Going back does nothing but reveal the depth of the evil. Learn from it, be more watchful than ever and get the criminals immediately when they are suspected of any crime against our country.

I think that it might be wise to keep in mind that our President is being magnanimous for our sake, for the world’s really. I’m sure the safety of his family is very important too, but he is doing this to protect others as well.
Justice takes time, if it even comes at all in this life. And these people are capable of anything, even starting world wars. So, which is more important? Retribution or protecting the little people from these psychopaths (global psychopaths, would that it was only our country as that would be easier, but they are spread out globally) as much as possible? In the process he has to deal with people who are also very aware of what could happen, both to themselves and their countries — nothing like nervous (for good reason) allies…let’s just say not exactly the sorts you can go kicking in doors with.

He’s already accomplished more than I thought possible.
Look at the state of our judicial system and the absurd actions and rulings happening. Swatting the gnats would be harder than we think.

However, he does throw a minor bone to keep the speculators busily distracted while he handles important matters. He is undoubtedly a serious man and a warrior for America, something the TDS crowd still haven’t fully picked up on in their ingrained tone-deafness. PDJT is exactly what The Founders had in mind when they drafted our Constitutional Republic.
I can understand the decision although I’d like to see justice. But we have too many activist judges which will need to be taken care of too.
I do hope though that they take away the main powers of all these people. That would mean all security clearances and pensions are removed from each individual. That would be a direct hit and I think a justifiable one.

Ok, am I alone here in having not mentally tied the significance of the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax to peace in Ukraine? Could be thatI am “gifted” with a bit of short sighted simplistic thinking at times. I will admit that. But after watching the events of yesterday I was somewhat perplexed AND I did not watch the Brett B interview in any detail. I missed that part that Sundance has highlighted and expounded on.
Now I sit here thankful that I read this site and contemplate the way in which these things all tie together.
With only one cup of coffee this morning I wonder aloud following the theme out host has laid out. Let’s say we get a bunch of indictments, trials and a mixed conviction rate. In a few months/years most of those get their due. Then what….
Framing things along the lines of this morning’s thinking, I think Trump might already be working the “then what” part of the equation. True and last peace will only come after dealing with the “wise guys” and their crafted conflict. I guess then the question would be what punishment might be accomplished without putting them all in jail. What punishment could be meted out that doesn’t “waste” the majority of his term. Waste is probably the wrong word but it’s the best I can do at the moment.
What might be achieved without devoting the massive amount of time/resources that would a) satisfy the MAGA base and b) set a future that holds the real promise of where we all want to be?

So, let me try to understand.
We have been “at war” with Russia since the end of WWII, except for a brief period when the Soviet Union collapsed under its own weight, and they were so poor and disorganized they weren’t any kind of threat.
Now, we are “at war” again with Russia through Ukraine, sort of, even though I can’t see what possible difference it makes to me as an American if Russia takes the whole thing.
And Sundance is saying that Trump has to lose the actual war, the one between justice and lawlessness, right and wrong, Good and Evil, so that we can “reset” relations with Russia? Back to what, exactly?
From the cheap seats up here, I will tell you that “the base” is NEVER going to accept that we must live under a two-tier system of justice in America just so Europe doesn’t have to deal with Russia. We want to end the actual war, the one raging for the soul of America.

Pres. Trump has exposed with evidence those who committed the evils in the past. That is all he can really do at his point and it is necessary. Justice for those we know are criminals and guilty of treason is a goal too far at this point, to get done in a reasonable way. The cost, the time and the resources to move years long trials forward is staggering.
Pres. Trump seems to be choosing the way forward now is to expose the criminals completely. He then is forging a new world of peace and prosperity which include being ok to deal with Russia as a country on friendly terms. The exposure of the Russia hoax allows this for him. Which do you think he wants to spend his time on? He’s chosen the way to go for peace and prosperity. His use of tariffs and now this attempt at settling the UKR war via engaging Putin as not a war foe but as a person to do business with provided the peace comes.It seems President Trump is opening doors across the world to try and make people’s lives safer and more prosperous. His efforts are there and not in retribution for the past evil criminals he is exposing.
He is attempting to shine the light on the evil and making sure it doesn’t continue and also try to make the world a better place. Huge undertaking and he will leave a lot for the next generations to continue but he is making the effort with America in mind firstand that is quite amazing.
As a footnote, I don’t think he will entirely abandon getting some consequences for many of those who harmed our country.
Yes, exactly. Release of the Russiagate documents is to prepare the American public for what comes next: holding the Cabal accountable. Prosecuting the Cabal is not the end, it is the means to a greater end, which is a strategic reset with Russia and an America as a trusted partner in relations with all countries.
We have to make sure that the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax does not happen again, and to clean house we must be prepared to do what is necessary. Then we can move on to be a good partner in strategic alignments that bring about a peaceful world. And we have to stop overthrowing foreign governments and rigging elections.
While we can be an intermediary in the Ukraine conflict, we must stand back and let Russia and Ukraine find acceptable terms for a ceasefire. Hopefully we will not give in to the Carter solution, to just give billions to each side as a bribe to stop fighting. Please, no Camp David Accords. In this, detachment is also in the interest of the larger goals referred to here.

The only problem with ignoring the gnats, is the treatment regular citizens received due to the corrupt intents of these people. That original essentially carried over to the Biden years.
