In the world of geopolitics created by the U.S. Dept of State and CIA, the pretending is thick.
A recent report has Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy now offering to give up territory to Russian President Vladimir Putin in exchange for NATO membership for the remaining portion. The story is sold by western media as if Zelenskyy has options, he doesn’t. However, Putin has a very strong weapon that President Trump has to navigate with a team of people around U.S. policy that are tenuous at best. Let’s discuss without the pretending.
Start with a Politico Article HERE, that frames the entry of President Donald Trump as the wildcard that has everyone, according to the DC narrative, rushing to get the best position in the final weeks before Trump’s arrival.
The DC narrative is that Russia is trying to maximize their land gains, while Zelenskyy and the NATO allies attempt to position for the least losses possible before they are forced to start peace talks.
It’s a little stunning that Washington DC is saying in advance of inauguration day that bloodshed stops, a ceasefire is imminent, and peace negotiations are a foregone conclusion, without President-elect Donald Trump even lifting his chin.
Apparently, and keep in mind this is the narrative of Washington DC, all President Trump needs to do is take his hand off the bible on January 20th and mysteriously global conflict comes to a screeching halt.
All things accepted and considered; the word “remarkable” is not adequate for that DC perspective. If that administrative state perspective doesn’t just encapsulate the scale of Donald Trump, I don’t know what could.
If global conflict stops or diminishes simply by changing a U.S. president, then who exactly is responsible for global conflict and escalation? I digress…
Next, we enter the perspective of Volodymyr Zelenskyy as newly espoused.
The New York Post [Article Here], where Zelenskyy tells Sky News, “If we want to stop the hot stage of the war, we should take under [the] NATO umbrella the territory of Ukraine that we have under our control. That’s what we need to do fast, and then Ukraine can get back the other part of its territory diplomatically.” Again, in this context, “fast” is the timetable in Zelenskyy’s mind, before President Trump shows up.
The proverbial “west,” which includes the White House, the CIA, NATO, the EU and the U.S. State Department are all trying to figure out their best exit from bloodshed and war, via a crisis they created a decade ago when they carried out the Maidan color Revolution in Ukraine, ultimately installing Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The intellectually honest observers of events, that’s the non-pretending group, readily admit this is exactly what happened.
So, to summarize: Zelenskyy is offering to concede territory in advance of peace negotiations, and his USA control group are trying to support that position while pretending that Zelenskyy is not saying that.
Oh, and, well, just send more money (another $24 billion) is another small detail.
Here’s where things get interesting, and how President Trump navigates this will be epic to watch.
Vladimir Putin has a weapon the “west” cannot defend against. It’s not part of his physical military armament, it’s far more powerful. Putin has the truth as a weapon.
The western group must pretend they didn’t carry out a color revolution in Ukraine. The western group must also pretend they didn’t install Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The western group must also pretend there was not a civil war happening inside Ukraine for a decade, and the western group must pretend they didn’t try to provoke Vladimir Putin with expansions of NATO and an intentional breaking of the Minsk accords. There are other pretenses that must be maintained, but those are the top ones.
Into this grand game of pretenses comes President Donald Trump, not exactly the best pretender (by choice) and Vladimir Putin not only knows this, but he also respects this Trump attribute of honesty in problem solving.
Keep in mind, President Putin watched how President Trump dealt with the “North Korea threat” problem that was left to him by President Obama. Putin watched how Trump negotiated an exit to escalating conflict by honesty confronting China, the true hand on the puppet strings of the DPRK.
Putin saw in that North Korea geopolitical dynamic that President Trump dealt with Kim Jong-un with a brutally honest strategy that encompassed the influence of China. While Putin is more allied currently with China, he knows President Trump cuts through the gordian knot woven by western interventionists. Trump cuts through the gordian knot with honest and pragmatic policy.
As a result of this dynamic, everyone around President Trump, including the National Security Council, his National Security Advisor (Waltz), his CIA Director (Ratcliffe), and his State Dept Secretary (Rubio), all have to maintain the “western” pretenses that were/are cemented by the people and silos they replace.
The larger American government, sans President Trump, have to maintain all the aforementioned pretenses, in part because the Intelligence Community and the USA media support it, and in part because it would weaken the USA on the global stage to ever make honest admissions about our control of Ukraine. And yes, that pretending dynamic includes Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg who President Trump appointed as special envoy for Russia and Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin’s strongest weapon is the truth. Vladimir Putin also knows the auto-setting on President Trump’s psyche of problem solving, ie ‘optimal solutions’, is also centered on truth.
The proverbial $64,000 question: How does truthful President Trump deal with truthful President Putin, while all around the office of the White House are people who only know how to maintain pretenses?
That my friends, is going to be a very interesting dynamic to watch.
One way President Trump could gain back the power of not pretending is to: (1) request an immediate ceasefire; then (2) tell the CIA (Ratcliffe) to immediately withdraw all CIA operatives from Ukraine; then (3) tell Secretary Marco Rubio to pull all USAID operatives out of Ukraine; then (4) tell Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy he must hold a national election within 60 days.
If the U.S and NATO pull all of the control agents out of Ukraine and hold an election, the result will highlight the will of the Ukranian people to retain Volodymyr Zelenskyy. If Zelenskyy wins, then he is in a stronger position. If he loses, then he was never strong to begin with, and he’s the wrong person to be negotiating with.
Calling for an election in Ukraine is a radical approach because I think we all know what the outcome would be. Then again, that’s the problem with pretending, when you stop you have to accept the transparently predictable forecast.
In the interim, President Putin has the truth as a weapon, and President Trump is going to have to find a way to deal with it while everyone around him maintains pretenses.
My money is on President Trump finding an optimal solution, just like he did in North Korea. It will certainly be interesting to watch.

By US statue, thanks to this last congress, I remind that he can’t withdraw from NATO without senate approval or a congressional act anymore. Putin has long said that Ukraine membership in NATO was a red line. President Trump knows this, and also knows that Putin can be flexible on other issues. Zelensky is playing the NATO card as a bluff, knowing it won’t happen. So President Trump and Putin will negotiate a settlement that gives Russia the Russian-speaking provinces of Ukraine, and also Ukrainian neutrality for 99 years; no NATO, no Russian Federation either. Zelensky will be gone to a nice mansion somewhere within a couple of months, and the Ukraine-hawks will be gone from the CIA and State.
Then Presidents Trump and Putin can work on bringing Russia into the West and disengaging with China, with business deals: Mr Trump’s specialty.
I don’t see how Z survives for another year. His own people (nazis) will track him down where ever he goes.

And the pretense danced around – Zelensky is not the legitimate head of government nor state at present.

Russia correctly sees ANY ceasefire in Ukraine as doing nothing more than giving Ukraine more time to strengthen for further war. There is absolutely no reason for Russia to quit when they are successfully proceeding towards ALL their stated goals…most importantly, the denazification of Ukraine. The ONLY way Ukraine will be denazified is when Russia has full control.

You are way behind. Independent reporter Patrick Lancaster (youtube) reported on the referendums which those Eastern provinces had about 2 years ago. They all voted to join Russia and so they are all now Russian territory. They are on Russian pensions and using Russian phone systems. In addition, various parts of Russia are sponsoring the rebuilding efforts in selected areas.
The Deep State will need fresh money to keep paying Ukrainian civil servants and pensions. Republican Speaker Mike Johnson was the tie breaking vote to send Ukraine 60 Billion Dollars earlier this year. No money for Ukraine is the way stop WW III. Maybe I’m too simple, wasn’t Ukraine part of Russia? Zelenskyy is a puppet for the deep state, cut all the strings/help and tell Putin to have it all and see what he does. My guess is he will kick out the deep state allow elections and Ukraine to be Ukraine. Also I was under the impression the actual citizens of Ukraine wanted Putin. Poland, for a lot of its history. Eastern Ukraine is closer to Russia ethnically. Western Ukraine is not.
Here’s an electoral map from 2004 before the US-sponsored color revolution to remove Yanukovic who refused to join the EU. The east/west divide is obvious.
The best possible outcome of this is Ukraine becomes officially neutral with semi-autonomous regions in the east or even a Moscow-leaning regime. Something that the West wouldn’t be able to touch.
Elections won’t solve the civil war though. Either the country gets ruled by the Russia-leaning population, or it gets a leader from Western Ukraine that is Russia-leaning.
The pain the EU and the weaponized American bureaucracy need to feel is the burning pain of humiliating defeat.
They stirred up these troubles and lots of good people died in a pointless avoidable war. That map says it all.

Inviting Russia into NATO could be an excellent idea in my view. This proposal would expose all the enemies of peace and make them very upset. But I think the idea should be explored.

No I think all the pretending in the IC and support will stop. The world will respect trump and us. They and their deep states are all involved in their areas as well. The morass of corruption worldwide. Trump has a mandate here and around the world to humanly and divine help to do all and in telling the truth and destroying the impediments.
As the world watches, they can see the evil that our country has done. They can see that evil men have caused our country to do what it has done.
At the same time, however, they will respect the constitution. They know the process which forged our constitution. They know that our founders, knew that evil lurks in the hearts of all men, and that no small collection of power can be left unchecked.
The whole world is watching the process by which the US Constitution allows our country to right itself, even when evil greedy men tried to take it over.
Using Sundances line of demarcation, those who do not pretend have Hope and are watching an amazement at the power of Truth embedded in the US constitution, and they are cheering for it. The pretenders are relegated to scratch and claw one another for their piece of whatever power and money they can get a hold of.

Yes a little fact almost never mentioned anymore about the 10-12 day period preceding the SMO go order, that the intercepted orders that had gone out from ukr side (published btw by ru in march of 22…can believe them or not up to reader but ukr never disclaimed them) signed in mid January, were they were planning for a big ukr army push into the donbas for mid-march (units were to be ready and in place by march 15th) under guise of a ATC (anti-terror-operation) to finish them off. Also most importantly and pressing was that the shelling of whole donetsk front was up like 500% in the week prior to the SMO launch seemingly to soften up the area prior to march. That’s not bs or just press reports that’s the james baud (sweed?) who was in charge of monitoring and tracking it for the western OSCE for years – and has a book about that and everything he did and did not see in his time there. In the same week you also had Ze publically start talking about acquiring nukes.
I don’t know how all of it combined + NATO history, could be ignored anymore, delaying only meant an even tougher time later. Least everyone forget Putin had been doing his best to not actually go in, to have the oblasts stay as part of Ukr (what minsk2 was all about), having ignored (militarily) the pleading of the people for years, and domestically in ru, there were plenty who were already growing increasingly pissed he’d waited so long, right or wrong, wise or not, the sentiment was growing.
