I said when the alignment first took place, there would come a point when Elon Musk turned on President Trump and attempted to split MAGA into oppositional teams so that Musk could achieve his agenda. Elon Musk is currently mining for team members.

Elon Musk supports President Donald Trump by putting the House and Senate in control of Democrats?
See this for what it is.
Elon Musk has an agenda, and it has nothing to do with DOGE or spending. Y’all already know what his agenda is, many of you just didn’t want to believe it.

Bottom line is this: Unless the majority of voters demand this mess gets managed the KleptoParasite class will keep milking it.
Everything else is noise.
They don’t understand our debt, deficit, and 99% didn’t live through the Depression.
Most don’t understand the TRUE magnitude of the DEBT. $36 Trillion is just what is published, it’s far greater than that. The amount of MONEY allocated “electronically” from THE FED post COVID just to EU Banks was north of $100 Trillion, factor in the BAD BETS Wall Street has with DERIVATIVES, its a number so large it can never be PAID back. Kabuki Theater of the absurd, live your best life, and stay humble and aware.
Elon is. It wrong. We have a Uniparty and Musk has the same frustrations as we do. He just spent months exposing waste, fraud and abuse and Congress has done nothing to support and codify because they are obviously beneficiaries.
Can he take out some RINOs?
He’s exposing RINOs. Just look at RINOs like Massey, Rand Paul, and Sen. Johnson who are against the BBB.
Imo, no need to expose them, but just vote out every DC Lifer. Like gollum, they’re beyond help; been twisted too thoroughly.
Wrong. They aren’t RINO’s.
RINOs don’t speak out openly. They play along , riding the waves-not making them- waiting for the opportunity to stick the knife in your back after they’ve continued to quietly grift off the system
Gone is the romance
That was so divine
It’s broken and cannot be mended
Nah this is click bait. Elon is still pro Trump and always will be. He’s invested too much of his time and money, risking his businesses vitality just for Trump. He won’t walk away. He’s simply calling out the uniparty like any one of us would do.
Above all, he loves his children . He knows what horrors would await them in a Democrat/Satanist-run US. I think that love, which you never see in Thiel or any of the tech bros, will be his redemption.
Sorry, I love Trump, but I agree with Musk.
I’d LOVE to give Trump a supportive GOP Senate and House to have his back. He doesn’t have it, and he never will. The GOP Congress wouldn’t push this kind of bill on him, except to knife him in the back. Reagan was conned into trading increased spending and debt for later cuts, which never happened. Trump may or may not be doing the same thing, i.e. maybe GOP Congressional leaders are promising later reform if he supports just this, one last, very last, eternally forever last, porker-deficit-spending bill.
The GOP Congress is all, 100% a lie. They can talk about too few seats to lose any votes. In reality, the GOP could easily police itself if the problem was one or two renegades. THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT, LYING, CHEATING politicians. Ya can’t even trust “the good ones”. They’ll say one thing one day, and the next, they’re supporting Hamas and USAID and every Democrat f**king cause from the government til.
Again, I understand the concerns Sundance and Bannon have about Musk. He ain’t my favorite cowboy, but he’s put his own skin the game, while the GOP won’t invest a hangnail. There is NO excuse, absolutely zip, zero, nada, for 2.5% in 2025 deficit spending, period. Any Republican lawmaker who says otherwise, is lying scum.
I can’t vote GOP, if they do this bill. I just won’t. I don’t care if Trump’s endorsed it or not. I have 50 years of being conned by Republican politicians, and I AM DONE with it. (Fortunately, I’m nobody from nowhere, so my own vote doesn’t matter. So, don’t worry MAGA folks, it’ll all be just swell as the debt passes $40T with no end in sight.)
correction: for 2.5% in 2025 deficit spending,
should read “for $2.5T in 2025 deficit spending,”
It was $1.7T I believe, in 2024 Biden deficit spending. What’s wrong with this picture?!
Is $2.5 Trillion the 2025 projected deficit?
Last I heard.
Projected due the tax cuts, ironically, not even the spending.
The GDP will outgrow the debt, which is the whole plan including tariffs and trade deals. Simply cutting spending won’t do it. Not in the real world.
I kinda figured out that you meant that!
Agree 💯 with every word you said. I’m fed up with the whole crowd. And why Trump goes along with it is baffling. They have him hog tied with the threat of impeachment. He is so afraid of being the first modern POTUS in history to be impeached and convicted that he is pretty much useless. I guess I’m not so baffled after all.
Trump is working within the D.C. swamp to try to make progress. He can be the “Nyet” President, and make no progress. I understand that at this point, he believes that the only way out of the deficit spending is growth. Unless he makes this deal, he’ll be unable to make any others.
Again, the GOP is absolutely killing him. THEY are the f**king problem.
Been telling my best friend for many years now that there is one thing that the Republicans FEAR more than anything else in the world:
That the Republicans would gain a supermajority.
They will do ANYTHING to avoid gaining a supermajority.
Why: If they had a supermajority they would have no excuses but to enact our will.
Great point, precisely WHY the 17th Amendment will never be repealed……..
… and also why Congress will never vote for term limits on Congress members.
They could have that if all states went to one-day voting, showed ID, and used paper ballots. I believe we’d have a large majority today.
Maybe he was worried about a recession before Q2 GDP takes off.
Or maybe he’ll take most of DOGEs $200 Billion in cuts via rescission.
Or maybe he ignores it like everybody else and focuses on trade, tax cuts and manufacturing.
I am on the edge to joining you in NOT voting GOP, this last election we had pushed me there. Not only do the federal elections play this game, state and local join in and do the very same thing. They do the talk, but not walk the walk!
For one thing, I keep seeing how the economy is stabilizing to where we can afford to eat a decent meal, yet I have to listen almost everyday about the shelves in the grocery store not having any food to buy. So the ole party is gonna throw a bill(BBB) at us that still will finance the military operation to enable another war to take place, but I have to invent a meal outta thin air for us.
I better stop now before my head explodes from all this nonsense 😛
It doesn’t matter, really, but I have thought elections were fraudulent for 30 years at least. GOP “safe seats” all have RINO’s in them. How did they get elected in “solid red” states? Democrats retroactively win by a few votes, hours, days, weeks after their opponent had won. (The first “reversed election” for the House was a guy in California named Bob Dornan, back I’m not sure how far back (edit: 1997). That seemed to be one of the pathfinding stolen elections, duplicated by Dems all over after that. Why not; the Clintons won in 1992 by stealing that election, too. Al Gore tried to do it in broad daylight in 2000.)
Again, the thing to remember (And Seth Keshel’s data in 2020 proved it, to my satisfaction) is STOLEN ELECTIONS are being stolen by both Dems and Pubbies, in order to get the most socialist government possible. Whether there’s blackmail going on after that, who knows? All I know for sure is that the statistical distribution of “conservative” politicians is 180 degrees out of phase with the voters from those districts and states.
Our elected government is corrupt, a fraud, and the GOP is proving it every day in D.C., in 2025.
They are in grave danger once we see that we have no chance of a Rule of Law republic. Then they become the hunted.
So what will you do, vote Dem?
Go Galt
I’m in S.Carolina and presently intending to vote democrat to replace Graham. He’s playing with global war. I would like to see him primaried out of the election but I don’t see that happening. It largely depends on how slim the majority might be or if we might lose the senate in the next cycle. But Graham, as I see him, has gone from sneaky snake in the grass to globally dangerous. (Probably others saw this long before I did.)
So voting Democrat or not voting so that Democrats control the House and Senate—THAT’S YOUR SOLUTION? Damn. Poor Trump. He gives his all and this is the best we can come up with. Damn.
Best option is to line up primary candidates. The problem with Republicans is that MOST of them have actual lives and actual careers. Elon Musk can be a senator or a congressman though…. wouldn’t that be interesting?
never works – incumbent will run 3 ringers to dilute the vote. This ALWAYS works – from federal elections all the way down to local school board races. voter id, same day, paper ballots will work but that will never happen.
It’s not 2.5% deficit spending….that is 2.5% “deficit estimate due to the tax cuts, not spending. Tax cuts are cuts to revenue, hence less money coming in. Go ahead and cut the entire mandatory budget. Good luck deporting people without ICE agents. Stephen Miller already explained all this.
While you’re at it, go ahead and trust the BS numbers from the CBO who put out those numbers. Same kind of “experts” who thought we’d have a drop in GDP yet now estimates are up to 4.8 GDP growth, far above the 3% that President Trump mentioned and was laughed at. The only way we realistically deal with our debt is to outgrow it. Ironically, Elon shouldn’t be ragging on this idea since it’s literally how Tesla came out of its initial ruin. The President’s plan is to grow our economy for generations.
Realistically dealing with our debt requires three elements:
If you recall, when DOGE was new and announcing cuts, the President trumpeted a DOGE refund. LOL!
When you’re in as deep a pile of dung as we are, financially, how do you justify even thinking like that?
Gee, honey, I know we are near foreclosure, we’re way behind on all the bills, the kids need braces and they’re tired of eating only a couple of days a week. But, uncle John died and left us $5000. What say we head to the Bahamas for a week?
Agree. Trump is just a realist when it comes to the.political game. He can’t get ever the wants from Congress so he makes this pork bill into the best he can and calls it “big beautiful bill” ..it’s the best he could get out of the worst.
Because those lazya$$ liars haven’t done a real budget for 18 years. Every year I wrote my uselessRINO Congress Critter, Brian No-Spine Mast, to remind him of THE SCHEDULE FOR A REGULAR-ORDER BUDGET. And each year I get a nicely decorated middle finger I return.
Agree completely.
You do matter. To Him?
conned
I have less than 50 years of being conned by the uniparty.
“86 Uniparty” – JoMama McBama
Yea, once again then, vote for a democrat. How far gone would we have been with Clinton or if Kamala had won? How big of a hole? How much more censorship or covid crapola? There wouldn’t even be the need for an Elon or any other savior. Sorry, it is all about the lesser of two evils and it looks as if President Trump can’t change it, God help us because nothing will.
And the 88 people who upvoted this, where are you all going? With Rosie overseas? I’m sorry, these posts are laughable to me these days. Are you gonna be a dem or an independent next? Yea, that’s the ticket.
who gives a damn – I’ve got a mansion just over the hilltop. This ain’t my home, it’s just a stop in the road.
I know that P. Trump is concerned about the debt, but I think that he believes that we can grow ourselves out of it. I don’t think we can.
And from I’m seeing from fellow seniors like me is that they really think that there’s just a bit more money for them in SS. No intention of getting a PT job, exploring alternate living arrangements, or shared ANYTHING.
And that seems to be true of anyone getting any public assistance.
They don’t care about their grandchildren and children. They care about themselves, and they WILL “beggar thy neighbor”. They don’t get it … WE ARE BROKE. BANKRUPT. INSOLVENT.
NOBODY is thinking about how family might pull together, or plant a community garden, share seeds & chores, create a root cellar, do shared canning, etc. Do guard duty in the neighborhood. It’s all about “me, me, me, gimmee more money”. Just appalling.
REGARDING ELON MUSK:
I would like to say something that’s been on my mind for a good while now. I am not supporting, nor am I criticizing Elon, or anticipating his future actions. But, as someone who has experience working with and being around highly gifted people, I am simply
expressing an opinion regarding him.
I was not surprised that Elon became massively frustrated, impatient, disappointed, and extremely angry with the situation in which he found himself!
He is a person who has had phenomenal success due to his great intelligence and by his willingness to sacrifice what many would consider, “a normal life.” He works extremely long hours and dedicates himself to his endeavors. Because of that, he has acquired the power of ownership and wealth. I imagine, that up until now, he has seldom, if ever, faced a situation that he could not work hard enough and dedicate himself enough to solve!
THEN, HE MET THE SWAMP!
Can you imagine the frustration of a man used to solving extremely difficult problems in hours, or even minutes, running up against the never-ending corruption, the self-protective mechanisms – and all of it, all too often protected by LAW, as it stands in this country? Law, infected by the immoral, unethical, and corrupt “virus” that has spread through our government, our country, and the world?
Have you, yourself, ever become so angry and so frustrated that you simply CAN NOT BEAR IT because it seems that our government, over the years and behind the scenes, has protected itself from EVERYTHING – AND THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO TO FIX IT – because no matter how hard we work, and no matter what we do, “they” have protected themselves from everything – ESPECIALLY US!
If they don’t like something, they legally exclude themselves from it. If they do like something, they make sure they can legally do it. If they don’t like the way we vote, MYSTERIOUSLY, The vote goes their way!
They exclude themselves from all the rules that we have to follow – and make new rules to enable the actions they do want to take.
ACTIONS LIKE:
**Take many lavish “vacations” all over the world.
**Create high-paying jobs for friends and family.
**Exclude themselves from vaccine mandates.
**Vote themselves raises, benefits, and time off from work.
**Make fortunes investing in the stock market and other deals – deals that are dependent on their insider knowledge.
How many other people are able to work for only a few years and wind up as multi-millionaires, having a lifetime pension, free lifetime A+ healthcare, and many other benefits?
How many of us have felt, over the years, that the politicians and bureaucrats (and those who “own” them) think they OWN this country and consider the American people as nothing more than pawns to be used for their convenience and profit?
Now, THINK how this affects a man who has had the ability and the power to fix things and solve problems quickly! A man who has received profits, accolades, and respect from multitudes, even if grudgingly given.
A MAN WHO DOESN’T LIKE TO LOSE!
(Much like someone else we know…)
MAGA!
Well said. Maybe Senate will follow Ron Johnson lead to cut debt and spending.
The spending must be cut by $1 Trillion this year (and next year) to save the Dollar as a reserve currency. It is so frustrating that politicians don’t feel confident enough to trust America to adapt. Zero based budgeting would be a start.
“And maybe monkeys will fly out of my butt”
-Madonna on SNL
Ron Johnson is a RINO. He’s out to undermine Trump
EXCELLENT COMMENTARY- a lot of wisdom here.
Thank you! That means a lot to me.
THANK YOU !!! You are right. Disgusting vile greedy grifters the lot of them.
It’s a simple process for quid-pro-quo … a win/win for the UniParty:
The demonRats are EVIL … The RINOS are their EVIL enablers.
You’re welcome and thank you!
Having worked in government, military, civil service, consulted outside of government (both fortune 100 AND government contracting), I feared that what happened with Musk, was EXACTLY what would happen. He treated government like business. Go in, identify the problem, most critical first, work 140 hours a week with a small team to identify and implement the solution, train the business unit, and move on. “How hard could this be?” He found out. He discovered that his time and his life was better spent on his multiple businesses, that support for D.O.G.E. was a fake-out by someone (Trump?) – a waste of time. Everything D.O.G.E. does is DOA, to the GOP Congress.
Well, Musk found so much fraud, waste and abuse, absurdly easy things to find by ANY outside auditor (wtf are those high priced firms doing for the $$ they charge the government?!! He did it simply by following the money. Following the procedures that authorize and release the money. What he found was so bad, there should have been STREAMS of people going to jail immediately. The quick progress led him to believe that the same procedures could be implemented government wide, to save $1T to $2T immediately.
What happened? No one went to jail. Federal judges countermanded the Constitutional Executive at every turn. Ok, so that’s bad, but we have a GOP Congress, right? Wrong. The GOP Congress critters, Senators and House members, uttered words of outrage. “We never knew. The bureaucrats hid this information from us.” Lots of words, zero action, except to BOOST the Biden corrupt budget even higher.
Musk finally understands the US government. He understands that there’s nothing he could do to change “the system”, by simply doing the job. There are way too many rice bowls at risk. I’m not just talking about government department and agency budgets. I’m talking about pure graft. There are literally $TRILLIONS in graft money changing hands in and out and around government, and no one man, not Musk or Trump, is going to change a damn thing, without the Legislature behind him. The Legislature is bought, paid for, and delivered, both the Dems and the Pubbies.
If the GOP Congress critters were truly outraged, they could have had meaningful investigations, subpoenas to every living soul who had a hand in the till, CRIMINAL REFERRALS. They could have tried to impeach EVERY “imperial” Judge immediately. They could have invested every damn personal thing about EVERY judge involved, their bank accounts, their kids, and no one could stop them. There’s no law requiring Congress to have “probable cause” for a fishing expedition. The GOP Congress could have put the fear of God into the corrupt Federal Judiciary, and stopped this injunction nonsense. They could have (apparently) eliminated the worst acting Districts altogether. The 9th district? No such thing, gone.
Is the elected GOP just gutless, or personally corrupt? WHY WON’T THEY DO THEIR F**KING JOBS? Why won’t they keep their promises. What motivates them to pass Biden’s budget, +$500B more? If this 2025 GOP budget fraud they are passing doesn’t convince you that there is no hope, if the GOP ~~ IS ~~ the hope for America, nothing will.
I don’t at this point, give a flying f**k if the Democrats win, because with the GOP in control of the government, they’ve already won. Here’s to the greater Communist Socialist America, courtesy of the GOP boys and girls you’ve been electing for FIFTY years. OMG, I am so freakin’ angry. Like hell I’ll vote GOP. Trump ain’t enough to get me to pull that lever. There are no promises the GOP could ever make, that’ll reverse the lies they’ve already told, and the damage they’ve done to this country.
Spoken like someone who’s never lived in a communist country. You are truly deluded if you think this is the worst it can get and Democrats can’t do worse.
So you still don’t believe there’s a uniparty? You actually think there’s two choices? Lmao
It’s refreshing to finally read some fed up outrage about what’s going on right now.
We sent trump in to burn the corrupt diseased temple of power and money to the ground, preferably with all the swamp creatures locked inside.
I’m getting more nervous by the day that Trump is getting out maneuvered and he is unwilling to press the demolition button, which is exposing every last rat on the ship as well as following through with crippling wall street.
I’m sorry but our economy is not great yet. And honestly, it won’t be until institutional money aka wall street is bankrupted and the opportunities are returned to main street. Small businesses are choking and they don’t have the pockets to absorb what’s been happening over the last 4 years that the big guys (Elon musk included) can.
Trump. These guys are not your friends. You made a lot of promises that are directly against the system itself. You will not be able to appease Congress and keep your promises at the same time.
Ok shill.
Very well spoken. This needs to be spread far and wide.
Thank you!
One other thing. We all see that no matter how strong of will President Trump or Elon is, things really aren’t going to change much. If the military isn’t willing to step in and start removing these traitorous scumbags, there is only one other way to fix this.
If you take a hard look at the house and Senate Republicans you will find the Vast Majority of them are RINOs which it self is a misnomer because if the Majority are do nothing Rinos that is a Republican. I first noticed this during Gates over throw of McCarthy. Go back and watch some of the footage if you want to see what the Republican party really looks like. Behind a few outliers and bombastic characters like MTG (not a fan) you will find the spine of the republican party is made up of a squishy core of self serving country club good for nothing Republicans.
We spend so much time looking at the other side. So rarely do we spend any time looking at our own past the big names and into the periphery. You want to see who your champion’s are? look at the vote to replace McCarthy. I was so disgusted I no longer refer to my self as a Republican.
I welcome some distinct changes to the republican party. We have Trump right now who is a good first step, but the core of the party who got us to where we are now are still there. If they can’t be replaced with Stand up Republicans then Trump won’t be anything more than a speed bump on the way to global governance.
How long have I been saying it?
The true power within the Republican Party, is at the top level of the 50 STATE Republican party organisations.
And, so far not ONE of the 50 is controlled by MAGA.NOT ONE!
People talk about primarying these disgusting gits and I keep reminding them that their numero uno opposition will be their own state RNC. TX GOP has it down to a science. They simply make sure the field is crowded and if any actual cheating is required, it is hidden in the dust.
Minnesota isn’t far behind that. MN GOP is now trying to expel a group that is responsible for the most new Republicans registered. Action 4 Liberty. Grass roots group of Conservatives trying to MAGA. GOP has made the news several times in Minnesota trying to quell the voices of Conservatives within the state. A lot of dirty politics and underhanded things happening.
And that is why repealing the 17th amendment would be a bad idea.
ty
saying
Controlled opposition makes it harder to get out of the uniparty horse-race gate.
controlled
If that doesn’t work, controlled opposition has 86 ways to $unday to get back at you.

In FL, the FLGOP is filing lawsuits to deny the FL Republican Assembly, a longtime affiliated, recognized, chartered & MAGA group, the right to use GOP or “Republican”, or the elephant symbol, on any website, stationary, etc, and they even ran off Peter Feaman, well-respected CommitteeMan, to even deny him a candidacy!
DeSantis is doing more sneaky sch*tt than you can imagine. What a sleaze.
If PDJT had formed the Patriot Party would he be President now?
Reforming Republican Party from within is not working.
Even Texas has a Uni swamp full of Republicans.
Tough question.
I meant the Capital in Austin is basically Amazonian muck.
No way to know for sure but the issue is that the grassroots RNC (I am most familiar with Texas) is full of MAGA and convincing those folks to jump ship OR finding enough MAGA with time to politic is the issue. I belonged to the largest Women’s Republican club in the USA and they met for lunch at the country club on a week day. And continually asked why they couldn’t get more people there and discounted the very few of us under 60 who talked about meeting at other times, providing child care, etc, etc.
“Gates”?? Perhaps “Gaetz”?
He got his contracts and increase in H1B numbers. That said, for all the pork we have in this bill, plus the 1 trillion in defense spending, we should be getting more money for immigration enforcement.
He should be smart enough to know we primary them, not wait until November because I’m sure as heck am not voting for the Democrat..
I didn’t vote for Elon Musk.
Just because he shared the stage doesn’t mean he now shares the Office.
PDJT is a Very Stable Genius. Musk is a Deliberately Unstable Genius.
Both men are geniuses and phenomenally good at what they do. Both have quirks. Both emote out raw takes on things that bother them. Both can temper their emotions when they need to.
Musk is no longer a Special Government Employee. Now he is out of that position his handcuffs are off and he feels more free to speak his mind, including being more critical of the administration. It doesn’t mean he had a falling out with Trump. It doesn’t mean he turned against MAGA. He is just spewing out his raw individual opinions now he no longer has a SGE filter.
President Trump is advancing the BBB because it is the best way to get quick action on his highest priorities – the tax cuts, fulfilling his campaign promises, starting to chip away at the deficit. He knew ahead of time that a Big Beautiful Bill would end up getting loaded with pork, but that is the price to get quick action in DC. He is willing to accept a lot of bad stuff he does not like in order to get his top priorities. He is being strategic.
Part of Musk’s persona is to overreact and throw tantrums. Musk is raging against the BBB because it has a lot of stuff he doesn’t like. He is no longer a Special Government Employee, no longer an official part of the administration. He is free to react emotionally, posture and focus on his own interests because he is no longer constrained to act strategically on this issue. But it doesn’t mean much. Musk will forget all about this in a week and be on to something else.
Musk is reacting with raw Id. Trump is the Superego in control.
Ah, the Reagan 80/20 compromise strategy?
Reagan would have never approved an $40,000 real estate and state tax credit to appease blue state RINOS.
And Musk is the first person since Ross Perot and Newt Gingrich to take our debt and deficit seriously.
Absolutely fabulous explanation.

Musk is not wrong and that is no spilt between him and Trump.
Everyone should go. Time for a full change.
Democrats will now be rebuilding destroyed Tesla dealerships
I think DOGE IS a big part of Musk’s agenda, something he and his team are very proud of. I think calling for the defeat of everyone who voted for BBB, (Big Beautiful Bill, not Build Back Better), was just another example of Elon shooting his mouth off rather than a calculated effort to betray his friend, Trump.
Musk is the new age manifestation of the eccentric genius and arguably his most glaring eccentricity is his penchant for blurting things out, then often often backtracking on them later. Remember how he trashed EVERYONE who opposed the H-1B visa program and even implied anyone who disagreed with him was a racist? Then he declared Nigel Farage unfit to serve in political office and…apparently not many conservative Brits agreed because Farage is now the leading candidate to become the UK’s next Prime Minister!
There are a lot of plausible reasons for Musk to trash BBB, one of the foremost being that said BBB eliminates the EV tax credit and that hurts Tesla sales bigly! I think he was counting on Trump leaving that one alone and is more than a little pithed that it wathn’t!
I could be wrong but I’m expecting Musk to realize he went overboard on BBB and to walk back some of his comments after a confab with Trump!
DOGE should have been an actual govt agency like Milei created in Argentina that has the actual govt muscle to simply axe things on its own. The irony here is that its shortcomings have been by following a libertarian playbook of decentralizing power instead of centralizing it to do a specific job, such as Bukele and Milei.
@Sundance,
I have a different take. IMHO, Musk just made a brilliant PR move.
First, he departs from DOGE. Now, he vocally criticizes Trump. These acts of virtue signaling will redeem him with progressives.
Perhaps PDJT does not want to directly be more hated by ‘progressives’ for cutting their nonproductive gravy train?
Are thee any dem congresscritters who would reason (I know, using the term loosely):
“I hate Trump
Elon hates Trump spending.
Therefor I love Elon, hate Trump spending., and will support any anti-Trump spending with my vote.”
Way too logical.
Bingo. And he can continue to beat the drum for serious cuts.
Musk is 💯 correct. The BIG Beautiful Trump bill is a big spending bill and a big raise the debt ceiling bill. Musk has every right to be dissed. He volunteered his time and DOGE found billions of dollars in waste and outright fraud and no one has been held accountable for the theft of billions of dollars and no one in the uni party even cares about it. I would love to see Elon get rid of every single republican in the house and senate.
Be very careful what you wish for.
This reaction by Elon was by design and it will work out for Trump. Wait for the dunk. It’s coming.
Did anyone see the picture of an electronic wire that came in through a window when Elon was working with OMB?…I believe that’s where he was.
It seemed so strange to me and I had the feeling he was collecting information ( for later use) at the same time he was doing DOGE?
My mind was wondering if he did this in every department and processed that it would come in handy to him for later use.
My brain in the tin foil hat wonders if the reason he wanted to stay on is to collect even more data.
Well it seems to me that theres a lot of pork in this bill.
Whats the point of having DOGE looking for savings and illicit pork when the RINOs pass such a bill?
—-
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. They just passed a $1.6 TRILLION pork bomb filled with bribes, backroom deals & BS. This isn’t a budget — it’s a payoff list.
Elon Musk is calling it out. So should YOU. SHAME on every sellout who voted yes. Our country is being drained by these parasites. WAKE UP.

Ron Johnson says break it into two bills. I agree. Get the border and immigration enforcement funded, with other emergency needs. Those are probably 70 / 30 issues.
I believe it. He is simply too good to be true. He is a political consultant construct.
With that said, we use him when we can and discard the rest. This is me throwing his garbage out today.
My reservations about Musk were somewhat assuaged by his help during election season, PDJT’s obvious friendship with him, DOGE of course.
But when he and the future Governor of Ohio belittled and derided Americans, our culture, cursed at us…. Over H1B visas.
He never regained my trust. Good riddance.
How soon people forget that. I am grateful for his work but that just showed me his mentality of people and this nation in general.
I do not trust.
Elon Musk has done many good things:
Built Starship which rescued the stranded American astronauts who now have severe health issues
Invented Starlink for reliable rapid internet access worldwide
Started DOGE which exposed the lying stealing and illicit funding going to terrorists and into the pockets of NGOs (Soros linked) who used that money (taxpayer money) to go after and persecute US citizens
Bought Twitter which opened free speech world wide which has allowed people to speak their minds and stopped in many cases the cancel culture.
And now this-a slap in the face to the DOGE enterprise to save America
Criticize Trump when he needs it, give him accolades when he deserves it.
We don’t need cheerleaders. That’s how we got the “father of the vaccine” nonsense from Trump. This is why I tune out many of the commentators today. They are mirror images of the Biden bots of before.

Elon may also be burnishing his tarnished image.
I don’t see issue with those tweets. The budget bill is disgusting. packing so much into one bill is not the way the govt is supposed to work .
You saying we can’t hold Republicans accountable because it might hand over the house and Senate to the Democrats??
We are here, because for 18 years, we have had NO CONSTITUTIONAL, PROPERLY APPROPRIATED BUDGET! Almost ALL the debt is due to that!!..
And right now, there’s no one in Appropriations working on the appropriations for FY 2026, which is due to be completed in only FOUR MONTHS!
NOBODY is doing ANYTHING! Kicking FY 2025 down the road, so they can do ANOTHER ROUND of CR-OMNIBUS FOR FY 2026! Brazen as hell!
The only way I see that practically and realistically we can get the massive change in personelle, is an unprecedented scandal, such as the release of 1000’s of hours of Epstien vids, showing all members of Congress in a disgusting bachannal orgy, complete with pedophilia, beastiality, and human sacrifice, forcing all in Congress to resign.
And, even then unless MAGA has control of the State R parties, and hence control of thecprocess for replacing the scumbags with true MAGA patriots, it would still be an excercise in frustration.
Trump can’t control the Congress. They pretty much put him in a position that if he wants the funding for border security, mass deportations, a beefed up military, and his 2017 tax cuts made permanent, and no tax on tips — he has to accept all the waste and pork they dumped into the bill including restoring all the DOGE cuts and green new deal scam.
As ever the model for the too big government (bureaucracy) the slouch to one world order; Which side is more corrupt, wasteful and obscene? The beast is never satiated and seems can’t be killed. The unrelenting fear mongering and demagogery are exhausting! Here we are with bright lights on the obvious waste fraud and abuse of this gov-beast, not even 6 mos in and the good ideas and actions stymied at every turn by feckless reps and unjust Lawfare, suggest to give up? WTF? It’s wrong to say emperor has no clothes? It’s wrong to continue to fight for what is right?
Great pic of President Trump.
I’m not a Musk fan and I don’t forget his obnoxious and crass comments about MAGA, on this issue he’s not entirely wrong though. Speaker Snake Johnson who has not delivered individual budgets as he promised he would, who has repeatedly kicked the can down the road with CRs, who continues Biden’s spending, has conned President Trump into vesting his prestige into Johnson’s “big beautiful bill”. Johnson talks about spending cuts… right now this ” big beautiful bill” raises the debt ceiling another 4 Trillion Dollars – that means only one thing: more spending.
Musk said primary rinos, not elects dems. He’s spot-on about the big bs bill.
I agree. Musk has already threatened to fund PRIMARY opponents to pressure Republican senators into confirming President Trump’s nominees. So his statement about firing all the politicians who betrayed the American people may not be about putting the House and Senate in control of the Democrats, but rather, eliminating the Uniparty obstructionists.

Arrrgg! Nicole Wallace makes my skin crawl! It’s valuable to pay attention to what these goblins are saying. But I can only stand so much and need a couple Tums afterwards. Maybe even a Scotch.
PS I love Elon, God’s got a plan, so keep praying and we’re all going to be fine. Woo-wee, what a show!
Who is truly serious about cutting spending and balancing the budget?
If Trump leaves office with continuing trillion dollar deficits his presidency will have been a failure, regardless of how many illegals he deports.
The deficit and the debt are that important.
I have no expectation that the Dems will do anything good. There is a 30% chance the Republicans will do something good on this point. They are sabotaging Trump in the process.
They should be lining up recession bill after recission bill for votes. Items that no Democrat could defend.
But they don’t.
SAD!
illegals
The more illegals that harvest ballots for the uniparty the easier it is for the uniparty to elect uniparty politicians.

what happens after President Trump?
do you really think that Elon musk (OR PEOPLE JUST LIKE HIM) are going to just quit and not apply effort to influence THE PRESIDENT.
are we asking the RIGHT people to change things?
are we even asking.?
or are we just accepting whatever happens nex?
stage 4: transfer of power. (revolution).
there are no guarantee that the ONE selected is actually revolutionary.
it really does take a nation.
is the nation ready for that kind of revolution?
perhaps not.
Perhaps this is best understood as the first saga of the end of the GREAT PRETENDING.

i’m sure Elon has access to info none of us know yet, and he is pissed he got his reputation tarnessed and his showrooms damaged and Trump fbi/AG didn’t help Elon more. Trump has history of letting his big supporters twist in the wind. I know Trump enemies where also roasting on Trump flesh too. But Elon really went out on a limb for MAGA/Trump.
And now with this porkfeast by the Republican slime-balls padding into the bill and not going after all the waste and fraud Elon found, with no “bad actors” arrested or charged. Elon was hoping that TRUMP was serious when Trump got up and shouted “fight, fight, fight”. Elon heard the call, and phoned Trump to say … I want to fight for MAGA too. Let me help.

Calling BS on this. Elon is correct the bill is bloated
Sundance, please fill your readers in on Elon Musk’s ‘agenda’, personally I’m in the dark.
Musk’s agenda is self evident: it’s always gonna be what’s best for his businesses. Whoever thought he was the first altruistic human to have ever lived was deluding themselves. He didn’t become the richest man by choosing country over himself.
evident
Common sense tells me it’s more than evident.
Musk announces himself in presentations.
Musk is a galactivist, not a globalist.

Tell me what about the bill is Musk wrong about ?
GOP won’t cut what DOGE exposed?
DNC sure won’t.
Where does that leave the law-abiding, hard-working, bill-paying, bank account balancing tax-payer?

It is clear that Republican’s are doing everything they can to lose the midterms . I purpose Trump ask Elon to fund a viable 3rd Party – The Trump Party – led by Scott Presler .
I agree with Elon. The Deep State is embedded in Congress and their lobbyists. They are slowly backing President Trump into a corner, which is why he says he needs this pork bill to pass. Everything he’s trying to do is being blocked or stopped altogether. It’s clear that he Supremes (except for Thomas and Alito) have gone to the dark side.
They want us to start the infighting and lose the midterms.
Put pressure on your congress critters to support Trump. Call often.
Timing is everything and the timing is not good for MAGA. This is where genius shows it is unrelated to wisdom. If MAGA fails, Musk will too.
To my knowledge, this is the argument. I’m not even going to pretend to understand this completely. Some Republicans are demanding more cuts to THIS bill, instead of waiting for the next bill that can address other spending. Mandatory and Discretionary spending.
All of the cuts have to be done on 2 separate bills.
What would people suggest for cuts on this first bill? I’m hearing that they can’t cut anymore from this bill without creating more problems within the Government. I’m also hearing more cuts, but no one is talking about WHAT to cut.
From Google AI
“Government spending is broadly categorized into mandatory and discretionary spending. Mandatory spending, like Social Security and Medicare, is determined by existing laws and doesn’t require annual approval, while discretionary spending, such as defense and education, is subject to the annual appropriations process. “
It’s always that the common sense and promised spending “cuts” come later, next time. Or over the next 20 to 50 years. It’s this fixation in the big blob bills, and they defining tax cuts as an expense. What does congress really do, cause it’s not on their primary focus of responsibility.
At this point it might be well to remember that the British public voted for Starmer largely in order to ‘punish’ the Tories. Did the Tories deserve it? Of course, they’ve been awful. Did Starmer get a mandate? Hardly, he barely squeaked by as many didn’t vote at all because it seemed useless.
Nonetheless, they wound up with Starmer, and what has it gotten them?
When is a majority not a majority?
I’ve been saying for awhile now that Trump should name six Republicans in Congress who will be replaced in 2026 with MAGA republicans. Then dry up their funding and recruit MAGA replacements far enough in advance that they win easily.
Instead, he’ll probably endorse John Cornyn, lol.
Refer back to the comments on the State RNC, who do NOT want/support MAGA contenders.
So are we pretending that this bill isn’t an atrocity? It raises spending – sure maybe more on “our’ “priorities” – but kicks cuts to the back end. Our financial system, fueled by out of control government spending is reaching an existential crisis stage – a reset almost necessarily must occur, and the battle is over who will control that and what will kick it over the edge. By backload, ie empty politician / congressional promises to future, it is simply politics as usual.
I do agree that Elon is not trustworthy – but who is really? – and still accept his criticism here at face value because it’s damn true. We know these GOPe assholes are selling us out – just look at fay Lindsey and his pal and the Senate. Why now is WH sending over bills to actually encode some of the DOGE cuts to congress? Because Elon is right.
We should expect more from GOP congressmen – I know I would like to throw out the whole AR delegation including Tom Cotton frankly, and I read the remarks in comments of how many red state patriots cannot dislodge their slimy GOPe traitors from office but not for a lack of trying. So let’s not pretend that Elon is lying here, even as we stay eyes wide open to the ultimately tech-oligarchy society he will help usher in.
The cleaving has begun.
