I feel stabbed in the back so far. Trump constantly went on Twitter and now truth social, screaming at the top of his lungs about how he was being persecuted by Biden’s DOJ and how the FBI fabricated the Russia hoax. I, we were all rightfully angry with him. He gets shot, narrowly dodging a bullet, we all shared his outrage. What does he do? He appoints the same type of people who perpetuated the lawfare against him. The very minute they all turn on him, he’s going to go right to truth social and complain again.

F…unless Gaetz is a special counsel.

This doesn’t feel like ‘winning.’

My deepest sympathies, Sundance. I have felt horrible about this all day and now I know why. My gut is never wrong.

THIS is why some people are called ‘tools’…. in the right hands, the finished product can be a timeless beauty.

Waiting on FBI Director nomination before drawing my conclusion on Bondi. Seems this move by Trump is a clue pointing to Kash Patel. Don’t see the Bondi/Mike Rogers combo at all.

So shooting your dog doesn’t put into question the qualification of our new DHS Secretary, facing scrutiny and a law suit over child endangerment and possible knowledge of sexual abuse on her watch as a board member of TKO doesn’t keep Linda McMahon out of the Dept. of Education and now a false prosecution with witnesses created out of thin air doesn’t hurt Pam Bondi, just what does it take to get Trump’s attention. This is what self vetting is getting us.

By the way, I had forgotten just how tacky and ugly Angela Corey was. Bondi could make her the Deputy Secretary.

NEITHER HEGSETH NOR BONDI SHOULD BE CONFIRMED

Political savvy family members in Florida call Bondi weak and dumb, as a general consensus of Floridians.

Seems to me that Trump is doing cleanup on the DS… those swamp creature remnants each picked to enjoy the spot-light. First Gates, now Bondi… who’s going to enjoy the nomination next? Sunlight is a great disinfectant.

I doubt Trump will finally keep his promises on immigration either.

What if has no intention of nominating Bondai just like he did Mike Rodgers? What if he still nominates Gaetz anyway?
Just to take the heat off him for awhile?

I feel the same sense of betrayal and disappointment that most of the 1.3K Treepers on this thread feel about this nomination.
However, I am willing to wait and see how this plays out. Anyone who thought Pres Trump was going to make a perfect choice for every slot was dreaming. Gaetz was a much better choice than Bondi, but if he was not going to get confirmed what good was his nomination.
There is no way the corruption is going to get solved in Trump’s 4 yr term. Let’s get what we can and then pray that JD can be elected in 2028 and continue the cleaning.
Besides, God has a say in this also and I think He is going to act before Nov 2028
