I’ll put the interview below and you can listen to Farage explain his contacts with Elon Musk and his praise for the work Musk did to assist President Trump in the 2024 election. However, due to domestic issues within Great Britain, Farage feels the Reform Party needs to keep Robinson out of the movement.
Expecting Nigel Farage to embrace Tommy Robinson in the Reform Party would be akin to expecting President Trump to embrace Alex Jones in the new Republican Party. Elon Musk is currently testing the limits of his political demigod status.
I’m not joking when I say that eventually Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, David Sacks, Larry Ellison, and Peter Thiel will likely demand that their newly controlled MAGA movement, which will – by then- mostly consist of alligator emoji people, remove and ostracize President Trump.
Their long-term play will be to use JD Vance as the wedge to fracture the MAGA base and install Thiel’s groomed politician. It’s the natural sequence to these events if you play them out looking only at the data visible. That’s the USA part of the dynamic.
At that moment people will realize just how far this crew is taking things.

Before the interview, Elon Musk was full of praise for Nigel Farage, even considering spending a lot of money to help the U.K reform party to better organize in the U.K. That praise is now seemingly lost forever as a result of this interview.
I still remember when twitter was like before Elon purchased and exposed the hate it contained. I will go with Trump until he says different. His reason is usually spot on and is experienced in life says leads in the right direction.
Well, there’s two different issues here and we should be cautious about conflating them. First, Elon Musk has proven, with his vehement advocacy of expanding H1b, that he is a dagger aimed at the heart of MAGA. He needs to be pushed out of Trump’s inner circle right now.
But that does not mean he’s wrong about Tommy Robinson, and/or Nigel Farage.
Second, Tommy Robinson is a hero, and he should be celebrated as the hero he is. To compare him to Alex Jones is off the mark. Tommy Robinson has been persecuted by the British authorities for calling attention to the worst scandal in British history, which is the collusion of the authorities—the police, social workers, etc.—with Muslim rape gangs. Tommy Robinson has been persecuted by the authorities because he will not abide what they have done to lower class British girls.
Nigel Farage opposes Tommy Robinson for reasons of class. Class is vastly more important in Great Britain than it has ever been in America, by design of America’s founders. Nigel Farage’s opposition to Tommy Robinson is not principled, it is based on snobbery.
More importantly than the issue of Tommy Robinson, however, is that Nigel Farage is trying to be an alternative to labor and the Tories without being an alternative on Muslim immigration, which is by far the most important issue facing Britain and Western Europe. It is really the only issue. If you are not for a 100% halt to Muslim immigration then you’re nothing. You’re not a solution for Britain’s problems or anyone else’s. And Nigel Farage is not. Reform does need a new leader if the form is to be a real alternative.
Halting Muslim immigration, while still possible, would only delay the Muslim takeover of Britain.
One must admit that Islam is a problem and that Muslims should not be in the West in large numbers, then halt Muslim immigration, then begin deportation. Nigel Farage will not take the first step of admitting that Islam is a problem. He’s been very clear about that. That’s why Reform is never going to be a real alternative, so long as Farage is running it.

When hotels are commandeered to house new Moslem arrivals by the boat loads daily…
When these “arrivals” are provided for in every way, funded by the taxpayer, including the priority service for “migrants” of walk in GP appointments with only a 15 minute wait (and yes, there is a special app for those people and only for them) while the poor benighted populace can’t get through to even make an appointment, never mind secure a timely one….

With the clear islamization of Great Britain, I believe they need to act quickly and get rid of Starmer any way they can. Musk should be taken out of Trump’s inner circle, and Trump’s real friends should be warning Trump against Musk.
But Musk is a separate issue from Nigel Farage. The problem with Farage and the British ruling class generally is that they believe they can preside over a lower class composed of Muslims as easily as they can lord it over a working class compose of Anglicans. If Trump is in favor of H1b visas, it is because Musk has been whispering in his ear constantly about needing them. The most important rationale of the Trump movement is raising wages, first by closing the immigration spigot of cheap foreign labor, and second by repatriating manufacturing from China. Importing 85,000 foreign workers who work for 30% less than Americans is a gut punch on MAGA, on the entire rationale for the Trump movement.
I disagree with your “take” on Farage. First…he attracts Red Wall voters who abandoned Labour to vote for Boris Johnson and were comprehensively screwed by the Conservatives. Red Wall voters are “working class” but Farage speaks for them but with posh tones. I have supported Nigel for years…and Jimmy Goldsmith before him.

If Musk didn’t have all this money, would anyone really care about his opinion? Assuming that Farage, having been around the political block somewhat more than Trump, begins to understand Musk’s somewhat hidden intent, Farage’s response will be interesting. At this point, I am beginning to view Musk with a similar lens that I view George Soros. However Musk’s ‘Achilles heel’ may be that he apparently refuses to stay behind the curtain, but rather likes center stage. Musk’s autistic tendencies, while perhaps a positive with regard to his business acumen, may also prove to be his social downfall.

I know very little about Tommy Robinson. Nigel Farage has been fighting the good fight for a long time. But judging by the comments on YouTube, Elon Musk might be correct.
From watching interview, Musk’s attack against Nigel Farage is seemingly more to do with Farage’s nuanced statements (suspicions) about Musk than an authentic “defense of Robinson”.
Imo…Sounds like Farage knows exactly what Musk’s role is and how it aligns with UniParty and anti freedom agendas.

Musk has always been a bit of an enigma to me. I’m not sure if he’s a candidate for being the Anti-Christ or the savior of humanity. I’m cautiously watching this whole thing to see which way it goes.
Elon is speaking from the safety of the US, of course. Nigel Farage is subject to the “Hate Speech” laws of the UK. Not too afield to believe the current UK government or one even lead by the “old guard conservatives” would put Farage behind bars if he came out “embracing” Tommy Robinson.

Elon Musk is an unabashed transhumanist so embedded in dark government contracts — it’s amazing and frankly disillusioning to me that MAGA EVER saw him has some sort of hero rather than a useful, opportunist check-signer and media manipulator. Sundance has flagged from the beginning that extreme skepticism is/was warranted — but as usual Sundance has been way ahead of the curve relative to other platforms, and even many readers here have treated Elon as a rockstar.
Once populist movements reach any sort of breakthrough, they are at extreme risk of being derailed and hijacked. For example: Back in 2011, in the wake of the financial crisis — the leftist Occupy movement had a genuine moment of populist critique — calling out the grift running through finance and highlighting that Congress/Treasury, etc were essentially creating a system of “socialism” for bankers, where the elite took the risks (and established a parasitic relationship to the real economy), and ordinary people covered/absorbed their losses. Say what you will about the left– it was the left, in that moment, that mainstreamed awareness of that Big Ugly. At that time, the Tea Party was similarly focused but not *singularly* focused the way Occupy was; Occupy captured that cultural/political moment. We know because the democrat oligarchs became terrified and turned on them immediately.
If you pan out 40,000 ft, we should consider it’s no accident that DEI soon after accelerated and essentially derailed and hijacked the populist movement burgeoning on the left. The left started drowning in odious, arrogant, over-reaching racism and identity-based communism — pushed by the democrat elite. As a consequence, any real populists joined Trump/MAGA and now the years later, all the genuine populist energy is gathered on the right under Trump. I’m not saying the Tea Party wasn’t a genuine movement; I’m saying Occupy was too, and was so singularly focused and frankly successful with the mainstream at that particular moment — the Gatekeepers moved in hard.
We know here that the Republican party is really no different than the Democrat party — but I’ll go a step further and say there is nothing necessarily more savvy about the right than the left (even apart from the Party apparatuses). My point is, no populist movement can afford to get so giddy with success that it forgets that every single moment it exists will be a sacrificing grind, with false-friends and saboteurs at every turn. Not one second of the next 4 years will be smooth or handed to us and if it ever appears that way, we’re missing the picture.
It is very hard for people with left/right partisan views ever to see things this way (ie, populism being an animating political sentiment on its own, even detached from left/right), and become wedded to seeing the their political leaning as inherently different (and better) than the other. I agree that, for now, the left has lost its bloody mind. But at other points (and in the big picture), both the left and the right have legitimate intellectual and good-faith underpinnings and without decadence and corruption, could co-exist as productive foils.
MAGA needs to be very self-aware here. We cannot give even an inch of latitude to the likes of Elon and Vivek to run their own policy gambit for example through the repugnantly-named “DOGE.” Trump must retain control, and we the MAGA base must not pretend that Elon has any sort of special standing. He jumped in front of a parade with a bunch of money and a mechanism (Twitter) to manipulate the media environment. We can’t be wooed that he used that manipulation to help our guy win a landslide. Elon is a demented, megalomaniacal transhumanist and will absolutely pull MAGA toward the “right” version of DEI communism — meaning playing to the excesses, fever-dreams, and unpalatable prejudices of rightwing elites to the exclusion of the real populism that drives the movement.
Frankly, I don’t believe Musk added that much to Trump’s victory. It was going to happen with or without Musk. God is on our side as we saw on July 13.

Idk. I’m on the fence about this one, too. I like Farage a lot. However, this rift occurred mostly because Farage did not seem to have a problem with Tommy Robinson being in jail for so long (18 mos) and in solitary confinement for contempt of court in connection with the grooming gang issue. Farage pointed out that Robinson was not in jail for speaking out about the grooming gangs, but for contempt of court. To which Musk responded that there was no excuse for Robinson being imprisoned and in solitary confinement for such a long period of time over the offenses for which he was convicted. The offenses were posting, or refusing to delete posts about a syrian refugee, summarized in the msm as follows:
