Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich discusses the House spending bill last week and the eventual outcome. Much of Gingrich’s advice on the issues are very pragmatic and pertinent to the current status of the Republicans in the House.
Gingrich notes that President Trump’s legislative agenda is dependent on all of the Republicans getting on the same page and putting their differences aside when it comes time to vote. WATCH:

“Gingrich notes that President Trump’s legislative agenda is dependent on all of the Republicans getting on the same page and putting their differences aside when it comes time to vote.”
Well, this isn’t going to happen. So what’s Plan B?
I lived in GA for 35 years. I had Newt up my behind. I will never forget him sitting on the bench with Pelosi and loving it up. Do not trust this POS.
Sir, then you forget “the Contract with America” which was a tremendous success in almost all promises kept. Newt Gingrich was he best House Majority leader we’ve had in my 70+ years. He was kicked to the curb by RINOs in the house!!!
As planned … the Pelosi/ Newt sofa love-fest destroyed Newt politically.
Just like Jeb – putting the medal around Hillary’s neck – destroyed his political future … RINOS are stupid … they think demonRATS actually want to work with them !!!
I don’t recall if the sofa event was before or after the media began hammering him for being a cry-baby over him throwing a fit over having to leave Air Force One out the back door. Or at least how the media portrayed it.
The media hammered Newt from his first day in office, and certainly piled on during the AF One event. I believe the sofa event was after because Newt appeared to want to try and be liked by the media then, which was a massive mistake. His Speaker days were numbered at that point.
His Contract with America as mentioned by NoYHR was excellent, and it was also him who required Congress finally follow laws they passed for everyone else.
His Speakership could have been one of the greatest, but he made the mistake of thinking the media would not do all they could to take him out, with his good new friends on the left helping.
Thought Newt’s image / reputation was destroyed by the discovery of his affair while his wife was fighting cancer.
It certainly didn’t help. The media was after him with a vengeance, so anything they could throw at the wall and get to stick, they tried.
I don’t recall when he left his wife. I do recall the left went nuts with his Contract with America. It was all downhill from there. Newt should have recognized the attacks would come and should have never tried to make nice with them.
Knowing what we know now, that the Media and the left were the attack dogs, but it was Uniparty RINOS who let slip the leashes, and they used any kind of attack vector they could, just like they do with a their enemies…
Newt made the same mistake they ALL make, thinking these people have any honor or decency, and trusting them cause “they’re Republicans”.
Pelosi Galore was a very attractive woman back in the day and maybe not half as insane as she is now. That said, I want to like Newt especially after President Trump gave his wife the ambassador position at the Vatican a dream job btw, but he just always disappoints in the end. I don’t trust him, either, Dawn!
Nutty Nan was never anything to get excited about.
Exactly … Pelosi knew what she was doing – he didn’t … she destroyed Newt’s political future with that 1 “sofa” event !!!
NEVER EVER believe a democrat is your friend – or – cares about your America agenda … THEY EXIST TO DESTROY YOU !!!
Malcolm X tried to warn about this 60 years ago. True then. True now.
One-hundred thumps up!
Newt has spent a lot of time writing books in praise of Trump and America..
Newt knows what sells.
“Don’t trust that POS”
Hopefully this applies to EVERYONE, inçlud8ng oneself.
With the exception of Obamacare, the “R’s” have NEVER been together on anything…but then again they aren’t really on our side, are they? Traitors all, including Newt.
The Rs were together on Obamacare? They promised to get rid of it. They had the House, Senate, and Presidency. Yet they kept Obamacare.
They hadn’t planned on Trump and thought they could run on that lie for many more years.
Exactly. The Uniparty WANTS Single payer Nationalised Health Care,…
The Republican wing just doesn’t SAY it.
Ditto Gun confiscation, .and open borders, and transgender B.S. and suspension of parental rights, etc. they just don’t SAY it.
Thanks to John Mc Stain, who tanked the vote simply because of his grudge against President Trump.
Not even close. ObumblerCare was the same grift as Roe & repealing social security.
They have “principals” until they don’t. They’ll raise 💵💰💵💰& run for election/re-election on those “principals” until they shiv the voters between the ribs with a freshly sharpened knife.
There’s nothing new under their sun either.
He married a younger DC trophy wife.
She was an attractive Congressional Page and 25 years younger than Newt!
Can’t really say that I blame him.
You just saw Plan B in action. Trump got the clean CR with 175 R votes
Spent the same amount of money as the longer document.
But still cut out some really bad stuff.
One already announced Plan B:
Primary enough of the “We Refuse to Be Part of PDJTs Team” House Reps, like Rep Chip, to get the rest to savvy up, stop being prima Donna I-Know-Betters and instead decide to become team players on Coach POTUS Trumps Team.
Obviously, there is more than just one carrot and stick plan to create the disciplined House Team President Trump needs.
And those who are praying for the successful implementation of President Trumps Save America Project MAGA need.
Too bad Newt turned out to be a snaked in newt clothing.
How so?
He stabbed us in the back when he was in CONgress. Look it up.
I don’t think I’ll bother. If you can’t provide a documented example or two for your screed, all you are is a useless troll.
I’ve lived in Ga. 80+ years. Newt is a low life crook that’s despised by any Georgian who knows anything about him. You want information, look it up. You too lazy?? Maybe a SHORT walk would help your disposition….
Lazy?
Why can’t you trolls back up your slams with at least a couple examples?
Or are YOU too dam lazy to provide support for your assertions???
The person making the claim is responsible for providing any information required to back it up, not the person that’s getting pitched!
Indeed, let’s ask Cindy about Italy.
NAFTA. Hear the giant sucking sound of our jobs disappearing. Too easy….
I hold him mostly responsible for the Clinton Crime spree years. I also hold him in a good sized measure responsible for much of our current mess created from the sordid Clinton Treason years. Imo he is the arch-Fabian Uniparty traitor.

very specific…..better to not speak…
Among his many wrongs to the party,he left his wife in the middle of a serious battle with cancer for his -girlfriend –
Wasn’t that John McLame?
Yes, him too!
Well, apparently they had been discussing divorce for 1o years prior to the incident in question. Also she was not dying of cancer as you state further below, but had just undergone her second of three operations to remove tumors. She lived to 77 years old and died in 2013.
This information took me seconds to find.
https://www.salon.com/2011/03/08/gingrich_divorce_hospital_cancer/
Read the article to the END. Not just the first paragraph. I stand by what I said..
I don’t remember that. I thought he was one of the most effective speakers we had. He excelled at whipping votes. That’s why Democrats railroaded him out.
He was very effective Council On Foreign Relations member Speaker for the GOPe Uniparty. He also just about single-handedly destroyed the Republican Revolution of 94
Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich Commercial on Climate Change
Thank you for the reminder. I’ve given that slimy amphibian almost no thought since we’ve become rid of him from congress.
I suspect his parents experienced some sort of premonition when the named him:
” Newts metamorphose through three distinct developmental life stages: aquatic larva, terrestrial juvenile, and adult. Adult newts have lizard-like bodies andreturn to the water every year to breed, otherwise living in humid, cover-rich land habitats.“
Cheers friend, he’s a stain on Harrisburg PA, Clan Chattan, Georgia, the Republican party, and Heritage America. As Speaker he had the power in the 90’s to stop and finally “fix” (sarc) immigration, stop the economic treason of Free Trade, loss of our sovereignty, and the China giveaways of the Clinton Admin that if he truly was a patriot and follower of the Constitution, could have nailed Clinton for ChinaGate instead he deflected with the Lewinsky psyop as noted in an above post by Clivus. He also could have stopped the NATO expansion wars that currently have us on the brink of WWIII.
Again, thanks for jarring what’s left of my memory. Your post caused me to remember that there was something else even more disturbing than the newt playing all kissy face with Nancy Pelosi.
The wecansolveit.org website that that those two hyenas directed us to in the video no longer works fo me. But that funding disclaimer at 0:22, some here might find it interesting
“The Alliance for Climate Protection was founded in 2006 by Al Gore to encourage civic action against climate change.[5] The organization was founded in Palo Alto, California, and later moved to Menlo Park, California, before relocating to Washington, D.C., in 2009.[6][7] Originally established as a 501(c)(3), the organization later included an affiliated 501(c)(4), the Climate Protection Action Fund,[8] which developed advocacy campaigns focused on climate change solutions through grassroots organizing and lobbying.[9]
The organization was partially funded by proceeds donated from Gore’s documentary An Inconvenient Truth, as well as profits from the book of the same name. Gore also donated his salary from his work for the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers and prize money from his 2007 Nobel Peace prize for a total of more than $2.7 million. The distributor of An Inconvenient Truth, Paramount Classics, also donated 5 percent of the film’s box office earnings to the Alliance.”
That TV commercial was the final nail in CFR Newt’s proverbial coffin for me.
He did some good deeds as Speaker, yes. However Newt was not acting in America’s interests as he enables the rise of the Clintons.
I clearly remember seeing it for the first time, and just staring with my jaw agape. Not believing what I had just witnessed.
Newt was a control freak. He realized he could raise money easier than other House members. He would contribute to them if they agreed to do everything he wanted. If they didn’t, he’d fund their primary opponent.
He sounds like Mitch McConnell.
He is not.
Treepers better come to terms with the obvious… a Trump presidency happened with multiple supportive silos, and not just ours. We are nowhere near being enough to alter the course, we join with others less knowledgeable and aware to bring reform to DC. Newt played his part long ago, he has a place in our common history.
Newt got the full Alinsky treatment from the demonrats and their party organs long before BHO perfected it.
Only President Trump has been treated worse.
Nixon, JFK, and RFK say, hold my beer.
Newt got the Dem+media treatment just like Nixon had.
He was a problem to Dem/Deep State so media went after him full time. They forced him out. Didn’t he resign over some book deal Dems do all the time?
Once he was gone, Dems had an open field. Who followed him? I can’t even remember because he was ineffectual. As were all successive Speakers including Johnson.
So far as cheating on his wife. Don’t most powerful men behave that way.
Most powerful men who cheat on their wife dying from cancer quietly go away like John Edwards. Newt just pretends it never happened…
Newt still owes money for one of his Presidential campaigns.
Absolutely true. The Alinsky rule to “pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it” was employed endlessly and with great success by our beloved Main Stream Media. Back in Newt’s prime, the Dems and their allies in the MSM feared Newt/Contract with America agenda and worked tirelessly in the MSM to derail his initial success and to destroy Newt Gingrich personally.
Eventually, the MSM/Demorats completely polarized and demonized Speaker Gingrich and his name, title and agenda were shortened in the MSM to simply “Newt.” It was almost like Newt became another name for Nazi in the efforts of the propagandists in the MSM. I also felt that the MSM strategy worked. The audience and consumers of MSM were persuaded that Newt was evil.
I still feel Speaker Gingrich was a top 4, (PDJT, Rush, Reagan, Newt) effective spokesman for Conservatism. Newt could out debate anybody opposed to conservatism. IMHO, it’s asking a lot of any one person to endure the endless MSM attacks/onslaught and eventual take down that was forced upon Speaker Gingrich. PDJT is the only person in my lifetime that has defeated the all out attacks of the Dems/MSM, etc. and is standing taller than ever.
I voted for Trump. But he is absolutely not a conservative. His spending is atrocious.
In the beginning one must spend money to make money.
Newt may well have his faults, but as Sundance points out, he is exactly right here. If the Republicans can’t get behind President Trump with a united caucus, the Trump agenda will fail.
Well, that’s a no-brainer anybody could come up with.
Amen. What we have right now are three political parties.
Progressive (Marxist)-squad, Obamas, Harris, Bernie, etc
Establishment-Dems and RINOs in office
MAGA (populist constitutionalist) we the people, Trump, Musk
None of the three is a majority. It will take some compromise. Heretofore the Marxists and Establishment have formed a coalition to defeat MAGA.
What I find interesting is that President Trump has been putting together a reverse-Uniparty with MAGA. The Uniparty gels Dems and Republicans, but it’s always the Republicans caving to the Dems and working against MAGA conservatives (even while sometimes pretending to be one — especially during election time.)
With Trump’s MAGA, he is getting Dems and Libertarians like RFK Jr, Nicole Shanahan, Tulsi, and Elon to be a part of MAGA conservatism and work against the Dems, even if they don’t agree on every item. An interesting new dynamic.
President Trump’s Truth Social
“I am pleased to announce Callista L. Gingrich will be our next United States Ambassador to Switzerland.
Happily married to the Great Newt Gingrich, Callista previously served, with distinction, as my Ambassador to the Holy See. During her tenure, Callista worked to advance and defend international religious freedom, combat human trafficking, and provide humanitarian assistance around the World.
Callista graduated, with honors, from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1988.
Congratulations!”

Did Newt comment on how and why Johnson introduced that 1500 page corrupt monstrosity in the first place?
If Johnson wasn’t OK with it, why would he do that?
Probably had to do 1,500 pager to get to now. He couldn’t very well start with a 136 pager. Probably in some communication with Trump/Musk to have AI speed read this and hilight the crap. That set folks on fire and shrunk it to 136.
If true, that would make me feel better.
Whether he intended it or not, WE, MAGA are certainly better off for having the 1500 pager submitted, exposed and rebuked, including Sen Mike Lees exposing it was written by Mitch, Chuck , Mike and Hakeem, and then WE successfully defeating it with a loud, clear “Oh, HELL no!” and then getting a much slimmed down bill.
Its the same Freedom Caucus so loudlt complaining about Mike Johnson, that installed him as Speaker in the first place.
They are pissed that Johnson didn’t work with them, to get enough votes to pass, and instead worked with the Dems.
But, maybe the Freexdom Caucus are too demanding, and uncompromising, so that to strike a deal with them would mean losing a few other Repubs, so Johnson had no other choice?
Yes. Elon used a computer program called Gronk to decipher and summarize the bill lickety split.
if that is the case and AI is used to read these monster bills that Pelosi used to say you have to pass it to be able to read the bill. Then the AI is a game changer and knocks out their ability to hide all of their pork without anybody seeing it until months later.
Congress writes lengthy legislation placing limits, and other forms of restriction* on how AI can be used in the deciphering of government documents in ….3……2…….1…..
*only approved government agencies may have access to “high capacity” AI.
If AI is a game changer, then you best be sure they are going to write some rules so they can control this new game.
🧐 they wouldn’t dare do that!
Good luck with that. They can’t control that and that form of AI is out of the bag and the government will be pissing in the wind if they try. They might try to encrypt the documents so that the AI tools can’t work without decrypting. I think that will not stand judicial scrutiny. That said, legislation is written using so complex terminology and structure purposefully to make it difficult to understand. That ensures the legislators and their staff are experts to help as consultants decider the intent. I know, I have used AI tools to try to convert complex legal language and summarize it in a plain English language. It does some things okay and others not so much. An example, a bill that says something like “notwithstanding the requirements of 49 CFR Section 125 this section covers……”. AI throws up on that……as do I.
Until ai gets tired of reading the crap and tells us to kill ourselves.
When it does – I recommend not listening to it.
I believe it’s called Grok. If so, it’s named after a Martian word coined by Robert A. Heinlein in his most famous novel Stranger In a Strange Land.
To grok is to understand very thoroughly. It has other meanings that are slowly revealed in the story.
Yes you are correct
Still one of my favorite words. Few concepts are so well encapsulated by 4 letters.
And isn’t it the also the name of an animated character that looks like a combination of a tree and a humanoid? The child version is cute.
That would be Groot from the Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Spelling correction. It’s Grok not Gronk
Grok.
AI is going to make it a lot harder to hoodwink the voters from here on out.
Johnson is a-ok with his defined role of carrying water for ChiCom Mitch & Chuckles Schumer. He really believes that he heads 1/2 of 1/3 of the gubmint. Never mind that he controls the💰💵💰💵. Minor detail…
The senate owns the House & the Oligarchs own both of the OligarchWhore Houses. SSDD
That’s an insult to Ladies-of-the-evening houses!
We’re talking about Kongress! Boys-of-the-evening have become quite popular too!
Don’t blame the me messenger, but some writers on other Conservative sites are saying he pushed it forward and released it so that the public could see it. He wanted that 1,500 page monstrosity out so the American people could read it and know precisely what goes on in those CRs. We the citizens were allowed to voice our opposition.
There was a $15,000,000 college scholarship fund going to kids in Egypt. This wasn’t so they could attend college here but in Egypt. Why in the hell is the United States giving other countries $Tens of Millions so THEIR citizens can attend university?
Frankly, I don’t see him as some mastermind playing 4D chess with the likes of Shumer, Mitch McChina, and Jeffries. However, I do know he’s been hanging out a lot with President Trump so who knows.
That would be believable only if we had not seen him try and push multiple similar monstrosities.
Grasshopper, that is my issue with Johnson. How did a 1500 page bill get written without him. Short answer? It couldn’t. Unless who wrote it bypassed him. Just as bad. Second problem is how it sneaked up on him? Didn’t he know the House has to deliver a budget? Didn’t he remember they passed a CR back is Sept? Shouldn’t he write this stuff diwn? Ask Alexa to remind him? Either he was in on it, he is naive to the point of useless or dumb as a brick.
That said, we are stuck with him. The DNC stenographers (legacy media) need a narrative and “Repub chaos” and “shutting down the government” are good ones that they use every chance they get.
Keep him for appearances sake but basically ONLY for appearances sake. He just proved he is a tool of the Democrats wittingly or not, so trust nothing he says or does. Just because 47 won overwhelmingly doesn’t mean the Marxists won’t keep trying.
According to Sen Mike Lee, Johnson workedwith McConnell, Schumer and Jefferies to write it, for 85 days before dumping it out for all to see.
None of them “ wrote it”. They probably met to agree on certain items, then turned it over to the lobbyists to write the language.
I don’t even want him for appearances sake. He is a snake in the grass.
Anyone paying attention knows all bills are written by the ” firm ” ( D-rat controlled ” think tank ” ) , outlines , desires and underhandedness are communicated to them the respective leaders of each party . What gets included is a direct result of which party leader thinks they have the most sway . Sundance , please correct me if I am off base in my conclusion .
Written by lobbyists actually.
Some of the lobbyists may be part of the Blob I suppose.
I’ll weigb in, and say your explanation fails to grasp the Uniparty concept; Congressional leadership realised a long time ago that they could profit more by cooperation than be competition.
“Didn’t he know the House has to deliver a budget?”
Wrong.
The House has not had to deliver a budget for about fifteen years now.
True.
“Is supposed to but never does” would probably be better construction.
Johnson is more than likely compromised.
He talked tough on a regular basis before becoming Speaker.
Then, after becoming Speaker, he got an “intelligence briefing”.
Not the same guy after that. He’ll be exposed if he doesn’t play ball.
I think he’s always been a weasel. Has a Judas Pence demeanor. I hope he’s gone soon…
Let’s be careful on removing him just yet…slim majority in the house and with the R CONgresswoman Kay Granger probably not in the picture due to be in a dementia-care facility, where are the House numbers now?
I think Granger’s term is up Jan. 3. Granger did not seek re-election. Another Republican was elected on Nov. 5 to take over Granger’s seat effective Jan. 3.
He had the left ( or whatever you want to call ’em) telegraph their intentions, then proceeded to paint a large target on them . If that ain’t sticking where the sun don’t shine , I don’t know what is .
Interesting.
Examining the results is wise.
Whatever the reason, it worked out for better (not perfect as it had no debt ceiling change and still had some bad stuff in there). Transparency and red pilling folks is happening. This was another domino to fall.
Newt rightly told Maria that the 1,536 page CR was the Biden/Marxist Dims’ last stand. Touche’!
The new Sheriff is riding to DC town now, and his rep is now a bow wave clearing his way here and abroad.
Stop hating on Newt and salute his message, that’s what is most important to America First and MAGA now, not Speaker Gingrich’s personal past life. He was great as Speaker.
He reformed Welfare for the first time since 1965 with ‘welfare to work’ job training regs and forced Clinton to sign the bill.
It reduced the Welfare rolls by 66% within two years and his budgets helped creat many millions of jobs
Full disclaimer,… yeah, I like him, he taught us AM History at Tulane when he earned his PHD there. He has also pinned over 24 books. He was a great, compelling prof at a Liberal U, we all really enjoyed him and his classes.
I believe he will now help PDJT convince the House GOP Reps to get and stay on Trump’s MAGA team,… or face, as Newt told Maria, a primary challenge from Donald and Elon,…as Reagan did to his Rino
reprobates.
The first thing they do each AM is check their polling #s. Newt will remind them it’s in their long term interest to work with Trump.
I think Johnson was encouraged to get the original bill out into sunlight for two reasons: expose RINOs and let uninformed Americans know where the money was heading.
Never happen where the House GOP will “get on the same page”. Way too many rinos and vote selling trash
Also, Way too much ic pressure to vote the way they’re told. Extortion is a powerful tool.
Same page? Heck they aren’t even reading the same book. A bunch of them are off in a different library.
Well, the democrats put all their differences aside and vote in absolute lockstep.
It matters not what the issue as long as it is against the interests of the United States and/or the Bible, democrats will vote in lockstep.
The republicans will not ever vote together to beat the democrats because too many of the republicans are democrats in disguise.
Not to mention, the republicans don’t want to lose control of the party to WE THE PEOPLE.
Not true; Just as Mitch uses “squishie” Republicans Murkowski and Collins to vote no when everyone else votes yes, in order to insure a bill the base wanted but he didn’t is defeated, Schumer used Synema and Manchin to do the same thing; having them vote against ending the fillibuster rule.
This was something the liberal base was SCREAMING for, but that Schumer no more wanted than McCinnell did, as they would lose the ability to contol vote outcomes.
Remember when libtard protesters followed Synema into the bathroom and filmed her?
Yeah it was back then.
The Uniparty has Senators vote exactly how it wants; 4 votes matter; the other 531 are proxies, just for show.
Exactly.
Hard to visualize the Dems being in ” lockstep ” without comparing them to the nazi party in 1939
Newt became my hero several decades ago when he put The (Ken) Starr Report outlining the abject perversion and sexual predations of Bill Clinton on the fledgling internet as soon as it was available.
Bill Clinton used to crow about how the “Information Super-Highway” was going to be “The Bridge to the 21st Century” because he and Al Gore were trying to take credit for it.
Newt got Clinton real good on that one ❗️
Go Newt‼️
Hey CM,
With the utmost respect to a fellow NJ, that was a brilliant way to deflect from the ChinaGate treason and help cover Council On Foreign Relations arch-traitor Newt’s erasing of it on the impeachment psyop. I applaud you for pointing this out.
Ty and cheers!
(They also used that illegal China treason money to steal the 96 GOP Primaries)

Chinagate: Beijing Bailout
https://thenewamerican.com/us/politics/chinagate-beijing-bailout/
“On July 8, 1997, Senate Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Fred Thompson (R-TN) reported that a review of classified information provided by U.S. intelligence agencies confirmed that the Communist government of China had attempted to influence the 1996 U.S. elections with massive, illegal cash infusions funneled through agents and pro-Beijing intermediaries.”
I miss Fred Thompson.
Good actor too.
We initially heard about “ChinaGate” from Newt who – as I recall – was the first one to blow the whistle on it and the primary “Republican” who covered for the Clinton’s was John McCain.
He let the cat out the bag that Al Gorzeria was Bill’s Bagman who is supposed to have picked up the CCP’s ’96 election donation at a San Fran Buddhist temple.
The quid pro quo was reported to be Bill allowing Loral to sell their missile guidance tech to the donors.
Mike Johnson strikes me as too young and inexperienced. He seems to be cowed by the senior guys, easily intimidated.
And too passive . Wants to go along and get along. Not a leader.
That’s exactly why he was chosen to be the figurehead that he is.
Like Jeff Sessions he’s in way over his head and easily led around by his nose!
Hey CJ, what do you think the blackmail was that they had on Mr Magoo to get him to recuse himself from an investigation that never had a shred of evidence?
Sessions should have never taken the job, Colkitto. According to sources Sessions folded because he attended a State Department social function in DC with the Russian Ambassador and dozens of other Congressman. The DOJ OLC told Sessions that he had to recluse himself because of that contact which was absurd.
Sessions folded like a cheap suit probably because he thought that Mueller and Weissman would nail Trump on something and he wanted to distance himself from the mess.
OFF TOPIC perchance?
“Not a leader”
Good.
Team Americas LEADER == President Trump.
More people who are humble enough to follow his directions are needed right now.
Competitors and arm chair critics are not.
Also more praying and less preying reactions, perchance?
Yes agreed. Sort of like Peabody, but without the large brain.
On the other hand, the ONE person who has the most relevant first hand knowledge and experience; the person Americans just re elected to be Team Americas Second Revolutionary Wars DECIDER and COMMANDER In Chief, President DJT, disagrees with thee about MJ.
Consequently, please really LISTEN (or listen again) to, then HEED Newt Gingrich’s WARNING words about the SURVIVAL NEED to immediately start working TOGETHER as a UNIFIED, TRUMP LEAD, TEAM; a warning that Sundance just highlighted and shared.
No matter their motives or how patriotic they think they are, those who REFUSE to accept President Trumps LEADERSHIP and defer to his ultimate Decision Making AUTHORITY are aiding our Globalist enemies and are our eras patriot-turned-betrayer, I-Know-Better, Benedict Arnolds.
As colonists used to remind second guessing General George critics, “we hang together NOW, or we will lose and all hang seperately”.
I’ll be surprised if Johnson retains the seat.
Don’t remove him until after all the vacancies caused by Trump cabinet picks have been safely filled, preferably by MAGA replacements. The margin is razor thin right now and that gives the Dems too much leverage.
I think Matt Gaetz should put his butt into the seat he ran for and won, and do the work for as long as necessary.
Matt Gaetz should just go away
with all the PPP money he took
Exactly. He caused all of this by removing Kevin Mc Carthy.
Too many Rs are not MAGA, they are Uniparty.
WTF is the deal with Kay Granger?
RightdtheShip
She got found out by an “investigative” reporter code for Democrats’ private eye. Biden has the same cognitive issues but the media never said a word.
A headline on Citizen Free Press says she was found in a dementia memory facility where she resided for several months.
Great Congress we have.
NOT!!!
4 months.
Wonder what would happen if they flew her back with caregivers to vote as long as legally able. If Dems objected to her votes, wouldn’t that publicly allow arguments against Biden signing stuff right now?
They did the same thing with Diane fine stink. Not a peep from the left about that.
Interesting that the media trotted out two fossils this election season. Newt and Carville.
Somehow those two fit into some secret media narrative-shaping operation I guess.
It’s to appeal to the Boomers. The Fox News audience is old.
“I’m 37, I’m not old” meme… 😉
How each Senator/Congressman votes, and why, would be very well supported by a transparent, Public, disclosure, of all funds received for campaign contributions, speaking fees, book deals, and stock trades, as well as the origin of the funds or information.
These people vote for “their own” interests. Not the Nation’s interest.
If they’ve got nothing to hide, there should be no problem disclosing any income from any source not related to their actual salary.
Whether Musk gets named Speaker or just leads DOGE, with technology today, we could crowdsource bills, get we, the people’s feedback, then pass them. Despite the thin Republican majority–would a RINO stand up against something that 75 or 80% of the non-woke American people wanted to pass? I doubt it.
Let common sense reign!
Benny Johnson has been beating a drum about voter ID ever since November 5th.
He says 85% of the public supports it solidly.
He also says that Kommie-La lost every state that has it.
Could be a good single-issue bill to get started with your plan.
How to tell Dem pols from Repub pols.
Dem pols put Party FIRST, Self (career) second and to hell with the country.
Repubs put Self (career) FIRST and to hell with the country AND the party.
That’s how you get a party that governs whether they are in power or not.
Actually, you expect such infomation being made public would shame them into altering their behavior, or spark wild outrage, but Peter Schwieher (I think it is) has been writing a# of bestselling books for years, detailing exactly how Corrupt Congress makes its millions…
And the public,…yawned.
No, I don’t believe shaming them would work. They have no shame.
However, it might open them up to legal responsibility and jail sentences that would get their attention.
Hanging them would work…I guarantee it😉
Yes, good books by Peter Schweizer. “Blood Money” and “Red Handed”. The politicians just cannot resist the big money offered by China. Goes way back to Bushes and Henry Kissinger.
They should have to wear jackets with supporter patches on them like NASCAR drivers. Wouldn’t that be a hoot? Pharam and defense companies would be the largest patches by far!!
Something along these lines…
Why anyone still listens to aged-out, never-go-away politicians is a mystery.
Or reference and link to any MsM source
Wyoming: Yes, that, too.
Like Claire Mc Caskill?
If I’m understanding right, Republicans need to fight like Democrats… with one voice, right or wrong.
“fight like Democrats”
What an oddly negative way to frame the SRVIVAL NEED for Republicans to work together as a TEAM which includes accepting President Trum as THE LEADER and THE ULTIMATE DECIDER when persuasion time ends and its now time to vote.
There are many jobs that don’t require team work. Hopefully Rep Chip will be primaried next year so he can find one of them.
Hopefully the Reps he’s been leading astray will wake up, savvy up and repent by joining President Trumps Team
Good luck with that
“Good luck with that”
Genuine question:
Are these words a sincere expression of hope that President Trump and his allies succeed or
passive aggressive sarcastic snark?
What’s it to you?
Snark is another form of free speech. Something Sundance and real Treepers treasure.
If everyone is wanting to replace Mike Johnson
And if the speaker does not need to be a house member
And if it might give the Reps another vote
And because Elon and Vivek are better left in place at DOGE
Then WHY has nobody pulled their head out and thought
“Hey, why not Newt?”
Newt is the actual cause of how Congress works today. He realized that he could raise money as Speaker more easily than they could. So, he’d give them money if they did what he wanted. If not, he’d finance their challenger in the primary.
The Bill Clinton bills weren’t balanced. They borrowed from Social Security, which doesn’t show up in the debt calculation. The government has now spent over $6.5 trillion of Soc Sec for general expenses. The government has a severe spending problem.
So rehire a Washington insider instead?
No thanks, we need someone who has never been in DC.
Sundance? Any thoughts?
NO!! He is part of the major problem with CONgress.
“IF everyone is wanting to”
Positing a fantasy “If” rather than discussing the REAL WORLD where President Trump lives and where more and more of his actual supporters have moved to, thanks to his efforts to wake them up?
Ignoring Sundances efforts too?
And the warning words of the man Sundance chose to highlight and to describe as pragmatic?
Bottom line, hopefully sleepy heads, whether knowingly malevolent or unwitting Useful Idiots, wake up, humble themselves, accept President Trump as this wars elected ultimate DECIDER COMMANDER In Chief and become team players
before its too late….
for everyone
TY, spot on advice, but some here like to listen to “What a fool believes”! – Doobie Brothers.
The lyrics:
“But a fool believes, what he sees.
A wise man has the power to reason away
what seems to be
is always better than nothing “
Voting as a team? Ha! As if that will happen. We just saw Johnson rely on Democrats for his CR.
OK, so who wrote the 1500-page monstrosity? Fire them. If a 1500-page bill can be written, couldn’t a 150-page bill(s) be written in a shorter time?
Why didn’t Speaker Johnson, the day after Trump was declared the 2024 winner, begin drafting a CR, putting them into individual bills, giving every Republican 10 days to review and add in their “sacred cows” and then get the bill passed whether Democrats did anything or not?
The expectations for our government leaders is so low. Thus, Newt thinks Johnson is doing a good job. We haven’t passed a legitimate budget with appropriations in what, 2 decades? The first act of DOGE should be to get our government at least doing their job–then doing it well. It’s going to require a paradigm shift in thinking.
I’ve yet to see a cogent explanation for why Johnson even introduced that monstrosity, or why he waited until the last minute to do so.
Anyone??
He’s in on the swindle. Nobody can tell me they worked on a multi-thousand page bill and they just now got it done and they expect people to read it? This is nonsense and it goes on every freaking year. It’s ALWAYS an emergency – we must get this bill out. Total hogwash.
According to Senator Mike Lee, Johnson, Jeffries, McConnell, and Schumer put the bill together.
It was the Uniparty CR with a bunch of regulations to Trump-proof the Swamp – https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/12/19/the-insufferable-1547-page-continuing-resolution-bill-was-a-massive-omnibus-of-regulatory-effort-before-trump-takes-office/
Introduce it just before the deadline and Christmas recess to limit debate and get it passed.
Too bad for the Uniparty, enough people read it (apparently used AI tools) and put pressure on GOPe to dump it and submit a new bill.
Senator Mike Lee told us who wrote it, over 85 days, he referred to them as”the Firm”; Speaker Johnson, Mitch McConnell, Schumer and Hakeem.
Sundance’s long-time answer has been that lobbyists write every bill.
It’s one of the most intriguing things I’ve ever learned here – and oft repeated.
So no, the executive branch cannot fire them.
Various lobyists, representing various interexts, suit billat to the firm, (Majority nd Minority ldeaders from both Houses) who then meld the various submissions into one bill.
I would disagree with Gingrich because for decades the Republicans have had the same problem or excuses when it comes to the budget and spending.
They need to be told that if they want to run as Republicans that there are things where they all have to be on the same page:
a balanced budget,
in a number of much shorter sections,
prepared to be submitted say one a month so all can read and debate these,
continuous scrutiny and removing of wasteful spending,
the transparent auditing of all monies received by each government department
and a strict repayment of debt in a time frame not exceeding 20 years.
Nothing new about that … the problem is we have too many hold out RINOs that people
keep voting back in. Term limits won’t stop RINOs. They’ll just vote RINOs in.
We need an informed, vigilant electorate. Some people like to hide behind term limits.
There are some people, in D.C.I don’t want termed out – MTG, Jim Jordan etc.
Trump winning in 2016 showed what an informed electorate can do.
It is not the stupid voters that keep voting for RINOS, time after time, although I am strongly in favor of an informed electorate.
It is State Republican Parties, and specifically the Ecmxecutive committees, that insure these same RINOS get voted back in, year after year.
🎯
Newt talked about the “Trump Effect.” As examples he mentioned the shrinking of the continuing resolution as well as initial successes with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. I would have also included the progress made through successful meetings with multiple world leaders as examples.
If someone had told us a year ago that all of these successes would come to pass between Election Day and Christmas, we would have been ecstatic. Why would we nitpick the results of the “Trump Effect?” (if we’re being honest it’s really the God Effect)
During this sacred time of year let us not give in to dark imaginings, grumbling and nitpicking. Let us be thankful to a loving God for His free gift of salvation through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and for His gift of a wonderful Election Day victory.
Let us also have faith in God to deliver us from evil in 2025.
Pray continually and Merry Christmas!
It’s simple. The Uniparty are bribing each other with our money.
“Its simple”
Identifying problems always is “simple”.
Creating effective solutions to those problems that can actually be implemented is NOT simple.
Actually implementing those solutions are almost, if not totally, impossible.
Consequently, thank God President Trump loves America AND loves actually pulling off projects that everyone else believes are impossible.
Hopefully he gets the help he needs from each of us, so his breath takingly visionary, impossibly complex MAGA Project to Save America, will succeed too.
❤
Newt mentioned the Freedom caucus Republican Congressman who asks “I’m voting No, what’s on the agenda today? Reminds me of the old political joke referencing the CAVEman Party.
Citizens Against Virtually Everything.
What’s obvious to Treepers (and Newt ignores) is the reality we face in Congress today is the existence of 3 parties, not two. America First Republicans, the UniParty Repubs and the lock step Demorats.
Uniparty Republicans must be completely purged before we can achieve 100% lockstep voting/compliance similar to what the Dems regularly do.
And in order to purge the Rinos, we first must primary and so purge RINOS from the State R party Executive Committees, its the only way MAGA can prevail.
Yes!!!
State and local elections, need high turnout in the off-cycle elections to flip them (no reason for a D governor in states like LA and KY).
We need to work now to start the primary process for 2026 seats.
LA now has a very Conservative Gov Mike Landry (R).
Eric.
Reread my posts; I am NOT talking abouy primarying elected PUBLIC officials at the state level.
I am talking about “primarying” elected State PARTY officials, specificaly the State R Party Executive Committee members who have held the position for years, and are RINOS, and reolacing then with MAGA.
Shouldnt we fix the election fraud first?
Hello Seth. I’m involved as a Precinct Committeeman in my local county GOP. I’m a relative newcomer. The entrenched politicians are difficult to dislodge and most are themselves first, not America first. We all need to stay involved politically at the local level on up. And yes, election fraud is critical and your local involvement will help fix that problem too.
ITS THE ONLY WAY
Have you read your copy of the by-laws? Need to practically memorise them.
The party officials are ALL elected, and can be voted out. Its just a matter of getting enough MAGA involved.
High turn out, win off-cycle elections (think SoS, Governor, etc elections that take place in 2025). Need those to take back control.
How about concurrently.
We have to walk, chew gum, and do backflips at the same time…
Unless we have a MAGA Majority in control of the State Republican party Executive Committee, wewill NOT get true, comprehensive election reform, and they would STILL rig the vote if they could.
“first”
this is a multi front war to survive
with multiple tasks being addressed simultaneously
by different people and groups
The Commander In Chief, Ultimate Decider and Guide == PDJT.
Bottom line, there are many ways to help President Trump succeed.
Those who truly seek ways to help him quickly start finding them
“Uniparty Republicans must be completely purged before we can achieve 100% lockstep voting/compliance similar to what the Dems regularly do.”
OR find a Repub equivalent of Nasty Pelosi to threaten, cajole, blackmail and/or ruin anyone who doesn’t vote as instructed.
Perhaps President Trumps views, which are being amplified by President Trumps Realpolitik wise allies like Newt, DO express “the reality we face”
and also mmm offer useful guidance about what each one of s can DO right NOW to actually help out?
Perhaps online opiners who believe that their ideas around what to do are MORE “realistic” than PDJTs and his allies, actually aren’t?
Perhaps its NOT just DC politicians who need to upgrade their survival instincts and threat awareness enough to WAKE UP and accept that Americas survival depends on their willingness to join President Trumps team and accept President Trumps leadership?
The incumbent president has already done more FOR the country then the current has done in four years. I am looking toward the future. Let the inauguration pass and watch what happens, not what is said. I believe there is good in this country. The election was the evidence. I also have a long memory and even though I live in NH I will use my voice and vote at the local level. There has not been a conservative in DC from NH in decades.
What part of New Hampshire? I lived in New Hampshire and graduated High school there. I lived in a little town of Wilton, Outside of Nashua.
Twenty miles North of Rochester. Sanbornville. The bottom of Carroll county and it is very red here. It is disheartening to see how many people here are conservatives in a state that has a Republican governor and yet there is no conservative representation for us in DC.
Newt Gingrich: The Establishment’s Conservative
https://thenewamerican.com/us/politics/newt-gingrich-the-establishment-s-conservative/
–
“NAFTA and GATT — In 1993, Gingrich proved himself invaluable to Clinton and the Democrats in Congress when he garnered enough Republican support to pass the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the precursor for development of an eventual North American Union, following the same trajectory that has occurred in Europe with the emergence of the EU. (See the October 15, 2007 “North American Union” issue of The New American, especially “NAFTA: It’s Not Just About Trade” by Gary Benoit.) The next year he followed suit by supporting the creation of the World Trade Organization (WTO). As Minority Whip, he could have postponed the lame-duck vote on GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade) that subjected Americans to the WTO. Gingrich’s Benedict Arnold act helped to hand over the power to regulate foreign commerce, a power reserved in the Constitution to Congress alone, to an internationally controlled body, making America’s economic interests entirely at the mercy of the WTO.”
Not to mention helping to give MFN status to Communist China, opening the door for the complete takeover of America’s manufacturing world power.
The New American Mag was America First from the beginning and were shunned by most conservatives. Thank you Colkitto for posting that.
Slainte Gronimo. I was getting worried that only a handful of us remembered the truth about Newt until your post
Any time Colkitto. Any time.
(Note: to be honest, I had to look that one, “slainte,” up.) My Pastor is from Ireland. I’m gonna hit him with that next time we meet.
Bill Clinton granted China (CCP) MFN status on his way out the door,… Not Newt.
Yes it was a disaster, Clinton sold us out.
Hopefully helpful suggestion
to improve this “How PsyWar Savvy or Still Vulnerable Are You?” test:
Perhaps do a side by side that has this pic with Newt and the Clinton’s AND the famous pic of DJT and Melania with their wedding guests Bill and Hillary?
Some choose to react by preying on others, a reaction that’s encouraged and exploited by malevolents. Others try to react by praying for them.
There were a lot of words to go along with the picture. Derp.
When are you going to give an example of action you demand, beyond a simplistic order to obey without question?
Always insinuating malevolent behavior when you dislike truths you find inconvenient to reconcile.
Transparency through declassification is our only hope. Use sunlight illuminated DS embarrassments to wrangle the votes needed, while preparing for the 2026 Primary Season.
Saddle up, we’re riding at dawn…..
If the Club Cabal can install a fake President and manufacture a fake pandemic, destroying classified documents before theyre declassified shouldn’t be too difficult.
Unfortunately, his wife Callista is now supposed to be in President Trump’s cabinet. I don’t like and I don’t trust Newt.
What spot in the Cabonet?
US Amb to Switzerland

Not a cabinet member according to the Brave search summary below.
(I’ve always thought that making someone an ambassador is a convenient way to remove them from the action.)
—–
Ambassadors in US GovernmentDefinition and Role: Ambassadors of the United States are persons nominated by the president to serve as the United States’ diplomatic representatives to foreign nations, international organizations, and as ambassadors-at-large.
Comparison:
Conclusion: In general, ambassadors are not considered cabinet members in the US government, as they are not part of the principal official advisory body to the president and do not head executive departments.
TY.
That’s a mercy anyhow.
But, they do have to go through the Senate Confirnation process, which means if he need someone to move from ambsssador to his cabinet, without the need to go thru Senate confirmation, like he did with Ric Grennell, he can.
“I don’t trust Newt”
Hopefully no one trusts ANY human being, including themselves since everyone, whether they realize or not, is very imperfect.
Hopefully subjective feels and cherry picked, psyop deployed factoids, don’t cause anyone to tune out another human being who might have something worth hearing and pondering despite their imperfections?
Especially when that imperfect human being is a President Trump endorsed ally plus long timecacquaintance AND Sundance is asking his readers to REALLY listen to and heed that imperfect PDJT ally’s warning words?
Again, aren’t we ALL imperfects?
Wouldn’t each one of us benefit from being preyed on less and prayed for more?
Hopefully each answer, especially the last one, is a Light Hearted, “YES!”. 😘
You could’ve just said you disagreed. 🤷🏻♀️
This guy is not MAGA. “Empower Democrats.” That’s GOP policy!
“This guy is not MAGA”
Genuinely puzzled.
“This guy” == ???
Obviously the guy who is a long time President Trump acquaintance and advocate who Sundance is highlighting as worth heeding, Newt == a far more MAGA guy than many commenters in this convo thread are.
They remind me of the intolerant Marxist Dims who attack and smear any who don’t fit or agree with their Cultist dogma, regardless of their target’s past positive accomplishments for Conservatives while a public figure.
They should Wake up and not act like Wokes now.
Get on the team or stfu with negative BS, just to appear Smart..
Hate to say it, but…..
I don’t think it will/would happen.
A unified front from 1/2 of the Uniparty?
The so-called, “Republicans”?
Not likely.
It’s a “Wish., in one hand & Crap in the other, and see which one fills up the fastest..”…
I would like to be “pleasantly Surprised.”.
Certainly NOT gonna hold my breath though…
It’s like the difference between primary elections and the general election. No matter how heated Internecine differences become in the primaries, the party has to unite around the party’s choice in the general, or we can’t win.
The same thing happens with legislative debates. Once the maneuvering is over, and it’s our plan versus the Democrats’ plan, we can only win if we unite around our plan, however unsatisfactory it may be to some of us.
I am reminded of a libertarian I encountered while I was holding my nose and enthusiastically campaigning for Romney over Obama. “The lesser of two evils is still evil!” he cried.
“Yes, but you are acknowledging that he is the lesser evil. Isn’t it better to have less evil than more evil? You seriously can’t vote to have less evil?”
He was dumbfounded, as if he had never thought of that before. Crazy, but that’s what we are up against.
IMO, Newt was the most effective speaker we had. So much so, he was railroaded out by Democrats.
If half of the people know about the duplicity of Gingrich and most of the rest of Congress, we know that Trump does too. Fox seems to like him a lot cos he’s always on but they also suffer from duplicitous syndrome.
Glaring missing from Gingritch’s comments about Mike Johnson is the fact that he secretly negotiated that 1500 page bill with the democrats over the last three months. Only a few of his cronies were in the know on it. The vast majority were once again handed a nasty platter and told they had to eat it all or something bad will happen.
Sure, after his first effort got derailed he kinda sorta tried to get something passed. But the real problem is that Johnson continually consults and plans with the Democrats to get their priorities and agenda through, not those of his own conference.
Now that Republicans have all three branches of government, it is their chance to show that they can lead from the front, and not be drug through the DC swamp as they are wont to do. Whether we gain control of the 4th branch and turn its head remains to be seen.
Are there leaders in the GOP who have the spine to lead, and possibly keep the House and Senate in two years? They have a dismal record, but one can always hope and above all, pray!
Every day is a chance for Mike to redeem himself but until then I have to accept things as they really are and always were.
He’s a weasel Speaker. Amongst a long list of them Arch-Fabian “NAFTA” Newt, Pedophile Dennis Hastert, Lyin Ryan, The “Kings McCarthy” and now him. The Speaker is a crucial position that why the Uniparty-DS makes sure that a Patriot-MAGA never gets it.
Well done. Cheers
The least I can do is Mock and Ridicule them…Merry Christmas!
And Merry Christmas to you and yours friend. Thank you for all of your MAGA endeavors
Thanks for getting the truth out for eyes to see..😊
Slainte!
Reads like more Opinions than facts.
Repeating my comment from the CTH daily thread:
Representative Mike Johnson’s tour as Speaker of the House has been one disaster after another since he replaced Kevin McCarthy. Mike Johnson has turned out to be nothing but an incompetent two-faced liar whose staff is just as incompetent and as dishonest as he is.
Speaker Johnson must be replaced so that honest and competent Republican leadership can take over, leadership which is palatable to both MAGA and GOPe Republicans.
The constitution doesn’t say that the Speaker must be an elected Representative. Here is a bold suggestion. Why not put JD Vance in as Speaker of the House for the first eighteen months of President Trump’s term?
JD Vance would serve simultaneously as Vice President of the United States, as President of the Senate, and also as Speaker of the House. His Speaker staff would be working very closely with Trump’s D.O.G.E. staff to push the MAGA agenda forward.
Under the constitution’s 25th Amendment, the Speaker of the House is second in line for ascension to the presidency after the Vice President.
Unless I’m mistaken, if a JD Vance term as Speaker of the House lasts less than two years, nothing in the constitution would prevent him from being limited in his future presidential aspirations by the 22nd Amendment.
In any case, taking this kind of bold step would signal to all Republican members of the Congress that the MAGA movement is here to stay and is determined to push its agenda through to final success, come what may.
I don’t like Gingrich. He’s an old RINO strategist. The fact that so many commenters right here still sing his praises is proof of how good he was at bullsh*tting people. The man is Uniparty all the way.
More than that, I’m sure Trump and his team know what they’re up against with this current pack of turds in congress. They’re going to fight him like it’s the end of the world, because for them, it is. Globalism is dying, which means their slimy, criminal gravy train is pulling into the station. All that’s left is to see how many of these crooks wind up in federal prison.
That bullchiter, Gingrich won the House for the GOP for the first time in 50 years with his “Contract With America! ” in 1994.
What GOP Rep has done better,… Certainly not the NWO Bushes.
President Trump needs all the help he can get now to herd the RINOs, including Speaker Gingrich, who knows all the arcane ropes to run the House
Every new dollar they print is basically stealing from the rest of us, I don’t care if it’s GOP, or Democrats….
The American people have to go out and earn a living by providing a service which is hard to do in Biden’s Crap economy….
because everything is overpriced thanks to high taxes and inflated goods (mainly because of those same high taxes)
While the Government is Printing money to pay themselves and their friends.
This is getting to be ridiculous. Same reason we broke away from the British Monarchy in the past!!
We need to go back to some sort of Silver, or Gold standard with a small Govt’.
No more excessive, Trillion dollar monopoly money Printing every few months.
Newt is often very insightful. But he is not perfect by any means. He endorsed the Ukraine funding. Here he lauds Mike Johnson, who hasn’t a clue how to negotiate. He also choked back in the 80’s, when the Democrats brought him to the brink of shutting down the government.
Johnson has a natural predilection to giving up before the fight begins. He is not suitable to lead the House during this critical time. He is getting walked on repeatedly by the Dems. I hope the Pubs return from Christmas organized and prepared to elect a better Speaker.
Isn’t the question…what’s in the bill? Never mind less pages.
Oh, what a wicked game they play.
Rush Limbaugh-
The New Populism Isn’t New
https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2016/02/26/the_new_populism_isn_t_new/
The great Rush Limbaugh saying Newt destroyed the Populist-Nationalist movement of the 90’s.
–
“You could say Pat Buchanan was the grandfather of all this if you wanted to. I mean, he’s the one that ran against George H. W. Bush in 1992, and he did it on many of the same premises (and so did Perot) that Trump is running today. Buchanan’s primary assault was on NAFTA, and that was the powers that be — American corporate interests aligned with political interests — conspiring to destroy American manufacturing. I mean, that was a prominent characteristic. It was beaten back in the nineties, and partially beaten back by the ascension of Newt Gingrich’s Contract with America.”
House Speaker Newt Gingrich Praises Passage of NAFTA (1993)
remember it well. It was at that point in time that I immediately walked away from Newt and never looked back.
Johnson has had a very tough first year.
Newt,(even for those haters out there), knows of which he speaks. Some of us are old enough to have been there and seen that.
There will always be leadership haters out there and this time is no different; with one exception, President Donald John Trump.
President Trump and Newt are very close friends and Newt is a trusted confidante.
As long as Speaker Johnson has the support and counsel of President Trump and Speaker Gingrich; he will get through this and the next fight, stronger and better than before.
Pay attention to Speaker Gingrich and President Trump.
Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
Captain Obvious did some good, then hung around too long, and made a stupid Climate change commercial with hammerheads wife Skeletor Pelosi.
We do need another contract with America, but not another Newt.
Clean your lenses,…Newt’s Contract W AM set the stage for both the 2010 Tea Party victory then Trump’s 2016 victory.
Better to now pay better attention to factual history and less to web based emotions..
Time to use the ‘bully pulpit’ with full intensity. Too much deferring and trust in those supposedly helping him within government during the first term.
When Newt called MTG and Matt Gaetz “traitors” for going after McCarthy I was all done with him.
MTG and Matt Gaetz took PPP money and pocketed it
so they have that in common
Speaker Johnson?
Reached across the aisle ignoring the will of the voter.
Newt and Johnson can reach across the aisle and Pelosi and Clinton or their ilk will bite their heads off.
Pelosi used Newt’s bomb thrower tactics with the media to good advantage…..Newt developed the wrap around smear.
When it came to fulfilling the promises Newt made he always came up short……NAFTA short….
Newt played cable tv and is the darling of Faux news and their audience.
Newt the original cable guy and RINO extraordinaire.
Newt’s actions speak so loud I never hear what he said.
Just because a RINO says what you want to hear from time to time…….does that excuse their actions?
From Newt Gingrich twitter account it looks like
he is full of advice on implementing the MEGA Republican agenda
and his new wife seems like a perfect match for him.
Oh my, Newt Gingrich’s wife writes books about Christmas for children .
Don’t trust her. (sarc)
