Fox News host Bret Baier was given exclusive access to President Trump during the much-anticipated summit in Alaska.
Baier interviewed President Trump on Air Force One going to Anchorage and during the day’s events. In this interview, Baier asked President Trump what his expectations were going in. Trump noted it is not his place to negotiate the terms of a ceasefire on behalf of Ukraine, however, he is willing to be an intermediary in a focused effort to stop the conflict.
Stopping the killing is President Trump’s main priority, and peace is the elusive prize. In the background, as previously noted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the administration accepts the conflict in Ukraine is essentially a proxy war between the former Biden administration officials, NATO warmongers, international banking interests and Russia.
In a moment of genuine sunlight upon the backstory, President Trump notes he told President Putin, “There’s no way we are going to make a deal … impossible … because I have wise guys who created a phony deal, the Trump-Russia collusion hoax; and until those things are settled up, a reset in the relationship with Russia is impossible.” WATCH:
This framework essentially validates what a small group of deep weeds walkers, including myself, have suspected. From the perspective of Trump and his big picture objectives, the recent Russiagate releases and declassifications are not so much to get accountability upon the perpetrators, but rather to make the backstory so well known, that a strategic reset with Russia is no longer impeded by manufactured domestic issues inside the USA.
The value in Russiagate declassification and information releases, is more about laying the groundwork for a reset – and stopping the political opposition therein. That’s the Big Picture value to President Trump.
That is quite a big and significantly magnanimous position to take by President Trump.
Hopefully, the MAGA base will eventually come around to this understanding, because right now they are intensely expecting criminal accountability. That’s not President Trump’s goal; he’s thinking much bigger and more consequential than holding the irrelevant gnats accountable.
Apparently, Hillary Clinton can see that. It’s such a big altruistic position, her tribe appears genuinely stunned. Hopefully, the base of MAGA will also accept this strategic purpose.

I suspect the safety of the Trump family is an issue. After all – they killed Kennedy, probably Seth Rich, probably others, tried to kill Trump so he has good reason to take any threats to his family seriously. I don’t think it’s far fetched to imagine that he was warned to lay off certain people or else.
What about the rest of us? If the President of the United States fears to act because of a threat to himself or his family, then we are lost as a country.

People that read history know that there are times when the rule of law has been handled by the people because the system failed us. The people were forced to make a display of their rightful power.

That was my momentary consternation about the Epstein fixation. Pick an area, a topic, delve deeply enough and you’ll find grounds for indicting one elite or another. They are, as a species, dirty and corrupt and their hands are full of all kinds of evil. Trump won the 2024 election and he has now released the documents supporting the conspiracy that was the Russin hoax. My take on the release of those documents was that Trump wanted to show Putin that he was willing to expose the CIA’s corruption. Trump wanted Putin to come to thw table and Putin would not because for so long, the CIA, not our President has been in charge.

The last line, “Hopefully, the base of MAGA will also accept this strategic purpose”, is confusing, though. Why would the base not accept the mission? Is the MAGA base part of the machine intent on waging continual war, or are we focused on America first and peaceful existence? Are we among the corps of international bankers, protected elites, globalists, and Lenin worshiping agitators?
I can’t see a reason not to support ending the war, but that does not include blind favoring of Putin’s position and neither does that support the intensely corrupt Ukrainian government. Not-war is the goal and America has no reason to be involved tactically in the Russia-Ukraine conflict; the clashing between those parties will likely continue on one level or other.
There was much revealed in the months leading to shots fired, and those lessons are the ones I’d like to see taught.

Trump should deliver a heart felt national address on the whole issue of accountability: statute of limitations hurdles, his long range goal, and something along Lincoln’s line of reasoning to bind up the nation’s wounds. The failure of the system to put the fear of retribution in the hearts of the wrong doers suggests that the system needs massive reform and even replacement. Probably beyond the power of one man to achieve. When those in power abuse that power, they must suffer some consequence. Why would Whittaker have to recuse himself? He didn’t work on Trump’s campaign and supervise Carter Page and George Papadopoulos during the campaign. The only street protests were tiny, which means most Democrat demonstrations are Astroturf.

Spot on, and there are plenty of ways to drive that point home.
Take, for example, arresting illegals right outside a press conference where the Democrats’ next presidential front-runner, Gavin Newsom, is strutting his stuff. Some will whine, “Yeah, but they only nabbed a few, maybe a couple dozen, while millions are still in California.”
They’re missing the bigger picture. Trump showed Newsom who’s boss, sending a loud message: we’re deporting and arresting illegals, even the ones cheering you on. The optics of yanking a few illegals on live TV, while Newsom was bloviating, was a gut-punch to him, California’s leftists, and the DNC. It’s way more powerful than rounding up 300 in some remote desert spot.
Most Americans back deportation, and that stunt hit harder than any drawn-out DC court battle that’s going nowhere.
I’ll settle for prison time if we’re unable to bring back hangings.

I’m sorry to say this, but I am often frustrated or disappointed with the ‘influencers’ in the MAGA movement. The most vocal of them appear to be younger people, often male, all bound up in retribution, punishment, indictments, (and clickbait, sadly) etc, and don’t have the political acumen to view a larger picture. For example, the spew about the ‘Epstein list’ was only subverted when the question arose as to why the Dems were suddenly so interested in having this released. Without that, the MAGA base was totally focused on a list (assuming this was going to bring down elite pedos….which was ridiculous to begin with), and the issue was actually dividing the MAGA movement.
They make a crap ton of money to do it. They have no moral compass, their compass only points toward the bank.

This solution will have bad repercussions in the MAGA base. “Lock her up”, “Drain the swamp “, the Snake poem, and many of President Trump’s promises will have been broken. Somebody better get into his ear and firmly point out the many pitfalls of this scheme. This way of thinking will weaken America. Don’t forget that these traitors tried to, and still are trying to assassinate our President.

At the very least the history books used in schools need to be re written with the truth. Right now Trump is portrayed as a Russian stooge and an insurrectionist, Clinton as a victim of Trump’s wrong doings, and Obama as some kind of savior. Do not let anyone teach your children this crap.
This baloney is also showing up in readings used for literature at all grade levels and in high school & college psych books/courses.

I see the change coming. I live in Tennessee. Williamson County is the richest in the State. MAGA conservatives took over the Republican Party in a hotly contested election. Earlier this year the RINOs formed a group called Conservatives of Williamson County and spent $100,000 and a lot of time to overthrow MAGA. They spent that kind of money to take over the Republican Party in a single county.
In the county I reside, the MAGA folks split from the Republican Party. The Party wants us back in or gone. The UniParty knows we have few places to go and the force is against us. Kneel or be stomped.
If President Trump did nothing other – and hes done plenty – but if he did nothing other than running all of the uniparty scum that has infected/infested our government and way of life, he’d still be the greatest President in history.
