The Florida AG is a mostly ceremonial position like the Surgeon General that doesn’t do surgery! In Florida it’s the local prosecutors elected in each county that actually prosecutes crime. Think Janet Reno in Miami-Dade County.
Murkowski and Collins will shoot her down based solely on her stance in support of what used to be Arizona’s immigration rules. They used to require illegals to have their paperwork with them at all times. Bondi made a point to offer support of that. That’s all the two scold twins need to withhold support.
TBH, I don’t see the Senate approving any nominee that is likely to upset the applecart. And, make no mistake, the DOJ is the Deepstate “beachhead”. Until you remove the apparatus of weaponized law enforcement, civil suits and amicus briefs, it’s business as usual in all the other agencies.
Bondi’s lobbying for Qatar doesn’t help (especially with their human rights record). But, I can already tell you what the first question will be to her at the nomination hearing. “Do you think that the 2020 presidential race was stolen?” No matter how diplomatic her answer, they will have her quotes to that effect ready to go…and the RINO’s will run away.
I’m not even touching on the Trayvon Martin case. I, obviously, recall her standing up for the prosecution when Crump did a magic act and produced a “witness” and she filed to disallow defense to question the prestidigitator’s magic act despite the legitimacy of the “witness.” I, also, recall her going all in on promoting Mitt Romney rather aggressively and letting that effect her decisions on the Martin case.
Do I trust her? No. But, I don’t think she has a shot at approval by the Senate. No one does unless they are for the status quo. There are barely a handful of good guys in the Senate. The rest (a vast majority) have a vested interest in the AG being a figure head or better yet a continuation of the status quo. (getting off the soapbox)

I agree but let’s all take a deep breath. Just because we won and feel like God is helping…when there are any setbacks…look up…trust in God that He sees and what will be will be. He will guide us and guide PTrump but we must not lose sight of praying for help and listening…we WILL rise to the challenges…pray for PTrumps discernment and keep praying the Holy Spirit is sweeping through DC and our world. This is not going to be fixed on day one…it’s been decades in the making…hang on folks! As SD reminds us…live your best life. We are Americans!
Oh my gosh we’re all doomed now because of a potential (more information needed) set back. So you actually thought DJT’s list of desired appointments were just going to fly through without hitting a speed bump? Get real. Hopefully you do realize that the real actionable fight for our Constitutional Republic has yet to start. Now, for all you steadfast doom and gloom all is lost types, please head for your survival bunker and set your door lock to open in four years. Even if all of DJT’s appointments and personnel changes were enacted, the fight is going to be difficult enough and a naysaying discouraging whining attitude is counter productive.
Oh this one will fly through. No worries there. We’re not heading to our bunkers. We’re expressing our strong disapproval, as is our right. But you just hold the line and keep on trustin the plan, as I’m sure you did with Sessions and Barr. That was sure productive.
